청소년의 자아존중감과 환경특성이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 : 긍정적 자아평가와 부정적 자아평가의 조절효과 (An Influence of Adolescent's Self-Esteem and Environmental Characteristics on Life Satisfaction : Moderating Effect of Positive Self-Evaluation and Negative Self-Evaluation)

  • 본 연구는 한국청소년정책연구원에서 제공하는 한국아동 청소년 패널조사(Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey) 3차년도(2012) 자료를 이용하여, 중학교 3학년 2,040명의 자아존중감과 환경변수들이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 개인특성으로서 자아존중감을 긍정적 자아와 부정적 자아에 대한 평가라는 별개의 두 차원으로 구분하였을 때, 환경특성이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대한 두 평가수준의 조절효과가 존재하였다. 자아존중감을 두 평가차원의 수준에 따라 4개의 집단으로 구분하여 환경특성(부모, 친구, 학교)이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대한 경로분석을 수행한 결과, 긍정적 자아에 대한 평가가 높은 집단들은 그렇지 않은 집단에 비해 더 많은 경로에서 유기적인 관련성을 보였다. 또한 부정적 자아에 대한 평가가 높은 집단의 경우, 긍정적 자아에 대한 평가가 높을 때 부정적 자아가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 음(-)의 영향을 상쇄하였다. 이러한 결과는 청소년의 자아존중감을 단일 차원의 개념이 아닌, 긍정적 자아와 부정적 자아에 대한 평가라는 두 차원으로 구분하여 분석할 필요성을 제시한다. 부정적 자아에 대한 낮은 평가가 반드시 긍정적 자아에 대한 높은 평가를 의미하는 것은 아니기 때문에, 청소년 심리 상담에 있어 부정적 자아 형성의 문제 해결과 함께 긍정적 자아 형성을 위한 방안이 모색되어야 한다는 것을 시사한다.

지방도시의 도심지역에 있어서 시환경 만족도 평가 및 요인추출에 관한 연구 - 제주도 노형 일대를 중심으로- (A Study on Extraction of Factors and Evaluation of Satisfaction on the Visual Environment of an Urbanized Area in a Local City - Focused on Nohyung Area, Jeju-Do -)

  • This study aims to evaluate the residential exterior environment and ascertain the factors having an effect on the visual environment viewed through the living room window. This study is based on a questionnaire on the exterior environment targeting residents living in the area of Nohyunng in Jeju city, Jeju-do. The results are as follows. First, residents are satisfied with the exterior environment as a whole; however, the longer-term residents' level of satisfaction is found to be relatively low while dissatisfaction is high. Additionally, there is a difference in satisfaction and dissatisfaction levels between the residents in their own housing and those in rental housing. The residents living in rental housing were found to have a relatively low level of satisfaction and high dissatisfaction. Second, in the case where the living room window faces roads, low satisfaction and high dissatisfaction levels with the visual environment were found, where the living room is on the first or second floor. Third, satisfaction and dissatisfaction with the exterior environment have a close correlation to the impression or nature elements of 26 questions but they show low correlation in size, height, color, design, traffic, artifact elements. Finally, as a result of extracting the factors influencing satisfaction and dissatisfaction with the visual environment, four factors were extracted including "Impression & Nature factor", "Building factor", "Design factor", and "Traffic volume & Artifacts factor". "Impression & Nature factors" is the most influencing factor with satisfaction and dissatisfaction and "Traffic volume & Artifacts factor" was found to have an effect on satisfaction, but not as clearly on dissatisfaction.

맞벌이 부부의 가사분담이 남편과 부인의 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Division of Household Labor on the Marital Satisfaction of the Husbands and Wives in Dual-Earner Families)

  • This study examined the effects of the division of household labor on the marital satisfaction of husbands and wives in dual-earner families. Data were collected from 193 couples in dual-earner families; the questionnaire measurements were based on recommendations from the literature review. The questionnaire consisted of inquiries concerning gender role attitudes, marital communication efficiency, division of household labor, satisfaction in the division of household labor, and marital satisfaction. Each of these categories had an individual measurement scale that enabled measurement of its impact on marital satisfaction. The major findings of this study are as follows: The couples in dual-earner families showed egalitarian gender role attitudes and high levels of marital communication efficiency. They also reported high levels of satisfaction with their division of household labor and their marital lives. Wives in dual-earner families had more egalitarian gender role attitudes compared with their husbands, and husbands perceived themselves to be investing more time in performing household chores (that is, in the division of household labor) than was perceived by their wives. Husbands were also more satisfied with the division of household labor and marital life compared to their wives. Finally, hierarchical multiple regression analysis revealed that satisfaction in the division of household labor and in marital communication efficiency (as perceived by the couples) significantly predicted husbands' marital satisfaction. On the other hand, wives' age, marital communication efficiency, and the differences in the division of household labor (as perceived by the couples) significantly predicted wives' marital satisfaction.

