  • Successful industries that have maintained their competitiveness are characterized by well-established skills framework system. Skills framework establishes the agreed-upon, industry-identified knowledge, skills and abilities required to succeed in the workplace. Skills framework forms a solid foundation for the development of outcomes-based instruction and assessment, thus it benefits industry, students, educators and government. Each group has a major stake in the education of our students and in the efficient development of a productive workforce. Particularly in fast-changing fields like information security, relevant data that accurately reflect current and future knowledge and skills enable timely direction of resources, development and revision of industry-relevant curriculum, and efficient development of career information and job profiles. Skills framework occupies an indispensable position in any dialog concerning education or training in technical fields. In this study, we develop the skills framework for information security professionals.

  • The outbreak of the deadly virus COVID-19 is said to infect 17.3Cr people around the globe since 2019. This outbreak is continuously affecting a lot of new people till this day and, most of it is said to under control. However, vaccines introduced around the world can help mitigate the risk of the virus. Apart from medical professionals, prediction models are also said to combinedly help predict the risk of infection based on given datasets. This paper is based on publication of a machine learning approach using regression models to predict the output based on dataset which have indictors grouped based on active, tested, recovered and critical cases along with regions and cities covering most of it from Dubai. Hence, the active cases are tested based on the other indicators and other attributes. The coefficient of the determination (r2) is 0.96, which is considered promising. This model can be used as an frame work, among others, to predict the resources related to the dangerous outbreak.

  • Educators have been making strides in the research into and practices supporting the policy of mainstreaming students with disability. A move towards including students with intellectual disability in community schools with all the other students can be seen in many countries' education systems, including that of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The 'rights of the child' has been the main argument put forward by advocates of this policy in an attempt to move from the medical to the social model. This study argues that, although mainstreaming can be viewed as a positive trend toward effective education, its implementation remains somewhat problematic. It is believed that more investigative research into professionals' attitudes is needed to improve service provision and inform the administration of mainstreaming practices. The attitudes of special education teachers on the policy of mainstreaming are examined and emerging key themes discussed. Furthermore, challenges that continue to inhibit mainstreaming practices in Saudi Arabia are identified.

  • The article notes that one of the reasons for the crisis in education was the sharp discrepancy between the emerging new forms and content and the model of macro-management that has developed over the decades. The level of management of the educational system did not emerge as a specific activity characterized by its own mechanisms and processes, just as qualified carriers of this activity - professionals - managers - did not appear. At the same time, there is practically no theoretical and methodological model of the macrolevel of education management, that is, management of the educational system as an integral structure.

For this, AHP survey is conducted against industrial security professionals and analyzed. Thereafter, the importance and the priority of industrial security management measures are determined. As a result, in a comparison evaluation among the criteria, 'ICT service management' represents the highest weight (0.54). And the sub-criteria could be divided into three groups (Group I, II, III), depending on their importance. The sensitivity analysis results show that if the weight of the criterion, 'ICT systems/networks access control' is doubled, the sub-criteria, 'O/S access control', 'application access control', and 'wired/wireless network access control' are enter into top rank group. In case of the criterion, 'physical/environmental security' is doubled, the sub-criteria, 'protection zoning/access control' and 'disaster prevention on business equipment/counter-terrorism' are enter into the top rank group, 'securing utilities' is enter into the mid rank group.
