직결나사 연결 접합부에 관한 구조성능평가 연구 (A Study of Structural Performance of Self-Drilling Screw Connections)

  • 춤이 깊은 골형 데크는 그 단면의 형태가 개방형 단면(개단면(開斷面))으로 단면의 불안정성에 의한 휨비틀림 등의 구조적 문제를 일으킬 수 있다. 박판의 냉간성형강인 데크와 캡플레이트의 접합에 사용되는 연결재(파스너)는 볼트, 리벳, 용접 그리고 나사 접합이 있다. 이 연구는 냉간성형강을 사용한 춤이 깊은 데크와 보강용 캡플레이트간의 직결나사 접합부에 관한 실험적 연구로, 직결나사 접합부의 파괴거동과 최대내력에 영향을 주는 직결나사 배치방법, 직결나사 수, 직결나사 간격 그리고 직결나사 머리밑판의 두께변화를 실험변수로 하여 국외 설계기준식 비교 분석하고자 한다.

CNC 원통연삭기 이송오차의 발생요인에 관한 실험적 연구 (An experimental study on the generative elements of feed errors in CNC cylindrical grinding machine)

  • The accuracy of machine tools is the major factor concerned with the acuracy of the processed work. The feed errors of feed system in machine tool, therfore, make the machining errors of work directly on processing. In this point, this study focused on the generative elements of feed errors in CNC cylindrical grinding machine, such as supporting method of ball screw, the effect of pitch and yaw error and the position detecting method in servo system when operating its shaft of grinding wheel head. Furthermore, in order to improve the driving accuracy of this machine tool, feed errors are measured by a laser interferometer. Results obtained in this study provide some useful informations to attain high accuracy of CNC machine tool.

호환 가능한 임플랜트 보철용 유지 나사들의 형태 비교와 풀림 회전력의 측정에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON GEOMETRIC COMPARISON OF FOUR INTERCHANGEABLE IMPLANT PROSTHETIC RETAINING SCREWS AND MEASUREMENT OF LOOSENING TORGUE)

  • Since the concept of osseointegration was introduced by Branemark of Sweden, dental implants have been used for various dental prosthetic treatments. The survival rate of dental implant is likely to be closely related to the total biomechanical role of each component of implant system. The use of interchangeable component is very attractive for dental practitioners because such an approach would save treatment cost, flexibility of prosthetic treatment options as well as conveniences. Therefore, the use of interchangeable implant system has been increasing without scientific assessment of safety and efficacy of various interchangeable implant system. The purpose of this study, therefore, were to compare the geometric characteristic of four interchangeable dental implant screws and the loosening torque of these screws. Four types of dental implant screws tested in this study were Nobelpharma, 3i, Impla-med, Restore. Four screws each of the test specimens were subjected for scanning electron microscopic examinations under the same condition and a 35x magnified standard SEM picture was objected from each test specimen using JSM-5200 scanning microscope. From each of the SEM pictures, eight parameters. i.e., diameter of screw head. screw length, thread pitch, major diameter. neck diameter, neck length, crest width and root width were determined using a caliper. The measurement for each parameters were then corrected for their magnification factor. The loosening torque were also determined by using a torque gauge. All of the measurements were statistically analyzed by ANOVA test and multiple range test. Statistical significance was set in advance at the probability level of less than 0.05. All analyses were done with SPSS software for the personal computer. The conclusion obtained from this studies were summarized as the following; 1. No statistically significances were noted in the thread pitch. and crest width in the four screws, and in the case of major diameter, the Impla-med screw was significantly smaller than the other three screws (p<0.05). Therefore, four implant bolts could be physically inserted in a abutment nuts. 2. The diameter of screw head was decreased in the order of Restore, 3i, Nobelpharma, Impla-med screws and the length of screws were decreased in the order of 3i, Restore, Nobelpharma and Impla-med. The diameter of neck was decreased in the order of Impla-med, Restore. Nobelpharma, 3i screws. The differences of each of these parameters were statistically significant (p<0.05). The width of root of screws were decreased in the order of Nobelpharma, Impla-med, Restore and 3i. The differences among Nobelpharma and Impla-med. Restore and 3i were statistically significant (p<0.05). 3. When the screws were loosening 1, 3, 4 and 5 times, the loosening torque for Impla-med and 3i screws were significantly higher than that of Nobelpharma or Restore screws (p<0.05). However, when statistically smaller than that of 3i, Restore or Nobelpharma screws(p<0.05).

