현대 디지털 패션에 나타난 예술 매체적 특성과 미적 가치 (The Aesthetic Value and Art-media's Characteristics as Appeared in Contemporary Digital Fashion)

  • In this modern digital era, there are very vigorous arguments about digital and media aesthetics throughout culture and art on the basis of new transferring of recognition about the art-media's characteristics. Therefore, this paper tries to discover the art-media's characteristics and aesthetic value that are included in contemporary digital fashion through studying the fusion between digital and fashion. The purpose of this research is to offer positive and evolutive opportunity of artistic thinking to make the meeting between fashion and media suggest the future generation, adaptation and recognition in the media - developmental environment that will be deeper and more fueling. In the area of research method, this paper takes the method of theoretical research by referring national and foreign literatures and preceding research-papers, and carries out investigation and analysis about digital fashion for the last 10 years. The results of this study; The art-media's characteristics of modern digital fashion are virtuality, immateriality and characteristics of multimedia. The aesthetic values can be classified with four kinds of properties. First is hybridity initiated from multi-media that creates works; the second is infinite reproductivity initiated from the characteristics of the multi media and the digital carrier. Thirdly, there is also interactivity appeared all over the area of production, adaptation and perception caused by non-linearity and immateriality. Finally there is synesthesia that can extend the capability of sense through digital media.

한식당 세계화를 위한 성공모델로서의 일식당 실내공간과 음식관련요소의 특성 연구 - 홍콩 소재 일식당 대상 - (A Study on Characteristics of Indoor space and Food related of Japanese restaurant as successful model for globalizing Korean restaurants - Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong -)

  • The present study is a basic research for promoting the globalization of Korean food, aiming to analyze Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong, an international city successful in globalization, focused on their spatial characteristics and food related characteristics and to use the results as basic materials. The results of this study are as follows. As to the characteristics of indoor spaces and food of Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong, first, the locations of Japanese restaurants were mostly easily accessible luxury hotels, office buildings or shopping malls. They displayed Japanese styles well and used conspicuous signs. Their trade names were given after traditional place names, food names, greetings, etc. Second, the spaces of Japanese restaurants expressed contemporary and, at the same time, traditional styles moderately and elegantly by applying emphatic articles such as traditional furniture, tools and folk paintings to contemporary spaces with traditional air, and by doing so, they showed various possibilities. Third, as to the characteristics of food culture, menus were diversified from traditional menus such as kaiseki to everyday menus such as vinegared rice, ramen, skewered roast meat and fusion dish, and at the same time, differentiated by concept. In addition, some restaurants succeeded in globalization and modernization with chains throughout the world. Furthermore, while table setting, food dishing and tableware image were harmonized with the concept of the restaurant space, if tradition needed to be displayed it was used at a minimum, showing the Japanese aesthetic sense through the restaurant space and food. In globalizing Korean restaurants based on the results of this study, we need to link trade name, facade, sign, menu and space with served food, and to plan a consistent story so that Korean culture and images are expressed. In addition, if a manual is made by benchmarking the Japanese government's support policies and relevant businesses' efforts and ideas and provided to Korean restaurants, it will be helpful for Korean restaurants, which spread Korean food culture, to be more competitive and graceful.

시계열기반의 GPS 프로브 자료의 이상치 제거 알고리즘 개발 (A Time Series-based Algorithm for Eliminating Outliers of GPS Probe Data)

