The purpose of this study is to investigate factors influencing Chinese consumers' intention to adopt Smartphones. This paper examines Smartphone characteristics factors (situational dependence, diversity and security) and consumer personality characteristics (innovation, self-efficacy and familarity) based on the Technology Acceptance Model. The 320 sets of data are tested against the model using SEM (structural equation model). The research results reveal that diversity and security have significant influences on both perceived usefulness and perceived playfulness. According to the data analysis, self-efficacy affects only perceived easy of use, and familiarity positively affects perceived easy of use, usefulness and playfulness. This study finds that perceived easy of use and perceived usefulness have positive influences on behavioral intention to adopt Smartphones, and situational dependence and innovation directly affect the behavioral intention. The perceived cost has a negative impact on the behavioral intention. Research results are discussed, and limitations of the current study and future research are presented.

This study analyzed the demographic characteristics, strengths and weaknesses related to information acquisition of local innovation diffusion types. This study use ordered probit model to find strengths and weaknesses of innovation diffusion type in rural area. The individual characteristics of 'formal extension type', 'situational reaction diffusion type', 'agriculturist connection type', and 'systematic approach type', all differentiated according to innovation diffusion type, were analyzed. Following Choi & Choe(2008), immediacy, accessibility, referability, applicability, and satisfaction were the highest in the situational reaction diffusion type, systematic approach type, formal extension type, and farmers connection type, in the order. And there existed organic contexts among individual characteristics. So this study tried to analyze strengths and weaknesses of innovation diffusion type with a focus on immediacy, which emerged as the most important variable in the process of interpreting innovation diffusion. And the strengths and weaknesses of each innovation diffusion type were presented.

In this paper, we propose a method which implements warning to drivers through real-time analysis of risky and unexpected driver and vehicle behavior using only a smartphone without using data from digital tachograph and vehicle internal sensors. We performed the evaluation of our system that demonstrates the effectiveness and usefulness of our method for risky and unexpected driver and vehicle behavior using three information such as vehicle speed, azimuth and GPS data which are acquired from a smartphone sensors. We confirmed the results and developed the smartphone application for validate and conducted simulation using actual driving data. This novel functionality of the smartphone application enhances drivers' situational awareness, increasing safety and effectiveness of driving.

In an attempt to identify highly probable causes of poor EFL performances, certain intriguing data of 11 common errors collected from 23 university students' listening and reading for correction of a short conversation of three people, with a questionnaire regarding their knowledge of the situational context, were analysed and interpreted within a theoretical framework of consciousness and the intonation unit (Chafe 1974, 1980, 1994), compatible with some important philosophical and psychological theories. The results: situational understanding does not always guarantee good EFL performances; the 11 errors were not attributable to hearing problems; consciousness appropriate for literacy and formal schooling appeared to be the major cause, which was inappropriate for a communicative use of English. Re-shaping of consciousness was suggested, with a warning against the ‘grammar consciousness raising’ approach.

This paper throws light on how ERP evolved, what makes up an ERP system and what it has to offer to the industries. The paper includes the role of ERP, perception of ERP value, ERP plan and direction. The author also argues checkpoints as a preview to ERP introduction.

This is a Phenomenological study to describe the experience of nursing students on blind persons. Report and individual interviews were conducted on subjective experience of 5 nursing students. Data were analyzed through Giorgi's method in which meaningful statements. The results were from significant statements on reports and interview. These were clustered into 17 theme and 4 central meaning. Nursing Students started practice with prejudice, fear, and expectation at the same time. They also experienced complicated feelings (expansion of consciousness, growth of self, expansion of emotion, true presence)for the blind person. Make a situational structural description from theme and central meaning. Make a general structural description from situational structural description.

Although the study of OCB has increased greatly in recent years, a little works have focused on the relationship between leadership and extrarole behavior, and the moderating effects of the situational factors on the relationship between two factors. For the analytical purpose of this article, Fisher＇s Z-transformation and SGC(split groups correlations) methods were introduced. Generally 2 leadership styles are found to have influenced on altruism and conscientiousness respectively. Out of 36 cases, only 2 cases were significant in moderating effects. Based on empirical results, there is no moderating effects in conscientiousness. But altruism is found to be more closely related with employee-centered leadership in low centralized group than in high centralized group, and more closely related with job-centered leadership in low growth-needs group than in high growth-needs group.

This study investigates 55 preservice secondary mathematics teachers' situational understanding of functional relationship. Functional thinking is fundamental and useful because it develops students' quantitative thinking about the world and analytical thinking about complex situations through examination of the relations between interdependent factors. Functional thinking is indispensable for understanding natural phenomena, for investigation by science, and for the technological inventions in engineering and navigation. Therefore, it goes without saying that teachers should be able to represent and communicate about various functional situations in the course of teaching and learning functional relationships to develop students' functional thinking. The result of this study illustrates that many preservice teachers were not able to appropriately represent and communicate about various functional situations. Additionally, it shows that most preservice teachers have limited understanding of the value of teaching function.

상황인지 기술은 사용자 주변의 정보를 이용하여 사용자의 현재 상황을 판단하는 기술로써 사용자의 요청 없이 최적화된 시점에 서비스를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 이러한 상황인지 기술은 일반적으로 별도의 추론 과정을 거쳐 응용 서비스에 적용된다. 본 논문에서는 서비스를 제공하기 위한 상황정보 비교 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 상황인지 워크플로우 언어로 표현한 상황정보와 센서로부터 발생한 컨텍스트에 바탕을 둔 상황정보를 비교한다. 이를 통해 사용자 주변의 상황을 판단할 수 있으며 적합한 응용 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 실험에서는 RDF 기반의 고수준 상황정보를 포함하고 있는 제약조건 테이블을 이용하여 상황정보의 비교 과정을 보인다.
