광릉삼림의 생태학적 연구 낙엽송의 Site Index와 임상식생에 관하여 (Ecological Studies on Several Forest Communities in Kwangnung. A Study of the Site Index and the ground vegetation of Larch)

  • In order to determine the factors related to site quality, 13 areas of Larch growing in the Kwangung and its vicinity forest as sample plots, were examined. Sample plots included various site classes as well as age classes. Three were divided into two groups (major and minor trees). Average height of dominant trees was determined through messurement of 5 to 6 dominant tree in each sample plots. Average height of dominant 30 year-old trees was the basis for site index. A Standard Yield Table for the larch produced in Kwangnung forest was made by various data, which included age class 5, ranging from 10 to 45 years. The relationship of the height of the trees, the site conditions, and ground vegetation are investigated in this paper. The site indexes of 40 forest class age in 28-B and 28-G forest classes of the larch associations for ground vegetation had comparatively rarge differences due to the sampled areas. The relation of the direction of forest communities to the height and the diameter of the tree shwoed that its communiteis of northest and northwest parts appeared higher valueof the height and the diameter. The diameter and the height of trees were closely realted to each other. The samller the occupied area per tree and the smaller the average distance among trees, the more density was increased. The larger the density was the lower height of the trees. In the ground vegetation of the larch communities, there seems to be a definite correlation between the height of trees and the occupied area per tree or the average distance among the trees. The height of trees and site index of two larch communities were as follow: 28-B forest class site index 20.8, height 24.0m, 28-G forest class site index 18.4, height 20.9m. The ground layer was analyzed by the method of Quadrat(20/20sq. cm) with an interval of 1M. It set up 40 Quadrats of the larch communiteis. The community structure of the ground vegetation of two larch was analyzed, and important value was calculated and then evaluated. The ground vegetation under the larch had developed Burmannii Beauv stratal society below the 28-B and 28-G the forest class. Accordingly, the first important value of Burmannii Beauv was found in two ground vegetation below the larch. Therefore, this species could be quantitatively considered as the forest indicator species. Common species of each community appeared 18 species out of 34 species in the ground vegetation under two larch communities. The ground vegetation of the 28-B forest class showed more than that of the 28-G forest class. the similarity of the ground vegetation was measrued by the Frequency Index Community Coefficient. The differences between the associations were lcearly manifested by the ground vegetation tested by Gleason's Frequency Index of Community Coefficient for the analysis of each stratal society of all associations. According to F.I.C.C. the ground vegetation under two larch(28-B and 28-G) forest classes showed higher value. An investigation into the relationship of physical and chemical properties of soil and site was considered the next step to be taken in the study of the larch site classification.

  • In prestressed concrete structures, determining serviceability and safety it is important to exactly calculate effective prestress force acting on structures. for the determination of effective prestress force, friction loss of the prestressing tendon should be decided exactly, but it is very difficult to measure the exact prestress force on the site and there is no actual field data. Therefore the friction loss coefficient recommended by the specification is not verified. in this paper, the friction loss standard PSC-Beam will be investigated, and is will be found what kind of relationship between the specification and the site. The results from this study can be summarized as follows. For jacking at both ends, actual intial prestress force in the center section of PCS-Beam was about 1.61% larger than theoretical initial prestress force and for hacking at one end, actual initial prestress force was approximate 4.9% lower than theoretical initial prestress force. Thus, for the exact calculation of friction loss, friction coefficient should be modified according to jacking methods.

  • 주변 관측지점의 자료가 유용한 경우 관측자료가 짧은 지점의 평균과 분산 추정치를 개선하기 위하여 상관계수를 이용한 수문자료 확충을 이용하여왔다. 본 연구에서는 관측지점의 분산 추정치를 개선하기 위한 다중 상관계수의 한계최소치를 얻기 위하여, 다변량 정규분포에 근거하여 Moran이 유도한 확충자료 분산( ${{\sigma}_v}^2$ )의 불편 최우도추정량의 분산식을 Matalas와 Jacobs가 2변량 정규분포에 근거하여 유도한 식의 형태로 변형하였으며, 다양한 자료수와 지점수에 따라 다중상관계수의 한계최소치를 도표화했다.

