TETRA communication system is very versatile system which can transmit voice + data and packet data optimized. Direct mode operation permits to connect between mobiles when mobile stain is out of coverage of networks. It can be more secure communication channel for railway signaling systems. Railway signaling systems use many of wayside signal equipment, which require many maintenance efforts and budget. Many railway authorities want to reduce and replace the wayside equipment. Radio based signaling systems are one of candidate for replacing the conventional signaling systems. The radio based signaling systems can replace track circuit and wayside signal. The radio systems permit to connect between control centers and trains. The radio systems have to ensure high quality of the connectivity more or equal to the existed track circuits. We studied the application of TETRA systems for railway radio systems for bridging between train control centers and trains. We provide an operation scenario for radio based train control system to ensure the safety require to the existed trains control system and satisfied the existed operational availability. We showed the data transmission speed, maximum bit error rate, and data coding for the radio-based signal system using TETRA systems.

Password-based authentication using smart card provides two factor authentications, namely a successful login requires the client to have a valid smart card and a correct password. While it provides stronger security guarantees than only password authentication, it could also fail if both authentication factors are compromised ((1) the user's smart card was stolen and (2) the user's password was exposed). In this case, there is no way to prevent the adversary from impersonating the user. Now, the new technology of biometrics is becoming a popular method for designing a more secure authentication scheme. In terms of physiological and behavior human characteristics, biometric information is used as a form of authentication factor. Biometric information, such as fingerprints, faces, voice, irises, hand geometry, and palmprints can be used to verify their identities. In this article, we review the biometric-based authentication scheme by Cheng et al. and provide a security analysis on the scheme. Our analysis shows that Cheng et al.'s scheme does not guarantee any kind of authentication, either server-to-user authentication or user-to-server authentication. The contribution of the current work is to demonstrate these by mounting two attacks, a server impersonation attack and a user impersonation attack, on Cheng et al.'s scheme. In addition, we propose the enhanced authentication scheme that eliminates the security vulnerabilities of Cheng et al.'s scheme.

인터넷전화는 기존의 PSTN에 비해 통신비용 절감과 사용의 편리성 때문에, 인터넷전화 사용이 확산되고 있다. 광대역통합망(BCN) 구축 일환으로 민간 인터넷사업자와 더불어 2010년 이후 행정 기관에 모든 전화망을 인터넷전화로 전환하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷전화에서 사용되는 IETF SIP 기반 IP-PBX에 대한 해킹 공격 분석 연구이다. 인터넷전화 시스템과 똑같이 구축되어 있는 테스트베드의 IP-PBX에 대한 해킹 공격을 하고 결과를 분석 하여 취약점을 도출한다. 안전한 인터넷 전화를 위하여 취약점을 개선한 보안대책을 제시한다.

미래에는 일상생활에서 우리 삶을 편의를 위한 로봇이나 드론들이 증가할 것이다. 그리고 이것을 제어하기 위한 방법으로 현재 리모컨이나 사람의 음성에 의한 방법이 가장 보편적으로 사용되고 있다. 하지만 리모컨은 사람이 찾아서 일일이 조작해야하며 음성의 경우에는 주변 노이즈를 무시할 수 없다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 팔의 자세정보만으로 무선으로 간편하게 주변 드론이나 로봇들을 제어 할 수 있다는 전제하에 실시간으로 정확하게 팔의 자세정보를 획득하기 위한 경제적인 자세정보 획득방법에 대하여 연구하였다. 이를 위해서 확장 칼만필터를 이용하여 팔의 자세정보에 대한 노이즈를 제거하였으며 팔의 움직임을 감지하기 위하여 저가의 MEMS 타입의 센서를 적용하여 장치의 경제성을 확보하였으며 팔의 착용성을 증대시키기 위하여 FPGA를 활용하여 최대한 칩 하나에 모든 기능을 집적화시켜 소형 경량의 자세정보 획득장치를 개발하였다. 그 결과 1 ms의 실시간성을 확보하였고 확장칼만필터를 적용하여 노이즈가 제거된 정확한 팔의 자세정보를 획득하고 실시간으로 팔의 자세정보를 전시하였다. 이를 통해서 팔의 실시간 자세정보를 이용하여 명령을 생성할 수 있는 기초가 마련되었다.