  • 본 연구는 구간검지체계의 GPS 프로브 원시데이터의 1차 기공을 위한 평균화과정에 있어 발생할 수 있는 문제점으로 이상치 문제에 대해 검토하고 있다. 이상치의 미 제거는 구간검지의 수집 및 가공 신뢰도를 저하시킬 수 있으므로 이상치에 대한 부문을 수집 주기별로 판단하여 제거해 주어야 한다. 연구에서는 이상치 제거 알고리즘으로 ARIMA 모형을 적용시켜 실시간적 신뢰구간 추정과정들을 검토해 보았다. 이러한 ARIMA 모형의 적용하기 위해 서울시 10개의 도로구간의 GPS 프로브 기반의 교통데이터에 대하여 모수 추정 기간 등을 변화시키면서 이상치 제거 개수들을 확인하였다. 모든 링크는 IMA(1,1)모형으로 모형이 식별이 되었으며, 모수 추정의 경우 추정기간이 짧아질수록 이상치 제거율이 낮아지는 즉 교통흐름에 보다 민감한 경향을 보이는 결과를 가져왔다. 이상치로 제거된 각 개별 원시 데이터의 확인이 불가하여 모형의 신뢰도 평가는 불가하여 모형의 우수성은 입증되지 못 하였으나 본 연구의 결과 수집 데이터 측면에서의이상치 제거의 모형으로서 시계열 모형이 적절하게 이용 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

The Spatially Closed Universe

  • The general world model for homogeneous and isotropic universe has been proposed. For this purpose, we introduce a global and fiducial system of reference (world reference frame) constructed on a (4+1)-dimensional space-time, and assume that the universe is spatially a 3-dimensional hypersurface embedded in the 4-dimensional space. The simultaneity for the entire universe has been specified by the global time coordinate. We define the line element as the separation between two neighboring events on the expanding universe that are distinct in space and time, as viewed in the world reference frame. The information that determines the kinematics of the geometry of the universe such as size and expansion rate has been included in the new metric. The Einstein's field equations with the new metric imply that closed, flat, and open universes are filled with positive, zero, and negative energy, respectively. The curvature of the universe is determined by the sign of mean energy density. We have demonstrated that the flat universe is empty and stationary, equivalent to the Minkowski space-time, and that the universe with positive energy density is always spatially closed and finite. In the closed universe, the proper time of a comoving observer does not elapse uniformly as judged in the world reference frame, in which both cosmic expansion and time-varying light speeds cannot exceed the limiting speed of the special relativity. We have also reconstructed cosmic evolution histories of the closed world models that are consistent with recent astronomical observations, and derived useful formulas such as energy-momentum relation of particles, redshift, total energy in the universe, cosmic distance and time scales, and so forth. The notable feature of the spatially closed universe is that the universe started from a non-singular point in the sense that physical quantities have finite values at the initial time as judged in the world reference frame. It has also been shown that the inflation with positive acceleration at the earliest epoch is improbable.

로코코 시대의 장식적 특성을 응용한 아트마스크 디자인 (Art Mask Designs with Decorative Characteristics of the Rococo Age)

  • The purpose of this study was to categorize the decorative characteristics of the Rococo Age, which displays the most glamorous and elegant decorative beauty, in architecture, interior decorations, paintings, and patterns, and to analyze these characteristics and graft them onto art masks in a modern way. Piece I is a mixed media piece that based its motif on the ceilings and pulpits of the German Vis Pilgrimage Church, which is representative architecture of the Rococo Age. It was glamorously produced using gold and cubic zirconia. Piece II is also a mixed media piece that borrowed its motif from the exterior and gazebo of the Sanssouci Palace in Germany, another representative piece of architecture from the Rococo Age, and it was produced to clearly display the image of the Sanssouci Palace, using emerald and ivory. Piece III applies the furniture trends of the Rococo Age. Curves in S and C shapes, which can often be found in Chinese furniture, along with dark backgrounds, common in portrait paintings, were applied to give a sense of weight and dignity. Piece IV is an application of the fabric patterns of the Rococo Age. Continuous patterns of flowers and greenery stems were drawn on the mask to recreate the fabric patterns of the age. Piece V used the painting 'Swing' of the Rococo Age as its inspiration. Lace and ribbon decorations were used to emphasize feminine beauty and express the loveliness of the woman that appears in the painting. Piece VI borrows from the painting 'Madame de Pompadour' of the Rococo Age and the clothing worn by Pompadour. This piece grafted colors and themes through the painting and expressed a fusion of the dresses of Pompadour and lace that is clearly displayed in the architecture, paintings, clothing, interior decorations, and patterns of the Rococo Age, along with the rocaille (asymmetrically shaped decorations that resemble clams), flowers, leaves, stems, and Chinoiserie styles. These motifs clearly display the decorative characteristics of the age and these were grafted them onto art masks, confirming that it is possible to create new designs.

