Advertisements provide consumers with in-formation and knowledge about products and help a society to sustain homogeneity by actively reflecting important characteristics of mass culture. Yet this reflection is a selective and purposeful representation by the party of the fashion manufactures and carries the intention of stimulating and augmenting desire for commodities aiming to perpetuate capitalism. This study understood this selective reflection of mass culture by advertisements as a feature of hegemonic struggle between/fashion business and consumers and defined the values selected by advertisements as ideologies supporting the consumption ideology of capitalism. The purpose of this study was to examine the contents of the ideologies expressed in the clothing advertisements in women's magazines to persuade consumers into consumption. The method of study was mainly qualitative with subsidiary citations from the results of content analysis. The objects of analysis were clothing advertisements in 1996 issues of CeCi and Woman Sense, which were identified as the two most popular women's monthly magazines. The ideologies identified were ideologies concerning (1) Self Identity, (2) Sensibility, (3) Sex Role, (4) Globalism, (5) Youth, (6) Leas-ure and Pleasure. Repeated and insisted as natural and true, there values were proposed to be believed as common senses and studies re-port that values of advertisements are ac-cepted as more readily as they are more unreasonable, and the acts and behaviors expres-sed within advertisements are often imitated in real life situations. Therefore, it is highly probable that these values emphasized within advertisements are enacted in thoughts and behaviors of consumers' real life. Accordingly the author suggests that critical interpretation of advertisements is seriously required to fully understand the commodity ridden post industrial society of today and to lead a subjective life within it.

A differential floating mass transducer has been developed in Korea for fully implantable middle ear hearing devices (F-IMEHDs). In particular, the performance of a differential floating mass transducer (DFMT) is very important among the parts of the F-IMEHDs because the mechanical vibration generated by DFMT is delivered to the inner ear directly. In this paper, the electrical model is proposed to analyze the DFMT vibration characteristic using the mechanical model of the DFMT. The electrical model enables the simple analysis of DFMT vibration characteristics using a computer program. The proposed electrical model is simulated through PSpice as changing the values of passive elements in the electrical model. To verify the proposed model, the DFMT has been implemented on the basis of the simulated results and the experiment for vibration measurement has been carried out. Through the comparison, it is verified that the proposed model is useful to analyze the vibration characteristics of the DFMT.

As fashion has concentrated increasingly on inner values, it has become more directly connected with human life and society. This study analyzed anti-fashion, a movement that resists mainstream society and culture, which it views as causing inner conflicts such as competition, mammonism, consumerism, and egoism by fixating solely on the pursuit of growth and improvement. The study examined Kinfolk, an independent lifestyle magazine, to determine the essential values and principles that comprise this movement's refusal of mainstream modern society. The analysis of Kinfolk identified the following characteristics of, the Kinfolk lifestyle: essentialism, nature-friendliness, retro sensibilities, socio-ethical awareness, and diversity. Essentialism refers to the pursuit of essence, brevity, innovation based on tradition and slow life. Nature-friendliness involves communion with nature and humanity, animal-friendliness, de-industrialization, de-urbanization, and nomadic behavior. The components of the retro sensibility include nostalgia, and interests in vintage culture, and handcrafts. Diversity encompasses commonplaceness, various subcultures, agelessness, genderlessness, acceptance of other cultures, and new understanding. The analysis identified the tendencies of anti-fashion in Kinfolk magazine as simplicity, naturalism, resistance to novelty, ethics, and inclusiveness. Anti-fashion pursues the essential values of human life that have been lost or forgotten in modern society. It is important to pay constant attention to the values of minority, non-mainstream and indie cultures that represent anti-fashion. It exerts considerable influence and has great potential as an area for the development of various style-based paradigms rather than as a single fashion direction.

