Densification and Electrical Properties of Screen-printed PZT Thick Films (스크린 프린팅법으로 제작한 PZT 후막의 치밀화와 전기적 특성)

  • Ferroelectric $Pb(Zr_{0.52}Ti_{0.48})O_3$ (PZT(52/48)) thick films were fabricated by the screen-Printing method on the alumina substrates, and $PbTiO_3$ (PT) Precursor solution, which prepared by sol-gel method, was spin-coated on the PZT(52/48) thick films to obtain a densification. Its structural and electrical properties of the PZT(52/48) thick films with the treatment of PT precursor solution coating were investigated. The particle size of the thick films was increased with increasing the number of coatings and the thickness of the PZT-6 (6: number of coatings) films was about $60{\mu}m$. The relative dielectric constant increased and the dielectric loss decreased with increasing the number of PT sol coatings. The relative dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the PZT-6 thick film were 475 and 2 %, respectively. The remanent polarization, coercive field and breakdown strength of the PZT-6 film were $32.6{\mu}C/cm^2$, 15 kV/cm and 60 kV/cm, respectively.

  • Electronic display markets has been developed. The cathode ray tube of brown form recently celebrated their 100th by first display. Also LCD of flat form recently celebrated their 25th by second display and it has advantage of small volume, lower consumption power. But FPD has problem that is property of brittle and noncarrying by glass substrate. Therefore the arrival of portable electronics devices has put an increasing premium on durable, lightweight and inexpensive display components. It is flexible display by third display. Also electronics field such as printed wiring board, RFID, membrane switch prefer flexible display. The conductive pattern can be used mostly in field of electronic displays and electronics. This manufacture of conductive pattern in present used is screen printing. The the conductive pattern. It has advantages of flexibility, high conductivity, drying in low temperature, good conductivity. screen printing has problem that is low productivity and use not flexible substrate because of high fire temperature. This study was developed novel method to form the conductive pattern. It has advantages of flexibility, high conductivity, drying in low temperature, good conductivity.

Introduction of a VOD Mobile App for Promoting VOD Service of a Domestic Digital Cable Broadcasting (국내 디지털케이블 방송사의 VOD 서비스 활성화를 위한 VOD 모바일 앱 개발 사례)

  • As the subscribers of the digital cable and IPTV broadcasting are increasing, the VOD service has established a solid foothold as a profit model of the broadcasting industries. And what's more, the VOD service is emerging as a key application of the N-screen technologies. In the circumstance, broadcasting companies are trying to provide mobile services to improve the satisfaction of their VOD services usage. The paper introduces a VOD mobile app (of a domestic digital cable broadcasting), which includes the functions of promoting the VOD programs printed on a VOD guide book, directly transmitting the information (e.g., book-marking, remote-control signals) generated by the VOD mobile app to a set-top box, and watching the video contents stored in the mobile device on TV.

  • Top of the alumina body which is made according to plan has been printed using a screen printer equipment in order to print an electrode pattern. The electrode is connected with the quartz crystal oscillator of the piezoelectricity method which has a piezoelectric characteristic. The pressure contact department has been experimented using three type of the teflon. The teflon is good for pressure delivery vector but it is bad restitution. So we devised the structure which inserts the metal in the teflon. Bottom of the module is connected with the signal processing department which is planned in advance and then has investigated to characteristic. Therefore we have got the best output-voltage and frequency characteristic follows in the pressure.

  • Ferroelectric PZT heterolayered thick films were fabricated by the alkoxide-based sol-gel method. PZT(20/80) and PZT(80/20) paste were made and alternately screen-printed on the alumina substrates. The coating and drying procedure was repeated 4 times to form the heterolayered thick films. The thickness of the PZT heterolayered thick films was approximately 60 mm. All PZT thick films showed the typical XRD patterns of a perovskite polycrystalline structure. The relative dielectric constant and the dielectric loss of the PZT thick films sintered at $1050^{\circ}C$ were 1382 and 1.90%, respectively. The remanent polarization and coercive field of the PZT thick films sintered at $1050^{\circ}C$ were $14.15{\mu}C/cm^2$ and 19.13kV/cm, respectively.

