Despite the growing interest in recreation as one of the ways to maintain physical and mental health in modern society, access to leisure facility is an issue for individuals with disabilities. This paper identifies inaccessible features to propose the ways to promote participation and usage of the leisure facilities for individuals with disabilities. A survey of individuals with disabilities is conducted to determine preferred leisure facilities depending on types of disabilities. The result of this survey is used to evaluate current condition of regulated National leisure facility and forest, which include barrier-free facilities (e.g. interconnecting zones, interior spaces, lavatories and other facilities), signage, approachable information kiosks, emergency egress, and detectable warnings. The common issues (e.g. guiding mechanism, accessible route, safety factors, and barrier-free facilities/services) in various types of recreational facilities (e.g. forest recreational center, spa and hot springs, Amusement Park, ski resort) were identified and analyzed.

The objective of this study is to evaluate the interior elements supporting the safety, mobility and accessibility for the visually impaired persons in the public, government, and other facilities. Ten facilities were analyzed with a checklist based on the architectural codes and the users needs. Also theses facilities were reviewed with mandatory items of the Ministry of Health and Welfare. It appeared that the arrangement of elements such as stair, elevator and restroom, the plan of circulation path and the signage of way-finding had more problems than the details of each element. In addition, institutional facilities for the blinds and trainstation provided easy accessibility, adaptability and mobility compared to the hospital and bus terminal. Suggestions were provided to solve the problem which were found.

The government is in progress the traditional retail market redevelopment and remodeling due to atrophy of the traditional retail market in accordant to opening of the circulation market and changing of the consuming patterns. However, it seemed that primitive project was limited to the environment improvement scope. As the shopping environment which is comfortable to the consumers is provided and the design which considers a traditional retail market specific quality is applied from business plan early. It will be useful for the management normalization of traditional retail market actually. The spatial factors were analyzed as follows. 1. The circulation of consumer should be secured to make boundary line of the pass way. 2. The display booth should be standardized for the security of sight. 3. The signage panel should be consolidated in according to the plan. 4. The street vendor's handcart and tent should be arranged for circulations and the vision line.

실내 측위 시스템은 실내 환경에서 위치 기반 서비스를 하는데 매우 유용하다. 그러나, Wi-fi 신호 등을 사용하는 일반적인 실내 측위 시스템들은 대부분 시스템의 설치와 유지 보수에 많은 비용이 소요된다. 마커를 기준으로 측위를 하는 영상 기반의 시스템도 있지만, 일반 사용자들에게 미적인 문제를 야기 시킬 수도 있다. 이 논문에서, 우리는 대부분의 공공장소에 이미 설치되어 있는 간판 등을 이용하는 새로운 영상 기반의 실내 측위 시스템을 소개한다. 간판의 위치와 방향은 그것들이 설치 될 때 해당 건물의 기준 좌표계에서 위치와 방향이 결정되기 때문에, 간판에 대한 사용자의 상대적인 위치와 방향을 얻어내면 건물의 기준 좌표계에서 사용자의 위치와 방향을 구할 수 있다. 실제 공공장소에서 수행 된 실험은 우리의 시스템이 실내 측위의 실용적인 방법이 될 수 있음을 보여준다.

Recently the trade show is a massive marketing effort of a particular industry and introduces new products to potential customers, as well as the ability to elevate the brand's image and corporate identity. It is increasing its importance as a venue of communication. In these changes, the exhibition is required to have the emotional approach to enhance the dynamic and creative image of companies. Therefore, the product itself as well as the importance of various visual contents of the exhibition is increasing positive effect of the image and marketing on their products. In this sense, this study analyzes video contents of the exhibition that was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Europe's largest display show 'ISE (Integrated Systems Europe)' in 2013, focusing on the domestic company, Samsung, LG Electronics and other four foreign companies. The analysis is based on the Herbert Zettl's applied media aesthetics related to the video contents, through which we can find the way to the development of exhibition video contents making for Trade show.

