기단변질형 한반도 강설 모의에 있어서 물리과정 모수화 과정의 효과 (Effects of Physical Parameterizations on the Simulation of a Snowfall Event over Korea Caused by Air-mass Transformation)

  • The objective of this paper is to investigate the effects of physical parameterization on the simulation of a snowfall event over Korea caused by air-mass transformation by using the PSU/NCAR MM5. A heavy snowfall event over Korea during 3-5 January 2003 is selected. In addition to the control experiments employing simple-ice microphysics scheme, MRF PBL scheme, and original surface layer process, three consequent physics sensitivity experiments are performed. Each experiment exchanges microphysics (Reisner Graupel), boundary layer (YSU PBL) schemes, and revised surface layer process with a reduced thermal roughness length for the control run. The control run reproduces an overall pattern of snowfall over Korea, but with a high bias by a factor of about 2. As revealed in the previous studies, the cloud microphysics and PBL parameterizations do not show a significant sensitivity for the case of snowfall. A more sophisticated cloud processes does not reveal a discernible effect on the simulated snowfall. Further, high bias in snowfall is exaggerated when a more realistic PBL scheme is employed. On the other hand, it is found that the revised surface layer process plays a role in improving the prediction of snowfall by reducing it. Thus, it is found that a realistic design of surface layer physics in mesoscale models is an important factor to the reduction of systematic bias of the snowfall over Korea that is caused by air-mass transformation over the Yellow sea.

연속 추력제어 연소시험을 위한 단계별 시험들 (Step-by-step Tests for Continuous Thrust Control Hot-firing Test)

  • 본 논문에서는 메탄엔진 단일분사기급 연소기의 추력제어를 위해 수행된 드라이런 테스트, 수류시험, 그리고 연소시험 결과를 다루었다. 메탄엔진 연소시험설비의 산화제 및 연료 공급 라인에 유량제어 밸브를 설치한 후, 다수의 드라이런 테스트를 수행하여 밸브가 설정된 스트로크에 빠르고 안정적으로 도달할 수 있도록 하였다. 다음 액체질소와 기체질소를 사용한 수류시험을 진행하여 밸브 제어에 따른 모사 추진제의 안정적인 공급을 확인하였다. 최종적으로 액체산소와 기체메탄을 사용하여 정격 추력 대비 50%~10%의 고정 추력제어 연소시험과 연속 추력제어 연소시험을 성공적으로 수행하였다.

자산가격변동과 민간소비의 동태적 반응 (Asset Prices and Consumption Dynamics in Korea)

  • 본고는 자산가격의 변동에 따른 민간소비의 동태적 반응을 분석한다. 오차수정모형에 기초한 분석 결과, 민간소비는 자산가격의 변화에 영향을 받지만 2년 정도의 기간이 경과할 경우 총소득에 상응하는 장기균형수준으로 수렴할 가능성이 높게 나타난다. 이러한 민간소비의 조정은 일시적인 소비불균형을 의미하는 공적분오차가 장기소비증가율에 대해 예측력을 가짐을 시사하는데, 최대 3년 정도의 장기소비증가율에 대해 예측력이 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 한편, 민간소비에 대한 영향은 주식가격보다는 주택가격이 상대적으로 더 크고 유의하게 관찰된다. 또한 경기순환을 고려할 경우 소득 및 자산가격의 변화에 대한 민간소비의 단기적인 반응은 경기수축기가 경기확장기보다 크게 추정되었다. 본고에서는 민간소비에 대한 자산가격의 영향과 더불어 수량요인까지 함께 고려한 자산의 변화가 민간소비에 미치는 영향도 구분하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 자산의 경우는 장기에서도 총소득과 함께 민간소비에 대해 유의한 설명력을 보인다. 한편, 전체 부를 인적요소인 노동소득과 자산으로 구분하여 자산의 변화에 따른 민간소비의 변화를 추정하였는데, 자산에 대한 소비의 장기탄력성은 노동소득을 고려한 경우가 총소득을 통제한 경우에 비해 높게 나왔다. 노동소득을 고려한 경우 자산에 대한 한계소비성향은 2% 정도로 추정된다. 이는 1,000원의 자산증가에 대해 20원 정도의 소비증대 효과가 있음을 시사한다.

유산소 운동에서 운동강도가 흰쥐 골격근의 장쇄 지방산대사율과 지질관련 유전자발현에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Aerobic Exercise Intensity on the Oxidation of the Long Chain Fatty Acid and the Expression of Lipid-related Genes in the Skeletal Muscle of Rats)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate gene expression related with lipid metabolism and long chain fatty acid oxidation rates in the skeletal muscle by exercise. Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into control (CON: n=7), high-intensity (HI-EX: n=7) and low-intensity exercise (LI-EX; n=7) groups. Rats in LI-Ex group were forced to run on the treadmill at the speed of 10m/min for 60 min. On the other hand, rats in the HI-Ex group were forced to run on the treadmill slope 0 at the speed of 25 m/min for 60 min. The palmitate oxidation rate of the RG was increased immediately and 1 hr after exercise in the HI-Ex group, and the HI-Ex group was higher than in the LI-Ex group in RG and WG. Expression of PPARα of the RG in HI-Ex groups was increased compared with control immediately after exercise. FAT/CD36 expression were not shown any significant effect by exercise. AMPK expression of the RG in the HI-Ex group was significently increased immediately after exercise compared with control. The change in CPT-1 expression of the RG in the HI-Ex group showed a similar pattern to that AMPK. In the summary, the gene expression of PPARα, AMPK and CPT1 that was related lipid metabolism was not significantly affected by low-intensity exercise, but effected by high-intensity exercise. In conclusion, exercise intensity and amounts might be have very important role to regulate gene expression related with metabolism.

