수목장의 동기와 수목장지 선호조건에 대한 요인 분석 (Factor Analysis on Citizen's Motives to Tree Burial and Choice Conditions to Tree Burial Site)

  • 본 연구는 수목장의 바람직한 정착을 위한 정책방향을 제언하기 위하여 수목장의 동기와 수목장지의 선호조건에 대한 요인분석을 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 전국의 장례식장 이용자 522명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 설문결과 수목장의 동기로는 나무를 통한 추모, 간소함, 추모지 확보 용이성, 친환경성, 후손 배려가 요인 추출되었으며 수목장지의 선호조건으로는 자연경관미, 추모지 정서, 편리성, 안정감, 경제성이 추출되었다. 요인분석 결과를 바탕으로 수목장의 동기와 관련하여 다양한 형태의 수목장지 개발, 수목장에 맞는 장묘절차 개발, 공공복지서비스로서 수목장 보급, 다수 장묘가 가능한 수목장 방식 개발, 수목장지 관리의 전문성 향상을 제언하였다. 수목장지의 선호조건과 관련하여 자연미 있는 숲의 조성, 기존 묘지의 수목장지 전환, 접근성이 좋은 곳에 입지 선정, 휴식과 추모를 함께 할 수 있는 공간으로 조성, 수목장지 이용 가격의 저렴화를 제언하였다.

김천 작점고개 백두대간 마루금 복원사업지 내 식재수목의 생육 장애 요인에 관한 연구 (A Case Study on the Factors of Obstacles to Growth of Planted Trees in the Gimcheon Jakjumgogae of Baekdudaegan Ecological Axis Restoration Site)

  • 본 연구는 백두대간 생태축 복원사업지에서의 수목 생육 장애 요인을 평가하기 위해서 토양 및 미기상 환경모니터링을 실시했다. 그 결과 복원 사업지에서는 주변 산림과 비교하여 토양의 유기물, 전질소 및 양이온치환용량이 부족하여 양분 공급이 결핍된 것으로 나타났다. 복원사업 준공 직후인 가을철 토양수분은 복원사업지가 주변 임내와 비교하여 7배 이상 빠르게 감소했으며, 미사질과 점토 함량 부족으로 인해 보습력이 매우 낮은 것으로 평가되었다. 복원 사업지의 경우 주변 임내와 비교하여 연간 잠재증발산량이 약 2배 높은 975mm로 분석되었다. 복원사업지의 여름철 토양 수분은 일사량이 증가하는 낮 시간대에 급격하게 감소하는데 이는 잠재증발산량 증가의 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 수목 생육 장애 요인을 개선하기 위해서는 낙엽, 부엽토, 토양개량제, 유기질 비료 시비 등을 활용하여 보습력 증진 등 물리성 개량과 양이온치환능을 증가시켜 식물에게 원활한 양분 공급이 이루어질 수 있도록 유도해야할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 생태축 복원사업의 설계와 시공 및 관리방안 수립의 기초 자료가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

남산에서 세포성 점균의 출현과 분포 (Occurrence and Distribution of Cellular Slime Molds in Mt. Nam)

  • In this study, the occurrence and distribution of dictyostelid cellular slime molds was investigted from soils of typical forests in Mt. Nam and the effect of soil environmental factor on cellular slime molds was investigated. The fourteen species including two undescribed species were isolated as follows: Dictyostelium brefeldianum, Polysphondylium pallidum, P. violaceum, P. pseudo-candidum in Quercus mongolica-Sorbus alnifolia forests, D. purpureum, D. mucoroides var. stoloniferum, D. dimigraformum, D. brefeldiamum, P. pallidum, P. tenuissimum, P. violoceum, P. candidum, P. pseudo-candidum in Pinus densiflora forests, D. polycephahum, D. capitatum, d. brefeldianun, P. candidum in Robinia pseudo-acacia forests, D. purpureum, D. aureostipes var, aureostipes, D. polycephalum in Quercus acutissima forests, D. minutum, D. implicatum. in the site disturbed by human. The dominant species were P. pallidum, D. brefeldiamum, P. pseudo-candidum and D. dimigraformum were the undescribed species in Korea. Environmental factors such as soil pH, water content, organic content, total nitrogen and total phosphorus made a little effect on total species number, the number of clones.