일반적인 네트워크 디지털 사이니지의 경우 모든 콘텐츠를 WAN상에 있는 대용량 스토리지에 보관을 하고 있으며, 필요한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠가 있을 경우 제한적인 로컬디스크에 다운로드 한 후에 재생 작업을 수행한다. 필요한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 신속한 확보를 위해 기존의 로컬디스크와 WAN 스토리지 사이에 콘텐츠 캐싱 기법을 포함하는 iSCSI 스토리지 계층이 추가된 하이브리드 스토리지 구조를 제안한다.

Audiovisual (AV) facilities such as TVs and signage are installed in various public places. However, audio cannot be used to prevent noise and interference from individuals, which results in a loss of concentration and understanding of AV content. To address this problem, a total technique for remotely listening to audio from audiovisual facilities with clean sound quality while maintaining video and lip-syncing through personal smart mobile devices is proposed in this paper. Through the experimental results, the proposed scheme has been verified to reduce system power consumption by 8% to 16% and provide real-time processing with a low latency of 120 ms. The system described in this paper will contribute to the activation of audio telehearing services as it is possible to provide audio remote services in various places, such as express buses, trains, wide-area and intercity buses, public waiting rooms, and various application services.

최근 디지털 사이니지 시장은 정방형 디스플레이로 콘텐츠를 표출하던 초기와 달리 다양한 형태와 크기를 가진 비정형 사이니지를 배치하여 표출하는 기술에 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 디스플레이의 회전에 따라 변하는 비정형 사이니지 시스템의 구조를 제시한다. 자이로 센서의 출력 값을 입력으로 받아 기울어진 각도를 계산하고, 극좌표계의 특성을 이용하여 회전 각도에 따라 네 꼭짓점의 위치가 가변되는 영상을 영상좌표계로 변환하여 회전형 디스플레이 사이니지로 표출할 수 있다.

최근 디지털 사이니지의 가격의 하락과 기술의 발달로 유명 관광지에서 정보전달을 위해 아날로그형 간판에서 디스플레이 등을 사용한 디지털 사이니지로 전환하고 있으며, 그 중 세로형 디지털 사이니지인 키오스크를 활용한 간판이 증가하고 있다. 하지만 키오스크의 경우 보통 내장되어 있는 콘텐츠만을 제공하는 경우가 많아 콘텐츠를 관리하고 변경하기 위하여 불가피하게 인력과 시간이 소요되며, 원격에서 콘텐츠 제어가 가능하더라도 콘텐츠를 제어하는 동안 리소스 문제로 인해 키오스크의 사용이 중단될 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 독립형 키오스크에서 콘텐츠를 표출하고 있으며 동시에 원격에서 콘텐츠를 제어/관리 할 수 있는 비동기식 콘텐츠 제어 기법에 대하여 제안하고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 웹 기반 디지털 사이니지 가상화를 위한 부하 분산 시스템을 다룬다. 웹 기반 콘텐트는 개발하기 쉽고 관리하기 쉽다고 평가되고 있다. 이런 이유로 디지털 사이니지 콘텐트를 웹 기반으로 개발하는 사례가 늘어나고 있다. 웹 기반 디지털 사이니지 콘텐트를 재생하기 위해서 디지털 사이니지 단말은 특정 사양 이상의 연산 능력을 가지고 있어야 한다. 이때 가상화 기술을 사용하여 디지털 사이니지 단말을 씬 클라이언트로 대체하면 단말 가격, 관리 비용, 전력 비용 등이 절감되는 장점이 있다. 가상화 기술을 사용하여 디지털 사이니지 콘텐트를 다수의 씬 클라이언트에게 스트리밍하기 위해서는 다수의 서버와 부하 분산 시스템이 필요하다. 본 연구에서 개발된 부하 분산 시스템은 서버 부하에 기반하여 요청을 분배하며, 고가용성을 지원한다.
