The Influence of Service Quality Factors on Reuse Intention (항공사의 유·무형, 인적서비스 품질요인이 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 : 항공사 브랜드 및 브랜드태도의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • Purpose - This study's aims are to examine the effects of airline service quality on brand image, brand attitude and reuse intention and the mediating roles of brand image and brand attitude in the relationship between airline service quality and reuse intention. Research design, data and methodology - A total of 500 questionnaire copies were distributed and 474 were used for the empirical study after excluding some empirical inappropriate or unusable ones. To analyze the collected data, the SPSS/WIN 22.0 statistical package was used. Results - The result of analysis showed that all the intangible, tangible and human elements of the airline service quality positively influenced on brand image and brand attitude and did not directly influence on reuse intention. However, brand image and brand attitude played mediating roles in the relationship between all the service quality elements and reuse intention. Conclusions - This means that airlines need to develop service quality, which is differentiated and provides special feelings for customers and work out improvement strategies for positive brand images and attitudes, since customers choose and reuse airlines, based on brand images and attitudes, which are perceived and formed through the experience of airline service quality and word of mouth.

Ground Experiment of Spacecraft Attitude Control Using Hardware Testbed

  • The primary objective of this study is to demonstrate ground-based experiment for the attitude control of spacecraft. A two-axis rotational simulator with a flexible ann is constructed with on-off air thrusters as actuators. The simulator is also equipped with payload pointing capability by simultaneous thruster and DC servo motor actuation. The azimuth angle is controlled by on-off thruster command while the payload elevation angle is controlled by a servo-motor. A thruster modulation technique PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) employing a time-optimal switching function plus integral error control is proposed. An optical camera is used for the purpose of pointing as well as on-board rate sensor calibration. Attitude control performance based upon the new closed-loop control law is demonstrated by ground experiment. The modified switching function turns out to be effective with improved pointing performance under external disturbance. The rate sensor calibration technique by Kalman Filter algorithm led to reduction of attitude error caused by the bias in the rate sensor output.

Influence of Marriage Immigrants' Safety Education Attitude on Safety Awareness: Focusing on Mediating Effect of Korean Language Ability (결혼이민자의 안전교육 태도가 안전의식에 미치는 영향: 한국어능력의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of Korean language ability on the effect of marriage immigrants' safety education attitude on safety awareness. A survey was conducted on marriage immigrants living in the Daejeon and Chungcheong regions, and the responses of 109 people were used for the analysis. After controlling for gender, nationality, age, educational background, period of stay, region of residence, and presence or absence of safety accidents, the analysis was performed according to the step-by-step approach of Baron and Kenny(1986). In order to verify the statistical significance of the mediating effect of Korean proficiency, the Sobel test was conducted. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that marriage immigrants' safety education attitude had a significant positive (+) effect on safety awareness, and Korean language ability had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between marriage immigrants' safety education attitude and safety awareness.

  • Purpose: Due to COVID-19, the rapidly changing untact culture from offline to online has spread rapidly, increasing the utilization of omni-channel. However, among the studies on consumers in the online market, there are not many studies that analyze Shopping Values and attitudes toward omnichannel Acceptance. Research design, data, and methodology: This study investigated through empirical analysis how Shopping Values and innovation propensity of consumers using omni channels affect omni channel Acceptance attitudes. The analysis results based on a total of 268 questionnaires using SPSS v.23 and AMOS v.23 statistical programs are as follows. Results: First, it was found that the perceived Value of omnichannel use had a positive effect on the innovation tendency, and the pleasure Value had a greater effect than the actual Value. Second, it was found that the practical and hedonic Value of the omnichannel had a positive effect on the attitude of service Acceptance. Third, it was found that Omni Channel's consumer innovation tendency had a positive effect on service Acceptance attitude. Conclusion: This study proved that Shopping Value perception and individual innovation propensity for omnichannel services have a positive effect on Acceptance attitude, and it is of academic significance in that it expanded understanding of what factors are needed to increase Acceptance attitude of Omni Channel services.

