계산과학분야의 고성능컴퓨팅 교육 개선을 위한 탐색적 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of High Performance Computing Education in Computational Science)

  • 계산과학분야에서 고성능컴퓨팅(HPC)을 활용하기 위해서는 프로그래밍, 알고리즘, 자료구조 등 컴퓨터과학의 지식들과 기술들을 배워야 한다. 본 논문에서는 계산과학분야의 IT교육현황 조사와 설문조사를 통해 고성능컴퓨팅 교육을 개선시키기 위한 정책 방향을 제안하는데 있다. 이를 위해 국내 대학의 물리학, 화학, 생명과학, 지구과학분야의 전공과목 중에서 IT관련 과목 현황과 사용자들의 국내 고성능컴퓨팅 교육에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 그 결과 계산과학분야의 IT과 목비율은 응용 전공과목에 비해 매우 낮았다. 대학의 교육 요구도는 높게 나왔지만, 대학의 교육 제공 수준은 제일 낮게 나왔다. 또한 대부분의 사용자들은 독학으로 필요한 지식과 기술들을 습득한 것으로 조사되었다. 즉 대학의 역할이 가장 시급하고 중요하며 전문기관과 온라인교육의 역할도 중요하다고 확인하였다.

예비 간호인력 대상 다학제 전문직 간 교육 중재 연구의 체계적 문헌고찰: 동아시아권 국가 연구를 중심으로 (Systematic review on interprofessional education for pre-licensure nursing student in East Asia)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify and evaluate interprofessional education (IPE) interventions for healthcare professional students in East Asian countries. Methods: The reporting of this study followed the Preferred Reporting Items of Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis guidelines. A literature search was conducted using seven electronic databases: PubMed, EMBASE, CINAHL, Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, and ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global. Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Checklists were also used to appraise the quality of the included studies. The outcomes of IPE interventions were classified based on a modified Kirkpatrick model. Results: This review included 30 studies predominantly conducted in Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan. The prevalent research design was a one-group pre-posttest design, and most IPE interventions occurred as single events. Approximately 70% of the studies involved students from two healthcare professions, mainly nursing and medicine. Simulations, group discussions, and lectures have emerged as the most common teaching methodologies, with almost half of the studies leveraging a combination of these techniques. The IPE content primarily focused on interprofessional teamwork, communication, and clinical patient care situations; these included the management of septic shock. The effectiveness of the IPE interventions was mainly evaluated through self-reported measures, indicating improvements in attitudes, perceptions, knowledge, and skills, aligning with Level 2 of the modified Kirkpatrick model. Nonetheless, the reviewed studies did not assess changes in the participants' behavior and patient results. Conclusion: IPE interventions promise to enhance interprofessional collaboration and communication skills among health professional students. Future studies should implement rigorous designs to assess the effectiveness of IPE interventions. Moreover, when designing IPE interventions, researchers and educators should consider the role of cultural characteristics in East Asian countries.

지적장애 학생을 위한 문제중심학습(PBL) 적용 가정과 식생활 교수·학습 과정안 개발과 평가 (Development and evaluation of Home Economics teaching·learning process plans applied Problem Based Learning focusing on 'food and nutrition' unit for students with intellectual disability)

