UV protection cosmetics belong to functional cosmetics and contain organic or inorganic UV blocking pigments. The inorganic UV blocking pigments are mainly zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. It is known that inorganic UV blocking pigment has a diameter of 60 to 100 nm and has good blocking ability of UVA and UVB. Also, it has high inactivity against sunlight including UV and is excellent in safety. In addition, it is not absorbed or accumulated on the skin like organic pigments and does not cause skin irritation or allergy. In this study, mica, a plate-shaped inorganic pigment, nanosized titanium dioxide, an UV blocking material, and hydrophobic silica were surface-treated with surfactants. And then, titanium dioxide nanoparticles and silica were physically adsorbed on the mica by non-chemical mutual attraction due to differences in charge. Thereafter, the mica complex was surface-treated with silane to prepare a hydrophobic UV blocking pigment complex. The plate-shaped UV blocking composite improves the cohesiveness of a general nanoparticle material titanium dioxide, enhances UV blocking effect due to uniform dispersion, and can greatly improve dispersion stability in cosmetic formulations by surface treatment with hydrophobic property. The surface charge of the pigment was evaluated by zeta potential. The properties of the UV blocking pigment complex were evaluated by FE-SEM, XRD, FT-IR and UV-VIS.
The compression molding of SMC (sheet molding compund) at room temperature was analyzed based on rigid-viscoplastic approach by three dimensional finite element program. The developed program was tested by solving the three dimensional compression of wedge type specimens of aluminum alloys at various processing conditions. The simulation results were compared well to the experimental results available in the literature. based on this comparison the program was proved to be valid and was further applied in solving compression molding of SMC, which is a thermosetting material reinforced with chopped fiber glass. To investigate the effects of friction conditions and mold closing speeds for compression molding of SMC charge at room temperature, compressions of the cylindrical and rectangular shaped SMC were analyzed for various friction conditions and mold closing speeds. The calculated load values were compared to the experimental results for the compression molding of cylindrical specimen.
It is well recently recognized that quench is one of the serious problems for the integrity of superconducting magnets, which is mainly attribute to the rapid temperature rising in the magnet due to some extrinsic factors such as conductor motion, crack initiation etc. In order to apply acoustic emission(AE) technique effectively to monitor and diagnose superconducting magnets, it is essential to identify the sources of acoustic emission. In this paper, an acoustic emission technique has been used to monitor and diagnose quenching phenomenon in racetrack shaped superconducting magnets at cryogenic environment of 4.2K. For these purposes special attention was paid to detect AE signals associated with the quench of superconducting magnets. The characteristics of AE parameters have been analyzed by correlating with quench number, winding tension of superconducting coil and charge rate by transport current.

An acoustic emission(AE) technique has been used to monitor and diagnose quenching phenomenon in racetrack shaped superconducting magnets at cryogenic environment of 4.2K. The ultimate goal is to ensure the safety and reliability of large superconducting magnet systems by being able to identity and locate the sources of quench in superconducting magnets. The characteristics of AE parameters have been analyzed by correlating with quench number, winding tension of superconducting coil and charge rate by transport current. It was found in this study stat there was good correlation between quench current and AE parameters. The source location of quenching in superconducting magnet was also discussed on the correlation between magnet voltage and AE energy.
This paper describes a novel tip position sensor made of a triangularly shaped piezoelectric PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) film for a cantilever beam. Due to the boundary condition of the cantilever beam and the spatial sensitivity function of the sensor, the charge output of the sensor is proportional to the tip position of the beam. Experimental results with the PVDF sensor were compared with those using two commercially available position sensors: an inductive sensor and an accelerometer. The resonance frequencies of the test beam, measured using the PVDF sensor, matched well with those measured with the two commercial sensors and the PVDF sensor also showed good coherence over wide frequency range, whereas the inductive sensor became poor above a certain frequency.
The azobenzene dendrimer is one of the dendrimeric macromolecules that include the azo-group exhibiting a photochromic character. Due to the presence of the charge transfer element of the azo-group and its rod-shaped structure, these compounds are expected to have potential interest in electronics and photoelectronics, especially in nonlinear optics. In the present paper, we give pressure stimulation to organic thin films and detect the induced displacement current. Functional photoisometrization organic molecular the photo-stimulus to organic monomolecular L films and LB films of dendrimer and SASH were performed. The SASH organic monolayer in case of pressure stimulus occurred that positive course but in case of the photo-stimulus compared positive and negative. It is assumed that generation forms of displacement current were measured when photo-stimulus for impression.

