자주식(自走式)퇴비교반기 개발을 위한 제조방법별 양송이 퇴비배지의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the properties of mushroom compost produced by different methods for the development of a self-propelled compost turner)

  • 야외발효 양송이 퇴비배지를 저비용 고효율로 제조하기 위하여 자주식교반기를 개발하여 굴삭기와 퇴비혼합기, 자주식교반기를 이용하여 제조된 퇴비의 균일도와 기계류의 특징과 성능을 비교하여 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 배지의 재료는 볏짚과 계분을 건물기준 3:1로 혼합하고 사용하고 마지막 교반이 끝난 후 퇴비더미 단면의 내부 온도 분포, 배지의 함수율과 건물에 대한 회분비율 및 균일도를 조사하였다. 퇴비가 제조된 후 관행, 배지혼합기, 자주식교반기에서 함수율은 $69.9{\pm}0.54$, $72.1{\pm}0.15$, $74.5{\pm}0.82%$였고, 제조된 각각의 퇴비에서 볏짚의 길이를 측정했을 때 $47.5{\pm}15.4cm$, $24.9{\pm}10.1cm$, $31.0{\pm}10.6cm$로 나타났다. 부숙도의 기준으로 표시한 건물 중 회분은 $25.0{\pm}6.2%$, $33.6{\pm}4.2%$, $28.2{\pm}1.1%$였다. 볏짚의 길이 부숙도의 편차 등은 퇴비혼합기와 자주식교반기에서는 회전날개의 타격 선속도에 영향을 받는 것으로 자주식교반기는 9 m/s, 퇴비혼합기는 21.5 m/s 이었다. 이상의 결과로 가장 균일하게 양송이 퇴비배지를 만드는 기계는 자주식교반기로 판단되었다.

  • 본 실험은 농가 관행인 굴삭기 뒤집기와 자주식교반기를 이용한 뒤집기 비교 시험을 통해 발효단계별 배지의 특성을 조사하였다. 야외발효배지의 온도는 자주식교반기 처리에서 뒤집기 후 온도 상승이 빨라지는 경향을 보였다. 후발효배지의 온도는 농가관행인 굴삭기 처리구에서 온도가 높게 유지되면서 후발효과 진행되었다. 야외발효 단계에서 배지에는 고온성 세균 (Bacillus spp.), 방선균, 형광성 Pseudomonas 속, 사상균 등 다양한 미생물들이 분포하였고, 특히 배지발효 과정에서 배지의 분해와 발열에 관여하는 호기성 세균의 밀도는 자주식교반기 처리구에서 상대적으로 높았고, 고온성 발효과정 중 푸른곰팡이균과 중온성 방선균은 생육이 억제되거나 사멸되는 양상을 보였다. 유기물을 분해하는데 중요한 역할을 하고 있는 고온성 방선균은 자주식교반기 처리에서 농가관행보다 높은 밀도를 보였다. 처리별 볏짚의 길이는 자주식교반기를 사용하였을 경우 조금 짧았고, 수분함량은 처리간에 뚜렷한 차이를 보이지 않았다. pH와 EC는 처리간에 뚜렷한 차이를 보이지 않았고, a, b값은 자주식교반기에 의한 뒤집기가 진행될수록 높아지는 경향을 보였다. 발효 단계별 배지의 CN율을 조사한 결과 농가관행인 굴삭기의 경우 23.1에서 시작하여 5차 뒤집기에서는 16.2까지 낮아 졌고, 자주식교반기의 경우 23.3에서 16.9로 낮아 졌다. 따라서 처리간에는 뚜렷한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 처리별 수확량을 조사한 결과 1주기에서는 자주식교반기 처리에서 20%의 증수효과가 있었고, 2주기에서는 28%, 3주기에서는 26%의 증수효과가 있었으며, 전체적으로 23%의 수량 증대효과가 있었다.

