The feature of resolution enhancement by derivative operation is linked to one of the multivariate analysis, which is multiple linear regression with two options, all possible and stepwise regression. Examined samples were synthetic mixtures of 5 vitamins, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin phosphate, nicotinamide, pyridoxine hydrochloride and ascorbic acid. All components in mixture were quantified with reasonably good accuracy and precision. Whole data processing procedure was accomplished on-line by the development of three computer programs written in APPLESOFT BASIC language.

Many designed experiments require the simultaneous optimization of multiple responses. In this paper, we propose how to simultaneously optimize multiple responses for robust design when data are collected from a combined array. The proposed method is based on the quadratic loss function. An example is illustrated to show the proposed method.

For two-dimensional causal spatial autoregressive processes, we propose and illustrate a method for determining asymptotic simultaneous confidence regions using Yule-Walker, unbiased Yule-Walker and least squres estimators. The spectral density for first-order spatial autoregressive model are looked at in more detail. Finite sample properties based on simulation study we also presented.

Displacement current $(I_{dis})$ and drain-to-source current $(I_{DS})$ are evaluated using the simultaneous measurements of source $(I_S)$ and drain $(I_D)$ currents during the application of a constant drain voltage and a triangular-wave gate voltage $(V_{GS})$ to top-contact pentacene thin-film transistors.

Photopolymerization and phase separation behavior during the PDLC formation process were investigated by simultaneous resistivity and turbidity measurement. Using this experimental method, we investigated the effect of liquid crystal structure on photopolymerization and phase separation behavior.

This paper presents a new approach to evaluate the maximum number of simultaneous switching gates of a given combinational circuit. The new approach is based on an iterative method proposed by Sinogi et al. and applies a simulated annealing strategy to search jot a new solution. The experimental evaluation using ISCAS’85 benchmark circuits shows that the proposed approach has attained an excellent improvement compared with other rotated methods including the iterative method.

The charged mosaic membranes having cation and anion exchange mixed groups within membrane were researched. The composite charged mosaic membrane was investigated from simultaneous transport such as solute and solvent flux. On the other hand, the reflection coefficient and salt flux coefficient were estimated by taking account of the cross constants of the phenomenological equation.(omitted)

In this paper, we consider the simultaneous estimation problem for the normal means. We set up the model structure using the several different distributions of the errors for observing their effects of model perturbation for the error terms in obtaining the empirical Bayes and hierarchical Bayes estimators. We compare the performance of those estimators under model perturbation based on a simulation study.

We study simultaneous decision making model for a monopolistic or competitive supplier to decide inventory and pricing policies under capacity constraint. Economic implications are obtained from the optimality conditions such as production lot sizes, pricing schedules and so on. Sensitivity analysis gives us the optimal relations among the critical economic quantities.