개발된 3D Display 장치를 이용한 사위검사법과 기존 사위검사법으로 측정한 사위량 비교에 관한 연구 (A Comparative Study on Quantity of Phoria between New Phoria Measurement with 3D Display and Existing Methods)

  • 목적: 본 논문에서는 3D display 장치를 활용하여 사위량을 측정하는 새로 고안된 사위검사법이 기존의 사위검사법을 분석 및 비교하여 어떠한 차이가 있는지 알아보았다. 방법: 실험은 마독스로드법(Maddox rod), 폰 그라페법(von Graefe) 등 기존 사위검사법 2가지와 새로 고안한 3D편광사위검사법으로 사위량을 측정하였다. 3D편광사위검사법은 기존의 편광렌즈를 활용한 사위검사와 달리 편광렌즈와 시야조리개를 사용하여 완전융합사위제거 상태로 사위량을 측정한다. 이를 위해 세 가지 사위검사법에 모두 사용 가능하도록 새로 고안된 사위검사시표와 이를 표시하는 3D display 장치를 활용하였다. 피검사자는 남녀 12명이며, 사위검사에 영향을 줄 수 있는 사위검사순서를 고려하여 3가지 사위검사의 모든 경우의 순서를 고려하여 세 가지 실험 1세트-1회를 기준으로 총 6회의 실험을 하여 총 72세트의 표본을 얻었다. 양안융합의 제거를 위해 실험조건을 어둡게 했으며, 시표의 RGB색상코드(RGB color code)를 기준으로 (20, 20, 20), 실험실의 조명은 10 lx 이하를 유지하였다. 결과: 실험결과 72세트의 표본 중, 외사위 30세트, 내사위 12세트, 정위 30세트로 분류되었다. 먼저 검사순서에 의한 분석 결과 실험에 영향을 주지 않았다. 사위량의 비교분석 결과, 가장 높은 사위량이 검출된 검사법은 마독스로드법이었으며 3D편광사위검사법이 가장 낮은 사위량이 검출되었다. 각 검사법의 사위량은 차이를 보이고, paired t-test 분석 결과 통계적으로 유의하여 사위량이 3D편광사위검사법<폰 그라페법<마독스로드법 순의 경향으로 검출될 확률이 높다. 결론: 새로 고안된 3D편광사위검사법은 기존 사위검사법보다 상대적으로 낮은 사위량이 검출되었으나 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보인다. 새로 고안된 3D편광사위검사법은 피검사자의 자연스러운 융합제거와 비교적 안정적인 안위 상태에서 이루어진 검사로 사위량을 검사하는 점에서 의의가 있다.

  • Today, every culture has taken on the compromise form by means of the cultural difference, variety, and pluralism according to the internationalization and the advance so that it has been developed toward the half-blooded and multilayered the aspect. In accordance with this current of the times, this thesis observed the feminism found in the multiculturism of the end of the 20th century, the third world, and technology with the side of the tendency of modern fashion, considered the hybride phenomenon which is pulling down the wall between culture and genre due to the social diversification. and predicted the fashion trend do 21st century serf on it. Multiculturism is the movement that began to arise in the academic world of America and the literary world form the close of 1980's in accepting the variety of culture and regarding the culture with the more balanced and wide view and just as it is, it means the attitude of accepting one or more cultures of variely and the position of taking interest in the culture of minority race not the culture of a governing race. It is the fashion of feminism adapts dualism like unisex, androgynous look, etc of bisexual lendency in the 1980's, it shows new style with crossover of liberal sense because there is not the difference of sex in fashion. The eco-feminism pursues the natural sexuality not being instrumental and dismantling and expressed it in the Gender expression of an integrated human being. The trend of ethnic fashion in the close of 20th century is that the element of hippie is working so strongly. By adding embroidery of Oriental style, accessories of Indian style, feathers, beads, a hempen hood to the ethnic costumes of Asia and Latin, is shows the figure of ethnic hippie. As the cycler fashion is the future clothes through technology of computer, it uses a cool glass material bringing up the image of a spacesuit in order to expresses cyber image through artificial color combination of sheen colors, Though this techno-color fashion has established the fresh stimulation and the innovative aspect with ultramodern materials and image of futurism, it transmits a hope of estranged people and the natural elements. Hybride means a cross and mixture of animal and plant in Korean and is also called fusion. The phenomenon of hybrid predicts to comes the period of a cross and variation because something completely new comes into the world by contamination, mixture and compromise through meeting something different each other and it has on advantage of developing something existing to one more stage. It is prospected that in the society of 21st century, the borderline of traditional gender will be disappeared, variety and individuality will determine the individual behavior, and the masculine value will be substituted by feminine value. In the society giving priority to feminine value, a fashion stuck closely to women is what must reflect lives of woman under the proposition of woman's beauty, being on original function. So, it is considered that a fashion with added convenience and practicality having the function which is easy to put on, comfortable to act, able to express solves so much, and able to show various appearances according to T.P.O will get into the spotlight.

