Optical 60 ㎓ millimeter-wave (MMW) signal generation is demonstrated using the sideband injection-locking method in the master/slave configuration, where two slave lasers are locked to two among several side-bands produced by the direct rf-modulation of a master laser. These two locked slave laser outputs beat against each other in the photo-detector and produce stable and very pure 60 ㎓ signals.

The gradient and depth of tin at the side of glasses by float process were measured. The effects of tin to ion exchanged of glasses in the molten salt of KNO3 and AgNO3 were presented by means of Ag+ ion penetration depth, diffusion coefficient variation, spectral transmittance and color coordinates. The diffusion coefficient of Ag+ ion of tin side was higher than air side, and the activation energy of tin side was 0.2-0.6Kcal/mole lower than air side. Therefore Ag+ ion penetration depth of tin side is 2-10$\mu\textrm{m}$ deeper, hence it can be seen that tin promote Ag+ ion diffusion. The same treatment of ion exchange, reddish-brown oflong wavelength in case of tin present, yellowish-amber of short wavelength in case of tin absence were revealed.

Patients undergoing radiation therapy for head and neck cancer (HNC) experience significant early and long-term side effects. The likelihood and severity of complications depends on a number of factors, including the total dose of radiation delivered, over what time it was delivered and what parts of the head and neck received radiation. Late side effects include: permanent loss of saliva; osteoradionecrosis; radiation recall myositis, pharyngoesophageal stenosis; dental caries; oral cavity necrosis; fibrosis; impaired wound healing; skin changes and skin cancer; lymphedema; hypothyroidism, hyperparathyroidism, lightheadedness, dizziness and headaches; secondary cancer; and eye, ear, neurological and neck structures damage. Patients who undergo radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma tend to suffer from chronic sinusitis. These side effects present difficult challenges to the patients and their caregivers and require life-long strategies to alleviate their deleterious effect on basic life functions and on the quality of life. This review presents these side effects and their management.

70 cows with abomasal torsion and 71 cows with right-side displacement of the abomasum were examined to determine whether the preoperative blood base-excess concentration could be used both as a prognostic indicator for postoperative recovery in cows with abomasal torsion and as an aid in differentiating between abomasal torsion and right-side displacement of the abomasum. The survival rate of cows with abomasal torsion decreased as the base-excess concentration decreased(P=0.08). There was a significant difference(P<0.025) among base-excess ranges between abomasal torsion and right-side displacement of the abomasum. Most cows with base-excess concentrations ${\geq}15.0mEq/L$ and ${\leq}-0.5mEq/L$ had abomasal torsion, rather than right-side displacement of the abomasum.

Conservative therapy with appropriate antibiotics is essential for most patients with infectious spondylitis. Although most antibiotics do not cause problems if it used properly and serious side effects are rare, side effects can occur with any class of drugs and adverse reactions of antibiotics can range from mild allergic reactions to serious and fulminant adverse events. These side effects are also extremely variable from patient to patient and from antibiotic to antibiotic. A side effect of antibiotics may paradoxically increase inflammatory marker levels. Here, the author presents two cases of antibiotic-induced increase in inflammatory markers in cured infectious spondylitis. The patients were successfully treated after stopping the antibiotic therapy. The differential diagnosis between antibiotic side effects and infection should be considered very carefully because the treatment is completely different. Although the exact mechanisms underlying successful treatment without antibiotics are unclear, we should consider the side effects of antibiotics when following inflammatory markers during treatment of infectious spondylitis.

The third-person side view game perspective of side-scrolling games makes playing such games a completely different gaming experience from other traditional games. Nowadays, many game elements are combined with each other, and horror and puzzle elements are often combined to appear in side-scrolling games, bringing players a unique gaming experience. In such games, players seem to be watching their own manipulation of characters. The performance is the same as a stage play, so how to let players better experience such a horror and puzzle-solving stage play through the design of the characters is a key point. However, it is often difficult to accurately classify only from game elements, so first of all, the author will explain the game division of the side scrolling horror puzzle game. After that, this article will analyze the character designs in the three works with high sales and good reputation on Steam, and then draw conclusions.

Gastrointestinal side effects including nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, oral mucositis and colitis, and hepatotoxicity are common occurrence during chemotherapy. Often they result in unplanned admission and interruption of scheduled therapy. Additionally they have a negative influence on patient's therapeutic outcome and quality of life. The assessment of gastrointestinal side effects is dependent on clinician assignment of a grade established by the National Cancer Institute Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events. Continued interest of gastrointestinal side effects has allowed identifying patients at higher risk and providing effective treatments to relieve painful symptom. Finally, proper prevention and management of chemotherapy-induced gastrointestinal side effects will be needed to improve patient's survival and quality of life.

Free-form Concrete Panel(FCP) is each panel that composes the concrete exterior skin of Free-form building. FCPs contain curved surfaces, and FCPs have different curvature, size, and angles. In order to manufacture FCP, high technology is required, and it is currently difficult to manufacture it according to the design shape. In particular, many errors occur in the side shape of FCP. This is because when the side silicone mold is applied, it is installed without a coupling method between molds and support device. In this study, basic research was conducted to develop a side silicone mold support device to solve the above problems. We classified the required performance and derived the detailed requirements. Also, Based on this, we drew the basic design of the support device. We plans to conduct design improvement, mock-up making, and FCP manufacturing experiments through future research.

In this paper, we carried out CFD modelling and simulation for the membrane system to separate H2 gas from the multi-component feed gas. The membrane system is of the annulus tubular type consisting of the external lumen side for the feed gas and the internal permeation side for the sweeping gas. The operating temperature and pressure of the lumen side inlet flow are $374^{\circ}C$ and 7 bar respectively and those of the sweeping gas are $374^{\circ}C$ and 3 bar, and considering these conditions, Pd membrane system was employed. CFD simulations were performed for the co-current flow and counter-current flow membrane system based on the flow directions between the feed and the sweeping gas. Comparisons and discussions were made for the H2 partial pressure, H2 mole fraction and H2 flux for both cases. Furthermore, we executed CFD simulations for the each case of the various inlet flow rates of the feed gas at the lumen side. Accordingly, we reviewed the effects of the flow rate and residence time on the performance of the membrane system.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to report the current status of the Korean traditional medicine side effects described in domestic western medical journals in the past 10 years. Methods: We searched for domestic western medical papers about Korean traditional medicine side effects cases from January 1, 2008, to August 31, 2017. Results: Thirty papers were selected from 31 studies. The number of papers of side effects caused by acupuncture was 21 (70%), by herbal medication was 7 (23%) and by thread lifting was 2 (7%). The number of papers of side effects caused by Korean medical doctors was 20 (66.8%), by non-medical persons including patients was 2 (6.6%), by herbal pharmacists was 1 (3.3%), by multiple practitioners, including Korean medical doctors, was 1 (3.3%), and by unknown persons was 6 (20%). Reported side effects were mostly mild, except for death and severe side effects. Conclusions: Studies of Korean traditional medicine side effects are short, and in-depth studies of stability are needed. These studies will improve the safety of the Korean traditional medicine.
