  • Due to the poor evaluation indexes such as detection accuracy and recall rate when Yolov3 network detects aircraft in remote sensing images, in this paper, we propose a remote sensing image aircraft detection method based on machine vision. In order to improve the target detection effect, the Inception module was introduced into the Yolov3 network structure, and then the data set was cluster analyzed using the k-means algorithm. In order to obtain the best aircraft detection model, on the basis of our proposed method, we adjusted the network parameters in the pre-training model and improved the resolution of the input image. Finally, our method adopted multi-scale training model. In this paper, we used remote sensing aircraft dataset of RSOD-Dataset to do experiments, and finally proved that our method improved some evaluation indicators. The experiment of this paper proves that our method also has good detection and recognition ability in other ground objects.

  • Aiming at the problem that the gradient-based edge detection operators are sensitive to the noise, causing the pseudo edges, a triqubit-state measurement-based edge detection algorithm is presented in this paper. Combing the image local and global structure information, the triqubit superposition states are used to represent the pixel features, so as to locate the image edge. Our algorithm consists of three steps. Firstly, the improved partial differential method is used to smooth the defect image. Secondly, the triqubit-state is characterized by three elements of the pixel saliency, edge statistical characteristics and gray scale contrast to achieve the defect image from the gray space to the quantum space mapping. Thirdly, the edge image is outputted according to the quantum measurement, local gradient maximization and neighborhood chain code searching. Compared with other methods, the simulation experiments indicate that our algorithm has less pseudo edges and higher edge detection accuracy.

  • Nowadays, research in deep learning leveraged automated computing and networking paradigm evidenced rapid contributions in terms of Software Defined Networking (SDN) and its diverse security applications while handling cybercrimes. SDN plays a vital role in sniffing information related to network usage in large-scale data centers that simultaneously support an improved algorithm design for automated detection of network intrusions. Despite its security protocols, SDN is considered contradictory towards DDoS attacks (Distributed Denial of Service). Several research studies developed machine learning-based network intrusion detection systems addressing detection and mitigation of DDoS attacks in SDN-based networks due to dynamic changes in various features and behavioral patterns. Addressing this problem, this research study focuses on effectively designing a multistage hybrid and intelligent deep learning classifier based on modified deep forest classification to detect DDoS attacks in SDN networks. Experimental results depict that the performance accuracy of the proposed classifier is improved when evaluated with standard parameters.

  • In this paper we propose a new algorithm for detecting and counting flowers in a complex background based on digital images. The algorithm mainly includes the following parts: edge contour extraction of flowers, edge contour determination of overlapped flowers and flower counting. We use a contour detection technique in Computer Vision (CV) to extract the edge contours of flowers and propose an improved algorithm with a concave point detection technique to find accurate segmentation for overlapped flowers. In this process, we first use the polygon approximation to smooth edge contours and then adopt the second-order central moments to fit ellipse contours to determine whether edge contours overlap. To obtain accurate segmentation points, we calculate the curvature of each pixel point on the edge contours with an improved Curvature Scale Space (CSS) corner detector. Finally, we successively give three adaptive judgment criteria to detect and count flowers accurately and automatically. Both experimental results and the proposed evaluation indicators reveal that the proposed algorithm is more efficient for flower counting.

  • Fall detection and prevention technologies play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of individuals, particularly those living independently, where falls can result in severe consequences. This paper addresses the challenge of accurate and quick fall detection by proposing a Bayesian probability-based measure applied to surface electromyography (sEMG) signals. The proposed algorithm based on a Bayesian filter that divides the sEMG signal into transient and steady states. The ratio of posterior probabilities, considering the inclusion or exclusion of the transient state, serves as a scale to gauge the dominance of the transient state in the current signal. Experimental results demonstrate that this approach enhances the accuracy and expedites the detection time compared to existing methods. The study suggests broader applications beyond fall detection, anticipating future research in diverse human-robot interface benefiting from the proposed methodology.

  • This paper introduces a implementation of fault detection for national highway line 3. Fault detection system was installed and operated on national highway line 3, environmental elements caused by abnormal status or faults has often happened. Therefore, the function of fault detection system is to speedy notify fault site, cause as well as scale of fault to manager. Though the fault detection and diagnosis system has been imported in the field of process of water and electric power, it is just beginning step in the field of ITS(Intelligent Transportation Systems). In general, Maintenance system is performed the online/offline process of detection, diagnosis and measure. This paper is studied online detection process, which is realtime remote detection.

  • Recently the need for advanced security technologies are increasing as the occurrence of intelligent crime is growing fastly. Previous liveness detection and fake face detection methods are required for the improvement of accuracy in order to be put to practical use. In this paper, we propose a new liveness detection method using pupil reflection, and new fake image detection using Adaboost detector. The proposed system detects eyes based on multi-scale Gabor feature vector in the first stage, The template matching plays a role in determining the allowed eye area. And then, the reflected image in the pupil is used to decide whether or not the captured image is live or not. Experimental results indicate that the proposed method is superior to the previous methods in the detection accuracy of fake images.

  • Human faces are commonly found in a video such as a drama and provide useful information for video content analysis. Therefore, face detection plays an important role in applications such as face recognition, and face image database management. In this paper, we propose a face detection algorithm based on pre-processing of scene change detection for indexing and cast searching in video. The proposed algorithm consists of three stages: scene change detection stage, face region detection stage, and eyes and mouth detection stage. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can detect faces successfully over a wide range of facial variations in scale, rotation, pose, and position, and the performance is improved by $24\%$with profile images comparing with conventional methods using color components.

  • This paper presents a novel approach to face detection by localizing faces as the goal-specific saliencies in a scene, using the framework of selective visual attention of a human with a particular goal in mind. The proposed approach aims at achieving human-like robustness as well as efficiency in face detection under large scene variations. The key is to establish how the specific knowledge relevant to the goal interacts with the bottom-up process of external visual stimuli for saliency detection. We propose a direct incorporation of the goal-related knowledge into the specification and/or modification of the internal process of a general bottom-up saliency detection framework. More specifically, prior knowledge of the human face, such as its size, skin color, and shape, is directly set to the window size and color signature for computing the center of difference, as well as to modify the importance weight, as a means of transforming into a goal-specific saliency detection. The experimental evaluation shows that the proposed method reaches a detection rate of 93.4% with a false positive rate of 7.1%, indicating the robustness against a wide variation of scale and rotation.

  • Human-object interaction(HOI) detection requires both object detection and interaction recognition, and requires a large amount of data to learn a detection model. Current opened dataset is insufficient in scale for training model enough. In this paper, we propose an easy and effective data augmentation method called Simple Quattro Augmentation(SQA) and Random Quattro Augmentation(RQA) for human-object interaction detection. We show that our proposed method can be easily integrated into State-of-the-Art HOI detection models with HICO-DET dataset.