트랜스미디어 시대에서 에디큐레이션의 의미에 대한 연구 - 출판 및 만화 콘텐츠를 중심으로 - (Study on the meaning of Edi-curation in Trans-media era - Based on the comic(webtoon) and publishing content -)

  • 인터넷 및 디지털 미디어의 환경에서 미디어 수용자는 동일 콘텐츠를 다양한 플랫폼으로 이용하고 있다. 이처럼 여러 장르의 콘텐츠가 디지털 미디어의 기반에서 융합, 조합, 변형, 분화, 복제 등의 과정을 거치면서 새로운 콘텐츠의 형태로 전환되는 것을 트랜스미디어라고 한다. 트랜스미디어 시대에서 성공하는 콘텐츠를 만들기 위해서는 에디큐레이션의 작업이 필요하다. 에디큐레이션은 큐레이터의 큐레이션 작업에 편집과 의미를 부가하는 작업 행위이다. 그런 점에서 이 논문은 트랜스미디어 시대에서 출판 및 만화 콘텐츠의 에디큐레이션에 대한 정의와 의미를 분석했다. 에디큐레이션은 디지털 미디어 환경에서 콘텐츠의 생산자가 곧 소비자며, 소비자가 곧 생산자인 프로컨슈머/프로듀저를 유도하는 역할을 담당하는 프로세스다. 디지털 플랫폼과 디바이스의 다양화, 디지털 1인(혹은 SNS) 미디어의 등장 등은 출판 및 만화 콘텐츠에도 다양한 방식의 에디큐레이션을 요구한다. 미디어 생산자(혹은 수용자)의 의도에 따라 콘텐츠는 복제, 짜깁기, 분해, 해체, 하이퍼텍스트, 압축, 재구성 등의 과정을 거쳐서 새로운 콘텐츠로 탄생한다. 이처럼 에디큐레이션의 작업을 거친 출판 및 만화 콘텐츠는 미디어 생산자의 작업 방식은 물론, 미디어 수용자의 콘텐츠 독법에도 영향을 미친다는 점에서, 트랜스미디어 시대의 에디큐레이션은 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 출판 콘텐츠에서 에디큐레이션 작업은 챕터나 단락의 논리성 파괴, 구어체의 문장, 카드 뉴스의 활용, 동영상 및 미디어 콘텐츠의 변형 등이 있으며, 만화 콘텐츠에서는 칸의 파괴, 말풍선, 의성어, 의태어의 다양한 변형 등을 들 수 있다.