MCP방법을 이용한 장기간 풍속 및 풍력에너지 변동 특성 분석 (Variability Characteristics Analysis of the Long-term Wind and Wind Energy Using the MCP Method)

  • Wind resource data of short-term period has to be corrected a long-term period by using MCP method that Is a statistical method to predict the long-term wind resource at target site data with a reference site data. Because the field measurement for wind assessment is limited to a short period by various constraints. In this study, 2 different MCP methods such as Linear regression and Matrix method were chosen to compare the predictive accuracy between the methods. Finally long-term wind speed, wind power density and capacity factor at the target site for 20 years were estimated for the variability of wind and wind energy. As a result, for 20 years annual average wind speed, Yellow sea off shore wind farm was estimated to have 4.29% for coefficient of variation, CV, and -9.57%~9.53% for range of variation, RV. It was predicted that the annual wind speed at Yellow sea offshore wind farm varied within ${\pm}10%$.

무강우시 합류식 하수관거의 오염부하 특성 (Characteristics of Pollution Loads from the Combined Sewer during Dry Season)

  • We have examined the pollutant load of combined sewer in dry days. Two monitoring sites (C-1, C-2) were equipped with an flowmeter. Monitoring was conducted from September 2004 to April 2006 for 20 months during dry days. Flowrate and concentration of pollutants are lowest from 3 to 6 o'clock, and it is high at 9, 12 and 21 o'clock. Most of organic matters exist in the dissolved state. The results show that pollution loads in C-2 area were 4.5-7.2 times higher than in C-1. Pollutant loads were high on Saturdays. Pollutant loads (kg/ha/day) of C-2 were 1.1-3.1 times higher those of C-1. However there was no significant difference in winter. Analysis of correlation coefficient of water quality parameter indicates that besides of flowrate all items in C-1 site have tight relationship respectively (p<0.01). In C-2 site, correlation coefficient of TP-SS, TP-TN, TP-flowrate, BOD-flowrate, BOD-SS and TN-TP are statistically significant (p<0.01).

말뚝기초의 동적실험결과를 사용한 아파트 골조의 경제성 비교분석 (Comparative Study on the Quantity Economic Analysis of Apartment Frames Using SDS Result of Dynamic Centrifuge Test at Pile Foundation)

  • 현재, 국내의 내진설계기준에서 제시하고 있는 지반분류 방법과 지반 증폭계수는 깊은 기반암 조건의 미국 서부 해안지역 지반에 적합하도록 제시되어 있으므로 기반암이 약 30m 미만인 우리나라와는 다른 동적 거동을 나타낸다. 선행연구에 의하면, 말뚝 기초에 대한 원심모형 실험결과와 동적 지진 해석결과는 우리나라에서 사용하고 있는 설계스펙트럼의 가속도 값보다 주기 1.5초 부근에서는 낮게 나타나고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 원심모형 실험결과에서 얻어진 설계스펙트럼 가속도를 사용하여 구조해석을 수행하고 기존의 설계기준과 대비하여 철근 및 콘크리트의 물량 등을 상호 비교하여 아파트 골조공사의 경제성을 비교, 검토하였다. KBC-2009 기준의 Sc 지반과 SD 지반을 사용하여 구조해석 및 내진설계를 수행하고, SD에 해당하는 지반의 동적 지진 실험결과의 스펙트럼가속도(SDS)를 사용하여 구조해석 및 내진설계를 수행하여 상호 비교 고찰한 결과, 지반의 종류 SD 지반에 해당하는 연약지반의 경우라도 동적 실험 및 해석을 수행하여 지반의 스펙트럼 가속도를 산정하여 구조해석에 적용할 경우 Sc 지반과 유사한 정도의 철근 물량 값을 얻을 수 있었고, 이것은 당초 연약지반으로 고려되던 SD 지반으로 설계하는 경우에 비하여 17~23% 정도의 물량을 절감할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

