PI-type Variable Structure Control with High Speed Reaching Mode (빠른 도달 속도를 가지는 PI형 가변구조 제어)

  • In this paper, we present the new PI-type VSC(variable structure control). In general, conventional VSCs with a discontinuous reaching law have a chattering problem, and with a PI-type reaching law have a slow reaching speed characteristic. To solve this problem, we propose the reaching law consists of a discontinuous and a PI-type reaching law to obtain a high speed reaching mode and a non-chattering characteristic at the same time. Simulation results show the effectiveness of a proposed scheme.

  • 계량서지학이 도서관 정보학 분야에 응용된 지 20년이 지난 지금, 이론 및 실무에 남긴 발전적 기여를 고찰함과 동시에, 컴퓨터를 비롯한 정보기술의 발달로 계량서지학의 가치와 중요성은 한층 더 폭넓게 인지되고 있다. 본 연구는 계량서지학의 개념 정리와 그 특성을 분석함으로써 다양한 이론적 근거 및 장$\cdot$단점을 파악하여 향후 연구방향 설정에 기초를 제시함을 그 목적으로 한다. 문헌구조를 분석하는 군집분석(cluster analysis), 동시인용분석(co-citation analysis), 인용문맥분석 (citation context analysis), 다차원축적기법(multidimensional scaling technique) 등에 대한 최근의 연구 동향 및 추이를 분석함으로써 도서관 실무 혹은 정보시스팀에 계량서지학의 실제 응용을 제시하였다. 아울러, 계량서지학의 3대법칙-Lotka's law, Brandford's law, Zipf's law-의 발달 단계, 상관관계 및 응용분야를 연구함으로써 전반적인 도서관 관리와 이론정보학의 연구방향을 설정하고 있다.

Prediction of MTBF Using the Modulated Power Law Process

  • The Non-homogeneous Poisson process is probably the most popular model since it can model systems that are deteriorating or improving. The renewal process is a model that is often used to describe the random occurrence of events in time. But both these models are based on too restrictive assumptions on the effect of the repair action. The Modulated Power Law Process is a suitable model for describing the failure pattern of repairable systems when both renewal-type behavior and time trend are present. In this paper we propose maximum likelihood estimation of the next failure time after the system has experienced some failures, that is, Mean Time Between Failure for the MPLP model.

  • 가스의 편리성, 저공해성, 열효율성 등으로 인해 가스의 사용량이 급격히 증가한 반면 가스의 위험성에 대한 관심부족으로 가스사고는 매년 증가하고 있다. 가스사고는 엄청난 인명피해 및 재산피해로 경제적 손실뿐만 아니라 심각한 사회적 불안요소로 인식하고 있다. 사고예방을 위해서는 가스사고 위험을 줄 수 있는 원천적인 사전대책이 제도적으로 철저히 마련되어야 한다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 가스관련법의 보험에 관한 법규의 개선을 통하여 가스사고에 대한 사전예방기능을 강화하는데 그 목적이 있다.

그래프에 의한 stable law분포의 모수추정

  • 본고에서는 그래프를 이용하여 stable law분포의 index, skewness, scale, location 모수들에 대한 추정방법을 제시한다. 먼저, order statistics의 함수인 tail length statistic $K_{t}$ , skewness statistic $K_{s}$ 를 이용하여 index .alpha., scale .betha.를 추정한다. 다음에는, 추정된 .alpha., .betha.를 index로 하여 개발된 그래프들로 부터 scale .sigma., location .mu.추정에 필요한 order statistics의 함수를 결정한다. 몇가지 예를 마지막에 예시한다.

  • There is no assurance that malware could only cause virtual damage to computer programs and data as its potential is endless. However, legal provisions were earlier developed to cater to either a physical damage caused by a physical action or a virtual damage caused by a virtual action. When crossovers occur, it becomes quite uncertain as to how viable the current laws are in handling this matter. The author seeks to address the issue from the perspective of the laws of Malaysia.

A Raid-Type War-Game Model Based on a Discrete Multi-Weapon Lanchester's Law

  • We propose a war-game model that is appropriate for a raid-type warfare in which, a priori, the maneuver of the attacker is relatively certain. The model is based on a multi-weapon extention of the Lanchester's law. Instead of a continuous time dynamic game with the differential equations from the Lanchester's law, however, we adopt a multi-period model relying on a time-discretization of the Lanchester's law. Despite the obvious limitation that two players make a move only on the discrete time epochs, the pragmatic model has a manifold justification. The existence of an equilibrium is readily established by its equivalence to a finite zero-sum game, the existence of whose equilibrium is, in turn, well-known to be no other than the LP-duality. It implies then that the war-game model dictates optimal strategies for both players under the assumption that any strategy choice of each player will be responded by a best strategy of her opponent. The model, therefore, provides a sound ground for finding an efficient reinforcement of a defense system that guarantees peaceful equilibria.

  • Let {X, $X_{i};\;i{\geq}1$} be a sequence of independent and identically distributed positive random variables. Denote $S_n= \sum\array\\_{i=1}^nX_i$ and $S\array\\_n^{(k)}=S_n-X_k$ for n ${\geq}$1, $1{\leq}k{\leq}n$. Under the assumption of the finiteness of the second moments, we derive a type of the law of the iterated logarithm for $S\array\\_n^{(k)}$ and the limit point set for its certain normalization.

  • Keeping in step with four seasons, Spring, summer, autumn, and winter, the heaven and earth(天地) has been born(生), grown(長), coverted(化), gained(收), and kept(藏) by interaction of yiyang and yuqi(五氣: 木火土金水). And according to Naiching, human being is born with energy of heaven and earth(天地之氣) and is grown with the law of four seasons(四時之法). So, we now know that the human's body and nature interact each other. The oriental medical science has been studied the effect that the nature's change influences on human body. Now, I get some idea that using herb medicine and acupuncture should have hanged following the change of four seasons. We know that there is a cycle in nature. Every day sun arise and down, and every month moon gets full and new. And every year, four seasons orderly change, from spring to winter. All of this is the law of nature and human body adapts this law. Man always shows the physiological phenomena which changes under the law of nature, especially the turning of the seasons. Therefore, we should use different medical methods in different seasons.
