군집분석을 이용한 방목초지 식물군락의 유사성 비교 (Comparison of the Similarity Among the Plant Communities of the Grazing Pasture by the Cluster-Analysis)

  • 방목초지 식물군학에 대한 생태적 특성을 결정하고 군집분석을 이용하여 군락간의 유사성을검정하고자, 1998년 8월부터 10월까지 독일의 중부지역인 Witzenhausen 근교에서 조사한 초지 식물군락을 Kassel 대학교 초지생태 연구소에서 컴퓨터 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 16개 지역의 초지에서 조사한 식생을 군강(Class)으로 분류한 식물군락은 대부분 Molinio-Arrhenatheretea 및 Festuco-Brometea 초지군락 이었으며, 반건조지 식물군락을 제외한 초지 식물군락의 생태적 반응과 사료가는 군락에 따라 다소 차이가 있었으나 조사료 생산에 적당하였다. 식물군락간 정의 상관은 14과 12번 군락이 가장 높았고, 7번과 9번 군락간에는 상관이 없었으며, 반건조지 식물군락은 다른 군락과 부의 상관을 나타내었다. 완전연관법에 의한 군집분석의 유사성 검정 측도는 유클러드 거리계수를 이용하는 것이 좋았으며, 식생구성이 비슷한 군락이 서로 군집을 형성하였다. 유사성이 높은 중소집단은 교란된 식물군락 (16, 15), 반건조지 초지군락 (14, 12, 11, 13), 중상급초지군락 (8, 7, 6) 중하급초지군락 (10, 9, 5), 중급 (4, 3), 상급초지군락 (2, 1) 등 6개 집단으로 분류되었다.

  • 디자인은 섬유패션 산업에서 제품의 경쟁력을 결정짓는 핵심요인이다. 무단복제를 방지하고 독창성을 확인하기 위하여 제시된 디자인의 유사도를 측정하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 딥러닝 기법을 이용하여 섬유 디자인의 이미지로 부터 특징(feature)을 수치화하고, 스피어만 상관계수를 이용하여 유사도를 측정하였다. 유사한 샘플이 실제로 검출되는지 검증하기 위하여 300장의 이미지를 임의로 회전 및 색상을 변경하였다. 유사도 수치가 높은 순으로 Top-3와 Top-5의 결과에 회전을 하거나 색상을 변경한 샘플이 존재하는지 측정하였다. 그 결과, AlexNet 보다 VGG-16 모델이 월등히 높은 성능을 기록하였다. VGG-16 모델의 성능은 회전 이미지의 경우에 유사도 결과값이 높은 Top-3와 Top-5에서 64%, 73.67%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 색상변경의 경우에는 Top-3와 Top-5에서 각각 86.33%, 90%로 가장 높게 나타났다.

증착공정에서의 회전원판 정체점유동에 대한 상사해석 (Similarity analysis of a forced uniform flow impinging on a rotating disk in a vapor deposition process)

  • A theoretical study for a forced uniform flow impinging on a rotating disk, typically involved in Chemical Vapor Deposition(CVD) and Vapor-phase Axial Deposition(VAD) processes, has been carried out. A set of exact solutions for flow and temperature fields are developed by employing a similarity variable obtained from force balance on a control volume near the disk. The solutions depend on the rotating speed of the disk, .omega., and the forced flow speed toward the disk, a. For constant forced flow speed, the overall boundary layer thickness decreases when the rotating speed increases. Approximately 5%, 15%, and 30% decreases of the thickness are obtained for .omega./a = 2, 5, and 10, respectively, compared to the case of .omega./a = 0 (axisymmetric stagnation point flow). For constant rotating disk speed the boundary layer thickness immediately decreases as the forced flow speed increases, compared to the case of .omega./a .rarw. .inf. (induced flow near a rotating disk). Effects of .omega. and a on heat transfer coefficient are studied and explained with the boundary layer characteristics.

셀 생산방식에서 기계-부품 그룹을 형성하는 발견적 해법 (A Heuristic Approach to Machine-Part Grouping Cellular Manufacturing)

  • This paper proposes the heuristic approach for the generalized GT(Group Technology) problem to consider the restrictions which are given the number of cell, maximum number of machines and minimum number of machines. This approach is classified into two stages. In the first stage, we use the similarity coefficient method which is proposed and calculate the similarity values about each pair of all machines and align these values in descending order. If two machines which is selected is possible to link the each other on the edge of machine cell and they don't have zero similarity value, then we assign the machines to the machine cell. In the second stage, it is the course to form part families using proposed grouping efficacy. Finally, machine-part incidence matrix is realigned to block diagonal structure. The results of using the proposed approach are compared to the Modified p-median model.