나사산 형상에 따른 초소형 나사 전조공정의 성형특성 고찰 (Investigation into Thread Rolling Characteristics of Subminiature Screws According to Thread Shapes)

  • 최근 전자제품의 소형화 및 경량화 추세에 따라 초소형 체결제품의 개발 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이동통신기기 적용을 위한 초소형 나사(외경 1.0 mm 피치 0.25 mm)의 전조공정에 대한 연구를 수행하였으며, 특히 대칭 나사산과 비대칭 나사산의 성형을 위한 전조공정의 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. 유한요소해석을 통해 전조금형의 수평방향 간격, 수직방향 간격, 이동 거리 등의 공정변수가 성형된 나사산의 형상정밀도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 대칭 나사산과 비대칭 나사산에서 발생되는 재료 유동의 차이를 비교하고, 그에 따른 공정변수의 영향을 분석하였다. 상기 해석 결과로부터 도출된 공정변수를 실제 전조공정에 적용한 결과 대칭 나사산과 비대칭 나사산 모두 원하는 형상정밀도 내에서 성공적으로 성형될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

새바다호의 선박소음 분포에 관한 연구 (DISTRIBUTION OF VESSEL NOISES IN THE SAE-BA-DA)

  • 1978년 8월 23일 부터 동년 10월 20일 사이에 우리 나라의 남부와 싱가폴 북부 해상에서 새바다호의 순항, 예망, 표박시의 선박소음에 관하여 실험한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 외부 갑판상의 가장 높은 소음원은 연돌로 돌출하는 배기소음이고, 연돌뒤(No.9)에서 순항, 예망, 표박시 92,90,87dB로 가장 높았으며, 선수(No. 1)에서 65,63,53dB로 가장 낮았다. 2. 학생 거주구역에서는 주기소음보다 통풍기나 에이콘의 가동소음이 주소음원을 이루었는데 통풍기를 가동하면 표박할때와 에이콘을 가동하면서 순항때를 비교하면, 출입구(No. 14)에서 85,69dB로 가장 높았고 학생실(No. 22)에서 45,40dB로 가장 낮았다. 3. 중앙부의 선원거주구역에서는 순항소음압이 예망소음압보다 2dBwjd도로 선원식당(No. 30)까지는 높게 나타났고, 급냉실(No. 31)로 부터는 반대로 낮게 측정 되었다. 또 이 구역에서는 출입문을 닫았을 때 선장실(No, 25)에서 13dB, 선원식당(No, 30)에서 3dB씩 낮아졌다. 4. 순항시 주기소음압은 Pitch $8^{\circ}$$12^{\circ}$때 103, 105dB 였는데, Pitch $8^{\circ}$로 예망시는 106dB로서 3dB의 증가를 보였다. 5. 선형과 기관이 같은 오대산호와 소음을 비교 하면 식당, 싸롱, 학생식에서 $4\~6dB$씩 낮았고 작업갑판상에서는 14dB나 높은 음압이였다.

무인이송로봇기반 자동 소사료 공급 시스템 개발 및 검증 (Development and Verification of the Automated Cow-Feeding System Driven by AGV)

  • 본 논문에서는 대형화되고 기업화되어가고 있는 국내 축산농가를 위한 AGV와 스크류컨베이어 기반의 자동 소사료 공급시스템에 대해 소개한다. 제안된 자동 소사료 공급시스템은 최상단에 펠렛형 혼합 사료가 적재되는 호퍼부, 호퍼부에서 펠렛형 혼합사료를 배출부로 이송시키는 스크류컨베이어를 장착한 이송부, 벨트컨베이어로 구성된 배출부 및 시스템 이동을 위한 전자 유도선 주행방식의 AGV로 구성되어있다. 적재된 사료 무게는 이송부의 하부에 위치한 로드셀에 의해 측정된다. 개별 우사 셀에 설치되는 RFID TAG에 미리 저장된 사료 배출정보를 시스템이 읽어 정해진 양만큼의 사료를 시스템이 주행하면서 배출하게된다. 공급 배출 테스트시스템을 제작하여 사료의 공급 능력을 결정짓는 사료 이송부의 스크류 외경, 스크류 샤프트 외경, 스크류 피치 간격 등을 포함하는 스크류컨베이어 설계인자 도출을 하였으며 도출된 설계인자들을 최종 공급시스템 제작 시에 적용하였다. 사료 급이시스템을 제어하기 위해 DSP기반의 주제어기 및 공급시나리오에 따른 급이알고리듬도 함께 개발되었다. 실험을 통해 국내 우사에 사료공급조건을 만족시키기 위해 설정된 목표인 5 m의 거리를 0.1 m/sec의 속도로 주행하면서 7 마리가 수용되는 한 개의 우사에 필요한 총 21 kg의 사료를 초당 420 g으로 균일하게 공급이 가능함을 확인하여 개발된 축우용 무인사료공급시스템이 규격화된 국내 축산농가에 적용될 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다.