  • 최근 일반교육 교육과정을 통해 장애학생의 성인생활 자립 역량을 갖추어야 한다는 목소리가 높다. 일반교과인 가정교과는 사명지향적인 학문으로써 장애학생들의 개인생활과 가정생활에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 가정교과에서 식생활 교육은 학생들의 자립성과 사회성을 향상시키면서 식생활 교육과 식생활 연구가 부족한 특수교육 상황에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 문제중심학습(problem based learning: PBL)을 적용한 가정과 식생활 교수·학습 과정안을 개발하여 지적장애 학생들에게 수업을 실행한 후 이 수업이 식품 선택과 보관 지식과 문제해결력에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 데 있다. 본 연구는 단일 집단 사전-사후 설계로 연구 대상은 지적장애 특수학교 중학과정에 다니는 학생 6명으로 편의 표집하였다. 이들 학생들에게 PBL을 적용한 가정과 식생활 수업을 6차시 실행한 후 이 수업의 효과를 알아보았다. 1~3차시 주제는 식품 선택과 보관방법이고, 4차시 주제는 샌드위치 재료를 구입하여 보관하는 것이며, 그리고 5~6차시 주제는 샌드위치를 만들어 선물하는 것이다. 지적장애 학생을 위한 PBL 적용 가정과 식생활 교수·학습 과정안을 개발하기 위해서 먼저 학생의 흥미를 유발하며 실생활에서 충분히 발생할 수 있는 '문제'를 개발하였고 이 문제를 해결하는 수업 과정과 학습 자료를 제작한 후 가정교육학 교수 1인과 특수교육 전문가인 교사 3인으로부터 선정된 문제와 개발된 교수·학습 과정안의 타당도 검증을 받았다. 수업 효과를 알아보기 위한 측정도구는 식품 선택과 보관 지식 평가 도구, 문제해결력 관찰 평가와 학생용 자기평가 도구, 학생 수업만족도 평가지, 교사의 수업행동 평가지, 수업 관찰 일지로 구성되며 이 도구들은 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증 받았다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다 첫째, PBL을 적용한 가정과 식생활 수업을 받은 6명 학생 모두가 100점 만점인 식품 선택과 보관 지식 점수에서 사전보다 사후에서 평균 30점 높아졌고 14점 만점인 문제해결력 점수는 사전보다 사후에서 평균 5점 더 높아졌다. 따라서 이 수업은 지적장애 학생들의 식품 선택과 보관 지식과 문제해결력에 효과를 미친다고 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 지적장애 학생들은 PBL을 적용한 가정과 식생활 수업시간에 열심히 참여하였으며 이 수업에 만족감을 느꼈다. 특수교육 전문가인 교사 3인은 이 수업에 대해서 실습을 위한 수업 준비 시간이 오래 걸린 점이 다소 아쉬웠지만 교수·학습 과정안이 타당하게 철저히 준비되었고 학생 간 상호작용이 적절하였으며 문제중심학습 수업 흐름에 맞는 진행을 하였다고 평가하였다. 이 연구를 통해 PBL을 적용한 가정과 식생활 수업은 지적장애 학생들이 식품 선택과 보관부터 안전하고 건강한 음식을 만드는 종합적인 식생활 기술을 습득하여 일상생활에서 발생할 수 있는 식생활 관련 문제를 스스로 해결하는데 도움이 되었다고 사료된다. 따라서 전국의 특수학교의 장애학생들에게 PBL을 적용한 가정과 식생활 수업뿐만 아니라 의생활, 주생활, 소비생활, 아동·가족생활, 자원관리 전 영역을 다루는 가정교과가 특수학교에서 정식교과로 도입되기를 제언한다.

신규간호사의 임상적응 경험에 관한 연구 (A Study on New Graduate Nurses' Clinical Experience of Adaptation)

  • Purpose : This study aimed at understanding the lived experience of new graduate nurse in hospital setting.Method : This study was based on a phenomenological approach. For this study, 8 new graduate nurses participated. The unstructured in-depth interviews were carried out from June to October, 1998. The data was analyzed Van Kaam's method.Results : Clinical new graduate nurses experienced clinical adaptation and endeavor, professional conflict of nursing, disability of nursing performance, work stress and management, maladaptation of human relationships, diverse emotions of interpersonal relationships, change of personal identity, difference between theory and reality of nursing.Clinical adaptation and endeavor included to get familiar with hospital life, satisfaction and worth for nursing, to get familiar with scoldings, calm down by oneself, efforts for self-development. Professional conflicts of nursing included future uncertainties in the hospital, dissatisfactions in work, doubts and regrets in nursing.Disability of nursing performance included lack of knowledges and skills, desolate working, stresses from mistake in working. Work stress and management included psychological signs and symptoms, physical signs and symptoms, management of stress. Maladaptation of human relationships included unsuitabilities in nursing unit climate, difficulties in human relationship. Diverse emotions of interpersonal relationships included regrets and absurdities to clients, thanks and regrets to colleagues, difficulties with doctors, sense of rivalry with colleague nurses. Change of personal identity included to become narrowing life circle, change of personality. The differences between theoretical knowledge and practice included needs of systematic pre-education for clinical nursing practice, differences between nursing educations and clinical practices.Conclusion : Therefore, the human resource management reflecting new graduate nurses' experiences should be developed.