정부는 2004년 IT839 전략의 하나로 VoIP를 8대 신규 서비스로 지정하였고, 정부와 일부 사업자에 의해 적극적으로 추진되었다. 인터넷전화는 유선전화와는 달리 이동성이 보장되어 어디서나 인터넷 단말기만 가지고 있으면 인터넷에 연결하여 통화를 할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 각종의 부가서비스(영상통화, 데이터전송, 인터넷접속 등)가 가능하다는 장점과 더불어 이용요금도 이동전화와 유선전화와 비교했을 때 저렴한 편이다. 국내 통신 기업들은 포화된 국내 통신서비스 시장의 새로운 비즈니스모델 창출을 위해 각종의 부가서비스 제공이 가능한 인터넷전화에 주목하고 있고 통신 소비자들은 저렴한 인터넷 전화요금과 우리나라의 가계당 통신비중이 높다는 점, 그리고 각종 부가서비스가 제공되는 인터넷전화의 긍정적 요인에 크게 반응할 것으로 보인다. 현재는 VoIP가 유선전화시장을 급속하게 대체할 것으로 예측되며, 초고속 하향패킷접속과 와이브로(WiBro: Wireless Broadband Internet)기반의 이동통신에서 VoIP가 장착이 된다면 이동전화를 위협하는 Killer Application으로 자리 잡게 될 것으로 보인다. 또한, 이 기술은 단지 음성전화 뿐만 아니라 SMS(Short Message Service), 음성채팅, 영상통화 등의 다양한 부가 서비스가 가능하며 통신.방송의 융합에 따른 방송서비스까지 가능한 실시간 멀티미디어 서비스 제공을 위한 핵심기술이라는 점에서 최근에 더욱 관심이 증폭되고 있다. 결국 인터넷 전화는 기존의 일반전화가 가진 장단점을 모두 흡수하여 새로운 혁신을 가져 올 것으로 예상된다. 향후 인터넷 전화의 발전과 대중화를 위한 발판을 마련하기 위한 후속적 연구가 지속되어야 할 것이다.

본 연구는 탈북 청소년 대상 문화예술교육 프로그램의 현재를 성찰하고 향후 나아가야 할 방향성을 모색하는 데 목적을 둔다. 이는 '2010 서울어젠다: 예술교육 발전목표' 이행안(로드맵)의 세 번째 목표인 지역 내 소수자와 이민자들을 포용하는 예술교육 전략에 주목한 것이다. 연구방법은 비판 이론(critical theory)을 바탕으로, 문헌분석과 전문가 인터뷰를 통한 질적 내용 분석(qualitative content analysis)으로 하였다. 분석을 통해 문화예술교육이 지향하는 본질적 목적과 가치를 실현하기 위해서는 탈북 청소년이 체감하는 사회와 정체성 고민에 대해 보다 심도 있는 접근방법과 이해가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 향후 탈북 청소년 문화예술교육 프로그램 설계 시, 학습대상자에 대한 이해가 보다 강조되어야 할 것이다. 아울러 그들이 자신을 표현할 수 있는 기회를 제공하면서 한 개인으로의 성장에 도움을 줄 수 있는 전인적 프로그램의 필요성이 요구된다. 동시에 탈북 청소년을 구분 짓는 프로그램이 기존의 대상화를 강화시킬 수 있다는 우려에 대한 고민도 필요해 보인다.

