효과적인 실험 수업을 위한 개념 변화 수업모형의 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of a Conceptual Change Model for Effective Laboratory Teaching)

  • In this study, a conceptual change model for effective laboratories was developed and its instructional effect on students' achievement, the acquisition of scientific conceptions, and the attitudes toward science was investigated. Considering several conceptual change models in literature and Korean educational situations, the conceptual change model was developed. The model consists of 5 stages; preliminary, prediction, exploration, consolidation and reconstruction, and application. The treatment and control groups (2 classes) were selected from a middle school in Seoul, and taught about the changes of states, density, and dissolution for three weeks. Prior to instruction, the Group Assessment of Logical Thinking and the Learning Approach Questionnaire were administered, and their scores were used as covariate and / or blocking variable. To examine students' alternative conceptions before the instructions, a pre-conceptions test was also administered. After the instructions, students' achievement, the acquisition of scientific conceptions, and the attitudes toward science were measured with a researcher-made achievement test, a post-conceptions test, and the subtests of the Test of Science-Related Attitudes, respectively. The results indicated that the score of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group in the post-conceptions test. The students in the treatment group had also less alternative conceptions than those in the control group. However, there were no significant differences for the achievement and the attitudes toward science. Educational implications are discussed.

  • This study has been performed in order to achieve three objectives. They are as follows: To analyze, based on the research literatures, the nature of scientific inquiry ability and the characteristics of its constitutive elements. To identify inquiry skills and techniques essential to such areas as physics, chemistry, biology. and earth science. To develop instructional models and materials for enhancing inquiry ability on the part of high school students. It was found in the study that the scientific inquiry was interpreted in terms of different meanings according to the viewpoint of the person who are interested in the nature of science. The scientific inquiry has been viewed as the process of knowledge formation, scientific method, inquiry process or process skills depending on the epistemological, methodological, educational perspectives, respectively. It was also identified that certain kind of skills or techniques would be used for inquiry in only one specific area of the science. This study drew a conclusion based on the findings that the skills and techniques will effectively be learned when those are taught with specific knowledge in each area of the science. Reported in this paper are the materials developed, for fostering scienctific inquiry skills on the part of the high school students. The materials were developed, using two themes of a theoretical-abstract chemistry topic and a conceptual-concrete biology topic. Those materals were designed for an experiment and an observation, respectively.

머신러닝과 설명가능한 인공지능 SHAP을 활용한 사범대 과학교육 전공생의 전공만족도 및 학업만족도 영향요인 탐색 (Exploration of Factors on Pre-service Science Teachers' Major Satisfaction and Academic Satisfaction Using Machine Learning and Explainable AI SHAP)

  • 본 연구는 사범대 과학교육전공 재학생의 전공만족도와 학업만족도에 영향을 주는 요인을 머신러닝 모델인 랜덤 포레스트와 그래디언트 부스팅 모델과 SHAP 기법을 활용하여 탐색했다. 연구 결과, 그래디언트 부스팅 모델의 성능이 랜덤 포레스트보다 우수한 것으로 드러났으나 그 차이는 크지 않았다. 전공만족도에 영향을 주는 요인으로는 '본인 전공 교과에 해당하는 고교시절 과학교사 만족도', '교직 동기', '나이' 등이 있으며, 학업만족도는 '나이', '성별', '내신 과학 전문교과 이수여부'의 영향을 크게 받는 것으로 드러났다. SHAP value를 활용하여 변인의 영향력을 밝힐 수 있었고, 그 결과가 집단 전체에 대한 것과 개별적 분석으로 각각 도출이 가능했고, 서로 보완적 결과가 도출이 가능함을 확인하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 과학교육과 재학생의 전공 및 학업 만족도를 지원하기 위한 방안을 제안하였다.