성당의 공간이미지를 조성함에 있어, 시각을 통해 심성을 변화시키는 가장 중요한 요인은 빛이라고 할 수 있다. 그리고 공간의 깊이는 빛에 의한 음영에 의해 만들어진다. 미사와 같은 종교적 행사가 행해지는 장소에 있어서 음영에 의한 깊이의 변화와 위계설정은 집중도와 신비로움 또는 성스러움의 분위기를 확보하는 데에 중요한 계획조건이 된다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 빛이 가진 종교적 의미와 인간 감성에 미치는 영향은 매우 크다고 할 수 있으며, 이에 본 연구에서는 성당의 예배공간 조명계획에 대한 요소 중 '조도'를 그 중요요소로 보았다. 조도는 시각적 환경조성에서 미묘한 공간구성상의 차이를 통해 대상과 공간의 형태, 명료함을 부여함으로써 표현된다. 조명을 통해 공간분위기를 적정한 수준에서 관리하게 되고, 공간의 존재를 확인함에 조도의 역할은 필수적이라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 이에 따라, 관련 기준을 종합 분석하여 조도의 기준과 범위를 설정하고, 현대적인 디자인 적용이 시작되었다고 할 수 있는 80년대 이후 서울 강남지역에 건립된 성당들을 대상으로 조도와 관련된 요소들을 분석하고 각 성당의 전례공간과 회중석의 조도를 측정하여 이를 비교분석함으로써 적정수준의 적용여부를 검토확인하고 이를 추후 계획지침으로 활용하도록 제안하고자 하였다.

Le Corbusier (1887-1965) is known as a great architect ranking with such master architects as Frank Lloyd Wright and Mies van der Rohe who produced great architectural achievements in an era from the dawning to the maturity of the modem architecture. His works are marked for their peculiarity in expressing his architectural concept as perceived through his artistic sensibility. He has brought the form of his architecture to perfect through the influence of Purism. His architectural concept has instigated him to construct the relations between structure, form and the notion of space through the 'Dom-ino' structural system and the 'Five Principles of the Modem Architecture.' As a result, he has become such an architect as has ripened his works by adopting the 'Modulor' for human measurement. During the decade from 1929 to 1939, he made public the 'Museum of Unlimited Growth' programs in an attempt to give a concrete form to his concept of 'unlimited space' spreading to all directions, which was actually visualized by the constructions of three art museums, located Ahmedabad and Chandigarh in India and Tokyo in Japan. Although a number of researches have so far been publicized on the works and the architectural ideas of Le Corbusier, no systematic research has yet been released on the idea of 'Museum of Unlimited Growth' as a matter of fact. Therefore, this study has set its purpose to grasp the peculiarities of his exhibition space design through an analysis on the characteristics of the 'Museum of Unlimited Growth' so designed as to reflect the concept of a space, which is centrifugally growing. With this purpose in mind, this research is also to suggest how the design of the 'Museum of Unlimited Growth' would influence the modem museum exhibit space. The contents of this study comprise the consideration on the early ideas of Le Corbusier, the typical features of the growing museum and the analysis as well as the integration of his works.

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate vital pulp tissue removal from different endodontic instrumentation systems from root canal apical third in vivo. Materials and Methods: Thirty mandibular molars were selected and randomly divided into 2 test groups and one control group. Inclusion criteria were a positive response to cold sensibility test, curvature angle between 10 and 20 degrees, and curvature radius lower than 10 mm. Root canals prepared with Hero 642 system (size 45/0.02) (n = 10) and Reciproc R40 (size 40/0.06) (n = 10) and control (n = 10) without instrumentation. Canals were irrigated only with saline solution during root canal preparation. The apical third was evaluated considering the touched/untouched perimeter and area to evaluate the efficacy of root canal wall debridement. Statistical analysis used t-test for comparisons. Results: Untouched root canal at cross-section perimeter, the Hero 642 system showed 41.44% ± 5.62% and Reciproc R40 58.67% ± 12.39% without contact with instruments. Regarding the untouched area, Hero 642 system showed 22.78% ± 6.42% and Reciproc R40 34.35% ± 8.52%. Neither instrument achieved complete cross-sectional root canal debridement. Hero 642 system rotary taper 0.02 instruments achieved significant greater wall contact perimeter and area compared to reciprocate the Reciproc R40 taper 0.06 instrument. Conclusions: Hero 642 achieved higher wall contact perimeter and area but, regardless of instrument size and taper, vital pulp during in vivo instrumentation is not entirely removed.

We are exposed to the various external stimuli input from the environment, which cause emotional changes based on the characteristics of the stimuli. Unfortunately, there are no quantitative results on relationship between human sensibility and the characteristics of physiological signals. The objective of this study was to quantify EEG signals evoked by auditory stimulation based on the assumption that the analysis of the variability on the characteristics of the EEG waveform may provide the significant information regarding changes in psychological states of the subject. The experiment was devised with seven experimental conditions, which are control and six different types of auditory stimulation. Twenty subjects were used to obtain EEGs while introducing auditory stimulation. Wavelet transformation was employed to analyze the EEG signals. The results showed that the reconstructed signals at the decomposition level revealed the different energy value on the EEG signals. Also, general patterns of EEG signals in rest state compare with negative and positive stimulus were found. This study could be extended to estabilish an algorithm which distinguishes psychophysiological states of the subjects exposed to the auditory stimulation.

