In this paper, the method of interference analysis and its simulation have been suggested for the frequency sharing between aeronautical radio navigation systems and Link-16 platforms. In order to get the criteria for interoperability, the algorithm of interference analysis and protection ratio are derived to assure frequency sharing. Also the receiving power of wireless system has been illustrated with the help of radio propagation model of ITU-R Rec. P.1546 in VHF-UHF band. Finally the required receiving power or separation distance between DME/TACAN beacons and Link-16 ground station terminals has been considered based on system link budget in terms of evaluating interoperability as well as actual applications. As a result, if the suggested interference analysis and test set-up are applied to the field trial, it will lead to easy means to make a decision on interoperability over the existing incumbent systems.

With the advent of high speed networking technology, computers connected to the high-speed networks tend to consume more of their CPU cycles to process data. So one of the solutions to improve the performance of the computers is to reduce the CPU cycles for processing the data. As the consumption of the CPU cycles is increased in proportion to the number of the packets per second to be processed, reducing the number of the packets per second by increasing the length of the packet is one of the solutions. In order to meet this requirement, two types of jumbo packets such as jumbograms and jumbo frames have already been standardized or being discussed. In case that the jumbograms and general packets are interleaved and scheduled together in a router, the jumbogrms may deteriorate the QoS of the general packets due to the transfer delay. They also frequently exhaust the memory with storing the huge length of the packets. This produces the congestion state easily in the router that results in the loss of the packets. In this paper, we analyze the problems in processing the jumbo packets and suggest a noble solution to overcome the problems.
A new proposed method can separate heart sounds and lung sounds by the realization of adaptive noise canceler using adaptive lattice Wiener filter in contrast to adaptive transversal LMS filter and high pass filter as before. Lung sounds and ECG signal are detected for this purpose, and especially the second heart sounds are reduced by finding T wave location with a T wave seeking algorithm. As a result, for heart sounds reduction It was found that adaptive transversal LMS filter required 100-200's orders, 75-100's orders In adaptive transversal MLMS filter, and only 10-20's orders in adaptive lattice Wiener filter. Adaptive filtering technique has shown greater accuracy than high pass filtering without loss of low frequency component.
In this paper, we propose a spatial filtering scheme using factorial kriging, one of geostatistical filtering methodin order to separate regional and residual gravity anomaly. This scheme is based on the assumption that regional anomalies have longer distance relation and residual anomalies have effected on smaller range. We decomposed gravity anomalies intotwo variogram models with long and short effectiveranges by means of factorial kriging. And decomposed variogram models produced the regional and residual anomalies. This algorithm was examined using by a synthetic gravity data, and applied to a real microgravity data to figure out abandoned mineshaft.
The behaviour of alloys in the semi-solid state strongly depends on the imposed stress state and on the morphology of the phase which can vary from dendritic to globular. To optimal net shape forging of semi-solid materials, it is important to investigate for filling phenomena in forging process of arbitrarily shaped dies. To produce a automotive part which has good mechanical property, the filling pattern according to die velocity and solid fraction distribution has to be estimated for arbitrarily shaped dies. Therefore, the estimation of filling characteristic in the forging simulation with arbitrarily shaped dies of semi-solid materials are calculated by finite element method with proposed algorithm. The proposed theoretical model and a various boundary conditions for arbitrarily shaped dies is investigated with the coupling calculation between the liquid phase flow and the solid phase deformation. The simulation process with arbitrarily shaped dies is performed to the isothermal conditions of two dimensional problems. To analysis of forging process by using semi-solid materials, a new stress-strain relationship is described, and forging analysis is performed by viscoelastic model for the solid phase and the Darcy's law for the liquid flow. The calculated results for forging force and filling limitations will be compared to experimental data. The filling simulation of simple products performed with the uniform billet temperature(584$^{\circ}C$) from the induction heating by the commercial package MAGMAsoft. The initial step of computation is the touching of semi-solid material with the end of die gate and the initial concept of proposed system just fit with the capability of MAGMAsoft.

