LTCC 공정 중 적층 및 소결이 유전율과 회로 형상에 미치는 영향 (Influence of laminating and sintering condition on permittivity and shrinkage during LTCC process)

  • LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) has been emerged as a promising technology in packaging industry. In this technology the lamination and the sintering process are very important because they change the permittivity of ceramics and the dimension of metal pattern which have influences on electric property. In this paper we studied on influence of the permittivity and the dimension change by lamination pressure and sintering temperature of LTCC process. As a results, permittivity increase along with increasing of lamination pressure and sintering temperature.

  • LTCC(Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) which offers a good performance to produce multilayer structures with electronic circuits and components has emerged as an attractive technology in the electronic packaging industry. In LTCC module fabrication process, the lamination and the sintering are very important processes and affect the electrical characteristics of the final products because the processes change the permittivity of ceramics and the dimension of the circuit patterns which have influences on electronic properties. This paper discusses the influence of lamination pressure and sintering temperature on the permittivity and the dimensional change of LTCC products. In the present investigation, it is shown that the permittivity increases along with increasing of the lamination pressure and the sintering temperature.

  • Ni0.3Zn0.7Fe2O4 ferrite specimens were fabricated by dry pressing and tape casting method. The properties of each specimen were measured and compared. In order to design and manufacture the chip devices effectively, one important criterion can be that the sintered density of the laminated body should approach close to that of the dry pressed body which is regarded as standard. This requirement could be satisfied by controlling the solid loading of the ferrite sheet, lamination temperature and pressure. Using the optimum conditions (solid loading 55 wt%, lamination temperature 6$0^{\circ}C$, lamination pressure 400 kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$, sintered at 125$0^{\circ}C$ 2h) a sintered ferrite, with the density of 5.18g/㎤ and permeability of 1390 at 0.5 MHz, were obtained.

  • In this paper, we studied the influence of EVA sheet gel content on photovoltaic module durability. Depending on thermal curing temperature and time during lamination, there are dramatic changes on chemical and physical characteristics. To find the optimum PV module process condition, Glass/EVA/Back Sheet scheme was made. Gel Content, FT-IR spectrum and SEM were used for the detail analysis. From these results, $110^{\circ}C/6min$ and $130^{\circ}C/4min$ lamination condition could be suggested for the best one for durable PV module processing. The further analysis is described in the following paper.

  • This study focuses on designing a new gluing system for the FM-I (Freeform Master I), which is a new rapid prototyping machine using a sheet lamination technique. To design the system, we firstly verify the required parameters of the proposed gluing system. Then we analyze the electro-magnetic system by using ANSYS and the mechanical system by using numerical methods. The gluing system can contribute to reduce the cost of the machine since it can be applied to low cost materials such as a plain paper.

  • Recently, the thickness of solar cell gets thinner to reduce the quantity of silicon. And the reduced thickness make it easy to be broken while PV module fabrication process. This phenomenon might make PV module's maximum power and durability down. So, when using thin solar cell for PV module fabrication, it is needed to optimize the material and fabrication condition which is quite different from normal thick solar cell process. Normally, gel-content of EVA sheet should be higher than 80% so PV module has long term durability. But high gel-content characteristic might cause micro-crack on solar cell. In this experiment, we fabricated several specimen by varying curing temperature and time condition. And from the gel-content measurement, we figure the best fabrication condition. Also we examine the crack generation phenomenon during experiment.

  • Rapid Prototyping (RP) techniques have their unique characteristics according to the working principles: stair-stepped surface of parts due to layer-by-layer stacking, low build speed caused by line-by-line solidification to build one layer, and additional post processing to improve surface roughness, so it is required very high cost to introduce and to maintain RP apparatus. The objective of this study is to develop and design a new RP process, Variable Lamination Manufacturing using expandable polystyrene foam sheet as part material (VLM-S), which can make up for the disadvantage of existing techniques, and to develop an apparatus to implement the process. In order to examine the possibility of practical utilization of the proposed VLM-S process for prototyping of a general three-dimensional shape, an auto-shift lever knob and a pyramid shape were fabricated.

The objective of this study is to develop software for automatic generation of unit shape part (USP) for a new RP process, Variable Lamination Manufacturing using linear hotwire cutting technique and expandable polystyrene foam sheet as part material (VLM-S). In order to examine the applicability of the developed software to VLM-S, USP's of general three-dimensional shapes, such as an auto-shift lever knob and a pyramid shape were generated.

단판 적층성형 학생용 책상.의자의 제조적성 (Feasibility of Manufacturing Desk and Chair with Curved Veneer Lamination)

  • As physical condition of students improves, there is a need to develop human body-friendly desk and chair for students. In this study, desks and chairs were manufactured with curved veneer lamination under high frequency heating and pressing, using ten wood species such as Japanese red pine, Korean pine, pitch pine, Japanese larch, yellow poplar, black locust, oak, radiata pine, beech, and birch. The performance of these products were evaluated. The results obtained were summarized as follows; With high frequency heating, the turned lamination of veneers with full size sheet ($3{\times}6\;feet$) prepared by rotary lathe peeling was successfully applied for making the members of desk top, leg frames of desk and chair. Bending strengths of desk tops were relatively greater for yellow poplar, black locust and red pine, which were similar to those of beech and birch. Bending strengths of desk legs were classified into greater species group (red pine, yellow poplar, larch) and lower species group (radiata pine, Korean pine, pitch pine). Compressive strengths of chair legs in parallel direction to the lamination were greater in black locust and larch. On the other hand, differences between outer and inner gap at the top and drawer bottom of desk top were rather larger for the laminations of birch and beech, and less for those of yellow poplar and pitch pine, showing greater stability of open drawer space. In results, yellow poplar, larch, pitch pine and red pine showed good appearance and strength properties at the curved veneer lamination. Accordingly, it was believed that these domestic woods were able to substitute for birch which was being imported for the use of veneer-laminates type furniture.

  • 본 연구에서는 다양한 재료의 시트(Sheet)를 각각 절단하여 적층하는 방법으로 기존 적층조형법과는 다른 쾌속 임의형상제작 시스템인 CAFL/sup VM/(Computer Aided Fabrication of Lamination for Various Material)을 제안한다. 이러한 조형 방법은 가공 속도를 빠르게 하며 복잡한 후처리 과정을윽 대폭 줄일 수 있고, 여러 가지 재료가 사용 가능한 장점을 지니고 있다. 이러한 목적으로 개발된 2자유도의 X-Y테이블 형태의 CAFL/sup VM/은 레이저빔으로 시트(Sheet)를 절단, 적층하여 조형물을 완성하는 새로운 고속적층 시스템으로 가능성을 검증하였다. 하지만 2자유도 시스템은 X-Y 평면을 이동하는 작업공간에 수직으로 레이저 가공이 이루어지는 방법으로, 조형된 사물의 표면에 계단 형상이 나타나는 표면정밀도상의 문제점을 드러낸다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 2자유도에 3자유도를 추가한 5자유도 시스템을 제안하여 레이저의 경사절단이 가능하게 함으로서 조형된 사물의 표면 정밀도를 높이고, 일정한 패턴의 모양을 갖는 조형물 가공의 경우 여러 시트(Sheet)가 적층되는 부분을 한번에 가공할 수 있도록 하여 보다 빠르고 정밀한 5자유도 매니퓰레이터 CAFL/sup VM/ 시스템을 설계한다. 즉, 정속경로제어와 경사각절단제어를 구현하고 그 외에 수반된 자동화 CAFL/sup VM/ 시스템을 구현하는 것이 본 논문의 목적이다.