유역의 상사성을 이용한 Clark 모형의 매개변수 해석 (Analysis of the Clark Model Using the Similarity Characteristics of the Basin)

  • Clark 모형은 홍수수문학에서 널리 이용되는 합성단위유량도 추정을 위한 모형이다. 본 연구에서는 미계측유역에 Clark 모형을 적용하기 위한 매개변수 추정기법을 고안하여 적용하였다. 모형의 시간-면적유하곡선은 해석적인 방법으로 유도하였으며 모형을 무차원화 하였다. 도달시간의 계산을 위하여 지형학적 자기상사성을 이용한 공식을 적용하였으며 저류상수는 유역의 시간특성의 상사성 공식을 이용하여 추정하였다. 제안된 모형의 타당성을 검토하기 위하여 동곡의 실측자료와 모형의 결과를 비교한 결과 비교적 잘 일치되는 경향을 보여주었다.

Newly-designed adaptive non-blind deconvolution with structural similarity index in single-photon emission computed tomography

  • Single-photon emission computed tomography SPECT image reconstruction methods have a significant influence on image quality, with filtered back projection (FBP) and ordered subset expectation maximization (OSEM) being the most commonly used methods. In this study, we proposed newly-designed adaptive non-blind deconvolution with a structural similarity (SSIM) index that can take advantage of the FBP and OSEM image reconstruction methods. After acquiring brain SPECT images, the proposed image was obtained using an algorithm that applied the SSIM metric, defined by predicting the distribution and amount of blurring. As a result of the contrast to noise ratio (CNR) and coefficient of variation evaluation (COV), the resulting image of the proposed algorithm showed a similar trend in spatial resolution to that of FBP, while obtaining values similar to those of OSEM. In addition, we confirmed that the CNR and COV values of the proposed algorithm improved by approximately 1.69 and 1.59 times, respectively, compared with those of the algorithm involving an inappropriate deblurring process. To summarize, we proposed a new type of algorithm that combines the advantages of SPECT image reconstruction techniques and is expected to be applicable in various fields.

Phytosociological Study and Spatial autocorrelation on the Forest Vegetation of Mt. Yeonae at Gijang-gun

  • Mt. Yeonae is at Gijang-gun in Busan and is surrounded by farming lands on three sides. The search for the species composition and dynamics of local communities were studied at Mt. Yeonae of how spatial similarity decays with geographic distance. The index values of Z$\ddot{u}$rich-Montpellier School's phytosociology at the 12 plots was compared to a distribution of similarly using 20 m quadrates at 12 sites. The specific communities were five including Pinus densiflora - Quercus variabilis community. Six species were significant similarity between neighboring sites by using the spatial autocorrelation coefficient, Moran's I. If Mt. Yeonae was destroyed by an artificial action, some spatial correlated species such as P. densiflora and Q. variabilis will be collapsed because of no maintaining the effective population sizes.

  • This study was carried out to investigate the relationship between soil mites(Acarina:Cryptostigmata) and vegetation in sampled area. From July 1984 to June 1985, samples were taken monthly from coniferous forests; a pinenut (Pinus koraiensis S. et Z.) forest (site C-1), a whitepine(Pinus strobus L.) forest (site C-2), a needle fir tree(Abies holophyla Max.) forest (site C-3), and three broad-leaved forests; site B-1, B-2, and B-3 in Cholanamdo province, southerm part of Korea. Vascular plants of 152 species belonging to 115 genera (53 families) were identified. The flora in the coniferous forests were more diverse than in the broad-leaved forest. Similarity coefficient to the flora was shown highly between the neighbouring sites. The oribatid species in the coniferous forests were more diverse than those in the broadleaved forests. The similarity index suggested that oribatid mites in those surveying sites could be divided into "coniferous forest type" and "broad-leaved forest type".d forest type".uot;.

Genetic Variability of Sorghum Charcoal Rot Pathogen (Macrophomina phaseolina) Assessed by Random DNA Markers

  • Genetic diversity among selected isolates of Macrophomina phaseolina, a causal agent of charcoal rot (stalk rot) disease in sorghum was studied using PCR-RAPD markers. A set of ten isolates, from ten different rabi sorghum genotypes representing two traditional sorghum growing situations viz., Dharwad- a transitional high rainfall region and Bijapur- a semi-arid low rainfall region in South India. From a set of 40 random primers tested, amplicon profiles of 15 were reproducible. A total of 149 amplicon levels, with an average of 9.9 bands per primer, were available for analysis, of which 148 were polymorphic (99.3%). It was possible to discriminate all the isolates with any of the 15 primers employed. UPGMA clustering of data indicated that the isolates shared varied levels of genetic similarity within a range of 0.14 to 0.72 similarity coefficient index and it was suggestive that grouping of isolates was not related to sampling location in anyway. A high level of genetic heterogeneity of 0.28 was recorded among the isolates.

  • A set of clustering algorithms with proper weight on the formulation of distance which extend to mixed numeric and multiple binary values is presented. A simple matching and Jaccard coefficients are used to measure similarity between objects for multiple binary attributes. Similarities are converted to dissimilarities between i th and j th objects. The performance of clustering algorithms with balancing weight on different similarity measures is demonstrated. Our experiments show that clustering algorithms with application of proper weight give competitive recovery level when a set of data with mixed numeric and multiple binary attributes is clustered.