이 연구의 목적은 고등학생의 기후변화 대응 실천역량을 진단하는 검사도구를 개발하는 데 있다. 내용타당도 검증과 두 차례의 조사를 바탕으로 검사도구를 개발하였고, 본조사는 전국의 고등학생 1~2학년 528명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 기후변화 대응 실천역량 검사도구의 신뢰도와 타당도를 확보하기 위해 문항 분석(평균, 왜도, 첨도, 문항-전체 상관), 신뢰도 분석, 확인적 요인분석을 활용하였다. 기후변화 대응 실천역량 검사도구는 7가지 영역의 총 35개 문항으로 구성되어 있으며, 검사에 소요되는 시간은 약 15분 내외이다. 이 검사도구의 영역별 구성은 기후변화 관련 지식, 기후변화 감수성, 성찰능력, 통합적 사고, 의사소통능력, 의사결정능력, 실천 의지이다. 이 검사도구는 자기보고식의 5점 리커트 척도(1=전혀 그렇지 않다, 2=그렇지 않다, 3=보통이다, 4=그렇다, 5=매우 그렇다)로 응답하도록 되어있으며, Cronbach-α 값은 전체 0.953, 하위요소의 경우 0.786~0.862의 범위로 나타났다.

인간은 사회적인 동물로서, 대화로써 정보를 얻거나 사회적인 교류를 해왔다. 대화는 두 사람 이상의 작은 모임에서 서로 말을 편하게 주고받는 것으로, 한 사람이 다른 사람에게 가지는 감성에 따라 그 말의 분위기가 달라질 수 있다. 영화에서 인물들과 인물들이 펼치는 이야기는 중요한 요소로 작용하며, 인물들 간의 관계는 이야기와 인물 간의 대사를 이해하는데 꼭 필요하다. 그러나 이런 정보를 영화에서 자동으로 추출하는 방법은 아직까지 연구되지 않아서 관객들에게 제공되고 있지 못하고 있다. 따라서, 영화 속 양상을 자동으로 분석하는 모델이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 딥 러닝 기법을 활용하여 각 영화 등장 인물들 간의 감성을 측정하여 영화 속 인물들 간의 관계를 효과적으로 분석하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안 방법은 먼저 영화 대본으로부터 주요 인물들을 추출하고, 주요 인물들 간의 대화를 효과적으로 찾는다. 그런 다음, 주요 인물들 간의 관계를 분석하기 위하여, 감성 분석을 수행하여 전체 시간 간격 내 대사의 위치에 따라 가중치를 부여하고 점수를 수집한다. 또한, 실데이터를 이용한 실험을 통하여 제안 기법이 효과적으로 영화 등장 인물들 간의 감성을 분석할 수 있음을 보인다.

The aim of this study was to reveal the modern succession and reinterpretation of brand identity through the case of Balenciaga design presented by Demna Gvasalia through a review of the literature, design collection, and design review analysis. The design collection analysis was conducted from 2016 F/W to 2020 F/W, when Demna Gvasalia commenced responsibility for the Balenciaga collection. A total of 12 articles from overseas fashion magazines and newspapers were analyzed. A modern reinterpretation of Demna Gvasalia's Balenciaga design is as follows. First, he introduced luxury mode to reflect a sense of the times and introduced luxury street looks based on street and sports sensibilities, showing various styles without specific concepts. Second, by sharing universal sensibilities based on pragmatism, he proposed an easy-to-wear outfit for daily life to demonstrate the everydayness of fashion. Third, as a new exploration of traditional structural beauty, the design of Cristobal Balenciaga was reinterpreted through the conversion of items, overlapping outfits, and the introduction of high-tech technologies. Fourth, by taking a conceptual approach to fashion, he has renewed the spirit of experimentation and modernity shown by Cristobal Balenciaga. Fifth, with the presentation of a new icon, new styles of sneakers such as Triple S and Speed Runner are presented as new icons. He inherited the original mindset and creative approach of the house's founder, Cristobal Balenciaga, and reinterpreted it from a contemporary street sensibility and pragmatic perspective.