  • Wekk oriented $Bi_{2} Sr_{2} CaCu_{2} O_{8}$ suppercondcting thick films were fabricared on copper tape by LiReac-PreCu (liquid reaction between a Cu-free precousor and Cu tape) method. Cu-free precursor power which is composed of $Bi_{2}Sr_{2}Ca_{5}$ was printed on a copper tape by screen printing and was heat-treated. The speciment were partially in a molten state at the heat treatment temperature (85$0^{\circ}C$~87$0^{\circ}C$). The heat heat treatments for the reaction were performed in air or low oxygen pressure in several stages. XRD analyses of the resulting Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 superconducting tapes show that the $Bi_{2} Sr_{2} CaCu_{2} O_{8}$ phase is dominant and a small amount of $Bi_{2} Sr_{2} Cu_{2} O_{6}$ phase is detected. Both phases are aligned in the c-axis direction.

A Study on Characterization of Thick Film used as Superconducting Fault Current Limiter (고온 초전도 전류제한기용 후막의 특성 연구)

  • In this paper, to fabricate a superconducting fault current limiter(FCL) of thick film type, $YBa_2Cu_3O_X superconducting thick films were fabricated by surface diffusion process using the screen printing method. Powder mixture of $3BaCuO_2$+2CuO was screen printed on $Y_2BaCuO_5$(d=15mm). And critical current densities of the thick films were observed as the sintering temperature(92$0^{\circ}C$~95$0^{\circ}C$) and holding time(2h~10h). Based on experimental data, the thick films for superconducting FCL were sintered at $940^{\circ}C$ in 2 hours. The superconducting FCL with a current limiting area of 1mm wide and 66mm long was prepared on $Y_2BaCuO_5$ substrate. To measure the characterization of the fabricated FCL, an alternating voltage (60Hz) was applied to the FCL in 77K liquid nitrogen. At an applied voltage of 4V, the FCL was limited from 20A into 0.6A not farther than 0.5ms.

  • 현재 결정질 실리콘 태양전지의 전 후면 전극의 형성은 스크린 프린팅 방법이 주를 이루고 있다. 스크린 프린팅 방법은 쉽고 빠르게 인쇄가 가능한 반면 단가가 높고 금속 페이스트에 첨가된 여러 혼합물에 의해서 전극과 기판 사이의 저항이 크다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 스크린 프린팅 방법으로 태양전지의 seed layer를 인쇄하고, Cu도금을 진행함으로써 태양전지의 전기적 특성을 비교하였다. 주요 전극 형성을 Cu 도금을 사용함으로써 전극과 기판사이의 저항을 감소시키고 값비싼 Ag페이스트를 값싼 Cu로 대체함으로써 가격을 낮출 수 있는 장점이 있다. 실험에 사용된 Si 웨이퍼 특성은 $156{\times}156$ mm2, 200 ${\mu}m$, 0.5-3.0 ${\Omega}{\cdot}cm$ and p-type 웨이퍼를 사용하였다. 웨이퍼는 표면조직화, p-n접합 형성, 반사방지막 코팅을 하였으며 스크린 프린팅 방법을 이용해 전 후면 전극을 인쇄하고 열처리 과정을 통해 전극을 형성하였다. 이 후 전면에 Cu도금을 실행하여 태양전지를 완성하였다. 완성된 태양전지는 솔라 시뮬레이터 및 TLM패턴을 이용하여 전기적 특성을 분석하였으며, SEM과 linescan, 광학현미경 등을 이용하여 전극을 분석하였다.

  • Carbon nanotube (CNT) cathodes were fabricated using nano-sized silver (Ag) powders as a bonding material between the CNTs and cathode electrodes. The effects of the powder size on the sintering behavior, the current density and emission image for CNT cathodes were investigated. As the diameter of the Ag powders decreases to 10 nm, the sintering temperature of the CNT cathode was lowered primarily due to the higher specific surface area of the Ag powders. In this study, it was demonstrated that nano-sized Ag powders can be feasibly used as a bonding material for a screen-printed CNT cathode, yielding a high current density and a uniform emission image.
