아동의 온라인 게임 중독 성향 측정을 위한 한국형 검사 척도 개발 (Development of Korean Scale for Measuring Children's Online Game Addiction Tendency)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 아동의 온라인 게임 중독 성향을 측정하기 위한 한국형 검사 척도를 과학적인 절차에 따라 개발하는 것이다. 3차례에 걸쳐 실시된 예비검사에서 문항 분석, 신뢰도 분석, 요인 분석이 수행된 결과 30문항으로 구성된 본 검사척도가 결정되었다. 본 검사에서는 준거타당도 검증을 위하여 온라인 게임 이용 실태 및 태도와 더불어 심리적 변인 4가지인 공격성 척도, 충동성 척도, 외로움 척도, 자기 통제력 척도를 포함하였고, 전국 초등학교 5, 6학년 2,584명의 학생이 조사에 참여하였다. 본 검사 결과에 대하여 문항 분석, 신뢰도 분석이 수행되었고, 탐색적 요인 분석과 준거 변인과의 상관 분석에 의해 타당도가 검증되었다. 마지막으로, 표준화 절차를 통해 7개 하위요인, 30문항으로 구성된 최종 검사 척도와 중독 집단 분류 규준을 개발하였다.

소통공간의 관점에서 고찰한 "움직임의 건축" - 자하 하디드의 설계이론과 작품 사례연구 - ("The Architecture of Movement" Considered in the Viewpoint of Communicative Space - A Case Study of Zaha Hadid's Design Theory and Practice -)

  • This study examines Dalibor Vesely's theoretical proposition of communicative space and tries to develop it through a review of the contemporary architectural case. Vesely poses a critical question about communication: how do the situational conditions of our everyday life and the spatial characteristics of the natural world in which we live communicate through representation. He emphasizes the spatial and situational conditions and the role of representation in communication, arguing that architecture should create the formation of communicative space to restore its primary role as the corporeal foundation of culture. This study thus focuses on one of the critical concepts of his theory: "the communicative movement," which is, according to him, ontological and situational because it animates and transforms human circumstances as a whole. Further, it pursues some practical knowledge of creating the communicative space, by examining the design theory and practice of Zaha Hadid, who thematizes communication and movement in her architectural approach. This study analyses the different levels of representation and modes of movement in her architectural space to reveal the possibilities and limits of its communicative roles. We will find that the representation of Hadid's architectural space is not the formal representation of reality, but a mathematical and projective representation of abstract concepts. Despite its apparent aesthetic consistency, the inward and self-referential relation between the individual elements of the architectural space reveals its limit for the communicative space.

  • Resting-state Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging(fMRI) data detects the temporal correlations in Blood Oxygen Level Dependent(BOLD) signal and these temporal correlations are regarded to reflect intrinsic cortical connectivity, which is deactivated during attention demanding, non-self referential tasks, called Default Mode Network(DMN). The relationship between fMRI and anatomical connectivity has not been studied in detail, however, the preceded studies have tried to clarify this relationship using Diffusion Tensor Imaging(DTI) and fMRI. These studies use method that fMRI data assists DTI data or vice versa and it is used as guider to perform DTI tractography on the brain image. In this study, we hypothesized that functional connectivity in resting state would reflect anatomical connectivity of DMN and the combined images include information of fMRI and DTI showed visible connection between brain regions related in DMN. In the previous study, functional connectivity was determined by subjective region of interest method. However, in this study, functional connectivity was determined by objective and advanced method through Independent Component Analysis. There was a stronger connection between Posterior Congulate Cortex(PCC) and PHG(Parahippocampa Gyrus) than Anterior Cingulate Cortex(ACC) and PCC. This technique might be used in several clinical field and will be the basis for future studies related to aging and the brain diseases, which are needed to be translated not only functional connectivity, but structural connectivity.

MODELING ACCURATE INTEREST IN CASH FLOWS OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS TOWARD IMPROVED FORECASTING OF COST OF CAPITAL

  • Construction contactors must continuously seek to improve their cash flows, which reside at the heart of their financial success. They require careful planning, analysis, and optimization to avoid the risk of bankruptcy, remain profitable, and secure long-term growth. Sources of cash include bank loans and retained earnings, which are conceptually similar in that they both incur a cost of capital. Financial management therefore requires accurate yet customizable modeling capabilities that can quantify all expenses, including said cost of capital. However, currently existing cash flow models in construction engineering and management have strongly simplified the manner in which interest is assessed, which may even lead to overstating it at a disadvantage to contractors. The variable nature of cash balances, especially in the early phases of construction projects, contribute to this challenging issue. This research therefore extends a new cash flow model with an accurate interest calculation. It utilizes singularity functions, so called because of their ability to flexibly model changes across any number of different ranges. The interest function is continuous for activity costs of any duration and allows the realistic case that activities may begin between integer time periods, which are often calendar months. Such fractional interest calculation has hitherto been lacking from the literature. It also provides insights into the self-referential behavior of compound interest for variable cash balances. The contribution of this study is twofold; augmenting the corpus of financial analysis theory with a new interest formula, whose strengths include its generic nature and that it can be evaluated at any fractional value of time, and providing construction managers with a tool to help improve and fine-tune the financial performance of their projects.

시각화된 환경에서 다차원 관점을 지원하는 객체기반 패싯 시소러스 관리 시스템 모델의 정형화 및 구현 (A Data Model for an Object-based Faceted Thesaurus System Supporting Multiple Dimensions of View in a Visualized Environment)

  • 본 논문에서는 패싯 분류에 기반하여 다차원 사용자 관점의 도메인 시소러스를 체계적으로 구축하고, 각 관점에 따라 시각화된 환경에서 시소러스를 브라우징, 항해 그리고 검색할 수 있는 다차원 관점객체기반 패싯 시소러스 시스템을 제안한다. 기존의 패싯 시소러스 시스템들과 달리, 본 시스템은 개념들간의 다각적인 상관 관계를 객체 지향 패러다임에 따라 자동으로 설정 구축할 수 있고, 브라우징과 항해를 통해 다차원 시소러스의 복잡한 개념 구조를 적절히 시각화할 수 있기 때문에, 시소러스의 유지 보수 관리가 용이하다. 다차원 브라우징 및 항해는 계층화된 패싯 용어들간의 조합으로 이루어진 패싯화된 시소러스를 필요시 동적으로 생성함으로써 이루어진다. 패싯화된 시소러스는 일종의 다차원 가상 시소러스 계층들로 볼 수 있다. 제안하는 방식에 의한 시소러스 자동 구축은 패싯들의 조합으로 새로운 차원의 시소러스를 용이하게 추가할 수 있기 때문에, 융통성 있는 시소러스 확장이 가능하고 대량의 시소러스 인스턴스들을 관점에 따라 적절한 해석을 부여하는 방식으로 구조화하기 때문에 개별적 사용자 관점에 부합되는 인스턴스들을 참조 질의에 의해 효율적으로 검색할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 제안 시스템을 체계화하기 위한 모델을 정형화하고 이를 바탕으로 모델의 실용성을 입증하기 위해 그 프로토타입을 구현하였다.
