T-DMB(Terrestrial-Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) for portable and mobile broadcasting service was officially launched in the metropolitan area of Korea in December 2005. The development of interactive data services and the expansion of T-DMB network have been now progressed, and the regional T-DMB broadcasters will be selected in the near future. Although it is important to evaluate service area and reduce a fringe area for optimizing RF coverage of T-DMB, there was no professional system to support those works, and therefore lots of resources in budget, manpower and time were required. The measurement considering characteristics of SFN(Single Frequency Network) is essential in the implementation of T-DMB network which needs to control synchronization, spacing and output power of transmitters. In addition, mobile measurement, enough measured parameters for many-sided analysis of reception quality, efficient management of enormous measured data and representation of measured results on the electronic map are also important in evaluating service area. In this paper, we derived requirements for a new measurement system in T-DMB by considering the above details, and we proposed and developed an integrated measurement and analysis system. The developed system was applied to the implementation of T-DMB network of KBS and field tests, and it proved its efficiency and accuracy in result.

In this study, to enhance the applicability of the black current as a natural pigment and functional material, a jelly was produced by adding 0 %, 3 %, 6 %, 9 %, and 12 % of the black current powder. The pH and moisture content of the black currant jelly decreased with the addition of the black currant powder, while the sweetness($^{\circ}brix%$) of the jelly increased with the addition of the black currant powder. The chromaticity of the jelly was reduced as the black current powder was added, as the L value and b value increased. Texture measurement score in terms of hardness, chewiness and brittleness of groups with 3% and 6% black currant powder were significantly higher when compared to the control group. The contents of total polyphenol, DPPH radical scavenging activity, and NSA radical scavenging activity of groups by the addition of black currant powder were higher than those of control group. The anthocyanin contents increased proportionally with increasing levels of black currant powder. The sensory evaluation scores in terms of after swallowing, appearance, odor, taste, texture, and overall preference of groups with 6% and 9% black currant powder. Also, the anti oxidative activity and anthocyanine pigment in black current powder are highly visible even after the heating process, so it may be helpful to enhance the functionality of jelly by using natural colors that are highly antioxidants in jelly manufacture.

The purpose of this study was to identify the importance and performance ranking and differences in inflight meal service quality. Data were collected from A airlines passengers. In order to secure the validity and reliability of the measurement tools, exploratory factor analysis were conducted, accordingly meal, service, cleanliness were deduced. IPA results are as follows. First, the quadrant I consisted of meal flavor, meal quality, meal menu, balanced diet, korean food availability, cleanliness of dishes, cleanliness of crew clothes. In the II quadrant, appropriate temperature, appropriateness of meal distribute time, cleanliness of the meal were found. So, the airline managers should have the most interest in these attributes and had to improve first. The quadrant III showed meal quantity, liquor diversity, polite attitude, immediate response to the meal, knowledge of the meal, meal freshness. Lastly, the quadrant IV showed a variety of beverage and special meal order. It is considered that resource allocation is necessary for minimizing the amount of resources invested to the quadrant IV, and then it should be allocated the quadrant II, which is high in importance but low in performance.

Recently, the transition from conventional analog broadcasting to digital broadcasting has been proceeding as a result of the advance in digital multimedia broadcasting technique. In radio broadcasting, Eureka-147 DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) was decided as the standard system of digital radio broadcasting in Korea. In addition to CD quality audio, a variety of data services and excellent performance in mobile reception can be served by DAB, and DAB was evolved into DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) in Korea for the purpose of emphasizing moving picture multimedia service by DAB. In case of digital broadcasting, it is absolutely essential to measure the BER(Bit Error Rate) in the received signal in order to evaluate the coverage obtained by a transmitter and the quality of the received signal. In this paper, we propose efficient subchannel data structure and BER measurement algorithm. and then verify it by laboratory experiments. With a proposed method, the synchronization for BER measurement is easily obtained and especially the exact results can be obtained by classifying the lost bits which are included in the reception-failed CIFs(Common Interleaved Frame) into errors. This makes the proposed BER measurement system especially appropriate to DMB in which the frequent changes in channel status caused by mobile reception environment exist.

Historical interest in dielectric properties of agricultural products and definitions of dielectric terms and basic principles governing their influence on elelctromagnetic energy are presented briefly . The nature of dielectric properties variation with frequency, temperature , and product density is discussed, Graphical data on the dielectric properties of products are presented that illustrate the dependence of these properties on moisture content, frequency, temperature, and density. Applications microwave dielectric properties of agricultural products are cited that include radio-frequency (RF) and microwave heating for seed treatment, improvement of nutritional and keeping qualities of some products, and controlling insects in grain. Uses of dielectric properties for product quality measurement and the rapid determination of moisture content are described. Principle of moisture determination in bulk grain by RF and microwave measurements are briefly presented.

