대학생의 자아존중감, 부모-자녀간 의사소통, 친구집단 성태도와 성허용성 (Self-esteem, Parent-adolescent Communication, Friend's Sexual Attitude and Sexual Permissiveness in College Students)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify factors that affect sexual permissiveness in college students. Methods: A descriptive design was used with 380 college students who completed a questionnaire about self-esteem, parents-adolescent communication, friend's sexual attitude and sexual permissiveness. Results: The sexual permissiveness showed significant differences for the variable: grade (F=0.51, p=.002), gender (t=7.28, p<.001), age (F=14.72, p<.001), religion (t=4.97, p<.001), residence type (F=4.75, p=.009), number of call with parents (F=3.56, p=.030), number of viewing pornographic video (F=36.05, p<.001), number of viewing pornographic magazine (F= 47.90, p<.001), status of dating (t=3.62, p<.001), number of sexual intercourse (F=14.51, p<.001), and experience of sexual intercourse (t=13.00, p<.001). There was a positive correlation between the friend's sexual attitude and sexual permissiveness (r=.64, p<.001). The variables such as friend's sexual attitude, experience of sexual intercourse, the number of watching pornographic video, educational system, religion, and the number of calls with parent explained 52% of the variance in sexual permissiveness. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that it is necessary to develop sexual education program for college students considering their level of sexual permissiveness and their friend's sexual attitude.

한의사의 성폭력피해자 진료경험에 대한 현상학적 질적 연구 (A Phenomenological Qualitative Study on the Traditional Korean Medical Doctor's Experience of Treating Victims of Sexual Violence)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences of traditional korean medical doctors (TKMD) who have treated victims of sexual violence by collecting their qualitative data that cannot be obtained with statistical data. Methods : In-depth interviews were conducted with semi-structured questionnaires for each of 5 TKMDs who had experiences in treating sexual violence victims. For analysis, the interviews were recorded along with their facial expressions and actions during the interview process, and all collected data were analyzed by colaizzi's method. In each process, a 'phenomenological reduction' was applied. Results : The identity of TKMD's experience of treating sexual violence victims was structured into 25 themes, 9 theme clusters, and 4 categories. The 4 categories included 'Professionalism and sense of efficacy', 'Personal life experiences and mental trauma treatment experiences that are mutually influencing each other', 'Factors needed to increase TKMD's participation in treatment of sexual violence victims', 'Deriving the future strategy of traditional korean medicine'. Conclusions : This study derived the essence and meaning of TKMDs' experiences in treating sexual violence victims, and presented future directions of traditional korean medicine in this field. It is expected that the results of this study would be used as the basis for establishing the traditional korean medical support system for sexual violence victims in the context of the korean medical system.

고등학생이 인지하는 성폭력에 대한 잘못된 통념 분석 (High School Students Misconceptions of Sexual Violence)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze high school. students' misconceptions and education of sexual violence. The data were collected from June 19 to July 14, 2000 using the questionnaire. The Subjects of this study consisted of 660 high school students in six provinces(Seoul, Incheon, Daegu, Kyunggi, Kangwon, Kyungbuk). Data were analyzed using percentage, mean standard deviation, ANOVA, and Duncan test. The results were as follows 1. About sixty-three percent of the subjects was educated for sexual violence. 2. About thirty-four percent of the subjects experienced sexual harassment, 22.3% of the subjects experienced serious sexual contact and 0.8% of the subjects was raped. 3. The mean score of misconception related sexual violence was $2.71{\pm}0.45$. 4. The mean score of misconception related sexual violence showed significant differences in delayed time of education(F=8.90, P<.0001), in reading of pornomagazine (F=2.58, P<.01) and in taken lecture from physical education teacher. 5. The mean score of misconception related sexual violence showed significant differences in experience of sexual harassment (t=-2.63, P<.01) and in experience of serious sexual contact(t=-2.78, P<.01). 6. There was a significant differences in misconception related sexual violence between boy and girl(t=6.69, P<.0001). According to the above results, realistic and future-directed sexual violence education materials should be developed for high school students. This information will provide useful data to promote a more systemic and desirable sexual violence education.

고등학생의 성 의식과 성 행동에 관한 연구 (The sexual awareness and sexual behaviour of high school students)

