  • This research is to select a path planning algorithm to maximize survivability for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV). An UAV is a powered pilotless aircraft, which is controlled remotely or autonomously. UAVs are currently employed in many military missions(surveillance, reconnaissance, communication relay, targeting, strike etc.) and a number of civilian applications(communication service, broadcast service, traffic control support, monitoring, measurement etc.). In this research, a mathematical programming model is suggested by using MRPP(Most Reliable Path Problem) and verified by using ILOG CPLEX. A path planning algorithm for UAV is selected by comparing of SPP(Shortest Path Problem) algorithms which transfer MRPP into SPP.

  • It has been demonstrated that choosing an appropriate relay node can improve the transmission rate for the system. However, such system improvement brought by the relay selection may be degraded with the presence of the malicious relay nodes, which are selected but refuse to cooperate for transmissions deliberately. In this paper, we formulate the relay selection issue as a restless bandit problem with the objective to maximize the average rate, while considering the credibility of each relay node, which may be different at each time instant. Then the optimization problem is solved by using the priority-index heuristic method effectively. Furthermore, a low complexity algorithm is offered in order to facilitate the practical implementations. Simulation results are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed trust-based relay selection scheme.

  • In this quantitative research, it was enhanced to understand the impact of intrinsic motivation on creative process engagement by examining the significant role of psychological safety on intrinsic motivation. These relationships were examined by targeting the employees working full-time for five star deluxe hotels. Total number of 230 responses had been collected out of 250 cases requested and he number of 213 cases was used for the final analysis. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling with SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 7 software program. The results suggested that psychological safety is significantly associated with intrinsic motivation. Furthermore, the hotel employees' problem identification, information searching & coding, and idea generation are affected by intrinsic motivation. That is, intrinsic motivation plays a significant role for each sub-factors of creative process engagement in the hotel industry. The theoretical and practical implications of these findings are established and related suggestion for formulating marketing strategy is well discussed.

  • In this study, supervision resides fire mission against problems associated with case studies and surveys done through the side of the field work, technical personnel, fire management, including fire code aspects classified into three kinds of items dealt with the issue. Started at the scene of the problem in terms of performance, the issue of the construction process, mainly dealt with the issue at the time of completion. Fire management side, supervisor of technical personnel, human resources management issues, contract issues, fire code level, the frequent revisions of fire regulations, supervision, processing delays of the resulting report, the problem resides with the expansion of Fire Supervision target was mentioned. Finally, the target for each hierarchical supervision, and resident supervisor of the need for supervision of work performance test was carried out by the correlation.

  • One of the most serious national problems is the shortage of houses, especially in great cities. Housing shortage resulted from an overpopulated city brought the high-rise apartment buildings. While these buildings provide city-dwellers with much more houses, they have the basic fire safety problem in proportion to their heights. In these respect, this study aims to present the basic data for the fire safety design of high-rise apartment buildings. In this study, national fire damage statistics of past eleven years were investigated and the problem of the fire safety design of high-rise apartment buildings was studied through the methods of questions, observations and records on the representative six high-rise apartment buildings in seoul.

  • In this paper, we purpose the integrated TMS to solve the problem of current systems. The current system resulted in inconvenience because customers and users must contact to each system, when they want to know the information about orders. In this research, we develope a system with which customers and users can confirm all of order information from one system. To solve this problem, the information brought from two systems is integrated by constructing integrated database.

  • In today's business transactions, it is more and more common to see that the buyers are allowed some grace period before they settle the account with the supplier. In this regard, we analyze the problem of determining the buyer's EOQ when the supplier allows day-terms credit. For the analysis, it is assumed that the buyer's demand rate is a function of the on -hand inventory level and the relevant mathematical model is developed.

  • This paper proposed a method for solving the nonlinear integer programing problem to get easily the best compromise solution while holding a nonlinear property by using the genetic algorithms. Also, this paper reported that the optimization problem of systems reliability as was solved by using the preposed method, and the numerical comparison experiments between the 0-1 LP/0-1 NP formulations were demonstrated, and from the quantitative evaluation the efficiency of the proposed method was demonstrated.

  • This paper deals with the problem of determining the retailer's optimal price and order size under the condition of order-size-dependent delay in payments. It is assumed that the length of delay is a function of the retailer's total amount of purchase. The constant price elasticity demand function is adopted which is a decreasing function of retail price. Investigation of the properties of an optimal solution allows us to develop an algorithm whose validity is illustrated through an example problem.

  • The inventory routing problem (IRP) is an important area of Supply Chain Management. The objective function of IRP is the sum of transportation cost and inventory cost. We propose an Artificial Immune System(AIS) to solve the IRP. AIS is one of natural computing algorithm. An hyper mutation and an vaccine operator are introduced in our research. Computation results show that the hyper mutation is useful to improve the solution quality and the vaccine is useful to reduce the calculation time.
