3상 전압인가형 중첩방전 오존발생기의 오존생성 상승효과 (Ozone Generation Synergy Effects of Three-Phase Voltage Apply Type Superposed Discharge Ozonizer)

  • Nowadays, ozone is mainly utilized for water treatment and home equipments. Although the demand for ozone is increasing, the ozone yield of silent discharge type ozonizer is low. Therefore, it is expected to improve the energy efficiency and ozone yield of an ozonizer. In this paper, a new ozone generation system is proposed. The 60[Hz] three-phase voltage is applied to three-phase superposed discharge type ozonizer(3PSDO) which has three electrodes(central, internal and external electrodes). There is no discharge pause time when three-phase voltage is applied due to 120-degree phase difference of applied voltage. The synergy effect of the three-phase superposed discharge type ozonizer is investigated by comparing with the three sort of single-phase discharge type ozonizer(1PDO). So, three-phase superposed discharge type ozonizer is able to obtain high ozone yield, and optimize discharge space, because this can increase the discharge power at low applied voltage.

정수장의 무성방전형 오존발생기 최적활용방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Use of Silent Discharge Type Ozonizer in Purification Plant)

  • There are 5 purification plants with the adopted advanced water purification treatment process in Korea. Annual operating costs were 8,990 million won including purchase cost of oxygen and power usage charges. We need research to optimize, in the future, when considering the direction of domestic water treatment continues to adopt advanced water treatment process. In this paper, calculate the optimal operating costs by injected the oxygen gas, used power cost. approximately 25% of the operating costs can be reduced when injected the ozone gas is 1.0ppm than 2.0ppm, the necessary amount of oxygen is increased then power is lower. so operating costs are decided according to oxygen costs. On the other hand, high ozone concentration 2.0ppm, the necessary power is increased then amount of oxygen is lower. Therefore, in the case of G purification plant, the controlling factor of the input ozone concentration 2ppm, PID control operation by setting the concentration of over 10Wt% is efficient. The installed capacity is the more little the more better when considering on Ozone injection rate in the process of water treatment.

  • Ozone gas is one of the strongest oxidizing and bleaching agents which leave no residues harmful to the global environment. In recent years, the ozone generator has been widely utilized, However, it has been known that a broader application of ozone is hindered primarily because of its low efficiency of generation. Thus, it is more indispensable to improve actual system efficiency of the silent discharge type ozonizer using high frequency inverter. This paper presents a multi level resonant ozone power regulation by association of high frequency transformers and full bridge invert. And proposed resonant inverter system can generate continuous output voltage. can control linearly quantity of ozone gas. This invert that add PWM forms within square forms of output voltage about one level range. The power regulation characteristics and operating performances of silent discharge (SD)type ozone generating tube load driven by this load proposed inverter using FET modules are illustrated from a practical point of view, which can operate under stable conditions of basic level and PWM hybrid control strategy implemented DSP(2406). The effectoveness of propsed invert type ozonizer is proved by experiment results.

  • Recently deep interests and attractions have been paid on the generation of ozone with environment polisy. Especially, which is widely used to remove bad smell and to clear water. This paper presents control and performance of a voltage source IGBT inverter developed for silent corona discharge type ozonizer. And proposed addition circuit for maintain discharge the center of in the airgap. In this paper, schemed equivalent electric circuit of the discharge electrode for simulation. Finally, the effectiveness of this discharge tube character of ozonizer is investigated in the simulation and experimental results.

  • A high efficiency ozone generation using both of a electrode-edge discharge and a dielectric-harrier discharge from a modified silent type ozone generator has been proposed and studied for small scale applications. It is found that the output ozone concentration of the proposed generator depended greatly upon the air gap spacing and the applied power frequency and voltage on the ozone generation. The ozone generator showed higher ozone concentration than the same size of the ceramic type surface ozone generator(Masuda type one). And, it is found that the generator had a potential to be used as an ozone generator for small scale applications.