최적의 퍼지제어규칙을 얻기위한 퍼지학습법 (A Learning Algorithm for Optimal Fuzzy Control Rules)

  • A fuzzy learning algorithm to get the optimal fuzzy rules is presented in this paper. The algorithm introduces a reference model to generate a desired output and a performance index funtion instead of the performance index table. The performance index funtion is a cost function based on the error and error-rate between the reference and plant output. The cost function is minimized by a gradient method and the control input is also updated. In this case, the control rules which generate the desired response can be obtained by changing the portion of the error-rate in the cost funtion. In SISO(Single-Input Single- Output)plant, only by the learning delay, it is possible to experss the plant model and to get the desired control rules. In the long run, this algorithm gives us the good control rules with a minimal amount of prior informaiton about the environment.

생태계 제어구조물의 월파제어 특성 (Wave overtopping control by the use of ecosystem control structures)

  • Coastal diaster induced by waves and countermeasures were investigated in the viewpoint of reduction of overtopping rate with enviroment in fishing port. The reduction method of wave overtopping rate using ecosystem control structures was proposed and studied on the efficiency by hydraulic and numerical experiments. The estimation models on wave overtopping rate was proposed after comparing previous models with dimensional analysis and experimental results. Control function o fwave overtopping by use of ecosystem controlstructures was simulated and discussed with combining wave shoaling-dissipation-breaking deformation model around ecosystem control structures and newly proposed calculation model for wave overtopping rate. Feasiblilty of ecosystem control structures could be confirmed for reduction of wave overtopping and fisheries-based multipurpose development of coastal zone.

  • In this paper, we develop the basic robot commands on the level of VAL robot language and the integrated environment software of the robot management system to give users an easy way of programming and running the robot. The developed software is designed to support Korean language and to be run by the pop-up menus for programming commands and inputs. Geometrical and dynamical features can be viewed on a computer monitor by graphics and the taught works can be interfaced with a computer and controllers.

  • Piled snow upon PV module interferes with Photoelectric Effect process through photovoltaic directly. As a result of this phenomenon, its generation efficiencies keep decreasing or are stuck at zero power generating status. In addition, PV facilities have been installed on those places such as water surface, roof-top, and other isolated places, dealing with conditions of "Securing high REC weighted value", "Difficulty of securing land" and so forth. Through this study, we are able to actualize the function of heating over PV modules when it snows. We adopted laminating method through heating film and modules, guaranteeing warranty more than for 25 years. Also we are trying remote control systemically, not by hardware control, to run parallel with automatic driving and monitoring system which enable to control operation time, insolation, amount of snowfall automatically. We applied analysis of actual proof to both snow removal PV system and general PV power system, and these led to bear power consumption analysis while snow-removing, and its comparison after finishing the task as "One stone, two birds." In the long run, we could carry out economic analysis against snow removal system, and this helps to verify the most maximized control method for snow removal conditons on a basis of weather information. this study shall let prevent people from negligent accidents, and improve power generation problems as mentioned from the top. Ultimately, we expect to apply this system to heavy snowfall regions in winter season in spite of its limited system installaion in Korean territory, initially.

다중 학습 알고리듬을 이용한 평면형 병렬 매니퓰레이터의 Fuzzy 논리 제어 (Fuzzy logic control of a planar parallel manipulator using multi learning algorithm)

  • A study on the improvement of tracking performance of a 3 DOF planar parallel manipulator is performed. A class of adaptive tracking control sheme is designed using self tuning adaptive fuzzy logic control theory. This control sheme is composed of three classical PD controller and a multi learning type self tuning adaptive fuzzy logic controller set. PD controller is tuned roughly by manual setting a priori and fuzzy logic controller is tuned precisely by the gradient descent method for a global solution during run-time, so the proposed control scheme is tuned more rapidly and precisely than the single learning type self tuning adaptive fuzzy logic control sheme for a local solution. The control performance of the proposed algorithm is verified through experiments.

Multivariate CUSUM control charts for monitoring the covariance matrix

  • This paper is a study on the multivariate CUSUM control charts using three different control statistics for monitoring covariance matrix. We get control limits and ARLs of the proposed multivariate CUSUM control charts using three different control statistics by using computer simulations. The performances of these proposed multivariate CUSUM control charts have been investigated by comparing ARLs. The purpose of control charts is to detect assignable causes of variation so that these causes can be found and eliminated from process, variability will be reduced and the process will be improved. We show that the charts based on three different control statistics are very effective in detecting shifts, especially shifts in covariances when the variables are highly correlated. When variables are highly correlated, our overall recommendation is to use the multivariate CUSUM control charts using trace for detecting changes in covariance matrix.