  • This paper is based on the assumption that the sexual awareness and sexual behaviour of high school students would show the difference between an academic high school and a vocational high school. The main purpose of this paper is to provide basic information on establishing the direction of a realistic and efficient education, which leads to the desirable sex ethics eventually. To do this, a comparative study was carried out to figure out the difference between academic high school students and vocational high school students in terms of their actual awareness and behaviour of sex. I put the following two questions in order to achieve the goal of this study. First, what is the difference in sexual awareness between academic high school students and vocational high school students? Second, what is the difference in sexual behaviour between academic high school students and vocational high school students? The subjects of the survey conducted were 595 high school students in Kyunggi Province and I made the questionnaires referencing pre-studies. The SPSS program was used to get a frequency and a percentage from the results of the survey and then, by applying t-text, $x^2$ verification and interrelation, the following results were obtained. First, regarding sexual awareness, there wasn't much difference in their idea of keeping virginity before marriage between academic high school students and vocational high school students. From the results obtained by analyzing the interrelation between students and their parents and friends in terms of a will to keep virginity, it is found that there was a relevance in both academic high school and vocational high school. When they have a sex problem, it was friends that they are looking for consulting and both groups showed thesame result. But pertaining to an experience of a sex education, the comparative analysis indicated an meaningful difference. Second, as for sex behaviour, it was shown that there was a difference in the experience of going out with the other sex between academic high school students and vocational high school students as well as in the degree of physical touch. However, not much difference was shown in controlling a sex desire between the two groups. As a results of the comparative analysis of the sex experience between the two groups, there was a meaningful difference. In terms of the object of their sex experience, the majority of students in the two groups chose a friend as their first answer and there was little difference. From these results I can draw some conclusions that most of the students in both groups have a link with friends and parents in keeping their virginity. Furthermore, a meaningful difference in experiencing a sex education is presented between the two groups. With regard to the sex behaviour of high school students, a meaningful difference is shown in dating the other sex, a physical touch and a sex experience between the two groups. Consequently, we realize that there is a meaningful difference in some variants on the sexual awareness and sexual behaviour of high school students between academic high school and vocational high school.

강원도 중학생의 성 태도와 경험 (Sexual Attitudes and Experience in Middle School Students, Kangwon-Do, Korea)

  • As an initial step toward the improvement of sexual education in middle school students, a survey on sexual attitudes and experience was done in Kangwon - Do, Korea. Questionnaires consisted of 68 items distributed to 240 boys and 240 girls from November 1 to December 20, 1996. Answers from 420 students were subjected to an analysis with SPSS. 92.4% of the girls experienced menstruation. Of them, 74.0% showed a negative reaction. 52.0% of the boys experienced night ejaculation. Of them, 81. 7% showed a negative reaction. Boys (64.3%) masturbated more than girls (17. 6%) (p= 0.0000). The understanding of masturbation was higher in boys than in girls (p = 0.0000). 87.2% of the subjects wished meetings with the opposite sex. During the meeting with the opposite sex, 12.9% of the students enjoyed drinking or smoking, 8.8% had intercourse. Boys(91.9%) watched pornography or porno-video more than girls(40.5%)(p=0.0000). 83.3% of the girls thought that both males and females should keep their virginity untill marriage. However, only 48.6% of boys thought that(p=0.0000). Of boys who had experienced sexual touch, 34.8% had intercourse. Of the 30 students(26 boys, 4 girls) who experienced sexual intercourse, 22 students had partners of the opposite sex and were friends. First intercourse 63.4% of these students had their in middle school period. The frequencys of sexual intercourse (more than 6times) was written by 12 students (40.0%). 24 students(16 boys and 8 girls) experienced sexual violence. As for dealing with sexual violence, 14 suffered by him or herself whill 7 students discussed it with a friend. There was a significant difference in the sources of information between boys and girls(p= 0.000), 36.0% had learned from an official sexual education source, usually from school nurses (74.0%). 92.6% of the students thought that sexual education was necessary. They believed that the appropriate person for sexual education was from a school nurse (53.1%) or from parents (19.5%). According to the above results, the following might be suggested: Realistic and future-directed sexual education material should be developed : Education programs to improve students insight and control sexual desire should be prepared: a systematic approach to activate the role of school nurse in sexual education should be prepared.

성건장 이동클리닉 사업에 대한 청소년의 보건교육 및 상담 만족도 (Health Education and Counseling for Adolescents at Mobile Sexual Health Clinics)

  • Objectives: This study was performed in order to evaluate the quality of health services provided to the adolescents at mobile health clinics and to improve the services for them, and to figure out knowledge level of adolescents on sex, birth control methods and artificial abortion, and the effect of the knowledge levels those items on sexual behavior. The data obtained will be utilized for sex health education program in the future. Methodology: A total of 2,021 adolescents who visited mobile sexual health clinics in Seoul, Inchon, Busan, Daejon, Cheonbuk, Kwangju and Daegu were surveyed in November 2007. The items surveyed were level of satisfaction about the services provided by mobile sexual health clinics, personal opinions and experience of artificial abortion, knowledge level about birth control, sexual experience and pregnancy. The above mentioned items were analyzed by general characteristics such as religion and geographical area. Results: The study subjects were generally satisfied with the services of mobile sexual health clinics. But they were not satisfied with the information about birth control methods provided by the clinics. The subjects who had better knowledge about sex were more satisfied with the services provided by the clinics. And the subjects who had knowledge about birth control methods but did not have birth control experience were also more satisfied with the services of clinics. The subjects who reported that artificial abortion should be allowed were also more satisfied with the services of the clinics. Experiences of sex, pregnancy, and artificial abortion were not correlated to satisfaction of the clinic services. Conclusions: The mobile sexual health clinics have to continues to provide sex health education and other sex related health services to adolescents. More practical information about birth control methods should be provided to the adolescents by the clinics based on the study results. Active preventive measures for unwanted pregnancy should be provided to the adolescents by the clinics.