Factorial Experiment for Drum-type Secondary Separating Part of Self-propelled Pepper Harvester

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the appropriate operating conditions through a factorial experiment for the secondary separating part of the self-propelled pepper harvester. Methods: An experimental setup that simulates the secondary separating part of the self-propelled pepper harvester was organized. Test samples were classified into three types according to the number of peppers on a stem, and 12 sets were prepared for each type. Among the operating conditions of the secondary separating part, the rotational speed of drum B (four levels), radial clearance between drums and cylindrical teeth (three levels), and speed ratio between the three drums (two levels) were set as the test factors, and tests were repeated three times for different levels of each factor. The appropriate operating conditions were determined by analyzing the separation ratio and damage ratio of the peppers collected through the secondary separating part. Results: The test factors changed the overall separation ratio and overall damage ratio in similar trends. In other words, the conditions that caused high overall separation ratios also exhibited high overall damage ratios. Owing to the high overall damage ratio in the condition with the highest overall separation ratio, the operating conditions should be selected considering both ratios. Conclusions: When the condition with more than 60% of overall separation ratio and less than 15% of overall damage ratio was considered as the appropriate operating condition, 70 rpm of the rotational speed of drum B, 5 mm of the radial clearance between drums and cylindrical teeth, and 7:3:5 for the speed ratio of the three drums A, B, and C should be applied for the secondary separating part used in this study. Supplementary studies will be required in the future to find optimal operating conditions through the actual field test under further divided test factors.

Analysis of load data for developing a self-propelled underground crop harvester during potato harvesting

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a self-propelled underground crop harvester and its performance was evaluated by measuring the load during actual potato harvesting operations. This study was conducted at a constant working speed of 1 km·h-1. A load measurement system was installed to measure the actual load and the required working power was analyzed. A hydraulic pressure sensor was also installed to measure the hydraulic pressure. The required hydraulic power was calculated using the hydraulic pressure and flow rate. The results showed that the engine speed, torque, and power during harvesting operation were in the range of 845 - 1,423 rpm, 95 - 228 Nm, and 9 - 31 kW, respectively. Traction power, excluding the hydraulic pump of the tractor and power take-off (PTO) output, was in the range of 9 - 28 kW, and it was confirmed that it occupies a ratio of 16.2 to 50% of the engine rated output. The engine can supply the minimum required traction power to move the vehicle. This means that the engine used in this study could be down-sized to be suitable for an underground crop harvester. In this study, the gear stages of the tractor were not considered. This research thus shows the possibility of developing a self-propelled underground crop harvester.

가상경계볼쯔만법을 이용한 자력추진 물고기 운동 익의 유영해석 (NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF THE AIRFOIL IN SELF-PROPELLED FISH MOTION USING IMMERSED BOUNDARY LATTICE BOLTZMANN METHOD)

  • Immersed boundary lattice Boltzmann method has been applied to analyze the characteristics of the self-propelled fish motion swimming robot. The airfoil NACA0012 with caudal fin stroke model was considered to examine the characteristics. The foil in steady forward motion and a combination of steady-state harmonic deformation produces thrust through the formation of a flow downstream from the trailing edge. The harmonic motion of the foil causes unsteady shedding of vorticity from the trailing edge, while forming the vortices at the leading edge as well. The resultant thrust is developed by the pressure difference formed on the upper and lower surface of the airfoil. and the time averaged thrust coefficient increases as Re increase in the region of $Re{\leqq}700$. The suggested numerical method is suitable to develop the fish-motion model to control the swimming robot, however It would need to extend in 3D analysis to examine the higher Re and to determine the more detail mechanism of thrust production.

자주포 발전기 스플라인 축 내구성 향상을 위한 최적 설계 기법 (The Optimal Design Technique for Improving Durability of Spline Shaft of the Self Propelled Artillery' Generator)

  • In this study, the experimental and analytical investigation on structural integrity evaluation of spline shaft of self propelled artillery' generator were carried out. For this work, macro and microstructure fractography of spline shaft were observed. According to the results of the structure analysis and simulation, the shaft was redesigned and optimized. To improve the stiffness and shear stress, the material was changed from the SNCM220 to SNCM439 and surface roughness and protective coating treatment are changed to increase the stress relaxation, respectively. From the result of the torsion test of shaft and accelerated life test of generator, the shaft of a SNCM439 with heat-treatment(Q/T) and electroless nickel plating was superior quality reliability and durability than the others. Therefore, modeling and simulation corresponded well with the experimental result and structural safety was confirmed by generator performing.