The Impact of Job Stress and Job Satisfaction on Workforce Productivity in an Iranian Petrochemical Industry

  • Background: Job stress and job satisfaction are important factors affecting workforce productivity. This study was carried out to investigate the job stress, job satisfaction, and workforce productivity levels, to examine the effects of job stress and job satisfaction on workforce productivity, and to identify factors associated with productivity decrement among employees of an Iranian petrochemical industry. Methods: In this study, 125 randomly selected employees of an Iranian petrochemical company participated. The data were collected using the demographic questionnaire, Osipow occupational stress questionnaire to investigate the level of job stress, Job Descriptive Index to examine job satisfaction, and Hersey and Goldsmith questionnaire to investigate productivity in the study population. Results: The levels of employees' perceived job stress and job satisfaction were moderate-high and moderate, respectively. Also, their productivity was evaluated as moderate. Although the relationship between job stress and productivity indices was not statistically significant, the positive correlation between job satisfaction and productivity indices was statistically significant. The regression modeling demonstrated that productivity was significantly associated with shift schedule, the second and the third dimensions of job stress (role insufficiency and role ambiguity), and the second dimension of job satisfaction (supervision). Conclusion: Corrective measures are necessary to improve the shift work system. "Role insufficiency" and "role ambiguity" should be improved and supervisor support must be increased to reduce job stress and increase job satisfaction and productivity.

단체급식소 영양사의 종합적품질경영(TQM) 수행과 직무만족도에 관한 연구 (TQM Performance and Job Satisfaction of Dietitians in Institutional Foodservices)

  • This study was designed to investigate the correlation between perceived TQM performance and job satisfaction of dietitians. The objective of the study is to help the management of foodservice by providing a direction which will elevate perceived TQM performance of dietitians and presenting plans which will ensure effective foodservice management. The survey sample was dietitians (n = 308) who were charged with foodservice management. The questionnaires requested information about demographics self-perception of TQM importance and performance levels, and Job satisfaction. According to the TQM importance and performance analysis, the level of performance was typically high in TQM items recognized as important by dietitians and low in areas where the recognized level of importance was low. Analysis was conducted on the job satisfaction according to demographic characteristics. The level of satisfaction in terms of salary and promotion increased relatively for those working in the industries and those who were older, married, and full-time employees with longer careers. The lesser the number of working hours, the higher their satisfaction levels were. Canonical correlation analysis between TQM performance and job satisfaction indicated higher canonical correlation (canonical correlations coefficient: 0.59). In conclusion, TQM performance-job satisfaction showed higher canonical correlation. When information exchange via network is made possible and more external customer recognition is gained, it increases the level of job satisfaction. The above results suggest that further research on the scope of TQM performance is thoroughly needed and continual training is necessary for foodservice managers.

해양원격의료의 서비스 특성이 선원만족도 및 충성도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Service Characteristics of Maritime Telemedicine on Seafarer's Satisfaction and Loyalty)

  • 본 연구는 해양원격의료의 서비스 특성(서비스 질, 서비스의 인지 여부, 건강 상담 서비스의 경험 여부)이 선원만족도에 얼마나 영향을 미치는지 분석하고, 또한, 선원만족도가 충성도에 얼마나 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 이를 위해, 해양원격의료 시범사업에서 수행했던 2017년도 서비스 대상자 설문조사에서 수집된 데이터를 활용하였다. 다만, 본 연구에서는 해양원격의료 중 화상원격(Tele-Monitering) 서비스를 받은 선원 103명을 연구의 대상으로 실증 분석을 하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다.ⅰ) 서비스 질이 높을수록 만족도는 높았다, ⅱ) 만족도가 높을수록 충성도는 높았다, ⅲ) 30세 미만보다 50세 미만의 선원들이 만족도가 낮았다. ⅳ) 총 승선경력에서, 5년 이상에서 10년 미만인 선원이 5년 미만인 선원보다 만족도가 높았다, ⅴ) 10년 이상에서 15년 미만인 선원이 5년 미만인 선원보다 만족도가 높았다, ⅵ) 15년 이상에서 20년 미만인 선원이 5년 미만인 선원보다 만족도가 높았다, ⅶ) 또한, 20년 초과인 선원이 5년 미만인 선원보다 만족도가 높았다. 결론적으로,ⅰ) 해양원격의료 서비스 질이 높을수록 만족도는 높았고, 만족도가 높을수록 충성도는 높았다. 따라서 서비스 질의 향상은 만족도 및 충성도를 높이는데 중요한 요소일 뿐만 아니라, 해양원격의료에 대한 긍정적인 이미지 형성에 중요한 역할을 한다고 하겠다. ⅱ) 나이가 젊고, 대체적으로 총 승선경력이 낮은 선원이 만족도가 높았다. 이는 원격의료에 대한 이용 의사가 있고, 다른 사람에게 추천할 의도가 있는 선원은 젊은 층이라고 사료 된다.