한국 청소년의 성 행태와 성 경험 (Sexual Behaviors and Sexual Experience of Adolescents in Korea)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 청소년들의 성 행태와 성 경험을 파악하고, 성 경험에 영향을 미치는 예측요인을 규명하여 향후 성 건강 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구대상은 2012년 제8차 청소년 온라인건강행태조사에 참여한 중학교 1학년부터 고등학교 3학년까지의 중 고등학생 74,186명이며, 기술통계, $X^2-test$, 복합표본 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과 성관계를 경험한 학생은 중 고등학교 청소년 중 4.3%였으며, 이중 남학생은 5.9%, 여학생은 2.6%로 남학생들의 성경험이 높게 나타났다. 성 경험에 영향을 미치는 유의한 변수는 남학생이 학교급, 아버지 학력, 사회경제적 상태, 아르바이트경험, 학교 성교육경험, 거주형태가 유의한 변수로 확인되었고, 여학생은 학교급, 학교유형(공학여부), 사회경제적 상태, 아르바이트 경험, 학교성교육경험, 거주형태가 유의한 변수로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과에서 남녀모두에서 성 경험에 승산비가 가장 컸던 변수는 아르바이트 경험으로 나타났다. 따라서 어른들에 의한 물리적 성폭력에 대한 심층적인 연구가 더 필요할 것으로 보이며 거절기술이나 의사소통기술과 같은 프로그램이 필요할 것으로 사료된다. 또한 학교성교육을 받은 경험이 있는 남녀 청소년들이 학교 성교육을 받은 적이 없다고 응답한 학생에 비해 성관계 경험이 유의하게 적었던 만큼 학교에서의 성교육을 활성화하는 방안이 필요하다. 이러한 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 청소년 아르바이트경험이 중 어른이나 혹은 물리적 힘에 의한 성폭력을 경험한 적이 있는 지에 대한 지표를 청소년 건강행태온라인조사에 반영하는 방안을 고려해 볼 필요가 있으며, 거절기술이나 의사결정 기술 등 생활기술을 반영한 학교성교육을 강화하는 것이 필요하다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 다문화 청소년의 성행태 실태를 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 연구방법은 2019년 청소년건강행태조사 빅데이터를 활용한 이차분석 연구로, SPSS 25 프로그램을 사용하여 복합표본 빈도와 백분율, 복합표본 교차분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 우리나라 다문화가정 청소년들의 성관계 경험은 8.2%로 피임 방법은 콘돔을 가장 많이 사용하고 있었고, 대부분의 청소년은 학교에서 성교육을 들은 경험이 있었다. 이들의 성관계 경험은 학년, 학업성적, 경제상태, 거주형태, 스트레스, 평생 음주 및 흡연 경험에 따라 유의하게 차이가 있었다(p<.001). 따라서 다문화 청소년의 성행태에 관련이 있는 요인을 반영하여 성교육을 하는 것이 이들의 성건강에 도움을 줄 것이다.

중.고등학교 여학생들의 성행동과 관련된 요인들 (The Risk Factors Associated with Adolescent Females′ Sexual Behavior)

  • This study investigates the factors associated with adolescent females' sexual behavior. Results from 390 adolescent females reveal that dating atmosphere was the strongest and the most influential risk factor predicting adolescent females sexual behavior, which has been a neglected variable in the research of adolescent sexual behavior. Age and similarity of sexual attitude with her dating partner, in addition to the dating experience had very significant impacts on highly sexually experienced adolescent females' sexual behavior. Adolescent females with low sexual experiences were significantly affected by similarity of sexual attitude with dating partner, siblings, and peers, her own attitude, age, and dating atmosphere. The findings from this study also indicate that parental supervision, dating atmosphere, respondent's sexual attitude, love for partner, and communication with parents on sexual issues were significant factors for determining adolescent females' sexual involvement.

초등학교 고학년 아동의 사춘기 적응증진을 위한 학교기반 성교육체험 프로그램의 개발 및 효과 (Effects and Development of an Experience-based Sex Education Program for Adjustment to Puberty in Upper Elementary Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop an experience-based sex education program to improve adjustment to puberty in elementary school students in the upper grades and to verify its effectiveness. Methods: This study had a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The subjects of this study were a total of 95 sixth-graders in Y city (experimental group: 48, control group: 47). The measurement variables were sexual knowledge, body image, self-esteem, and satisfaction with life. Four sessions of the experience-based sex education program to improve adjustment to puberty, consisting of 40 minutes per session, were provided to the experimental group. Results: Children's sexual knowledge, self-esteem, and satisfaction with life in the experimental group, which participated in the experience-based sexual education program to improve adjustment to puberty, showed a significant increase compared to the control group. However, there was no statistically significant difference in body image. Conclusion: This study presents the development of an experience-based sex education program for adjustment to puberty to overcome the shortcomings of existing sex education programs that are limited to sexual knowledge and attitudes, and also verified that the sexual knowledge, self-esteem, and life satisfaction of the elementary school students who were provided with the program improved meaningfully.