The electromagnetic force induced by an intense electric current pulse, which generates an electromagnetic field around the metal jet originating from a shaped charge, can disperse and scatter the high-speed metal jet. An electric device consisting of an RLC circuit applies an intense electric current pulse that flows in the circuit while the metal jet passes between two electrodes. In this study, the metal jet formation was simulated using the ALE technique in 2-D, and a 3-D finite element model was mapped using 2-D simulation results to induce the electric current directly. The deformed shapes of the metal jet and the electromagnetic force were calculated using a finite element analysis by inducing the electric current directly, and the major parameters of the intense electric current pulse for breaking up the metal jet were examined.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the general patterns of the floor plans and space of Usonian house which designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. this thesis can be summarized as follows : 1) F.L.Wright's houses mostly used simple geometric shapes as the basis for most of his architectural designs. In his early works, his typical floor plans were square or rectangular shapes, which gradually were transformed into various kinds of shape to make the adjustment of location of the site and shape. 2) The general patterns of floor plans of his U-houses were L-shaped or straight shaped using a $4{\times}4$ grid system. Most of U-houses consisted of 3 space: living room, workspace(Kitchen) & dining, and bedroom. Among them, a workspace worked as core role in each house. 3) Even though solid wall is the opposite concept of the transparent glass but most U-houses were designed to have solid walls on one side to provide a gallery space(to secure habitability of resident) and transparent glass walls used on the other side to connect between interior space and natural space of exterior. 4) The cantilever have not been used before Usonian house but F.L.Wright used it which take charge of functions as transfer space between inside space and outside space. 5) F.L.Wright saw the nature as a truth, so he thought the interior space would be natural and all houses must be able to adjust to the natural environment.

For the quality control of the industrial products, an automatic hole measuring system has been developed. The measurement device allows X-Y movement due to contact forces between a hole and its own circular cone and the device is attached to an industrial robot. Its measurement accuracy is about 0.04mm. This movement of the plate is measured by two LVDT sensor system. But this system using the LVDT sensors is restricted by high cost and precision of measurement and correspondence of environment so particularly, a vision system with CCD-Camera is discussed in this paper for the above mentioned purpose. The device consists of two of two links jointed with hinge pins basically and, they guarantee free movement of the touch prove attached on the second link in the same plane. These links are returned to home position by the spring plungers automatically after each process for the next one. On the surface of the touch prove, it has a circular white mark for camera recognition. The system detect and notify the center coordinate of capture mark image through the image processing. Its measuring accuracy has been proved to be about $\pm$0.01mm through the repeated implementation over 200 times. This technique will shows the advantage of touch-indirect image capture idea using cone-shaped touch prove in various symmetrical shaped holes particulary, like tapped holes, chamfered holes, etc As a result, we attained our object in a view of the accuracy, economical efficiency, and functionality

Eight under 2 micron size fractions of the montmorillonite from Jugjeonri area, Gyeongsanbug-do, were studied and then this result has been compared with data from Yongdongri area. Montmorillonites occurring at the same stratigraphic horizon in each area show limited variation in chemical composition, but shows some degree of differences in exchangeable cation compositions and total layer charges of montmorillonites from Jugjeonri to Yongdongri area. In general, samples from Jugjeonri show higher amount of exchangeable Na and layer charge due to relatively higher substitution of Mg for Al in octahedral sites than those from Yongdongri area. But Their dehydroxylation endothermic peaks of the samples from both areas are abnormal type with a small range of variation of peak temperature. This variation seems to reflect tetrahedral substitution of AI for Si for samples from Yongdongri whereas samples from Jugjeonri do not show shuch a tendency. However, samples from Jugjeonri proved to be relatively higher dehydroxylation peak temperatures than those of the other. DSC data for sample from Jugjeonri also show that divalent-cation saturated montmorillonite have relatively a higher endothermic heat capacities than monovalent-cation saturated one as shown in previous work. Two different morphologies of montmorillonites, honeycomb structure and closely packed intergrowth, by SEM were observed in samples from both areas but the later one is common. The scalloped type is relatively abundant in the sample from Yongdongri than the other. The dominant habit by TEM are irregularly shaped foliated aggregates and platy shaped particles. In general, foliated aggregates which are easy to disperse are relatively abundant in the samples from Jugjeon compared with those from Yongdongri area.