승강기 시스템은 ICT기술의 발달과 함께 다양한 융합기술을 접목하고 있다. 특히 안전관련 장치로 비상통화장치는 승강기의 의무 사항으로 적용되었으며 그 적용범위 또한 다양하다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 음성 비상통화 장치의 한계를 극복하고 VoIP기반 유무선 환경에서 화상기반의 서비스 구조를 효율적으로 운영 관리할 수 있는 통합 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 방식은 관리자, 서버 그리고 사용자간의 발생하는 승강기내의 다양한 데이터와 화상 기록들을 효과적으로 관리 운영할 수 있도록 하고, 각종데이터와 승강기내의 부가서비스들을 활용하는 통합 구조를 만들어 VoIP 및 클라우드 서비스 환경에서 영상 통화 품질을 확보함과 동시에 유지비용 절감 및 안전관리의 신뢰성을 높이고 다양한 서비스 환경을 이끌어 낼 수 있을 것이다.

이 연구는 지역방송 콘텐츠가 경쟁력을 갖기 위해서는 어떤 프로그램을 제작하여 방송해야 하는지를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 지역방송이 지역민의 뉴스시청을 늘리기 위해서는 정확한 뉴스, 지역소식과 정보제공, 주요 이슈에 대한 논의의 장 제공이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 뉴스의 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 정확성, 공정성, 신뢰성 있는 뉴스 제공과 지역 이슈 논의의 장 제공, 지역의 목소리를 대변하는 것이 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 지역방송의 일반 프로그램의 시청률을 높이기 위해서는 흥미있는 프로그램을 제공하고, 지역민의 참여를 확대해야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 일반 프로그램의 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 흥미 있고 완성도 높은 프로그램의 제공과 지역의 문제와 정보를 다루고, 지역민에게 참여의 장을 제공하는 것이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

GSM 플랫폼은 전 세계적으로 선례가 없는 아주 성공한 무선기술이다. 처음 GSM이 발표된 후 최근 10년 동안 200여 개 국가 10억 이상의 가입자가 사용하고 있으며, 지금도 빠르게 성장하는 모바일 표준으로 세계 모바일 시장을 리드하고 있다. 기존의 모바일 서비스인 음성통화 서비스 이외에 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스 및 국제 로밍이 가능한 3세대 이동통신으로 진화하고 있어 서비스를 제공하는 동안 개인의 사생활 보호 및 안전한 데이터 송수신 기술이 필수적인 구성요소이다. 그러나 현재 GSM을 이용한 안전한 데이터 통신을 위한 보안 알고리즘 및 프로토콜에 대한 문제점이 여러 번 지적되고 있다. 본 논문에서 우리는 2세대/2.5세대 GSM 네트워크 보안의 문제점을 제시 및 분석하여 2세대뿐만 아니라 3세대 네트워크 환경에서도 보다 안전한 서비스를 제공하는 보안 프로토콜을 제안하고자 한다. 이 보안 프로토콜은 SIM/ME 간 SIM 사용자 검증, SIM/ME/AuC 간 인증 및 키 일치 단계 단축으로 강화된 기밀성을 제공한다.

The purpose of this research was to investigate and analyse how Community Forest Initiatives as urban fringe management initiatives made alliances with a variety of interest groups, enrol them in the urban fringe management processes using the Actor Network Theory. The Thames Chase Community Forest Initiative was selected and its area of operation included a $97 km^2$ area of green-belt area in East London. It was a instrument far improving and protecting the unique characteristics of the countryside landscape from urban developments as well as evaluating the impact of forestry inclusion in land use planning in the urban fringe. It was operated through a tiered structure comprising the Thames Chase Joint Committee and the management team. They employed a variety of devices to speak with one voice to bring about an effective operation process and to secure the enrolment of a variety of interest groups in its operational processes. Of note, the initiative's actor network impacted on improvement to and management of the countryside landscape despite not owning any land itself. As a result, when urban fringe management initiatives will be launched in South Korea to achieve a more effective and efficient urban fringe management, local councillors and representatives from public and non-government bodies should be more responsive to local communities' views and needs and work more vigorously on their behalf through lobbying, seeking media support, and so on. Moreover, better understanding and communication between local authorities' officers and management initiatives' teams are essential to avoid duplication of work practice.
