The Comparative Study on the Extension Brands of Fashion Industry - DKNY, Ak Anne Klein, it Michaa, O'2nd -

  • The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the relationship among image, customer satisfaction and loyalty of fashion Extension brands. It is expected that this study will provide guidance to fashion companies that are planning to expand their brand in setting up marketing strategies and service strategies. The results of the study are the following. First, women consumers in their 20s had an perception that second brands provided diverse and unique products at cheap prices. However, after purchasing the products, they recognized that the second companies' service level was not so satisfying. Second, consumers were satisfied with the brand awareness, reputation, image, design, color, and packing conditions of the second brands while being not satisfied with the pricing. Third, when the study examined brand loyalty of second brands, consumers have shown high loyalty to the four subsidiary brands. Fourth, the satisfaction level for the four second brands had a significant effect on the brand loyalty for each second brands.

  • 소비자는 제품을 구매하는 것이 아니라, 자신의 머릿속에 각인된 브랜드를 선택한다고 할 수가 있다. 브랜드는 오늘날 고도의 마케팅 전략의 핵심도구로 사용되고 있는 것이 현실이다. 본 연구는 기존에 많은 연구가 이루어지지 않는 서비스 브랜드자산 요인에 관한 연구로써, 기업이 수행하는 마케팅 커뮤니케이션요인이 서비스 브랜드자산 요인에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 파악해서 서비스 기업의 경쟁 우위를 확보에 필수적인 서비스 브랜드자산 요인 관리방안을 제시하는데 연구목적이 있다. 서비스 브랜드의 개념과 특징, 마케팅 커뮤니케이션과 서비스 브랜드자산 요인에 대한 기존연구를 통해서 본 연구의 연구모형과 연구가설을 설정하였다. 서비스 브랜드 자산 가치 형성에 영향 요인인 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 요인과(광고, 홍보, 구전, 판매촉진) 브랜드 인지, 브랜드 이미지 그리고 브랜드충성도 어떤 관계성이 있는지를 실증적 연구를 통해서 검증하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 서비스는 초고속 인터넷망으로 가장 무형성이 강한 성격을 가지고 있으며, 가격과 품질에 차이가 없고, 브랜드 마케팅이 활발히 진행되고 있어 본 연구의 적합한 연구 대상이라고 판단되어 선정하였다. 실증연구 결과를 간단히 요약하면 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 요인 중에 광고, 판매촉진, 구전이 브랜드 인지에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 홍보, 판매촉진, 구전이 브랜드이미지에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 브랜드 이미지와 인지는 브랜드 충성도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나고 있다.

럭셔리브랜드 패션잡화시장에서의 충성도에 대한 2030과 5060 세분시장 간의 비교 (Comparison between 2030 and 5060 segmented markets for loyalty in the fashion accessory market of luxury brand)

  • Recently, the luxury brand market has expanded from the 5060 market to the 2030 market segment due to diversification of distribution channels, an increase in income, and changes in consumption values. This change is attributed to the increase in sales of fashion accessory products, such as bags and wallets, thereby confirming the importance of the luxury brand fashion accessories market. However, there are few studies of the luxury brand fashion accessories market or brand loyalty for fashion accessories, which accounts for a large proportion of the overall luxury brand market. The purpose of this study was to develop and empirically test a theoretical framework that captures and compares the difference of impact of service quality, product attributes, and consumer satisfaction on luxury brand loyalty between the 20-30 market and the 5060 market of the fashion accessories market. Data was collected from 598 customers who purchased luxury brand fashion accessories by objective sampling. Structural equation modelling was used to test the hypotheses developed for the study. Results found evident effects of consumer satisfaction on luxury brand loyalty through the perception of service quality by consumers. Additionally, in the 2030 market, the fashion accessory attributes had little impact on consumer satisfaction and luxury brand loyalty, whereas in the 5060 market, it had a significant impact only on consumer satisfaction, but not on luxury brand loyalty. This is the first study to examine a structural equation model of luxury brand loyalty to compare the difference of the model between segmented markets, such as the 2030 market and the 5060 market of the luxury brand fashion accessories market. These results will contribute to a better understanding of the mechanism that underlie the operation of an effective luxury branding strategy for fashion accessories.