병원직종별 이직의도에 관련된 영향요인 (Factors affecting the turnover intention of hospital employees by job category)

  • This study attempts to analyze the relationship between various job-related factors and the intent to turnover of employees working at different types of hospitals/clinics in urban and rural areas. The data was compiled from 1,506 employees in 21 hospitals and 10 clinics located in Kyung-gi Do. Korea, using a self-administered questionnaire. Major findings are as follows: 1) The intent to turnover was higher for the employees of small hospitals located in rural areas. It was also higher when the employees were less than 30 in age, female, single, had not received college education, and had worked for 2-5 years in their hospitals. 2) An important factor affecting the intent to turnover was job satisfaction, which in turn had a strong correlation with the job itself(opportunity of utilizing abilities and skills, subjective value attached to the current job, sense of accomplishment) and had a rather weak correlation with salary, supervision, promotion and co-worker relationship. 3) In the analysis by job category, it was found that, besides job satisfaction, the intent to turnover was significantly affected by the job itself in case of administrative personnel and by the level of salary in case of nurses. 4) For a successful management of turnover, hospitals need to develop (a) programs for improving adaptive abilities of 'new' employees(who have worked for less than 2 years), and (b) for the other employees(who have worked for more than 2 years), strategies for enhancing job satisfaction by providing the environment where they can show their maximum abilities.

대학 산림교육의 웹기반 프로젝트 학습법(e-PBL) 적용 사례와 학습성과 (An Application and Educational Outcomes of e-PBL (e-Project-based Learning) to University Forest Education)

  • 본 연구는 대학 산림교육 발전을 목적으로 S 대학교 산림과학과 4학년 "도시림관리학 및 실습" 전공과목에 e-PBL (e-Project-based learning) 학습법을 적용한 사례를 소개한다. 특히 2020년 코로나-19 확산으로 비대면 학사 운영 상황에서 학습자들은 온라인 매체를 주로 활용하여 학교숲을 대상으로 프로젝트를 수행하고 결과물을 발표하였다. 학습자 중심의 e-PBL 학습법은 학습자들이 프로젝트 주제를 직접 선정하고 수행함으로써 자기주도학습, 문제해결능력과 의사소통능력 및 책임감 등을 향상시킬 수 있다. 학습자들의 e-PBL 학습성과에 대해 5점 리커트 척도를 이용하여 조사한 결과, 학습자들은 e-PBL 학습법을 통해 동기부여 및 흥미를 유발할 수 있었으며(4.17점), 전공지식에 대한 이해도를 높일 수 있었다(4.17점). 또한, 학습자들은 의사소통능력(4.33점), 문제해결능력(4.25점), 의사결정능력(4.21점)을 향상시킬 수 있었다고 응답하는 등 전반적으로 e-PBL 학습법에 대해 만족하였다. 특히 학습자들은 팀원들과 밀접한 의사소통과 상호협력이 문제 및 전공지식에 대한 이해력 향상에 효과적이었다고 응답하였다. 향후 산림교육에 적합한 e-PBL 학습모델을 개발이 필요하며, 효율적 수업시간의 운영과 e-PBL 학습법 지침 및 제도적 지원이 마련됨으로써 보다 효율적이고 성공적인 산림교육의 발전을 기대한다.

당뇨병 환자의 생활 경험 (The Experience of Life in with Diabetics)

  • The purpose of this study was to describe and understand how diabetics dealt with the result of the various changes of lifestyle. The grounded theory approach of qualitative research methods was used for building a substantive theory about that. The subjects of this study were 10 clients who experienced diabetes from 4 to 30 years. The data was collected from August 1999 to November 1999 through in-depth interviews utilizing home visitation and telephone interview technique then it was and analyzed simultaneously by a constant comparative method in which the new data was continuously coded into categories and properties according to Strauss & Corbin,s methodology. One hundred six concepts were found and they were grouped into 35 categories and then into 14 categories. The results were as follows difficulty, unable to overcome the changes, disposition, disease process, tiredness, supportive environment, perception, handling, concent- ration, mastering, endurance, avoidance, giving up and tailoring. The core phenomenon was 'tiredness' and these categories were synthesized into one core concept, the process of tailoring. The process of tailoring in diabetics consisted of : 1) going through difficulty of disease management 2) experiencing tiredness from the difficulty of disease management 3) perception of disease from tiredness 4) undergoing various self-management 5) controlling the process of tailoring by one's own method. Six hypotheses were derived from the relation of these concepts and four types were from intensity of tiredness, direction of disposition, type of disease process and the level of supportive environment and perception. This study offers better understanding on diabetic experiences and may facilitate more appropriate interventive strategies to provide support, information and knowledge. The nurses should utilize the results to help diabetics enjoy their lives without any trouble and must continuously develop nursing knowledges and skills.

