A Study on Side and Rear-Side Collision Warning System of Vehicle using Fuzzy Control Algorithms (퍼지 제어 알고리즘을 이용한 차량 후측방 충돌 경보 시스템)

  • The side and rear-side collision warning system using fuzzy control algorithms is discussed in this paper. Common rearside warning system has many problems. For example if target vehicle comes into the warning area, it must unconditionally warn. Drivers could be interrupted by it. To solve the problem, I divided measuring area into two sections. One section is blind area of vehicle and the other rear-side area. For blind area, obtained data was filtered inefficient warning signal by using relative velocity method. For rear-side area, a fuzzy logic algorithm is used to recognition of obstacles. According to our experiment relative velocity method and fuzzy logic algorithms were very efficient.

  • The model of rotary tillers under side loads established here is statically in determinate system. By means of FEM method, the deformation of side gearbox and right side board are calculated. Therefore the side deformations of rotary tillers under different lateral loads are discussed systematically. The results show that the rotary tiller system would bear the loads and deform unequally. Author's calculation also indicates that the lateral deforming values of right side board and side gearbox are almost the same, and more than 98% of the loads is born by the side.

Classification of Side Somatotype of the Trunk by Analysing Photographic Data (사진자료에 의한 여성 상반신 측면체형 분류)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify side somatotypes of the trunk by analysing photographic data. Then their distribution according to the age groups was studied. The subjects were 315 females of 18 to 49 year-old. Thirty one photographic measurements were taken to each subject. The factors affecting the side somatotype of the trunk were obtained by principal component analysis, vertical size, posterior/anterior depth and neck posture. The side somatotypes of the trunk were classified into 4 types and their differences were shown by analysing photographic data. The side silhouettes of 4 types were compared with balanced type. By suggesting the canonical discriminant function with the unstandardized canonical coefficient, individual somatotype of the trunk could be discriminated from the photographic data of anterior neck height, anterior waist height, posterior waist depth, buttock height, and anterior depth at the level of back protrusion. The frequency distribution of the side somatotypes of the trunk according to the age groups could be applied for clothing construction and the rate of clothing production.

Studies on the flora in Sinchun Stream Side-bed (대구시 신천 고수부지의 식생 조사)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the phytosociological method for analyzing vegetation composition, which would be one of the major keys of land use in Sinchun stream side-bed. The obtained results were as follows As the result of survey, following flora were observed. Most of plants composed of Graminea,Compositae, Leguminosae and Poligonaceae, 23, 17, 13 arid 9 species, respectively. In upper stream side-bed, E crus-galli var. caudata and Phragmites communis were well growed,which were effective for cleansing water. Otherwise both Polygonum species and Rumex were profused in Mid-stream side-bed and Down-stream side-bed, these plants were well growed in polluted stream.   • Pipes, tubes. and tubular sections with external transverse high fins have been used extensively for heating cooling, and degumidifying air and other gases. This work was performed to investigate an air side heat transfer charactieristics of minichannel with tension wound transverse fin. This estimate was confirmed conversion heat capacity the air side surface area enlargement and heat transfer charactieristics performed available inlet tube side hot water mass flux or outlet tube side air frontal air velocity. The most suitable tension wound transverse finned minichannel was measured extremely low in air side pressure drop and fin effectiveness $3.3\~4.4$. The pressure drop $0.9\~2.8Pa$ was ranged frontal air velocity $0.5\~1.2m/s$. It is also appeared that heat transfer in air side could be better conversion heat area which has been increased $330\%$ of heat capacity compared with the bare tube.

  • The behavior of a hemisphere-cylinder flight vehicle at high angles of attack and side slip angles have been studied. $0^{\circ}{\sim}35^{\circ}$ angles of attack and $0^{\circ}{\sim}5^{\circ}$ side slip angles were selected as fright conditions at Mach No. 0.3. Flow changes from low angles of attack to high angles of attack were compared and analyzed. We changed from low to high angles of attack with small side slip angles. We compared normal, side and axial force coefficients among various test cases.

  • Burrs always come out with the machining of ducterial with small size. Though the size of burrs is small, burrs dominate deterioration of the accuracy of the micro grooves. So the burr generation model especially side burr generation model was investigated to predict the size of the burrs at the given cutting conditions. The side shear plane is introduced to build the burr generation model and the width of side shear plane nomalized with cutting depth is defined with the shear angle. From the theoretical observation, the width of side shear plane can vary up 40% of the cutting depth. To determine the size of burr and stiffness, single groovings were carried out and it was found that there exist a critical depth of cut that the size or stiffness of the burr vary.

  • Computational study has been undertaken to investigate the aerodynamic influence of side jet on a supersonic missile and to find a similarity condition between the flight condition and the wind tunnel testing. Tasks were performed to validate the existing Raytheon test body with side jet, to simulate the flow inside the supersonic wind tunnel, and to compare the flow fields between the missile in free flight and that in the wind tunnel. Then sub-scale model of body-tail configuration was analyzed to estimate the influence of the side jet on the missile components. It Is found that the influence of side Jet is not as significant on the tail region as on the body surface and a simple algebraic formula for aerodynamic coefficients accounting for the side jet as a point force may be cautiously utilized in setting up control logic.

  • The HVDC system consists of ac side and dc side through thyristor valve. ac side protection is similar to conventional ac system protection schemes but dc side protection is different from ac side of HVDC system. AC system don't have controller but HVDC system has controller that controls and protects system from faults and disturbance. This paper show protectional function of HVDC dc side such as asymmetry protection, ac/dc differential protection, dc overvoltage, dc overcurrent protection. Protection models is developed using RTDS software and assessment of protection models is also performed by RTDS system.

  • In the automotive suspension system, especially, Mcpherson strut type, if the resultant of the force through tire and the link reaction force is not coincident with the spring force, the side load against shock-absorber occur. The magnitude of side load is proportional to the difference between resultant force and spring force. To reduce side load, several method can be used, and one is to use the side load coil spring. This study summarize the development results of side load coil spring, i.e., how to design, analysis, manufacture, and test.