고구려(高句麗) 고분벽화(古墳壁畵)에 나타난 문양(紋樣)과 상징성(象徵性)에 관(關)한 고찰(考察) (A study about pattern and symbol shown in the mural painting of Koguryo dynasty's tomb)

  • In this thesis, I examined the mental, philosophical aspects and the aesthetic sense of our ancestors through the study of the patterns pictured in the mural paintings of Koguryo dynasty's old tomb. To view the mode of construction in Koguryo dynasty from present angle, the detailed analysis of the patterns was done. As a result, I could fully understand the formative consciousness of our nation. 1. I defined the process of transition of the mural paintings by putting some 70 mural aintings into the form of a diagram. 2. The cultural aspects of the mural paintings in Koguryo dynasty were characterized by the fusion of our primitive religion and Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism which were introduced from China. From this fact, I could inferred that Koguryo people were giving off the strong desire for the faith by means of the mural paintings. Further more I found that configuration of the patterns such as religious elements. 3. The types of the patterns were classified into four types, this is, geometric type, natural type, cultural type and abstract type, Among these types, geometric type and natural type were nonsymbolic in nature but became cultured and abstracted in course of time. cultural pattern and abstract pattern got the symbolic meaning in the long run. Of all the constitution of the patterns represented in the mural paintings such as repeat constitution, left and right symmetric constitution, top and bottom symmetric constitution and rotary symmetric constitution, the left and right symmetric constitution was mainly used and some monotony of left and right symmetric constitution. The analysis of motif which was got from the mode of the patterns showed that the mixing of symbolic and nonsymbolic patterns made it possible to regard the separate symbol as compound in nonsymbolic patterns and the combination between nonsymbolic patterns ensured the understanding of other patterns in certain cases. Our ancestors made great efforts to transmit certain meaning symbolically. Also to heighten the symbolism, they drew the meangless patterns firstly and then appended meaning to those patterns secondly. Furthermore, they offered the background to the patterns comblined with symbolism, so that meaning transmission was clarified at last. As mentioned above, the patterns shown in the mural paintings of Koguryo dynasty's old tomb were characterized by natural beauty. And natural beauty was found out clearly in the form and constitution of the patterns. Therefore I concluded that our nation's religious, philosophical tradition was acted on the patterns strongly.

판화와 다양한 매체와의 결합으로 얻어지는 새로운 작품에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the new works obtained by the combination of prints and various media)

  • 판화는 순수예술의 한 분야이면서 에디션(edition)이라는 특수성 때문에 대중적인 성격을 띤 상업적 결과물로 인식되는 모호한 경계에 놓여져 있다. 현대의 과학기술 발전은 판화의 새로운 기법을 발달시켰고 디지털(digital)이라는 컴퓨터와의 융합은 복제예술로서의 가능성을 보여주었다. 복제 판화는 사진과 접하며 확장된 영역으로의 지대한 영향을 받았고 프린트의 다양한 형태는 간접예술의 가능성을 여러 각도로 자극함으로써 많은 변화와 시도를 가져왔다. 판화와 과학기술의 역사가 밀접하게 관련되어 있듯이 컴퓨터의 발달은 복수예술성의 광범위한 영역확대, 기술적, 예술적 변화를 시도하게 만든다. 디지털이 갖는 매끈한 평면위에 판화의 물성을 얹음으로 단순히 복사된 이미지 위에 새로운 개념의 형상을 만들어낼 수 있는 과정과 결과는, 일품미술의 가치 혹은 판화가 주는 물성의 특성과는 또 다른 독특한 작품의 영역을 보여준다. 복제성에 대한 폄하된 인식은 판화와 직결된 의미로 작품의 가치를 평가하였고 복제된 각 에디션의 가치와는 무관하게 한 묶음의 작품으로 평가절하 되는 것은 부인 할 수 없는 사실이다. 그러나 종이 위에 찍혔던 판화의 물성은 캔버스위에 손으로 직접 그리는 핸드드로잉(hand drawing)과 함께 올려지고, 디지털 프린트라는 정보의 종이위에 결합하는 과정을 통해 새로운 면모와 변화를 보여주는 계기가 된다. 매체가 주는 다양성은 예술과 과학기술사이에서 때로는 정체성의 논란이 되기도 한다. 앞으로 예술의 영역에서 누릴 수 있는 매체성의 한계를 어떤 기준으로 정할 수 있을지도 논의가 되어야 할 것이다.