IP 망에서 Qos(Quality of Service)를 보장하기 위하여 요구되는 것이 수락 제어이다. 기존의 수락 제어 메커니즘은 크게 RSVP(Resource Reservation Protocol) 시그널링 방법과 MBAC(Measurement Based Admission Control)로 분류된다. 첫번째 방법의 경우 코어 망에서 각 플로우마다 상태를 유지해야 하는 확장성 문제때문에 적용이 쉽지 않고, 두 번째 방법의 경우 긴 경로를 가진 플로우의 경우 짧은 경로를 가진 플로우에 비해 블록킹 확률이 높아지는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 IP 코어 망에서 사용자의 QoS 요구사항과 서로 다른 경로상의 플로우간 블록킹 확률의 공평성을 위한 TPED MBAC(Two-Phase Edge-to-Edge Distributed Measurement Based Admission Control) 메커니즘을 제안한다. 이 MBAC 메커니즘은 수락 제어를 Quantitative Provisioning 단계와 Qualitative Provisioning 단계로 나누어 수행하며 프로빙 패킷 전송을 위해 홉 카운터에 기반 한 WRR(Weighted Round-Robin) 스케쥴링을 적용함으로써 각 플로우간의 블록킹 확률의 공평성을 제어할 수 있는 메커니즘이다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the home-health-care workers licensing education course in Seoul, Korea. Based on the previous research, a conceptual model was suggested explaining the dynamics of perceived educational service quality (SERVQUAL), educational satisfaction and the occupational readiness. The data set for this study drawn from the 297 self-administered surveys were analyzed with the suggested conceptual model by utilizing AMOS program. The measurement models and conceptual model fit well with the collected data set. As results of this study, 5 domains of SERVQUAL were produced including accountability, trustiness, responsiveness, sympathy, and assurance. The results of structural modeling with latent variables confirmed that SERVQUAL were influenced perceived educational satisfaction as well as occupational readiness. Among the SERVQUAL domains, accountability, trustiness, responsiveness, and assurance had significant impacts on the educational satisfaction while accountability, trustiness and responsiveness had significant direct effects on the occupational readiness. The trustiness had significant indirect effects on the occupational readiness via the educational satisfaction. Hence, the educational satisfaction had the significant impacts on the occupational readiness. Based on the findings of this study, we suggest to intense the educational program or curricular focusing on the SERVQUAL elements. Those changes will enhance self-confidence among the prospective home-health-care workers as well as public trustiness on the national long-term care program.

The online stock transactions are gaining popularity at an incredible speed these days as more and more investors are adopting Internet as a new and convenient way of handling such transactions. As a consequence, the market for online stock exchange services is getting increasingly competitive; measuring and managing the quality of such services have become a crucial issue to the survival and growth of the stock brokerage houses. Unfortunately, however, little research effort to date has been made as to developing a set of valid and reliable measures for assessing investor perceptions of the quality of the online stock exchange service. The present study generates and tests a new set of multi-item measures for the quality of the online stock exchange service from an investor's perspective. This set of measures can be used in various stages and aspects of formulating online marketing strategies for stock brokerage firms. Marketing implications of this instrument for service providers are discussed.

This study aims to propose an assessment tool of port service quality (PSQ) in the context of container transport logistics (CTLs), by taking the perspectives from port users. The CTLs defined in this study are the relevant activities of serving the physical flows of a container box from a point of origin via a container port to a point of destination. To address the ports' role in collaboration between its channel members in CTLs, the PSQ measures for all port user groups (i.e. common PSQ measures) are selected based on the relevant CTLs activities involved by port, and its users within terminal/port area as well as throughout the CTLs chain. An importance-performance analysis (IPA) is applied as a diagnostic tool to analyse the status quo of Busan Port in CTLs contexts, by comparing the importance and performance (IP ) scores against each individual CTLs criterion. The findings from the IPA reveal that port managers and policy makers at the Busan Port should concentrate on six PSQ measures (i.e. SR1, SR4, ITS1, VAS1, VAS4, ICI3) to enhance PSQ in CTLs. However, four measures (i.e. ITS2, ITS3, ITS4, VAS2) are identified as a possible overkill, indicating an area of inefficiency where a remedial action of the cost-cutting decision is necessary. On the other hand, the Busan port shows an outstanding performance on four measures such as SR2, SR3, ICI1 and ICI2. The measures are not only important but also high performance. The study findings provide managerial guidance to port managers in Busan Port, in view of searching for managerial and operational strategies for sustainable port growth.

For the purpose of enhancing performances, many companies have tried to ensure the competitive advantages in ties with organization's strategy by putting effort in designing, developing and practicing the information system. Despite the information oriented small and medium enterprises (SME) being suffered from lack of funds, professional man-power and poor environment, fairly evaluating the level of information system within an organization can be a positive starting point for information oriented SME. Therefore in this study, for the purpose of using the SERVQUAL as a measurement tool provided by information system department under the environment of using information system, we try to free from the marketing oriented service category and develop models that are applicable in the information system environment to check reliability and validity. As a result, it is analyzed that enhancements of SERVQUAL simultaneously improves system and information quality which makes the employees satisfy with their working environments and sequentially affects to the collaborative performance of using information system.