  • Until now, the eco-friendly construction (green construction) has been focused on reducing environmental impacts in use(operation and maintenance) phase. Considering the environmental influence along the life cycle of construction project, the impact in execution phase is rather lower than that in use phase. However, that impact is thought to be greatly decreased by well-organized activities. Based on its urgency and requirement for timely action, this study aimed to discuss the greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction plan in execution phase from a broad perspective. To achieve this purpose, the green building rating systems in domestic and foreign countries have been reviewed, and the practice in Japan was investigated. In order to improve current on-site greenhouse gas management, the integration among construction phases, participants, and environmental factors, and institutional supports are required as well as the contractor's efforts.

국내 광대역 지진관측소의 부지증폭 특성 (Characteristics of Site Amplification of the Broad-band Seismic Stations in Korea)

  • 지진원 상수의 정밀한 결정과 지진재해의 예측에 있어서 결정적인 요인의 하나는 부지증폭 특성에 관한 상세한 정보이다. 한반도 광대역 지진관측소의 부지증폭 특성이 0.2-20 Hz 범위 내에서 주파수의 함수로 추정되었다. 한반도 남부에서 2003년부터 2008년까지 관측된 43개의 지진에 대한 총 1275개의 지진기록이 사용되었다. 지진동 모델의 역산으로부터 추정된 28개소의 관측소에 대한 부지증폭비는 수직대 수평(H/V) 스펙트럼비로부터 얻어진 증폭비와 몇몇 관측소를 제외하고는 대체로 그 값이 일치하는 것이 발견되었다. 이 연구에서 얻어진 주파수별 부지증폭 특성은 어떤 뚜렷한 공간분포를 보이지 않았다. 또한 부지증폭 특성은 기반암 종류보다는 풍화의 정도와 크게 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 주파수별 부지증폭비를 참조하여 28개소의 광대역 관측소를 4개의 그룹으로 나누었고, 그룹별 특징에 대하여 본문에 서술하였다.

공업지역 대기 중 입자에 함유된 미량금속의 화학종별 분석 (Chemical Speciation of Trace Metals in Airborne Particles at An Industrialized Site)

  • Airborne particles collected from a heavily industrialized site were analyzed by chemical speciation of seven trace metals: Pb, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Zn, and As. The average concentrations were as follows: $Zn,\;502.0{\pm}230.7;\;Pb,\;176.5{\pm}310.9;\;Cu,\;111.9{\pm}82.7;\;As,\;38.0{\pm}31.0;\;Cr,\;21.5{\pm}24.4;\;Cd,\;20.8{\pm}17.4;\;and\;Ni,\;11.4{\pm}8.4\;ng/m^3$. The median enrichment factor (EF) values of Cd (7,280), As (1,030), Cu (215), Zn (214), and Pb (143), with respect to iron, were much larger than 100. We observed that Cd was found in the soluble and exchange- able form (56.9%), and that Pb and Cr were found in carbonates, oxides and the reducible form (69.8% and 61.1%, respectively). These two forms, which are the most easily absorbed into human body tissue, predominated in most of the trace metals investigated in this study.

터빈유량계를 이용한 유량 측정 시스템의 최적 설계 (Optimal Design of Flow Measurement System Using Turbine Flowmeter)

  • 터빈유량계(Turbine flowmeter)는 유량 측정시 높은 정확도와 반복성을 위해 선택되지만 교정시의 표준 환경 조건과 현장에서의 환경 조건 차이로 다양한 측정 불확도 요인을 발생시킨다. 또한 교정된 측정값 외의 구간에서의 사용을 위해 신뢰성 높은 보간 기법(Interpolation method)이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 유량 측정(Flow measurement) 신뢰성 향상을 위해 터빈유량계의 출력 신호의 정확한 측정과 교정된 결과값의 보간, 온도변화를 실시간 보정(correction)하는 장비를 설계 및 제작하고 성능 검증을 수행함으로 현장에서의 측정 신뢰도를 확보하였다.