7학년 교과서의 확산현상 기술에 대한 분석과 과학교사들의 확산개념에 대한 이해도 조사 (Analysis of Description of Diffusion Phenomena in the 7th Grade Textbook and Diagnosis of Science Teachers' Understanding of the Diffusion Concepts)

  • 본 연구에서는 확산 현상에 대한 7학년 과학교과서의 기술을 분석하고, 중학교 과학 교사들의 확산 개념에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 데이터는 교과서 분석, 46명의 교사에 대한 설문 조사, 5명의 교사를 대상으로 한 면담을 통해 얻어졌다. 확산의 정의, 예시 및 모형에 대한 교과서 분석에 의하면 대부분의 표현들이 물속에서 잉크의 움직임을 관찰하기나 공기 중에서 향수냄새 맡기와 같이 거시적으로 설명되어 있었다. 또한 확산의 정의나 설명이 너무 축약적이어서 교사들이 물질과 매질의 충돌과 같은 미시적인 개념에 대한 추가 정보 없이는 개념을 이해하여 가르치기가 어려웠고, 확산 현상의 정의에서 농도차를 고려하고 있지 않았다. 설문조사와 면담 분석 결과 예시나 모형은 과학교사들로 하여금 용해, 분출 그리고 증발과 같은 개념과 혼동하도록 유도할 가능성이 있었다. 또한 교사들의 확산개념에 대한 이해도는 교과서에 매우 의존적이고 개념의 이해 수준 또한 교과서의 경향과 유사하였다.

Role of Dehydrocorybulbine in Neuropathic Pain After Spinal Cord Injury Mediated by P2X4 Receptor

  • Chronic neuropathic pain is one of the primary causes of disability subsequent to spinal cord injury. Patients experiencing neuropathic pain after spinal cord injury suffer from poor quality of life, so complementary therapy is seriously needed. Dehydrocorybulbine is an alkaloid extracted from Corydalis yanhusuo. It effectively alleviates neuropathic pain. In the present study, we explored the effect of dehydrocorybulbine on neuropathic pain after spinal cord injury and delineated its possible mechanism. Experiments were performed in rats to evaluate the contribution of dehydrocorybulbine to P2X4 signaling in the modulation of pain-related behaviors and the levels of pronociceptive interleukins and proteins after spinal cord injury. In a rat contusion injury model, we confirmed that chronic neuropathic pain is present on day 7 after spinal cord injury and P2X4R expression is exacerbated after spinal cord injury. We also found that administration of dehydrocorybulbine by tail vein injection relieved pain behaviors in rat contusion injury models without affecting motor functions. The elevation in the levels of pronociceptive interleukins ($IL-1{\beta}$, IL-18, MMP-9) after spinal cord injury was mitigated by dehydrocorybulbine. Dehydrocorybulbine significantly mitigated the upregulation of P2X4 receptor and reduced ATP-evoked intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ concentration. Both P2XR and dopamine receptor2 agonists antagonized dehydrocorybulbine's antinociceptive effects. In conclusion, we propose that dehydrocorybulbine produces antinociceptive effects in spinal cord injury models by inhibiting P2X4R.

Integration of Manufacture and Commerce for a Product Learning System in the Service Industry

  • Purpose - The purpose of this thesis is to assess the product design digital learning status of universities that are currently involved in learning environment projects in manufacture and commerce integration (MCI). Thus, enterprises must keep learning and creating new inventions with revolutionary progress. Research design, data, and methodology - This study not only emphasizes the analysis of technical ability, course concepts, conducting models, and learning environments of every aspect, but also systematically probes the planning of learning, system framework, web learning, environmental activities, data statistics, and digitalized learning, among other aspects. Results - The results of this study help in finally understanding each school's manufacture and commerce integration situation, in order to evaluate product design learning. Consequently, it is essential to evaluate computer learning at schools, thereby affecting communication and the requirements of business education training. Conclusions - It is essential to focus on MCI to promote web teaching to preserve and enhance knowledge disseminating technologies, and immediately share knowledge with learners, while improving work efficiency and cultivating the talent needed by industry.