간호관리자 역할의 성공적 수행을 위한 연구 (Nursing Managemant, Strategies for its success)

  • In the past, management had been done over nurses rather than nursing and this brought the existence of general manager and as a result, nurse-manager's position and role are being threatend. For the up-bringing of nursing to firm professional recognition in the 21st century, it is firmly believed that nursing managers are to be in the position to play the role of general manager with professional qualifications; personal qualities and exact understandings on the role and function of each tier group under her/his management. 124 top(3 nursing superintendents), middle-range(23 supervisors) and unit managers(98 head-nurses) from 3 university hospitals in Seoul were interviewed in order to investigate their belief in the role, professional qualifications, personal qualities as well as the strategy for the development of their leadership qualities. The frame of reference for the interview were developed by the researcher in reference to relevant literatures. It was the common belief that qualifications o[ top-managers and mid-managers require an educational background of master's preparation or higher and clinical career for at least 15 years for top-managers and 5 -10 years for mid-managers. The personal qualities required by nurse managers include; leadership, initiative, judgement, self-confidence, flexibility, open-mindedness and strong motivation. Achievment-orientedness would greatly help them become excellent managers. On the other hand, [or more effective management, managers of each teir group are to fully understand their role and perform "their job responsibilities ie. Top managers are supposed to study with emphasis on organization, function and conceptual s~ill while mid-managers concentrate their effort on the development of skills for direction, guidance and human relationship. Unit managers also supposed to have abilities to manage their function with emphasis on development of clinical performance skill, for direction on operative aspects. The strategies for the development of leadership qualities include program-planning at individual instutional level as well as local, national and international level. Nurse-managers are to be motivated and encouraged to participate in the programs in order to effectively communicate within tier groups.oups.

물리치료 내원환자의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석 (An Analysis of Factors Affecting Satisfaction of Physical Therapy Patients)

  • Patient satisfaction is an important factor in evaluating the quality of care. Patient satisfaction may be used to evaluate provider services and facilities, and used to predict the patient returns to a facility. The patients d whether the patient returns to a facility or whether the patient recommends the facility to other people may be affected by a variety of factors of patient satisfaction. Low satisfaction may result in poor compliance with the potential of waste of resources and suboptimal clinical outcome. This study is to identify factors of patient satisfaction that will affect patients decision whether the patient returns or not. A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted in Seoul, Chung-Joo and Bu-Cheon cities, Survey data was obtained from 743 patients who visited the physical therapy practice at university hospitals, general hospitals and clinics. Response rate was 94.4%. The instrument developed by Goldstein et al. (2000) was used and translated into Korean. Several items were added to the instrument. Patient's opinions of service in each domain measured using 5-point Likert-type scales that ranged from strongly disagree to strongly agree. A multiple-regression analytic approach was used to predict overall satisfaction of physical therapy. Age, kindness, scheduling, convenience of parking, privacy, and waiting time predicted the overall satisfaction of physical therapy. The older patients had higher level of satisfaction with physical therapy compared with the younger patients. Patient satisfaction were more affected by access (scheduling and waiting time), administrative technical management (convenience of parking), and interpersonal management (kindness of physical therapists and other staffs) than clinical technical management (physical therapists' skills).

Family-centered interventions for children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus: an integrative review

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of family-centered interventions on improving health outcomes in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM). Methods: A literature search was conducted according to the PRISMA guidelines, using six electronic databases: EMBASE, CINAHL, Medline, CENTRAL, Scopus, and Web of Science. The inclusion criteria encompassed studies with populations of children and adolescents (age <18 years) and at least one parent/caregiver, or only parents/caregivers if the children were very young, and studies that investigated the health outcomes of children and parents/caregivers diagnosed with T1DM. Results: From 2,746 published studies, only nine studies met the inclusion criteria. The key interventions were non-technology-based interventions (n=4), technology-based interventions (n=2), and combined technology- and non-technology-based interventions (n=3). The interventions had effects on glycated hemoglobin, adherence to diabetes management, diabetes self-management behaviors, and parent-child teamwork in diabetes management. Other essential effects were children's quality of life, children's problem-solving skills, parents' quality of life, and parents' coping and depression. Conclusion: Family-centered interventions can effectively improve health outcomes in children and adolescents with T1DM. In the future, family-centered interventions integrated with other approaches, theories, and models should be developed to achieve the best possible outcomes.
