  • A general bentonite mate waterproofing material applied salt pollution without particular way(it is a land reclaimed from a sea(or near by sea). Analysis showed that it(general bentonite mate) has a little resistant salt pollution and a little watertightness. There are a lot of problem before completed structure because of salt pollution. So that, they have to a sum of money to repair works. Also, to repaired a part leak water again and again. because it doesn't match for salt pollution. So, I am going to study about a bentonite mate waterproofing material in salt pollution and it will be within the range of possibility to underground structure under the salt pollution. Also, I suggest waterproofing method in salt pollution about workability, stability, economy and etc.

  • Faults due to salt damage prevent the provision of stable power supply because they affect large areas and require much time and man power for recovery. Korea, three sides of which are surrounded by sea, is especially exposed to the impact of sea winds and typhoons. Therefore, salt damage to power facilities is one of the greatest problems of Korea's power system. To prevent salt damage pollution of insulators, the salt damage deposit on the insulators is regularly measured, and the insulators are washed when their salt damage deposits are expected to reach a critical level. When salt is detected on the insulators, however, errors are likely to occur according to different workers and environments. Therefore, a leakage current measurement method was proposed in this study to check the salt damage pollution level and reduce these errors.

회귀분석을 활용한 옥외 절연물의 오손도 예측 (A Prediction on the Pollution Level of Outdoor Insulator with Regression Analysis)

  • The degree of contamination on outdoor insulator is ons of the most importance factor to determine the pollution level of outdoor insulation, and the sea salt is known as the most dangerous pollutant. As shown through the preceding study, the generation of salt pollutant and the pollution degree of outdoor insulator have a close relation with meteorological conditions, such as wind velocity, wind direction, precipitation and so fourth. So, in this paper, we made an investigation on the prediction method, a statistical estimation technique for equivalent salt deposit density of outdoor insulator with multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of the analysis, we proved the superiority of the prediction method in which the variables had a very close(about 0.9) correlation coefficient. And the results could be applied to establish the Pollution Prediction System for power utilities, and the system could provide an invaluable information for the design and maintenance of outdoor insulation system.

옥외 절연물의 오손도 예측 기법 및 프로그램 개발 (Development of an Expert Technique and Program to Predict the Pollution of Outdoor Insulators)

  • Recently, with the rapid growth of industry, environmental condition became worse. In addition to outdoor insulators in seashore are polluted due to salty wind. Also this pollution causes the flashover and failure of electric equipments. Especially the salt contaminant is one of the most representative pollutants, and known as the main source of the accident by contamination. As well known, the pollution has a close relation with meteorological factors such as wind velocity, wind direction, temperature, relative humidity, precipitation and so on. In this paper we have statistically analyzed the correlation between the pollution and the meteorological factors. The multiple regression analysis was used for the statistical analysis; daily measured equivalent salt deposit density(dependent variable) and the weather condition data(independent variable) were used. Also we have developed an expert program to predict the pollution deposit. A new prediction system using this program called SPPP(salt pollution prediction program) has been used to model accurately the relationship between ESDD with the meteorological factors.

  • Surface electrical conduction in insulator is most important factor to assess the insulation performances of outdoor insulating materials. In this paper, contamination performance of the widely used materials for outdoor insulator - porcelain, EPDM, Silicone rubber - were discussed by measuring properties of average leakage current and scintillation discharge pulses under artificial contamination conditions. The artificial contaminations used were deionized distilled water fog, 0.5wt% NaCl salt fog of light pollution and 2wt% NaCl salt fog of medium pollution. The average leakage current was appeared linearly with applied voltage at dry and clean surface condition. The magnitude of leakage current was almost same at different kinds of samples. In case of deionized distilled water fog, the characteristics of leakage current and applied voltage was most different to that in case of dry and clean condition. In case of salt fog pollution condition, The leakage current was increased above critical voltage. The scintillation discharges were also activated at the level. the leakage current and scintillation discharges were increased with increasing pollution degree. The resistance to pollution properties of silicone rubber appeared excellent among them.

So, in this paper, we have made database using the past meteorological data and ESDD(equivalent salt deposit density) and then we predicted the pollution degree in the future after analyzing currently meteorological data of database.

터널 애자류 오염도 분석과 세정주기 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Selection of Cleaning Period and Pollution Analysis of Insulators in Tunnel)

  • 본 연구는 터널구간 내 설치된 각종 애자류의 오염도를 평가하여 각 터널구간마다 세정주기를 마련하기 위해 연구를 수행하였다. 세정주기는 전국의 각 지역을 대상으로 공해, 산업단지, 염해지역을 샘플링하여 애자류에 부착된 오염도에 의해 평가되었다. 그 결과, 오염물의 증가에 의해 포집량과 도전율은 증가하였고, 각 터널마다 그 값은 서로 다르게 나타났다. 특히, 공해 및 염해가 심한 지역은 도전율이 높게 나타났으며, 주기적인 세정계획을 수립하여 관리하는 것이 사고를 미연에 방지할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 또한 기존에 애자 표면에 도포하는 절연그리스는 사용을 자제하는 것이 장기적으로 사고를 방지할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Outdoor insulators in coastal are affected due to salty wind blowing from the seaside. The sea salt is known as the most dangerous pollutant. As known through the preceding study, the generation of salt pollutant and the pollution degree of outdoor insulators have a close relation in accordance with meteorological conditions, such as temperature, humidity, dewpoint, wind velocity and wind direction. Therefore, at first, we have analyzed relation between meteorological conditions and contaminants for development of prediction method. In this paper, we have investigated a statistical estimation technique based on actual data for equivalent salt deposit density(ESDD) of outdoor insulators which were installed in Kochang field test substation with multiple linear regression analysis.

동절기 기후인자와 염해 오손간의 상관관계 분석 (Analysis on the Correlation between the Meteorological Factors of the Winter Season and the Salt Pollution)

  • In seashore, outdoor insulators are polluted due to salty wind and the pollution causes the flashover and failure of electric equipments. As well known, the pollution has a close relation with meteorological factors such as wind velocity, precipitation, wind direction, relative humidity, dew point, etc. In this paper we statistically analyzed the correlation between the pollution and the meteorological factors including snowfall and freezing. The multiple regression analysis was used for the statistical analysis; daily measured equivalent salt deposit density(dependent variable) and the meteorological data(independent variable) were used. From the results of this investigation, we verified the influence of snowfall and freezing on the ESDD, which has been overlooked in the preceding investigation.
