미래 융합형 과학기술인재(STEAM)를 위한 미래학교 특성 탐색 (A Study on the Characteristics of Future Schools for Students with Future Convergent STEAM Talents)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 미래 융합형 과학기술인재가 갖추어야 할 역량을 도출하고 이러한 역량을 양성할 미래학교의 인재상, 교수 학습 방법, 평가방법, 교사들의 역량 및 양성방안을 탐색하는 데 있다. 미래학교의 모습을 도출하기 위해 현장교원, 과학기술 분야 대학생 등 관련 분야 종사자 25명이 참여하여 미래워크숍을 진행하였다. 연구결과에 따르면, 미래 융합형 과학기술인재들은 빠르게 변화하는 시대에 대처할 수 있는 유연한 사고, 기존의 방식이 아닌 새로운 방식으로 문제를 해결할 수 있는 창의적 사고를 지닌 인재가 될 것으로 기대된다. 다시 말해, 예상치 못한 상황을 받아들이고 그 상황에서 적절하게 문제를 해결해나가는 힘이 필요하다는 것이다. 따라서 이와 같은 인재를 양성하기 위해서는 미래학교의 모습 역시 유연하고 활동적으로 변화될 필요가 있다. 지식기반의 정보를 전달하는 경직된 학교에서는 유연하고 창의적인 인재를 길러낼 수 없기 때문이다. 미래학교는 학생들이 자연스럽게 여러 가지 상황에 직면하여 크고 작은 문제를 해결해나갈 수 있도록 활동 기반의 수업으로 변화해야 하며, 성취기준이 아닌 상황별로 학생들이 보인 결과를 정리하여 피드백 할 수 있는 평가시스템이 마련되어야 할 것이다. 또한, 교사 역시 다양한 경험을 가지고 지속적으로 교수역량을 개발해나가는 교사가 될 수 있도록 제도와 시스템을 개편해야 할 것이다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 미래 융합형 과학기술인재 교육 방안을 제안하였다.

Analysis of Extreme Sea Surface Temperature along the Western Coastal area of Chungnam: Current Status and Future Projections

  • Western coastal area of Chungnam, including Cheonsu Bay and Garorim Bay, has suffered from hot and cold extremes. In this study, the extreme sea surface temperature on the western coast of Chungnam was analyzed using the quantile regression method, which extracts the linear regression values in all quantiles. The regional MOHID (MOdelo HIDrodinâmico) model, with a high resolution on a 1/60° grid, was constructed to reproduce the extreme sea surface temperature. For future prediction, the SSP5-8.5 scenario data of the CMIP6 model were used to simulate sea surface temperature variability. Results showed that the extreme sea surface temperature of Cheonsu Bay in August 2017 was successfully simulated, and this extreme sea surface temperature had a significant negative correlation with the Pacific decadal variability index. As a result of future climate prediction, it was found that an average of 2.9℃ increased during the simulation period of 86 years in the Chungnam west coast and there was a seasonal difference (3.2℃ in summer, 2.4℃ in winter). These seasonal differences indicate an increase in the annual temperature range, suggesting that extreme events may occur more frequently in the future.

천문 교구를 활용한 HTE-STEAM 별자리 교육 프로그램 개발 연구 : 시공간 개념을 통한 미래 사회 핵심역량 함양을 중심으로 (Development of HTE-STEAM Constellation Education Program Using Astronomical Teaching Aid: Focused on Cultivating Core Competencies for Future Society through the Concept of Space and Time)

  • 세계적으로 역량중심 교육이 주목됨에 따라, 교육부는 2015 개정 교육과정에서 창의융합형 인재가 갖춰야 할 미래 사회 핵심역량 6가지를 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 2015 개정 교육과정에 제시된 미래 사회 핵심역량을 함양하고, 천문 영역 실험·실습의 한계를 보완하기 위해 HTE-STEAM 별자리 교육 프로그램을 개발하였고 그 효율성을 파일럿 테스트를 통해 확인하였다. 개발한 프로그램은 학교 밖 교육 현장인, 충청북도 청주시 소재의 G 도서관에서 초등 3~6학년 학생들을 대상으로 적용하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, HTE-STEAM 별자리 교육 프로그램은 STEAM 태도 검사의 '자아 개념'을 제외한 모든 구인에서 통계적으로 유의미한 효과를 보였으며, 특히 '이공계 진로선택', '배려', '소통'에서 높은 효과를 보였다. 따라서 미래 사회 핵심역량 중 '창의적 사고 역량'과 '의사소통 역량', '공동체 역량'의 함양에 긍정적인 결과를 도출하였다. 둘째, HTE-STEAM 별자리 교육 프로그램은 시공간이라는 어려운 개념을 다루었으나, 수업 내용의 난이도가 쉽다고 응답한 학생들이 많고, 배운 공간개념을 응용하여 교구를 활용한 것으로 보아, 학생들의 하늘과 우주의 공간 구조에 대한 이해에 효과적이었다. 덧붙여, 본 프로그램은 2022 개정 교육과정에서 추가된 하늘의 공간적 구조에 대한 성취기준을 충족하는 교육 프로그램으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 따라서 HTE-STEAM을 기반으로 한 별자리 교육 프로그램은 미래 사회 핵심 역량의 함양에 긍정적인 효과를 보였으며, 학교 환경에서 천문 영역의 야간 관측 실습을 보완하는 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

