As the major source of information, digital images play an indispensable role in our lives. However, with the development of image processing techniques, people can optionally retouch or even forge an image by using image processing software. Therefore, the authenticity and integrity of digital images are facing severe challenge. To resolve this issue, the fragile watermarking schemes for image authentication have been proposed. According to different purposes, the fragile watermarking can be divided into two categories: fragile watermarking for tamper localization and fragile watermarking with recovery ability. The fragile watermarking for image tamper localization can only identify and locate the tampered regions, but it cannot further restore the modified regions. In some cases, image recovery for tampered regions is very essential. Generally, the fragile watermarking for image authentication and recovery includes three procedures: watermark generation and embedding, tamper localization, and image self-recovery. In this article, we make a review on self-embedding fragile watermarking methods. The basic model and the evaluation indexes of this watermarking scheme are presented in this paper. Some related works proposed in recent years and their advantages and disadvantages are described in detail to help the future research in this field. Based on the analysis, we give the future research prospects and suggestions in the end.
Purpose: This study was to examine the relationship between recovery experience and the burnout among hospital nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was used. The participants were 281 nurses working at three general hospitals located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The data were collected by convenience sampling using self-reported questionnaires that consisted of general characteristics, burnout, recovery experiences, self-efficacy, social support, job demand and organizational system. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Stepwise multiple regression showed that organizational system had the greatest impact on hospital nurses' burnout, followed by job demand, self efficacy, position and recovery experience. Conclusion: Recovery experience is found to be a new factor that influences the burnout among hospital nurses. Therefore, further research is needed for confirming that recovery experience influences the burnout of hospital nurses. Also there is a need to develop a program to increase recovery experience from job stress at the organizational level to reduce hospital nurses' burnout.
Recently, the application of paint protection films (PPFs) for automobiles having a self-recovery coating layer has been grown up. In this study, we report the evaluation results on the basic physical properties of a poly(vinyl chloride)- based PPF containing poly(urea-urethane) hybrid self-recovery coating layer. Depending on the main chemical composition and the thickness of poly(urea-urethane)-based coating layer for PPF, the self-recovery performance by an optical microscope and the stain resistance through color difference value are measured. To improve the surface properties and show its easy-cleaning effect against the polluted things, silicone-modified polyacrylate is introduced to the self-recovery coating composition. The contact angle of water on the coated surface is confirmed to show its hydrophobic surface. Finally, accelerated weathering test of paint protection film with poly(urea-urethane) hybrid coating layer is performed to check the possibility of discoloration and deformation due to long-term exposure on harsh condition.

Self-recovery is a tamper-detection and image recovery methods based on data hiding. It generates two types of data and embeds them into the original image: authentication data for tamper detection and reference data for image recovery. In this paper, a region-based scalable self-recovery (RSS) method is proposed for salient-object images. As the images consist of two main regions, the region of interest (ROI) and the region of non-interest (RONI), the proposed method is aimed at achieving higher reconstruction quality for the ROI. Moreover, tamper tolerability is improved by using scalable recovery. In the RSS method, separate reference data are generated for the ROI and RONI. Initially, two compressed bitstreams at different rates are generated using the embedded zero-block coding source encoder. Subsequently, each bitstream is divided into several parts, which are protected through various redundancy rates, using the Reed-Solomon channel encoder. The proposed method is tested on 10 000 salient-object images from the MSRA database. The results show that the RSS method, compared to related methods, improves reconstruction quality and tamper tolerability by approximately 30% and 15%, respectively.

The purpose of this study was to identify correlation among social support, recovery resilience, and self-care behavior among the elderly with hypertension, as well as to clarify factors that affect self-care behavior. This was a descriptive study conducted with 183 hypertensive seniors over age 65 from three different senior welfare centers in C region. Data of this study were collected from Aug 20-31, 2018. T-test, ANOVA, Pearson's coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression were used for analysis. As a result, the mean score of social support was $3.79{\pm}0.78$ out of 5, recovery resilience was $4.10{\pm}0.71$ out of 5, and self-care behavior was $3.93{\pm}0.51$ out of 5. Self-care behavior had a statistically significant positive correlation with social support(r=.204, p<.001) and recovery resilience(r=.405, p<.001). Factors influencing Self-care behavior were recovery resilience(${\beta}=.36$, p<.001) and regularity of exercise(${\beta}=.17$, p=.019). These factors explained 18.9% of self-care behavior(F=21.02, p<.001). The study results indicate that recovery resilience and regularity of exercise are critical factors affecting self-care behavior among the elderly with of hypertension. Therefore, to promote self-care behavior among the hypertensive seniors, regular exercise must be advised and the development and evaluation of nursing interventions that can improve recovery resilience may be necessary.