Relationship between Caregiver's Dementia Attitude and Care Behavior: The Mediating Effect of Compassion Competence (요양보호사의 치매태도와 돌봄행위 간의 관계에서 공감역량의 매개효과)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate compassion competence and its mediating effects on the relationship between attitudes toward dementia and care behavior among caregivers of older adults with dementia in nursing homes. Methods: 211 participants were recruited for this cross-sectional study. Data were collected from February 1st to May 24th, 2023, through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and the bootstrapping method. Results: The mean score for care behavior was 3.67±0.97 (range 1~5). Caring behaviors were significantly associated with attitudes toward dementia (r=.76, p<.001) and compassion competence (r=.75, p<.001). Using Baron and Kenny's approach and PROCESS Macro model 4, care behavior was directly affected by dementia attitude (β=.76, p<.001). Compassion competence (β=.66, p<.001) was directly affected by dementia attitude. The partial mediating effects of compassion competence (β=.47, p<.001, 95% confidence interval 0.10~0.23) on the impact of dementia attitude on care behavior was confirmed. Conclusion: The results suggest that compassion competence should be considered when developing nursing interventions to enhance dementia-related attitudes and improve care behavior among caregivers of older adults with dementia.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of reading education program for high school on students' self-esteem and reading attitude and satisfaction of students through the whole reading education process. The program that consists of 10 classes was developed and reading education was conducted. Through analysis of pre-post variance in self-esteem and reading attitude, effects of reading education has been proved. Also, satisfaction as evaluation about the whole reading education process was surveyed. As a result, it was found that reading education that uses program based on board game affects high school students' self-esteem and reading attitude, enhances reading attitude and promotes reading motivation.

  • In this study, we investigated the influences of Integrated Science and Science Inquiry Experiment developed under 2015 Revised National Science Curriculum on students' interest in science, scientific attitude, views on STS, and the nature of science (NOS). 223 tenth graders in Seoul metropolitan area participated in this study. We conducted the survey prior to and after the Integrated Science and Science Inquiry Experiment course using same instruments and compared the results of the pre-test and post-test. The analyses of the results reveal that there were significant improvements in the scores of the pre- and post-test on the interest in science and scientific attitude. In the case of views on STS, there were significant improvements in items related to science research ethics, however there were no significant differences in the remaining items. Also, there were no significant differences in the scores of the pre- and post-test on views on NOS. On the bases of the results, we discuss educational implications and suggest further studies.

The Effects of Science Instruction Using Argumentation on Elementary School Students' Learning Motivation and Scientific Attitude (논의과정 활용 수업이 초등학생의 학습 동기와 과학태도에 미치는 영향*)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the efffcts of science instruction using argumentation, with Tolumin's structure of argument, on students' learning motivation and scientific attitude. In the instruction, well-structured problems selected to be argument, in which interactions among students are stressed. The subjects were classified into two groups: One group is composed of sixty-seven students (experimental group) who were participated in solving processes of the scientific argument tasks, and the other is composed of sixty-nine students (comparative group) who were participated in the traditional teaching method. The results of this study implied that experimental group has a positive effect on students' learning motivation and scientific attitude.

The predictability of science experience, school support and learning flow on the attitude of scientific inquiry in physical computing education (피지컬 컴퓨팅 교육에서 과학적 탐구 태도에 대한 과학경험, 교육지원, 학습몰입의 예측력 규명)

  • The physical computing education, as the emerging field, is a form of education that helps learners to develop the attitude of scientific inquiry by developing meaningful and creative output through the integration of hardware and software elements. Based on the literature, the authors of the study used science experience, school support and learning flow as the variables that predict the outcome variable which is the attitude of scientific inquiry. The authors collected data from 64 fourth and sixth graders who studied physical computing at an institution for the gifted and talented in Korea and then analyzed them using descriptive statistics, correlation, multiple regression and simple mediation analysis methods. As a result, science experience and learning flow significantly predicted the attitude of scientific inquiry. In addition, learning flow mediated the relationship between science experience and the attitude of scientific inquiry, and the relationship between school support and the attitude of scientific inquiry. Based on these results, the authors propose that to promote the attitude of scientific inquiry in physical computing education, strategies must be implemented for improving science experience, school support and learning flow in instructional design.

A Study on the Learning Attitude of some Dental of Dental Technology Department students (일부 치기공학과 학생들의 학습태도에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The research comprehends learning attitude level of Dental Technology Department students, searches variable element to affect and is trying to provide basic material of method arrangement to induce change of positive learning attitude. Methods: It was conducted survey 410 students, who understand purpose of the research, consentient to involve research, in universities which is located in Daegu area, Daejeon City, Gangwon province from Aug., 1stto Nov.,10th2017, Questionnaires were distributed to 410 students totally. it was finally analyzed 374 questionnaires except 36 questionnaires that answer was not sufficient. Results: The positive answer over 'Average (3)' among study attitude factors was presented highly in order of 'Targeting & Execution' (3.351). 'Effective Content Summary' (3.307), 'Study Plan' (3.173), 'Priority and Self-Management' (3.116), and 'Study Habit & Enhancement' (2.925) showed negative trend under average. The five sub-factors of learning attitude were examined according to general characteristics and there were statistically significant differences according to gender, grade, high school of origin, academic aptitude(p<0.01, p<0.001). Conclusion : As male students show more positive learning attitude than female students, we need to develop more special programs to encourage them. Meanwhile we also need to find out a motive to bring positive effect to change the academic aptitude and learning attitude of female students, or methods to improve their learning attitude in a complementary way by their high school, gender and grade.