Lumpy skin disease as an emerging infectious disease

  • Lumpy skin disease (LSD) is one of the most important emerging transboundary diseases. Recently, LSD has emerged in many countries in the northern hemisphere. The LSD virus has a huge genome and is highly resistant to environmental conditions. The virus is also host-specific and large ruminants, such as cattle and domestic water buffalo, are particularly susceptible. In addition, wild ruminants can serve as potential reservoirs for spreading the LSD virus. The emergence might be related to climate change in various regions because LSD is an arthropod-borne infectious disease. This disease causes enormous economic losses, such as leather damage, decreased milk production, abortion, and death in infected ruminants. The economic importance of LSD in the bovine industry has forced countries to develop and implement control strategies against the disease. With the recent global spread and the economic impact, LSD will be discussed intensively. In addition, effective preventive measures are suggested based on the presence or absence of LSD outbreaks.

  • In this paper we discuss what Competitive Intelligence means, why it is growing in importance in the business world and how Library and Information Science Schools in the United States are responding to the opportunities presented by Competitive Intelligence. As a conclusion, we discuss some of the implications of our findings for Library and Information Science education in Korea.

  • Economic transformations have led to an increase in the role of creative assets and their central role in public life. Changes in creative activity have led to a change in the organization of the work of institutes engaged in the training of specialists, in particular teachers of labor education. Methods and approaches to training determine the development of creative industries, being the basis for models of professional training of future teachers of labor training. The purpose of an article was to develop a modern model of professional training of future teachers of labor training based on the concept of creative economy. The methodology is based on the concepts of holistic craft and creative economy. Based on the integration of pedagogical learning models "Craft as design and problem-solving", "Craft as skill and knowledge building", "Craft as product-making" and "Craft as self-expression" developed and experimentally confirmed the conceptual model of professional training of future teachers of labor training. The proposed model forms a practitioner with professional, technical, digital and creative skills who is able to transfer the experience to students. The training course "Creativity and creative thinking" has been developed. The model provided for the development of a course based on the strategy of developing professional creativity, flexibility, improvisation, openness, student activity, joint practice, student-oriented approach. The practical value implies the adaptation of the developed model of professional training of future teachers of labor education during the training of teachers in higher education, which is confirmed in the experiment.

수학교육학 연구에 관한 고찰 -과제와 방법을 중심으로 (A Study on Research in Mathematics Education as a Science -Its Tasks and Methods)

  • 본고의 목적은 $\ulcorner$수학교육학$\lrcorner$의 오늘날의 발전에 연결되는 과거와 현재를, 수학교육학에 관한 학술 잡지, 학위논문 및 연구 저서ㆍ논문 등을 통해서 뒤돌아봄으로써 앞으로의 $\ulcorner$수학교육학$\lrcorner$의 연구 과제와 방법을 전망하는데 초석으로 삼고자 한다. 우선, 학문으로서의 수학교육학은 수학교육을 대상으로 하는 기초적ㆍ과학적 연구의 체계이고, 그것은 1960년경에 구상되었고 현재로서는 성립하였다고 해도 좋은 상황에 있다는 것을 말한다. 계속해서, 수학교육학은 수학교육을 대상으로 하고 수학을 통해서 인간 형성을 추구한다는 목적을 갖는 이면성과 통합성과 같은 성격의 학문이라는 것을 확인한다. 그리고 연구의 축적과 발전에 따라 현재로서는 다양한 연구 영역이나 연구 방법이 있다는 것을 보인다. 마지막으로, 학제적 접근에 의해서 다루어야 할 수학교육학에 있어서의 몇 가지의 연구 과제를 시사한다.

The Role of Fundamentalization of Education in Improving the Future Specialists Professional Training with Usage of Multimedia Technologies

  • The article considers the fundamentalization of education in improving the future specialists professional training with usage of multimedia technologies by various scientists. Various points of view and approaches to defining the concepts of fundamentalization of education and multimedia technologies are identified. The concept of fundamentalization of professional training of a future specialist is based on the goals and functions of fundamentalization and - on the ways and means of achieving it, etc. Most authors agree only in their views that the fundamentalization of education is aimed at improving the quality of education and the education of the individual. Others involve the formation of a culture and worldview, increasing the creative and intellectual potential, forming the professional competence of a specialist and the potential for further education, and so on. The term multimedia refers to interactive systems that provide processing of moving and still video images, animated graphics, high-quality audio and speech. It is found out that professional training of a specialist by means of multimedia technologies includes not only the activities of the teacher and student, which form the learning process, but also the independent activity of the subject, self-development, assimilation of experience by the subject through analysis, comprehension and transformation of the field of activity in which he is included. It is revealed through the implementation of which approaches to the fundamentalization of higher professional education, it becomes possible to fully present theoretical training courses and effectively pass practical training by students, which contributes to improving the quality of training of future specialists in higher education institutions. Theoretical analysis of scientific views indicates a fairly serious attention of scientists to the problem of professional readiness of specialists and the possibility of higher educational institutions in preparing for it. At the same time, professional readiness is considered from different positions: as an active state of a person, which manifests itself in activity; as a result of activity; as goals of activity; as a quality that characterizes the attitude to solving professional problems and social situations; as a prerequisite for purposeful activity; as a form of activity of the subject; as an integral formation of personality; as a component of socio-professional culture; as a complex professionally significant neoplasm of the individual.
