The purposes of this study were to find the general trends and differences factors influencing single mothers' psychological well-being, and, analyze the effects of family, and social variables on their psychological well-being. The subjects were the 284 single mothers living in Kwangju and Chonnam. The data were analyzed with frequency, t, F, and Pearson's r test, and by multiple regression using SPSS. The major findings were as follows: 1. Single mothers' family variables were lower than the median, but instrumental support was higher than emotional support. Single mothers' psychological well-being was found to be around that of the median value. 2. Single mothers' psychological well-being was significantly different from family stress, family resources, mother-child conflicts, income, emotional support, participation of education program, and institutional support. 3. Life satisfaction of single mothers was influenced by institutional support, family stress, family resources, and emotional support. Depression among single mothers was influenced by family stress, family resources, mother-child conflicts, and institutional and emotional support.

Inthis apper wa analyzed the channel-hot-electron programming characteristics of the single-poly EEPROM with different control gate and drain structures. The single-poly EEPROM uses the p$^{+}$/n$^{+}$-diffusion in the n-well as a control gate instead of the second poly-silicon. The program and erase characteristics of the single-poly EEPROM were verified using the two-dimensional device simulator, MEDICI. The single-poly EEPROM was fabricated using 0.8$\mu$m ASIC CMOS process, and its CHE programming characteristics were measured using HP4155 parameteric analyzer and HP8110 pulse gnerator. Especially we investigated the CHE programming characteristics of the single-poly EEPROM with the p$^{+}$-diffusion or n$^{+}$-diffusion in the n-well as a control gate and the LDD or single-drain structure. The single-poly EEPROM with p$^{+}$-diffusion in the n-well as a control gate and single-drain structure was programmed to about VT$\thickapprox$5V with VDS=6V, VCG=12V(1ms pulse width).th).

The purposes of this study were to find the general trends of single mothers' and adoescents' family resources stress perceptions coping and psychological well-being to examine the differences and correlations among single mothers' and their adolescents' variables and to analyze the effects of socio-demographic variables and family stress influencing psychological well-being. The subjects were the 568 single mothers and their adolescents living in Kwangju. The major findings were as follows; 1. Scores of single mothers' and their adolescents' family resources stress perceptions were lower than median but their stressors problem solving-focused coping life satisfaction and depression were higher than median. Single mothers' stressors coping stress perceptions were significantly higher than their adolescents' 2. This study focused on the coping behavior and perceived economic well-being of the housing-subsidized single-mother family. The major findings were as follows: 1. Single mothers who had higher level of income, education, and self-esteem tended to have better coping behaviors. 2. Internally oriented single mothers had better coping behaviors. 3. Single mothers who had high level of income, job satisfaction, and social support perceived their income more adequately. 4. Single mothers who were satisfied with job, social support and child relationship reported a high level of economic satisfaction. 5. Single mothers who had high score in coping behavior tended to have a high level of perceived economic well-being.

The purposes of this article were to find the general trends of single mothers' stressor, self-esteem, family resources, coping, stress and psychological well-being, and to test a causal model of family resources, coping and stress influencing on psychological well-being. The data were analyzed from the 283 single mothers living in Kwang-ju. The major findings were as follows; 1. Scores of single mothers' stress, family resources were lower than median. But scores of single mothers' stressor, self-esteem, coping, life satisfaction and depression were higher than median. Their problem-focused coping scores were higher than emotion-focused coping. 2. Single mothers' life satisfaction were directly affected by self-esteem, family resources, problem-focused coping and stress, and were indirectly affected by stressor, emotion-focused coping. Single mothers' depression were directly influenced by self-esteem, family resources, emotion-focused coping, problem-focused coping and stress, and were indirectly influenced by stressor.

Well-aligned nanowire arrays can be used as building blocks for nanoscale device. Recently, we reported that well-aligned single-crystal organic nanowires has been created by using a direct printing method which is named liquid-bridge mediated nanotransfer molding (LB-nTM). Moreover, multi-layering nanostructures can be fabricated by repeating this printing process. As a result, it is possible to make simple and basic concept of heterojunction devices such as crossed nanowire devices. We fabricated crossed single-crystal organic nanowires nanojunction devices from 6,13-bis (triisopropylsilylethynyl) pentacene (TIPS-PEN) and fullerene (C60) single-crystal nanowires using by direct printing method in solution process. Crossed TIPSPEN/ C60 single-crystal nanowires diode has rectifying behavior with on/off ratios of ~13. In addition, the device shows photodiode characteristics as well as rectification. Our study represent methodology of heterojunction devices using single-crystal nanowires, thereby provide a new direction of future nanoelectronics.

The purpose of this study is to explore the general trends and the correlations of parent-child conflicts, copings, and psychological well-being of single mothers and their children, and to analyze the variables explaining relationships between single mothers and their children. The subjects were 196 dyads of single mothers and their children who reside in Gwangju city and Jeonnam area. The data were analyzed with frequency, t-Test, Pearsons' r, and multiple regression by SPSS. The major findings are as follows: 1. Scores of single mothers and their children had conflicts and emotion-focused copings lower than median. Another scores of single mothers and their children had significantly higher problem solving focused copings and emotion-focused copings than their children except life satisfaction; 2. Conflicts, copings, life satisfaction, and depression of a single mother were positively related to those of children; 3. Life satisfaction of single mothers depends on the reason for spouse-loss, their own education background, and problem solving-focused copings. Also, that of children depends on problem solving-focused copings, mother-child conflicts, and the mothers' education. Depression of single mothers is dependent upon mother-child conflicts, emotion-focused copings, and mothers' education. Also, that of children is upon mother-child conflicts, emotion-focused copings, mothers' education, and problem solving-focused copings.

The purposes of this article were to find the general trends of single mothers and their children's stress family resources and coping to estimate the correlation among variables and to analyze the effects of related variables family resources influencing coping and stress. The data were analyzed from the 566 single mothers and their children living in Kwang-ju. The major findings were as follow; 1. Scores of single mothers' and their children's stress family resources were lower than median. But scores of single mothers' coping were higher than median. Their problem-solving coping were higher than emotional coping. 2. Widowed single mothers' stress were related to family resources and emotional coping. Divorced single mothers' stress were related to emotional coping. Children's stress were related to emotional coping. Single mother's stress coping were related to stress of children. 3. Single mothers' coping were influenced by financial well-being family strength I and family strength II. Children's coping were influenced by number of friend. Single mothers' stress were influenced by education financial well-being. Children's stress were influenced by their mothers' education friendship satisfaction and school achievement satisfaction.

This study was conducted to analyze the economic well-being of the elderly households based on the housing ownership and the housing costs, with the comparison between the coupled elderly and the single elderly. The results of this study were as follows: the household type was related to the housing ownership, showing that the single elderly households owned the housing less than the coupled elderly did. There was a difference in housing costs between the single elderly and the coupled elderly, showing the single elderly households had higher housing costs than the coupled elderly households. The housing ownership was significantly related, but the housing costs negatively related to the economic well-being of the elderly.