Spatio-temporal Variation of Intertidal Microphytobenthos in the Nakdong Estuary

  • The species composition and the biomass of intertidal microphytobenthos (MPB) were investigated at four sites in the Nakdong Estuary from Feb. to Dec. 2006. The chlorophyll (chl) ${\alpha}$ concentration showed a positive correlation with MPB abundance, and depth profiles showed similar patterns: high at the surface, rapidly decreasing within 4 cm from the surface, and slowly decreasing thereafter. A MANOVA analysis revealed that the chl ${\alpha}$ concentration varied significantly not only with depth, month, and site, but also with combinations of these factors. Among the four investigated sites, site D (Baekhabdeung) showed a seasonal biomass variation trend distinct from those of the other sites: higher in summer, decreased in autumn and with sustained low values until winter. As indicated, the other sites contrastingly showed low biomasses in summer, after which the biomasses continuously increased, with some variation among the sites. A cluster analysis of species composition indicated that sites near to each other and with similar sediment structures had closer similarities in the same seasons. The species of genus Amphora and Navicula were dominant at the four sites throughout the study period.

유기성 폐기물 자원화 시설에서 발생되는 부유 세균의 분포 특성 (Distribution Characteristics of Airborne Bacteria in Organic-Waste Resource Facilities)

  • Objectives: Bioaerosols released by treating organic-waste resources cause a variety of environmental and hygiene problems. The objective of this study was to investigate the distribution characteristics of the airborne bacteria emitted from a pig manure composting plant, a principal site for organic-waste resource facilities. Methods: Three types of pig manure composting plant were selected based on fermentation mode: screw type, rotary type and natural-dry type. Each site was visited and investigated on a monthly basis between September 2009 and August 2010. A total of 36 air samplings were obtained from the pig manure composting plants. The air sampling equipment was a six-stage cascade impactor. Quantification and qualification of airborne bacteria in the air samples was performed by agar culture method and identification technique, respectively. Results: The mean concentrations of airborne bacteria in pig manure composting plant were 7,032 (${\pm}1,496$) CFU $m^{-3}$ for screw type, 3,309 (${\pm}1,320$) CFU $m^{-3}$ for rotary type, and 5,580 (${\pm}1,106$) CFU $m^{-3}$ for natural dry type. The screw type pig manure composting plant showed the highest concentration of airborne bacteria, followed by the natural dry type and the rotary type. The ratio of respirable to total airborne bacteria was approximately 40-60%. The predominant genera of airborne bacteria identified were Micrococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp. and Escherichia spp. Conclusion: Monthly levels of airborne bacteria were highest in August and lowest in November regardless of fermentation mode. There was no significant correlation relationship between airborne bacteria and environmental factors such as temperature, relative humidity and particulate matters in pig manure composting plants.

강우 및 유입 하천수가 팔당호 수질에 미치는 영향분석 (A Study on the Water Quality Affected by the Rainfall and Influent Rivers in Paldang Reservoir, Korea)

  • This paper aimed to compare the daily water quality as well as the hydrological data gathered for the past two years (2000 to 2001) between the two influent rivers of Paldang reservoir. The analysis also has been carried out to draw out the factors that affect the water quality at the dam site, where the main drinking water drawing point is located. The relationship between total amount of monthly rainfall and monthly inflow showed $r^2=0.74$ (p<0.05). The highest peak of inflow of influent rivers recorded in August and September (in the year of 2000) and July and August (2001). Average inflows of influent rivers in 2000 and 2001 are calculated at 209.0, 161.5 CMS (Bughangang), 268.6, 148.2 CMS(Namhangang), and 7.8, 5.0 CMS (Gyeongancheon). The formula which was driven from the relationship between inflow and COD load of influent rivers, explained that COD concentration in general increased with the inflow. But during the rainy seasons (July, August, and September), COD concentration decreased according to the increase of inflow. The daily rainfall and COD concentration(or load) during the rainy season (August and September in the year of 2000, July and August in 2001) indicated that the peak of COD load correspond with the rainfall, which decreased sharply after 3 or 4 days. The reason was thought that the high COD load was diluted rapidly by the rain flow. Water temperature, pH and conductivity measured at dam site decreased obviously when the inflow sharply increased. Peak period of total phosphorus concentration coincided with that of inflow. In rainy season, chlorophyll-a concentration decreased obviously as the inflow increased. The reason can be ascribed to the flushing effect caused by the operation of floodgate.