  • In this paper, We explained the best shape design of electrode for discharge on the water. Electrode with rounding was reduced maximum electric field of over 40% to electrode without rounding for discharge on the water and the best shape of electrode for discharge on the water designed when shape of electrode had a curve radius of over $60^{\circ}$ at electrode's face to electrode's face with minimum distance and a curve radius of under $120^{\circ}$ at electrode's side face to electrode's front face. And When dielectric beads are used between electrodes, the life of electrodes is improved by lower stress of electric field on surface of electrodes.

  • 무성 (유전체 장벽)방전기구의 질소산화물(NOx)제거효율에 대한 화학 반응역학의 전산모사 및 실험적 특성이 비교 조사되었다. 방전 전극구조에 따른 여러 종류의 유전체 장벽 방전기구가 구현되었으며 응용 방전환경 별 질소산화물(NOx)제거특성이 이론적, 실험적으로 고찰되었다. 전산모사 모델링은 유해 배가스에 대한 플라즈마 응용기구의 수학적 근접모델을 기초로 하였고 각 방전광(스트리머) 채널의 주 활성입자 생성에 의한 화학반응 종들의 비균일, 비평형 분포특성을 고려하였다. 모델링 전산모사로 얻어진 질소산화물(NOx) 제거효율은 관찰 실험특성과 오차 허용범위 내의 일치성을 나타내었다.

  • 수표면을 전극으로 사용한 무성방전형 오존발생기를 제안하고 수중의 전도도 변화가 수표면 방전에 미치는 영향을 실험적으로 조사하였다. 수표면 방전에 중요한 영향을 줄 수 있는 요소로 방전공간내의 이온과 수중의 이온 및 극성분자등이 있다. 본 연구에서는 전도도를 변화시켜 수중에 존재하는 이온의 수를 조절함으로써 방전특성을 변화시키고자 하였다. 이를 위해 증류수내에 각각 다른양의 NaCl을 투입함으로써 전도도를 변화시켰고 이때의 전류-전압특성과 오존발생특성을 비교 조사하였다. 결과적으로 순수한 증류수를 사용한 경우보다 NaCl을 투입한 경우 안정된 방전을 발생시킬 수 있었고 투입하는 NaCl의 양을 늘여감에 따라 방전개시전압을 낮출 수 있었다.

  • This paper shows property conversion of water and removing characteristics of Escherichia coli for discharge tube with $ZrO_2$ beads. At the result of the removal characteristic experiments of Escherichia coli using the discharge tube with $ZrO_2$ beads, because the electric field is also increased when input voltage is increased, the removal characteristic of Escherichia coli was appeared relation connection to input voltage. And if a passing number of test water in discharge tube with $ZrO_2$beads is increased, the removal ratio of Escherichia coli is to be increased because passing number of electric field section is increased. And if diameter of $ZrO_2$beads is increased, the removal time of Escherichia coli is to be decreased because dielectric polalization of $ZrO_2$beads. Also, the removal ratio of Escherichia coli of the discharge tube with $ZrO_2$beads. is appeared higher than the removal ratio of the discharge tube without $ZrO_2$beads. And a satulation punt of ozone and $H_2$ $O_2$generation density inner water was appeared near 60[min].

네온방전관형 오존발생기의 방전특성 및 오존생성특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Discharge and Ozone Generation for Ozonizer of Neon Discharge Tube Type)

  • In this paper, ozonizer of neon discharge tube type( Neolamp ) by using silent discharge has been designed and manufactured. The discharge and ozone generation characteristics of Neolamp have been studied with variation of turn-on number( N ) of Neolamp, quality( Q ) and shape of external electrode. The discharge voltage is proportional to gap spacing of spiral external electrode( G ) for constant applied volatge. The discharge current is inversely proportional to G for constant applied volatge. The ozone concentration is inversely proportional to Q and G. Also, ozone concentration and generation are proportional to N. The sterilization characteristics of Escherichia coil have been obtained more than 97[%] at $1.30[mg/{\ell}]$ of liquid ozone concentration.