위탁급식 전문업체의 브랜드 자산 구성 요인간 인과 관계 분석 - 인천지역 일부 대학생을 대상으로 - (Causal-effect Analysis of Brand Equity Factors in Contract Foodservice Management Company in College and University in Incheon Area)

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to analyze the relationship between brand equity factors ie brand awareness, brand image, brand preference and brand loyalty and 2) to suggest the strategy for brand management of contract food service management company. The developed questionnaires were distributed to the college and university students in Incheon area from September 20 to September 24 in 2004. Total 198 questionnaires were used for the final data analysis with response rate of $82.5\%$. For the statistical analysis, the descriptive analysis, factor analysis, pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted by using SPSS Win (10.0). The results of this study showed that the following 5 hypotheses were supported. Hypothesis 1: The brand awareness of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand image of that. Hypothesis 2: The brand image of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand preference of that. Hypothesis 3: The brand awareness of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand preference of that. Hypothesis 4: The brand preference of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand royalty of that. Hypothesis 5: The brand image of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand loyalty of that. As a conclusion, the brand awareness has a positive effect on the brand image and brand preference significantly, so it is recommended that the contract foodservice company should focus on improving the brand awareness as a brand strategy. And the brand preference and brand image have the significant effect on the brand loyalty. Therefore the company should strive to strengthen the brand loyalty though building brand preference and brand image, because the brand loyalty brings about the customer's more visiting the foodservices, which is directly related to the profitabilities of the contract foodservice management company.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between conspicuous consumption tendency, brand attitudes, and purchase intentions of college students regarding eating out by limiting conspicuous consumption tendency among several psychological variables to acquire a more precise and concrete influence factor on consumption behavior to eat out. First, as for sensing other people, pursuing individuality and brand orientation among conspicuous consumption tendency of restaurant costumers had significant effects on brand attitudes, whereas the influence of status symbols and pursuing trend factor on brand attitudes was not verified. Second, as for sensing other people, pursing individuality, pursuing trends, and brand orientation factor among conspicuous consumption tendency had significant effects on purchasing intention. Otherwise, the significant effect relationship between status symbols factor and purchasing intentions was not confirmed. Third, as purchase intentions increased, brand attitudes of consumers increased according to existing research. Thus, this study suggests a more departmentalized marketing strategy method to create profits and enhance competitiveness of food service enterprises, and academic implications suggest fundamental data of relevant studies on conspicuous consumption tendency and purchasing behavior of consumers to eat out.

Exploratory Study on Effects of Restaurant Attributes on Perception of Price and Brand Reputation - Comparison Between Locals and Tourists -

  • This study examines the effects of restaurant attributes on customers' perceptions of price and brand reputation. Four restaurant attributes were used to represent restaurant quality. Multiple regression was conducted to measure the relationships between the four restaurant attributes and price and brand reputation. Further, an independent T-test was used to compare differences between perceptions of locals and tourists with regard to restaurant quality under two categories (price and brand reputation) after they selected a restaurant. Results of this study revealed that residency did not have a significant impact on customers' perceptions of price or brand reputation, whereas restaurant attributes did have an impact. Taste was a predictor of perceived price, whereas service and atmosphere were predictors of brand reputation. In addition, comparison of restaurant attributes between locals and tourists showed that sanitation and service were significantly different in accordance with price and atmosphere, whereas taste and service were significantly different in accordance with brand reputation. Locals showed higher means for each restaurant attribute compared to tourists.

TV 홈쇼핑 의류 자체상표의 자산형성 연구 (A Study on the Equity Formation of Apparel Private Brand with TV Home-shopping)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the equity formation of private apparel brand according the service quality of TV home-shopping. A questionnaire was designed for the survey and the subjects were 383 female adults in Seoul and the Kyongnam province, Korea. The statistical analyses were carried out in the forms of frequency, factor analysis and path analysis of SPSS WIN 14.0. The findings throughout the research are as follows; First, the underwear sets and single item apparel sets with private brand had been well sold at better price. Second, the service quality of TV home shopping was perceived as the four factors of safety, contents, informative faculty and reliability. The reliability and contents factors had higher effects on the equity formation of private apparel brand. Third, the brand image, perceived quality, brand recognition as the cognitive dimension had influenced on the hedonic and utilitarian attitudes. The hedonic attitude and perceived quality had a great deal influence on the purchasing intend as the last behavior dimension.

