뒷산 체험 활동이 아동의 환경 감수성과 인지 능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Forest Experience on Elementary Students' Environmental Sensitivity and Cognition Ability)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the forest experience on elementary students' environmental sensitivity and cognition ability. The forest experience was applied to the experimental group and the control group was taught by the traditional teaching method focused on teachers' lecture for 8 lessons. The pre-test, the 1st, and 2nd post-test for environmental sensitivity were applied to both groups to analyze the effects of the forest experience. After then the results were analyzed by One-way ANOVA and ANCOVA. And the narration test for cognition ability on learning a environmental context was applied to only the experimental group and the results were analyzed. As a result, the students' environmental sensitivity was not significantly different(p<.05) between experimental and control groups in terms of the pre-test score. However, the 1st and 2nd post-test scores of experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group in term of the level of environmental sensitivity(F=9.28, p<.01, F=10.95, p<.01). The results of the forest experience in the aspect of cognition ability, 'the sound of nature(61%)', 'the smiling forest path which blooming out(57%)', and 'one's own places(52%) were high but 'the kinds and characteristics of the roots(30%)' was low. In conclusion, the forest experience made a positive effect on the students' environmental sensitivity and cognition ability through the direct observation, data collection, and analysis on the nearby natural environment.

The Sensitivity Comparison of Immunodiagnostic Assays for Diagnosing Dengue Fever

  • Dengue fever is a vector borne disease caused by a dengue virus. It is an RNA virus of the family flaviviridae, with different serotypes. Herein, we report our attempt to carry out a sensitivity comparison of immunodiagnostic assays for dengue fever in dengue positive patients. Blood samples from 189 volunteers were collected. To determine the sensitivity of the NS1 test, two different types of tests-immunochromatographic tri-line test and rapid dengue test (RDT)-as well as IgM and IgG capture ELISA were performed. The result of RDT has shown that 59.7% of volunteers were IgM positive and 50.2% were IgG positive. Conversely, the results from capture ELISA shows 79.8% and 59.7% for IgM and IgG, respectively. The sensitivity of the capture ELISA test for IgM and IgG was higher than that of immunochromatographic tri-line rapid test, but the specificity was lower. Therefore, to confirm dengue fever, we recommend performing more detailed, investigative tests since a single test may not be sufficient.

대학생의 성지식과 성태도가 성인지 감수성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Sexual Knowledge and Sexual Attitude of General College Students on Gender Sensitivity)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 성지식, 성태도와 성인지 감수성과의 관계를 확인하고, 성인지 감수성에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 서술적 연구이다. 연구 대상자는 139명의 일반 대학생으로 자가 보고 설문지를 통해 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA 및 Schffe test로 분석하였다. 일반 대학생의 성지식 평균은 38점 만점에 22.73점이었고, 성태도는 5점 만점에 2.92점이었다. 성인지 감수성은 평균 5점 만점에 2.03점이었다. 연구 결과, 성인지 감수성은 성태도와 양의 상관관계가 있었으며(r=.201, p=.018), 일반 대학생의 성인지 감수성에 영향을 미치는 요인은 성태도(𝛽=.196, p=.021)로 나타났으며, 설명력은 34.0%였다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 일반 대학생의 성인지 감수성을 높이기 위해 올바른 성태도를 확립할 수 있는 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

1형과 2형 당뇨모델 흰쥐에서 Chromium Picolinate의 당내성과 인슬린 감수성에 대한 영향 (Effect of Chromium Picolinate on Glucose Tolerance and Insulin Sensitivity in the Type I and II Diabetic Rats)

  • Chromium is an essential nutrient and participates in glucose and lipid metabolism in human beings and animals. The present study was conducted to assess the effects of chromium picolinate (Cr-pic) on glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity in type I and ll diabetic rats. The experimental groups were type I diabetic (streptozotocin-induced: 40 mg/kg, i.p.) and type II diabetic (Goto-Kakizaki rats) models. Each group was subdivided into control. low-dose and high-dose of Cr-pic treated groups. The Cr-pic was orally administered with Cr-pic (100 mg/kg for low dose group and 200 mg/kg for high dose group) for 4 weeks. And then we performed intraperitoneal glucose tolerance test (IPGTT) and insulin sensitivity test (ITT). The glucose tolerance test was carried out by inection of glucose (2 g/kg, i.p.). The peripheral insulin sensitivity test was con- ducted by injection of insulin (5 units/kg, s.c.) and glucose. We performed determining of blood glucose concentration at 0, 10, 30, 60, 90, and 120 min using automated glucose analyzer. The plasma insulin concentration was determined by rat insulin EIA kit. Administration of Cr-pic improved weight gain in all group s with higher significant in the low-dose group. There was no significance between the control and the Cr-pic treated groups in the area under the blood glucose curve and serum insulin concentration plots of IPGTT and peripheral ITT in type I diabetic rats. But Cr-pic treated groups showed significantly lower levels of the area under the blood glucose currie during IPGTT and ITT and the high-dose group showed less effects compared with the low-dose group in the type II diabetic rats. The plasma insulin concentration of both diabetic groups was not influenced by Cr-pic supplementation. We can conclude that chromium picolinate may improve the endogenous and exogenous insulin action and peripheral insulin sensitivity in type II diabetic rats.