피에조 콘 관입시험결과에 따른 구속탄성계수, 압밀계수 산정에 관한 연구 (The Estimation of the Constrained Modulus and the Coefficient of Consolidation from the Piezocone Penetration Test Data)

  • 본 연구는 연약지반의 압밀특성을 나타내는 정수중 하나인 압밀계수($C_v$)를 결정하는데 있어 피에조 콘 관입시험(PCPT)결과의 적용성을 평가하고자 양산-물금지역의 연약지반에서 실시된 피에조 콘 관입시험 자료와 같은 지역 44개소에서 시추한 심도별로 총 172개 자연시료를 사용하여 기본적인 실내토질시험(압밀시험, Atterberg 한계시험, 입도분포시험 등)을 실시하였다. 각 시료의 압밀시험결과를 사용하여 Terzaghi(1943) 압밀 이론으로 구한 구속탄성계수(M) 및 압밀계수($C_v$)를 각 시료에 상응하는 현장 흙에서 실시한 피에조 콘 관입시험(PCPT) 결과로 구한 구속탄성계수 및 압밀계수와 비교분석하였다. 압밀시험으로 구한 구속탄성계수는 피에조 콘 관입시험으로 구한 구속탄성계수와 높은 상관성을 보였고 Jones & Rust(1995)가 제안한 경험식으로 계산된 구속탄성계수가 본 연구에서 피에조 콘 관입시험으로 구한 구속탄성계수와 유사한 값을 보였다. 압밀시험으로 구한 압밀계수와 콘 관입시험 결과로 구한 압밀계수는 직선적 관계를 보였고 콘 관입시험 결과로 구한 압밀계수 값은 압밀시험으로 구한 압밀계수 값의 54%정도로 나타났다.

A Study on Correlations for Void Ratio, Coefficient of Uniformity and Coefficient of Curvature for Determination of Relative Density for Sands

  • Determination of geotechnical characteristics of soil is either to use the field samples to measure the characteristics of soil through laboratory test or measuring the characteristics directly in the field. Field test can be derived similar value by considering characteristics of site and laboratory test can be confirmed the characteristic of soil by testing with field samples. This article describes relative density as the measure of compaction for cohesionless soils and presents several simple and mathematical relationships to help engineers estimate needed parameters for relative density calculations. The main purpose of this research is to investigate possible correlations between coefficient of uniformity, coefficient of curvature, maximum and minimum void ratio, mean grain size. Results show a linear relationship between the minimum and maximum void ratios and a power function relationship between coefficient of uniformity and the limiting void ratios. Void ratio range, which is the difference between the maximum and minimum void ratios, appeared to be log normally distributed but showed no simple mathematical fit to the data. these results were shown to help engineers estimate needed parameters for relative density calculations.

  • The dielectric properties at microwave frequencies of B site complex perovskite La(Zn1/2Ti1/2)O3 which has +3 ion in A site were investigated. maximum Q*F value of the specimens was 59000 dielectric constant 34, temperature coefficient of resonant frequency -52 ppm/$^{\circ}C$. XRD pattern of the sintered specimen shows (111) ssuperlattice reflection which indicates Zn and Ti cation ordering.

  • This study was carried out to investigate the relationship between soil mites(Acarina:Cryptostigmata) and vegetation in sampled area. From July 1984 to June 1985, samples were taken monthly from coniferous forests; a pinenut (Pinus koraiensis S. et Z.) forest (site C-1), a whitepine(Pinus strobus L.) forest (site C-2), a needle fir tree(Abies holophyla Max.) forest (site C-3), and three broad-leaved forests; site B-1, B-2, and B-3 in Cholanamdo province, southerm part of Korea. Vascular plants of 152 species belonging to 115 genera (53 families) were identified. The flora in the coniferous forests were more diverse than in the broad-leaved forest. Similarity coefficient to the flora was shown highly between the neighbouring sites. The oribatid species in the coniferous forests were more diverse than those in the broadleaved forests. The similarity index suggested that oribatid mites in those surveying sites could be divided into "coniferous forest type" and "broad-leaved forest type".d forest type".uot;.