What drives Indonesians Subscribe and Push the Distribution of Disney+ Hotstar?

  • Purpose: This study aims to test the influence of brand relationship, price, content, brand awareness, and electronic Word-Of-Mouth (eWOM) on willingness to pay for the subscription fee of Disney+ Hotstar. As the latest streaming service provider in Indonesia, Disney + Hotstar under Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution has actively conducted strategies to strengthen the brand and attract consumers. Research design, data and methodology: Structural Equation Modelling with WarpPLS approach was used to assess the proposed model gathering data from 316 people who have ever known about Disney+ Hotstar through an online survey using measurement items from previous literature. Results: Most responses were obtained from millennial generations. Findings demonstrated that brand relationships, price, content, and brand awareness positively influenced willingness to pay for the subscription fee whereas eWOM showed a negative and insignificant influence on the willingness to pay for the subscription fee. Conclusions: The most significant factor towards willingness to pay a for subscription fee is price, followed by brand awareness, brand relationship, and content. The result of this study may be used as a guide for professionals in the streaming service industry to better implement their strategies in influencing people to have the willingness to subscribe.

모바일 서비스에서 브랜드 확장이 모 브랜드에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Brand Extension on Parent Brand in Mobile Service)

  • 본 연구는 브랜드 확장 전략을 모바일 서비스 시장 내에서 사용했을 경우의 그 영향에 대해서 탐구하고자 한다. 오프라인 시장과 온라인 시장에서 브랜드 확장 전략의 활용이나 중요성에 대한 많은 연구가 진행되어진 것에 비해서 최근 급속도로 성장한 모바일 서비스와 관련되어서는 그 연구가 미흡하여왔다. 이를 위해서 본 연구에서는 모바일 서비스 시장에서 소비자의 사용의도를 파악하는데 적합한 것으로 확인된 기술수용모델을 사용해서 모바일 서비스의 사용의도를 확인하고, 그 과정에 지각된 유용성과 지각된 용이성, 확장 브랜드의 사용의도가 모 브랜드의 지속적 사용의도에 미치는 영향에 대해서 확인하였다. 그 결과 본 연구에서는 기술수용모델이 모바일 서비스의 사용의도 파악에 유효한 모델임을 재확인하고, 결정 변인들의 영향을 확인함으로써 마케터들이 모바일 서비스 환경에서 전략을 수행하는데 있어 도움이 될 기반들과 확장 브랜드의 지각된 용이성이 모 브랜드의 지속적 사용의도에 정(+)의 영향을 준다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

병원 브랜드아이덴티티의 필요성과 서비스가치 관련성에 대한 소비자들의 인식 (Recognition of Customers on Necessity of Hospital Brand Identity and Service Value)

  • 본 연구는 소비자들에게 병원에 대한 긍정적 감정이나 감정적 공감을 형성화하기 위한 효율적인 홍보내용을 제시하고자 병원 브랜드아이덴티티의 필요성과 서비스가치와의 관련성에 대한 소비자들의 인식을 살펴본 결과, 병원의 홍보내용인 브랜드아이덴티티에 대한 필요성은 시설환경, 의료서비스 특성화부문, 병원의 규모, 의사의 명성 순으로 인식하고 있었는데, 실질적인 병원이용이 낮은 경우에 병원의 홍보내용인 브랜드아이덴티티의 필요성을 더 높게 인식하고 있었다. 또한 병원브랜드아이덴티티의 서비스가치와의 관련성에 병원 홍보내용인 브랜드아이덴티티에 대한 필요성이 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 병원의 규모와 의사의 명성에 대한 필요성이 유의하게 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 요인이었다. 따라서 중소병원들이 소비자들과의 관계에서 긍정적이고 감정적인 공감을 형성할 수 있는 홍보내용을 제시하기 위해서는 이러한 소비자들의 의견을 고려하여 각 병원들이 갖고 있는 고유한 특색을 찾아내는 과정이 중요할 것이며, 이러한 작업은 효율적 마케팅을 위해 가치가 있을 것으로 사료된다.
