Design of OpenScenario Structure for Content Creation Service Based on User Defined Story (사용자 정의 스토리 기반 콘텐츠 제작 서비스를 위한 오픈 시나리오 언어 구조 설계)

  • It is a story-based content creation service that provides any user with some proper contents based on a story written by the user in order to utilize a lot of contents accumulated on Internet. For this service, the story has to be described in computer-readable representation. In this paper, analyzing the structure of scenario, as known as screenplay or scripts, a structure of story representation, which is referred to as OpenScenario, is defined. We intend users to produce their own contents by using massive contents on Internet by the proposed method. The proposed method's OpenScenario consists two main parts, OSD (OpenScenario Descriptors) which is a set of descriptors to describe various objects of shots such as visual, aural and textual objects and OSS (OpenScenario Scripts) which is a set of scripts to add some effects such as image, caption, transition between shots, and background music. As an usecase of proposed method, we describe how to create new content using OpenScenario and discuss some required technologies to apply the proposed method effectively.

  • The solution of the environment problem is the common issue all over the world, for this reason the necessity of the environmental education of school has emphasized. On this a variety method for environmental education is needed, this paper planned and applied the 'ecology & environment' for high school which are based on GBS theory and presented a new model of environment education. GBS(Goal-Based Scenario) is that learners are presented with an end goal that is motivating and challenging. This goal is structured such that, in order to successfully meet it learners are required to build a predetermined core set of skills and knowledge by process mission and scenario. GBS is an active learning environment in which learners are trained in study that have a real-world context. When they are back in real-world they have increased ability to apply what was learned by reflecting on the GBS learning experience. This study was designed on GBS theory and taught a class by using internet Blog. As a result, when carefully reviewing the materials such as final presentation reflect journal, we conclude that the students' awareness of a learning environment is improved and the students seems to try to apply the learning outcome to a real life.

  • The new industry drone research is increasing through convergence between 4th industrial revolution technology. In particular, the government indicates the D.N.A platform as a countermeasure of 4th industrial revolution. So, the research topics are remarkable which are using D.N.A platform. On the other hand, the drone for industrial and research has spatial factor based on sequential because, they performance scenario-based mission through control operation. When the drone flights as a control operation, they have necessity apply multi-dimensional methods to improve the security level. So, this study researched a scenario based drone platform to improve the security level. As a result, the space classified as a ground control system, drone, drone data server and designed the application method based on scenario security technology.

  • In this letter, we propose blackbox and scenario-based testing of multiplayer online games as well as simple load testing. Game testing is done from outside the source code, and the access to the source code is not required to testers because the game logic is described with a game description language and virtual game map. Instead of using a subset of the main game client for the test client, only game packet protocols and the sequence of packets are analyzed for new game testing. In addition, complex and various scenarios can be tested through combining defined actions. Scenario-based testing helps testers mimic real testing environments instead of doing simple load testing and improves the productivity of game testing.

  • Web application security education that can provide practical experience is needed to reduce damage caused by the recent increase in web application vulnerabilities and to strengthen security. In this paper, we proposed a scenario-based web application education method, applied the proposed method to classes, and analyzed the results. In order to increase the effectiveness of scenario-based education, a real-life practice environment to perform scenarios and instructions to be performed by learners are needed. As an example of the proposed method, instructions to be performed by learners from the viewpoint of the attacker and the victim were shown in a practice environment to teach XSS and SQL injection vulnerabilities. After applying the proposed method to the class for students majoring in cyber security, when the lecture evaluation results were analyzed, it was shown that the learner's interest, understanding, and major ability all improved.

  • This paper suggests an event-based scenario manager capable of creating and editing a scenario for shipbuilding process simulation based on multibody dynamics. To configure various situation in shipyards and easily connect with multibody dynamics, the proposed method has two main concepts: an Actor and an Action List. The Actor represents the anatomic unit of action in the multibody dynamics and can be connected to a specific component of the dynamics kernel such as the body and joint. The user can make a scenario up by combining the actors. The Action List contains information for arranging and executing the actors. Since the shipbuilding process is a kind of event-based sequence, all simulation models were configured using Discrete EVent System Specification (DEVS) formalism. The proposed method was applied to simulations of various operations in shipyards such as lifting and erection of a block and heavy load lifting operation using multiple cranes.

  • The Material Transportation Capability Analysis Method in North Korea includes adversary's activities such as destruction of bridge which is one kind of choke points in the road network and surprise attack against resupply march unit. Also, the amount of damage on choke points in the road network and repair time depending on repair unit commitment must be reflected. In this study, a scenario encompassing plausible resupply transportation circumstances while counterattacking into NK will be established. Then, based on such scenario, a simulation model will be established and the result of simulation will be compared to the results of numeric example which has been used in the ROK Army. We demonstrate, through a certain Corps operation area, that the Scenario-based Simulation Model results predict the performance of resupply operation very well. Therefore, it makes sustainment planners and commanders do activities which is suitable for battlefield and should be used in the real situation. It is also a stochastic model.

Forecasting Demand of Childcare Teachers using Time Series Analysis (시계열 분석을 통한 보육교사 수급 전망)

  • The purpose of this study was to forecast demand of childcare teachers based ion four different scenarios. In order to, the demand for childcare teachers from 2015 to 2024 were forecasted using time series techniques with data on the number of childcare teachers from 2003 to 2014. Results were as followings. Firstly, the demand for childcare teachers was expected to increase until 2019, but after 2020 steadily decreased in terms of scenario 1(child teacher ratio regulation). According to scenario 2(child teacher ratio based on 17 cities and provinces), the demand for childcare teachers was expected to need 440 teachers more until 2016. Then, according to scenario 3(two teachers each class), Scenario 4-1(one teacher and one staff each 2 toddler class and 3 older class) and scenario 4-2(one teacher and one staff each class), the demand of childcare teachers and staffs were estimated. These results implicated that childcare teachers and staffs supply policy would be established according to forecast demand.

  • This paper elaborates the significance of scenario planning in risk management, and presents an integrated approach which takes into account the 'Risk Events' derived from scenario planning for risk prioritisation. This research integrates scenario planning with Risk Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (RFMEA) through examples from construction litigations of project schedule and cost overrun cases as a simplified approach to project risk management. The proposed methodology incorporates scenarios developed from realistic events of dispute and arbitration cases from construction projects, and thereby increasing potential to foresee risks and their effects well in advance. The results from this methodology shall be validated against outcome of survey study conducted by KPMG-PMI (2013) on project schedule and cost overruns that was based on Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) Project Monitoring data for 2012-13.