A predictive controller is designed based upon stochastic methods for compensation time-delay effect on a system which has inherent time-delay caused by the spatial separation between controllers and actuators. The predictive controller estimates current outputs through linear prediction methods and probability functions utilizing previous outputs, and minimizes the malicious phenomena caused by the time-delay in precision control systems. To demonstrate effectiveness of this control methodology, we applied this algorithm for the control of a tele-operated DC servomotor. The experimental results show that this predictive controller is superior to the PID controller in terms of convergence-characteristics, and show that this controller expands the maximum allowable time-delay for a system maintaining the stability. Since the proposed predictor does not require models of plants - it requires only stochastic information for outputs --, it is a general scheme which can be applied for the control of systems which are difficult to model or the compensator of PID control.

Background: At present, the diagnosis of colorectal cancer (CRC) requires a colorectal biopsy which is an invasive procedure. We undertook this pilot study to develop an alternative method and potential new biomarkers for diagnosis, and validated a set of well-integrated tools called ClinProt to investigate the serum peptidome in CRC patients. Methods: Fasting blood samples from 67 patients diagnosed with CRC by histological diagnosis, 55 patients diagnosed with colorectal adenoma by biopsy, and 65 healthy volunteers were collected. Division was into a model construction group and an external validation group randomly. The present work focused on serum proteomic analysis of model construction group by ClinProt Kit combined with mass spectrometry. This approach allowed construction of a peptide pattern able to differentiate the studied populations. An external validation group was used to verify the diagnostic capability of the peptidome pattern blindly. An immunoassay method was used to determine serum CEA of CRC and controls. Results: The results showed 59 differential peptide peaks in CRC, colorectal adenoma and health volunteers. A genetic algorithm was used to set up the classification models. Four of the identified peaks at m/z 797, 810, 4078 and 5343 were used to construct peptidome patterns, achieving an accuracy of 100% (> CEA, P<0.05). Furthermore, the peptidome patterns could differentiate the validation group with high accuracy close to 100%. Conclusions: Our results showed that proteomic analysis of serum with MALDI-TOF MS is a fast and reproducible approach, which may provide a novel approach to screening for CRC.
This paper describes the development and implementation of a algorithm to decompose word images from image regions mixed text/graphics in document images using statistical analyses. To decompose word images from image regions, the character components need to be separated from graphic components. For this process, we propose a method to separate them with an analysis of box-plot using a statistics of structural components. An accuracy of this method is not sensitive to the changes of images because the criterion of separation is defined by the statistics of components. And then the character regions are determined by analyzing a local crowdedness of the separated character components. finally, we devide the character regions into text lines and word images using projection profile analysis, gap clustering, special symbol detection, etc. The proposed system could reduce the influence resulted from the changes of images because it uses the criterion based on the statistics of image regions. Also, we made an experiment with the proposed method in document image processing system for keyword spotting and showed the necessity of studying for the proposed method.
In this paper, the k-nearest templates method is proposed to combine multiple classifiers effectively. First, the method decomposes training samples of each class into several subclasses based on the outputs of classifiers to represent a class as multiple models, and estimates a localized template by averaging the outputs for each subclass. The distances between a test sample and templates are then calculated. Lastly, the test sample is assigned to the class that is most frequently represented among the k most similar templates. In this paper, C-means clustering algorithm is used as the decomposition method, and k is automatically chosen according to the intra-class compactness and inter-class separation of a given data set. Since the proposed method uses multiple models per class and refers to k models rather than matches with the most similar one, it could obtain stable and high accuracy. In this paper, experiments on UCI and ELENA database showed that the proposed method performed better than conventional fusion methods.

Since a protein displays its specific functions when disorder region of protein sequence transits to order region with provoking a biological reaction, the separation of disorder region and order region from the sequence data is urgently necessary for predicting three dimensional structure and characteristics of the protein. To classify the disorder and order region efficiently, this paper proposes a classification/prediction method using sequence data while acquiring a non-biased result on a specific characteristics of protein and improving the classification speed. The emerging patterns based EPs-TFP methods utilizes only the essential emerging pattern in which the redundant emerging patterns are removed. This classification method finds the sequence patterns of disorder region, such sequence patterns are frequently shown in disorder region but relatively not frequently in the order region. We expand P-tree and T-tree conceptualized TFP method into a classification/prediction method in order to improve the performance of the proposed algorithm. We used Disprot 4.9 and CASP 7 data to evaluate EPs-TFP technique, the results of order/disorder classification show sensitivity 73.6, specificity 69.51 and accuracy 74.2.
