In this paper, we study and develope a special secure Dongle to be adapted in GSM SmartPhone for secure voice communication to the serial 20-pin connector in SmartPhone. We design and implement the Dongle module hardware, firmware, and software including cipher crypto-synchronization and cipher algorithm. Also we study and emulate the SmartPhone GUI software interface including communication software module to the Dongle. Finally, we analyze the performances of crypto-synchronization in some noisy environment and also we test the secure Dongle module.

Though limited, Model Human Processor (MHP) has been used to explain the complex users' behaviors during human-computer interactions in a simplified manner. MHP consists of perceptual, cognitive and motor systems, each with processors and memories interacting with each other in serial or parallel mode. The important parameters of memory include the storage capacity, the decay time, and the code type of a memorized item. The important parameter of a processor is the cycle time. Using these features of the model, this study developed a computerized cognitive process simulator to predict the cognitive process time of a class match task process. An experimental validity test result showed that the mean prediction time for cognitive process of the class match task simulated 50 times by the simulator was consistent with the mean cognitive process time of the same task performed by 37 subjects. Animation of the data flow during the class match task simulation will help understand the invisible human cognitive process.

In this paper, GU environmental controller is implemented with USB(Universal serial bus) IF(interface). Especially, the performance examination of ultrasound diagnostic device which connects external USB port with front panel is automatically inspected by VC++ examination program. The test program minimizes the operation of inspector with making the examined result audible or visible, and maximizes the productivity of custom device. The GUI environmental controller controls a standard keyboard, a track ball with dedicated buttons to emulate a standard two-button mouse, switches, rotary encoders, an analog potentiometer group, two alpha-numeric displays. and a touch screen; all of which generate events for the host.

To test the efficacies of thiosulfate in cyanide poisoning with or without oxygen, after the administration of sublethal dose of potassium cyanide, serial arterial blood samples were collected during 60 minutes in 15 rabbits. Cyanide ion concentrations were measured by Conway cell microdiffusion method, and arterial oxygen tensions were also observed. Comparison of elimination constants showed that arterial blood cyanide ion concentration decreased most rapidly in the thiosulfate with oxygen-administered group. The elimination of cyanide ion by the action of thiosulfate in acutely poisoned rabbit accelerated probably due to oxygen and elimination pattern seems to occur by first-order elimination kinetics.

This study finds out and suggests success factors for the application of RIMS project through the case study of Seoul Metro and literature survey. The successful application of RIMS needs expert knowledge and concept of BOM, standardization of maintenance planning, check lists of heavy maintenance inspection, organization structure of rolling stock maintenance offices, material management system of warehousing and the process of parts repairing between offices, connection of material ordering system, problem solving of circular spare parts administration among inspection, maintenance, and material organizational units, systemic serial number management of parts with RFID, daily closing diary connected with work process chart, and sufficient period of RIMS's test run. RIMS contributes to real time management of rolling stock maintenance, transparency of management, reliability of train operation, customer satisfaction, and management innovation.

Statistical process control is used widely as an effective tool to solve the quality problems in practice fields. All the control charts used in statistical process control are parametric methods, suppose that the process distributes normal and observations are independent. But these assumptions, practically, are often violated if the test of normality of the observations is rejected and/or the serial correlation is existed within observed data. Thus, in this study, to screening process, the Combined Shewhart - CUSUM quality control chart is described and evaluated that used bootstrap method. In this scheme the CUSUM chart will quickly detect small shifts form the goal while the addition of Shewhart limits increases the speed of detecting large shifts. Therefor, the CSC control chart is detected both small and large shifts in process, and the simulation results for its performance are exhibited. The bootstrap CSC control chart proposed in this paper is superior to the standard method for both normal and skewed distribution, and brings in terms of ARL to the same result.

In this paper we consider optimal designs of partially constant-stress life testing which is deviced for three-component mixed systems with the considerably long time. Mixed systems are jointed serial system with parallel system. Test items are run at both use condition and accelerated condition until a specified censoring time. The optimal criterion for the sample-proportion allocated to accelerated condition is to minimized asymptotic variance of the maximum likelihood estimators of the acceleration factor and hazard rates.

In this paper, we implement the volume pulse detection system which can quantitatively represent an artery elasticity. The system consists of transducer which has IRLED-photodiode detecter, temperature sensor, filters, preprocessing circuits, A/D converter, serial communication part and computer system. In order to presume the artery elasticity information we measure the volume pulse at four points and then evaluate the transition time, distance and the correlation coefficient of the pulse wave between the points. We test the system with 10 subjects during the week for basic experiment and obtain the data at four points. As the result of experiment, we can detect normalized volume pulse wave and evaluated parameter with effectively.

Hemifacial spasm (HFS) may develop after Bell's palsy (BP). But it was not reported that contralateral HFS occurred simultaneously in acute BP. A 25-year-old woman admitted with left HFS occurred simultaneously in acute right BP for 6 days. Past, family, and social history were unremarkable. Nerve conduction studies (NCS) and blink reflex (BR) test showed bilateral facial neuropathies. Brain MRI and cerebral angiography were normal. The symptoms and signs of HFS and BP were improved slowly after acyclovir and prednisolone therapy. Follow-up serial NCS and BR also showed a rapid improvement.

This paper describes the development of pulse code modulation(PCM) data recorder with design, implementation and environmental test. PCM serial data that diverged from telemetry encoder output is used as the input and is reformed to parallel signal through FPGA processing. Controllers construct the packet by the sector and record it into non-volatile memory. Compact flash(CF) memory for data storage media, USB interface for data downloading, and a software for operating status diagnosis and file format conversion are used.