혁신도시 이전 공공기관 종사자의 여가활동 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석 -광주·전남 공동혁신도시를 중심으로- (Empirical Leisure Environment Satisfaction Evaluation of Public Institution Employees in Innocity)

  • 본 연구는 혁신도시 여가환경 개선이 혁신도시의 발전과 성장에 기여한다는 측면에서, 혁신도시 여가활동 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고 이를 통해 정책적 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 43개 여가활동을 선정하고 이를 대상으로 혁신도시로의 이주 전 중요도와 이주 후 만족도를 비교분석하였다. 이주 전 중요도에 비해 이주 후 만족도가 더 높은 여가활동은 문학행사 참여 등 13개 여가활동으로 조사되었다. 나머지 30개 여가활동은 중요도에 비해 만족도가 낮은 것으로 조사되었다. IPA분석결과, 문화예술관람활동과 사회 및 기타여가활동이 중요도는 높으나 만족도가 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 전반적인 만족도(3개 문항)를 종속변수로 하여 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 여가활동 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 도출하였다. 전반적으로 정적인 여가활동들은 만족도에 유의한 반면, 동적인 여가활동들은 만족도에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 분석되었다. 향후 혁신도시 여가활동 만족도를 높이기 위하여 동적여가활동이 가능한 문화시설용지의 조속한 개발, 스포츠참여활동이 가능하기 위한 운동시설 확충, 주변 관광지와의 네트워크 강화를 통한 관광활동 활성화 등의 정책적 제안을 하였다.

소셜네트워크서비스 특성이 이용자 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting the Characteristics of SNS on User Satisfaction and Intention)

  • The identified research result can be outlined more specifically as follows: first, informativeness of SNS was giving positive impact to some degree on the user satisfaction; second, connectivity of SNS was giving very positive impact on the user satisfaction; third, accessibility was giving very positive impact on the user satisfaction; forth, usability of SNS was giving very positive impact on the user satisfaction; fifth, amusement of SNS was giving very positive impact on the user satisfaction; the satisfaction level of SNS users gave positive impact on the further intention of SNS users. It was identified, however, that interactiveness of SNS was the factor that did not give much impact on the user satisfaction. This result comes from the analysis that SNS is convenient to actively explore and get further information that users wish to find, while they are insufficient in function to provide the information other users require or exchange information among users through the SNS.

The Effect of College Counselors' Authentic Leadership and Ethical Leadership on Students' School Satisfaction

  • Teachers play a key role in influencing students' school lives, but many researchers have tried to improve school satisfaction in various aspects. And counselors are a special type of Chinese university teachers, and not only have the characteristics of university teachers, but also have daily administrative management functions related to students' school life. In this paper, we demonstrated the effect of college counselors' ethical leadership and authentic leadership on school satisfaction among Chinese university students. In addition, it also verified the mediating effect of organizational identification in this process. As a result of empirical analysis, ethical leadership have both positive effect on organizational identification and school satisfaction. Similarly, authentic leadership also have positive impact on organizational identity and school satisfaction. In addition, organizational Identification has a positive effect on school satisfaction. Furthermore, organizational identification has also been proven to mediate the relationship between both two types of leadership and school satisfaction. Finally, we found that authentic leadership was more influential than ethical leadership in increasing school satisfaction levels.

한부모 가정의 청소년이 지각한 부모양육태도 및 정서적 문제가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Perceived Parenting Attitudes and Emotional Problems on Life Satisfaction among Adolescents in Single Parent Families)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose measure for the effects of perceived parenting attitudes and emotional problems on life satisfaction among adolescents in single parent families with the parent resource perspective. The study consisted of 230 first grade middle school students from single parent (living with either mother or father only) families in the 4th year panel (2013) of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS), National Youth Policy Institute (NYPI). All statistical data analyses were performed using SPSS version 21.0. The findings of this study are as follows. First, lower levels of depression and aggression were found among adolescents who perceived parenting attitude as more affectionate. On the contrary, higher levels of depression and aggression were detected among adolescents who perceived parenting attitude as more intrusiveness. The more the inconsistent parenting practices perceived by adolescents, the higher the degree of depression. Second, a higher level of life satisfaction was found among adolescent who were more likely to perceive positive parenting attitudes including monitoring, affection and reasoning. However, there was no significant correlation between negative parenting behavior and life satisfaction. Third, a lower level of life satisfaction was observed among adolescent who were more likely to perceive emotional problems such as depression, aggression and social withdrawal. Fourth, according to the analysis on the effects of parenting attitudes and emotional problems on life satisfaction, affection parenting of all positive parenting styles and depression among emotional problems had an impact on life satisfaction. The more affectionate a parent is with his/her children in parenting, the lower the degree of depression in adolescents, and the lower degree of depression in adolescents, the higher degree of life satisfaction was found among adolescents from single parent households.
