  • We previously developed and presented the 3D ion implantation simulation code, TRICSI. In this paper, we performed the multiple implants into (100) silicon substrate with our recently enhanced version. Our results for the multiple implants were compared with the previously published SIMS data and obtained the good agreements. In this paper the channeling behaviour of implanted impurity and the damage accumulation are analyzed and discussed in the simple 3D structure, named the Hole structure which has a rectangular implant window.

Force-finding of Tensegrity Structure using Optimization Technique

  • A simple force-finding process based on an optimization technique is proposed for tensegrity structures. For this purpose, the inverse problem of form-finding process is formulated. Therefore, the position vector of nodes and element connectivity information are provided as priori. Several benchmark tests are carried out to demonstrate the performance of the present force-finding process. In particular, the force density distributions of simplex tensegrity are thoroughly investigated with the important parameters such as the radius, height and twisting angle of simplex tensegrity. Finally, the force density distribution of arch tensegrity is produced by using the present force-finding process for a future reference solution.

  • In this paper, the basic characteristics of flat fluorescent lamp using ultraviolet generate from gas discharge and powder type electrolyminescent display(P-ELD) using a phenomenon of the light emission eaused by the electrical field applied to phosphor are studied.   • This paper proposes a MOS circuit extractor which extracts a netlist from the hierarchical mask information, for the verification tools. To utilize the regularity and the simple representation of the hierarchical circuit, and to reduce the debug cycle of design, verification, and modification, we propose a hierarvhical and incremental circuit extraction algorithm. In flat circuit extraction stage, the multiple storage quad tree is used as an internal data structure. Incremental circuit extraction using the hierarchical structure is made possible, to reduce the re-extraction time of the modified circuit.

  • We have developed highly efficient blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting devices (OLED) with simplified architectures using blue phosphorescent material. The basis device structure of the blue PHOLED was anode / emitting layer (EML) / electron transport layer (ETL) / cathode. The dopant was partially doped into the host layer for investigating recombination zone, current efficiency, and emission characteristics of the blue PHOLEDs.

  • This paper explains the walking robot with 4 legs. One leg is composed of 4 dc server motors and have 4 d.o.f. This walking robot has simple structure using "the principle of lever". The structure of robot models the 4 legs´ animal such as dog. The walking patterns is various and complex. With inspecting the walking dogs, the walking motions implemented by patterns. The center of mass is important of this type robot. The significant issue of walking is weight. As the weight is lighter, so the robot well walks. The method of walking is patterns.

  • In this paper, attitude control of autonomous system using bike based on variable structure control is discussed. Variable structure control is more than a promising technique in the field of nonlinear control. It permits the realization of very robust and simple regulators, with appealing sliding mode characteristics especially if the considered dynamics requires a very short sampling time. We derive dynamic equation of it and demonstrate that the designed controller stabilizes attitude simultaneously regardless of wheel position by computer simulation.

  • This paper deals with test-pattern generation and diagnoses of pattern-sensitive faults in RAM by use of simple pseudorandom M-sequences with an emphasis to built-in structure of these schemes. The problems that may arise during their implementation are discussed and an approach to builtin testing of RAM by such a scheme is given not bothering too much about the silicon area required.

  • Two-way shape memory effect(TWSME) under residual stresses are considered in the present study. The structure using two-way shape memory alloy(SMA) concept returns to its initial shape by increasing or decreasing temperature under the initially given residual stress. In the present study, we use a thermo-mechanical constitutive equation of SMA and laminated composite plates are considered as simple morphing structural components which are based on first order shear deformable laminated composite plate with large deflection. Numerical results of fully coupled SMA-composite structures are presented
