This paper proposed an access control for computer-based integrated multimedia running on shepherd and SIP(Session Initiation Protocol). But, conventional framework for access control SIP environment has not yet fully progressed a shepherd and an access control for computer-based integrated multimedia running on SIP(Session Initiation Protocol). Session management include function of session creation, session end, late comer process, and access control. Therefore, this paper described access control based on a shepherd and SIP environment to maintain good session condition.

Three German Shepherd dogs (5 years old, 30 kg, male; 4 years old, 23 kg, female; 4 years old, 24 kg, female) with history of acute vomiting, hemorrhagic diarrhea, anorexia and dullness were admitted to veterinary clinic in the military working dogs training corp (MWDTC). All of them showed same symptoms after ingestion the $'PREVNTIC^{(R)}'$ collar to control ecto-parasites infection in field. One dog was operated by gastrotomy and the $5{\sim}6$ pieces of the $'PREVNTIC^{(R)}'$ collar were removed. The dog was completely cured by intensive care within 2 hours after $'PREVNTIC^{(R)}'$ collar ingestion. However, two dogs were operated by gastrotomy and intensive care over 24 hours after $'PREVNTIC^{(R)}'$ collar ingestion but died. In autopsy, the $5{\sim}6$ pieces of hard materials were found in the stomach, and severe thickness, congestion hemorrhage and swelling of the stomach walls and mucous membrane were observed. In these cases, it was suggested that the first aid of treatment such as gastrotomy within two hours after $'PREVNTIC^{(R)}'$ collar ingestion as soon as possible was helpful for attenuating of toxicosis.

This study was performed to estimate the possibility of use of plant materials as catalytic agents fur the decontamination of waste waters contaminated with organic pollutants by using 2,4-dichlorophenol(2,4-DCP) as a model pollutant. Plant materials containing high peroxidase activity were selected as catalysts for the removal of 2,4-DCP. Peroxidase activity, which plant materials were containing, was measured, and the greatest peroxidase activity was observed in shepherd's purse, followed by turnip, sweet potato, Chinese cabbage and white radish. The peroxidase activity in shepherd's purse was four times higher than that of horseradish purchased in U.S.A. Using shepherd' s purse and turnip, it was investigated the effect of various factors on the decontamination of 2,4-DCP through oxidative coupling. The removal of 2,4-DCP was extremely fast, and a maximal removal could be achieved within 3 min for shepherd' s purse and 15min for turnip. The pH range was from 3.0 to 8.0 and the amount of $H_2O_2$ added was 9mM when maximal removal was achieved(over 90%). No increasing removal of 2,4-DCP was observed due to increasing the amount of $H_2O_2$ added (over 9mM). The initial concentration affected the transformation of 2,4-DCP incubated with plant materials. When turnip was used as catalytic agent, it was observed decreasing transformation of 2,4-DCP due to increasing initial concentration.

Based on pathological findings, 5 German shepherds, revealed a mean age of 7.6 years, showing no clinical signs were diagnosed as tracheopathia osteochondroplastica(TOC). Grossly, multiple small-sizecd nodules, appeared as cobble-stones, on the cartilage rings situated in the anterior trachea and the mucosal surface of the epiglottis were showed. Numerous tiny nodules were scattered on the pleural surface of the lung. The vascular walls of the heart were irregular and coarse apearance with calcification. Histopathologically, nodules in the trachea represented an irregular expansion of the underlying tracheal ring with protrusion into the submucosa and consisted of proliferated and calcified cartilage and bone with marrow spaces containing numbers of hematopoietic cells. Pulmonary calcinosis and calcification of the vascular walls of the heart were observed. Our observations suggested that TOC arises form eccondroses and exostoses of the tracheal cartilage rings.

Ethylene glycol (EG) intoxication in dogs can pose a diagnostic challenge. We investigated the effect of a lethal dose of EG to the Shepherd on blood, urine test, and histopathologic observation. Shepherds were treated orally with EG at $10\;m{\ell}/kg$ body weight. Clinically, EG caused the vomition, depression of central brain. Anion gap was increased, which was decreased pH of blood, The blood osmorality was increased at 3 hours, and BUN and creatinine was increased at 24 hour significantly. The pH of urine decreased. The crystal of calcium oxalate appeared at 6 hours. The amount of crystals increased at 12 and 24 hours. Microscopically, the degeneration of proximal tubules were shown at 1 hour and finally progressed as acute tubular nephrosis at 24 hours. These results suggest that the blood and urine test accompanied with histopathological examination be helpful to investigate the EG intoxication.

This study was conducted to survey of Ehrlichia (E.) canis and Borrelia (B.) burgdorferi antibodies among clinically healthy German shepherd dogs (116 females and 120 males) using a ELISA kit (SNAP 3Dx; IDEXX Laboratories, USA) in Korea. Whole blood samples are collected from the 236 dogs and are tested to detect E. canis and B. burgdorferi antibodies by using ELISA kit (SNAP 3Dx; IDEXX Laboratories, USA). Confidence interval comparisions revealed that dogs of 4-6 years have higher prevalence with a seropositive result (CI=0.17-0.45) in E. canis than the other age groups but there are no differences among age groups in B. burgdorferi. Also, no differences with a seropositive result were found among different regions in E. canis and B. burgdorferi antibodies. In conclusion, this study was the first large scale survey of canine E. canis and B. burgdorferi antibodies in Korea and provide an useful reference for clinicians.

One four-month-old female shepherd mongrel dog with chief complaints of abdominal distension and dysponea was referred. The authors performed physical examination, hematological examination, X-ray examination, exploratory laparotomy, electrocardiography and angiography as antemortem investigation in addition to postmortem examination. This patient revealed complicated congenital cardiac anormaly including patent ductus arteriosus, both atrial and ventricular hypertrophy, distension in the base of the pulmonary artery, pulmonary stenosis, aortic insufficiency, patent foramen ovate and coronary arteriovenous fistula.

Shepherd's purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris) is one of the minor but important vegetable in Korea. The present study records 4 fungal diseases of this plant occurring under natural condition for the first time in Korea. They are white rust caused by Albugo candida, downy mildew by Peronospora parasitica, leaf spot by Pseudocercosporella capsellae, and powdery mildew by Erysiphe cichoracearum of these, white rust and downy mildew were most common causing severe damages and should be managed for the development of greenhouse cultivation of this plant.

A 9-month-old neutered male German Shepherd dog was referred with the primary complaint of episodic collapse. Apparent abnormal findings were not observed in physical examination, routine biochemistry, and diagnostic imaging studies. In the 12-lead surface ECG after collapse, the dog showed frequent ventricular premature contractions (VPCs) with torsade de pointes. The frequency of VPCs was reduced after lidocaine infusion. Based on the history, findings in event recordings oi the ECG and lidocaine response test, the dog was diagnosed as inherited malignant ventricular tachyarrhythmia. Although the dog was initially responded to oral sotalol therapy, the dog was died suddenly. This report described the first case of malignant ventricular tachyarrhythmia of German Sheperd in Korea.