Topic Extraction and Classification Method Based on Comment Sets

  • In recent years, emotional text classification is one of the essential research contents in the field of natural language processing. It has been widely used in the sentiment analysis of commodities like hotels, and other commentary corpus. This paper proposes an improved W-LDA (weighted latent Dirichlet allocation) topic model to improve the shortcomings of traditional LDA topic models. In the process of the topic of word sampling and its word distribution expectation calculation of the Gibbs of the W-LDA topic model. An average weighted value is adopted to avoid topic-related words from being submerged by high-frequency words, to improve the distinction of the topic. It further integrates the highest classification of the algorithm of support vector machine based on the extracted high-quality document-topic distribution and topic-word vectors. Finally, an efficient integration method is constructed for the analysis and extraction of emotional words, topic distribution calculations, and sentiment classification. Through tests on real teaching evaluation data and test set of public comment set, the results show that the method proposed in the paper has distinct advantages compared with other two typical algorithms in terms of subject differentiation, classification precision, and F1-measure.

유아영어 인지 능력 개발을 위한 모바일 AR 콘텐츠 개발 (Development of Mobile AR Contents for Infant English Cognitive Training)

  • 국제화로 인한 영어의 중요성과 필요성이 확대되고 있다. 이로 인해 다양하게 영어 교육이 이루어지고 있으며, 최근에는 몰입감과 흥미감을 위하여 증강현실 기술을 활용하고 있다. 본 콘텐츠는 유아 영어 인지 능력개발을 위한 모바일 AR 콘텐츠이다. 교구의 사물을 3D 모델로 모바일 폰에서 출력 가능하며, 간단한 일상회화를 들려줌으로 아이들에게 생활영어를 놀이처럼 익히게 한다. 그리고 게임을 좋아하는 아이들의 특성을 고려하여 각 사물에 영어게임을 추가한다. 또한 아이와 부모님들의 관심을 계속적으로 유지하기 위하여 각 단계별 게임의 이벤트를 다르게 표현하여 흥미도와 몰입감을 제공한다.

용해 현상에 대한 학생들의 개념유형 및 교사들의 지도 실태 (The Patterns of Students' Conceptions and Teachers' Teaching Practices on Dissolution)

  • 이 연구에서는 용해와 관련된 현상에 대해서 초등학교 학생에서부터 대학생에 이르기까지 학교급에 따라 학생들이 가지는 개념유형을 알아보고, 초${\cdot}$중등학교 교사들의 용해 현상에 대한 지도 실태를 알아보았다. 연구 결과, 초등학생 때 형성된 구멍 개념에 의한 용해 현상의 이해가 고등학생 때까지 유지되고 있었으며, 인력 개념에 의해 용해 현상을 학습하는 시기인 고등학교 2, 3학년과 대학생들은 인력 개념으로 용해 현상을 이해하는 비율이 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 그러나 용해 현상을 설명할 때는 초등학생에서부터 대학생에 이르기까지 많은 학생들이 인력 개념보다는 구멍 개념을 선호하는 것으로 나타났고, 개념의 이해와 설명에 커다란 차이를 나타냄으로써 학생들의 용해 현상에 대한 이해 정도가 전반적으로 낮음을 알 수 있었다. 교사들의 설문 응답 분석 결과, 초등학교 교사의 90% 정도가 소금이 물에 녹는 현상을 콩 사이로 좁쌀이 들어가는 것과 같은 현상으로 이해하고 있었으며, 실제 학생들에게 소금이 물에 녹는 현상을 콩 사이로 좁쌀이 들어가는 모형을 이용하여 지도한다고 응답하였다. 중등학교 교사들 역시 약 절반 정도는 용해 현상을 구멍 개념으로 이해하고 있었으며, 인력 개념으로 바르게 이해하고 있는 교사는 20% 정도에 지나지 않았다. 또한, 인력 개념으로 이해하고 있는 교사들도 실제 학생들을 지도할 때는 구멍 개념으로 설명하는 경우가 많아 교사들의 개념 이해와 지도에는 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다.