항균성물질(抗菌性物質) 감수성시험(感受性試驗)의 시간단축(時間短縮)과 임상적응용(臨床的應用) (A Drug Sensitivity Test for Shortening of Detection Time)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the modified drug sensitivity test for the shortening of detection time and clinical application. The results obtained were summarized as follows. 1. Inhibitory zone in 6 strains of Staphylococcus and Escherichia coli tested to sensitivity teat were reached at 100% between 2 and 6 hours. 2. The sensitivity test of Staphylococcus A, B and E. coli No. 2, No. 3 to antibacterial ointment drugs were strong positive(+++), but Staphylococcus A. A. and E. coli No. 1 were mild resistant(+). 3. The sensitivity test of Staphylococcus A. B and E. coli No. 2, No. 3 to antibacterial injection drugs in 6 hours after treatment were strong positive(+++), and Staphylococcus A. A. and E. coli No. 1 were moderate positive(++). 4. This modified method was detected 86% degree of sensitive between 7 to 12 hours after treatment. 5. We think this modified method was more practical compare to other methods.

An Investigation of X-ray pulsation searches: Weighted vs unweighted H test

  • Timing analysis에서 pulsar 또는 magnetar의 pulsation 측정은 background 또는 주변의 다른 source의 영향으로 매우 세밀하게 측정을 진행해야 할 수 있다. 하지만 gamma-ray 영역에서는 instrument의 낮은 imaging resolution으로 인해 likeihood 분석법을 사용하며, pulsation측정의 sensitivity를 향상시키기 위해 weighted H-test를 적용하고 있다. weighted H-test는 Instrument의 responses와 source, background의 radiational properties를 이용하여 각 photon의 probability를 계산하고 이를 weight하여 pulsation detection의 sensitivity를 향상시키는 방법으로 이번 연구를 통해 이를 X-ray에서 적용할 수 있도록 확장하였다. 이번 발표에서는 X-ray 데이터 중 상대적으로 낮은 imaging resolution을 갖는 XMM-Newton data에 weighted H-test를 적용하여 기존의 H-test와의 차이를 비교해보고, weighted H-test가 갖는 이점에 대하여 논의하고자 한다.

Sensitivity Analysis of Anti-resonance Frequency for Vibration Test Control of a Fixture

  • The test specimen in environmental vibration test is connected to the fixture through several attachment points. The forces generated by the shaker must be transmitted equally to all attachment points. The forces transmitted to attachment points, however, are different because of the flexural vibration of the fixture. The variations of the transmitted force cause the under-test, especially at anti-resonance frequencies, in vibration test control. Anti-resonance frequencies at the attachment points of the fixture must be same in order to avoid the under-test in vibration test control. The structural modification of the fixture is needed so that anti-resonance frequencies at attachment points have the same value. In this paper, the method to calculate the anti-resonance frequencies and those sensitivities is presented. This sensitivity analysis is applied to the structural modification of the fixture excited at multi-points by the shaker. The antiresonance frequencies at the attachment points of the fixture can have the same value after structural modification, and the under-test in the vibration test control can be removed. Several computer simulations show that the proposed method can remove the under-tests, which are not removed in conventional vibration test control.

형산강 유역 포항 통합시 근로자들에 있어서 간흡충 감염상 및 초음파검사와 피내반응검사의 정확도 (Evaluation of sonography and skin test in diagnosis of clonorchiasis at the Hyongsan-gang (River) area)

  • 간흡충증의 진단에 흔히 쓰이는 초음파검사의 민감도와 특이도를 알아보기 위하여 1994년 3월부터 11월까지 유행지역인 형산강 유역 포항 통합시 근로자 609명을 대상으로 피내반응검사. 대변검사. 초음파검사 및 설문조사를 시행하였다. 초음파검사에서 진단적인 소견으로 간내 담관의 확장만을 인정할 경우의 민감도는 21%이었고, 담관주위 에코가 있는 경우까지 포함하면 민감도는 52%이었다. 피내반응검사의 민감도는 62%이었다. 피내반응검사 양성이면서 초음파 소견이 하나라도 있는 경우를 진단기준으로 삼으면 민감도는 46%이었다 본 조사에서는 간흡충 혹은 간흡충의 집합체에 의해 생성되는 것으로 알려진 초음파검사상 방추상이고 약하게 반향을 보이는 담관이나 담낭내의 비음영의 초점이 뚜렷하게 보이는 환자는 없었다. 초음파검사의 특이도는 간내 담관의 확장만을 진단적 소견으로 인정할 경우 95%. 담관주의 에코까지 진단적 소견에 포함하면 83%이었다. 피내반응검사의 특이도는 52%이었다. 피내반응검사 양성이면서 초음파 소견이 하나 라도 있는 경우를 진단기준으로 삼으면 특이도는 90%이었다.

  • In this present study, to performed the model test and estimated the behavior characteristics of twin tunnel in accordance with the variation of the whole failure parameters which is the strength of the ground, distance of tunnel, angle of the joint, installation of tension bolts and the blasting load. To carry out the numerical analysis for verification of model test results and analyze the sensitivity on failure parameters using model test and numerical analysis results. Based on sensitivity analysis results, to propose the most habitually failure parameters in tunnel scale model test.

고전압 기폭관의 노화 특성 연구 (Study on Aging Characteristics of Exploding Foil Initiator)

  • 고전압 기폭관의 노화 특성에 관하여 연구하였다. 노화 특성 관측을 위해 먼저 고전압 기폭관의 주요 구성품을 분류하고, 고장 메커니즘을 정의하였다. 위력과 감도 측면에서 노화 특성을 정의하였으며, HFC (Heat Flow Calorimetry)를 통해 계산된 활성화 에너지와 아레니우스 이론을 기반으로 가속노화시험 계획을 수립하였다. 노화된 시료를 이용하여 민감도 시험인 Neyer Test와 위력시험인 Dent Test를 통하여 성능 변화를 관측하였다. 민감도 시험을 통해 구한 반폭점에서 노화 경향을 관찰하였으나 관련 규격을 고려하면 충분히 긴 수명을 가지고 있는 것으로 분석되었다.