120mm 자주박격포의 효율적인 국내 연구개발 개념 (A Concept Study on Efficient Domestic Development of 120mm Self-propelled Mortar System)

  • A mortar system is able to be fired more rapidly and concentratedly than other field gun systems. A mortar system can be easily manufactured because of its simple structure. It has also been supporting for the fire power of infantry because it can be carried conveniently. But a mortar system has demerits that are the limited firing range, poor accuracy and uncomfortable operability. Korean army plan to be operated rapidly and enlarge battle field in the near future. So weapon systems of Korean army must have longer firing range, automatic laying function and precision firing capability. This study suggests efficient developing concept of 120mm self-propelled mortar system through surveying the technical readiness level of current R&D and manufacturing ability.

자주식 반송기를 이용한 가선집재작업의 안정성분석 (Stability Analysis of Cable Yarding with Self-Propelled Carriage)

  • 자주식 반송기를 이용한 가선집재작업의 안정성을 이론적인 계산과 현장 계측을 통해 검토하였다. 가선집재 시스템의 이론적 안정성 평가의 유용성을 입증하기 위하여 스카이라인의 장력과 근주의 저항력을 측정하여 이론 계산값과 비교평가하였다. 그 결과 측정된 스카이라인의 장력과 계산값이 유사하였으며, 이를 통해 전체적인 안정성 검토가 가능하였다. 또한 근주의 저항력은 근주의 직경과 밀접한 관계가 있으며 근주변의 각도가 $5-10^{\circ}$일 때 가장 큰 저항력을 나타내었으며, 그 이상의 각도에서는 지주목으로서의 기능을 잃어버리는 것으로 판단되었다.

자주식 동력운반장치를 이용한 농산물 수확·운반작업의 편이성 및 생산성 분석 -경북지역의 과채류 재배농가 조사연구- (Analysis of Convenience and Productivity of Harvesting·Transporting Farm Products with Self-propelled Power Transportation Devices -Reference on Fruit Vegetable Farms in Gyeongbuk Region-)

  • This study analyzed the convenience and productivity before and after adopting self-propelled power transportation devices to the harvest and transportation of fruit and vegetable products in the Gyeongbuk region, by applying the REBA and RULA techniques. In the REBA analysis, the work risk was low with 4~6 points before adoption which became 2~3 points after adoption. As for the RULA analysis, work loading appeared to have decreased with 6~7 points before adoption which became 3~4 points after adoption. The annual work time reduction was about 48~179 hours while labor costs were reduced to 364~1,345 thousand won annually. This indicated a labor cost reduction effect of about 10~15%. Therefore, the adopted self-propelled power transportation devices appeared to prevent musculo skeletal diseases of the human body and also improve productivity even after using it for long hours according to the REBA, RULA measures level.

LNG 운반선의 자유수면을 포함한 자항상태 난류유동장의 수치해석 (RANS Computation of Turbulent free Surface Flow around a Self Propelled KLNG Carrier)

  • The turbulent free surface flow around a self-propelled KRISO 138K LNG Carrier is numerically simulated using the finite volume based multi-block RANS code, WAVIS developed at HRISO. The realizable k-$\varepsilon$ turbulence model with a wail function is employed for the turbulence closure. The free surface is captured with the Level-Set method and body forces are used to model the effects of a propeller without resolving the detail blade flow. In order to obtain an accurate free surface solution and stable convergence, the computations are executed with a proper fine grid refinement around the free surface and with an adoption of implicit discretization scheme for the Level-Set formulation. The computed velocity vectors at the several stations and wave patterns show a good agreement with the experimental results measured at the KRISO towing tank.