Development of a Biped Walking Robot Actuated by a Closed-Chain Mechanism

  • We developed a new type of human-sized BWR (biped walking robot), named KUBIR1 which is driven by the closed-chain type of actuator. A new type of the closed-chain actuator for the robot is developed, which is composed of the four-bar-link mechanism driven by the ball screw which has high strength and high gear ratio. Each leg of the robot is composed of 6 D.O.F joints. For front walking, three pitch joints and one roll joint at the ankle. In addition to this, one yaw joint for direction change, and another roll joint for balancing the body are attached. Also, the robot has two D.O.F joints of each hand and three D.O.F. for eye motion. There are three actuating motors for stereo cameras for eyes. In all, a 18 degree-of-freedom robot was developed. KUBIR1 was designed to walk autonomously by adapting small 90W DC motors as the robot actuators and batteries and controllers are on-boarded. The whole weight for Kubir1 is over 90Kg, and height is 167Cm. In the paper, the performance test of KUBIR1 will be shown.

정밀나사 비전검사시스템용 자동공급장치 진동특성의 해석 (Vibration Analysis for a Feeding Unit of Vision Inspection System of Precision Screws)

  • Recent trends for the miniaturization and weight reduction of portable electronic parts have driven uses of subminiature components. Assembly of the miniaturized components requires subminiature screws of which pitch sizes are micrometer scale. To produce such subminiature screws with high precision threads, not only a precision forming technology but also a high-precision measurement technology is required. The present study covers the development of a vision inspection system for precision screws for the automatic measurement of subminiature screws with high speed and reliability. In this study, the feeding unit that transfers the subminiature screws to the inspection unit is investigated through finite element(FE) analysis. The vibration characteristics of the feeding unit are predicted through FE analyses, from which we can determine whether the subminiature screw can be stably fed into the inspection unit or not. The effects of several design parameters on the vibration characteristics are also discussed.

임플랜트 나사선 경사각이 치조골 응력 분포에 미치는 영향 (THREE-DIMENTIONAL FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF STRESS DISTRIBUTION FOR DIFFERENT IMPLANT THREAD SLOPE)

  • Statement of problem: The screws of dental implant, having various thread types, can be categorized into different classes by their geometrical form, and each type transmits dissimilar amount and form of stress to alveolar bone. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to find an inclination angle of the screw thread that is favorable in distributing the stresses to alveolar bone. Material and methods: In this study, We used three dimensional finite element analysis with modeling having three types of thread inclination angles and fixed pitch-0.8 mm (single thread type with $3.8^{\circ}$ inclination, double thread type with $7.7^{\circ}$ inclination, triple thread type with $11.5^{\circ}$ inclination). Results: The results obtained from this study were as follows; 1. When the number of thread increased, the amount of Von-Mises stress was reduced since the generated stress was effectively distributed. 2. Since the maximum principal stress affects on the alveolar bone can influence deeply on the longevity of the implants when comparing the magnitude of the maximum principal stress double thread had least amount of stress. This shows that the double thread screw gave best result. Conclusion: In conclusion, double, and triple thread screws were found to be more effective on distribution of the stress than the single thread screws. But, increasing in the thread inclination angle such as triple thread screw relate on the magnitude of the maximum principal stress affecting on the alveolar bone can become problematic. Thus, effective combination of thread number and thread inclination angle can help prolonging the longevity of implant.

  • The production of high-precision micro-sized screws, used to fasten parts of micro devices, generally utilizes a cold thread-rolling process and two flat dies to create the teeth. The process is fairly complex, involving parameters such as die shape, die alignment, and other process variables. Thus, up-front finite-element(FE) simulation is often used in the system design procedure. The final goal of this paper is to produce high-precision screw with a diameter of $800{\mu}m$ and a thread pitch of $200{\mu}m$ (M0.8${\times}$P0.2) by a cold thread rolling process. Part I is a first-stage effort, in which FE simulation is used to establish process parameters for thread rolling to produce micro-sized screws with M1.4${\times}$P0.3, which is larger than the ultimate target screw. The material hardening model was first determined through mechanical testing. Numerical simulations were then performed to find the effects of such process parameters as friction between work piece and dies, alignment between dies and material. The final shape and dimensions predicted by simulation were compared with experimental observation.
