Performance degradation of a battery in 20 kWh energy storage system (ESS) under various operating conditions was studied. And energy saving of the ESS was also monitored by connecting with 20 kW photovoltaic (PV). PV-connected ESS saved 5~7% of energy consumption in 2013 compared to that without such system in 2012. As charge-discharge cycle increased, capacity decreased and the performance degradation was glaringly obvious after 40 cycles. And as charge and discharge rate increased, the performance degradation was more serious. After 50 charge-discharge cycles, a lot of degraded product was deposited on the surface of anode and cathode electrodes, and the cathode side was more contaminated. Therefore, in order to maintain the cell performance, it was more important to protect the degradation of the cathode side.

Pigment extracts obtained from Star Ruby grapefruit pulp were stored at different temperatures (4.5$^{\circ}C$, 23$^{\circ}C$) and exposed to light. many carotenoid oxidation products were formed due to light-exposure during storage periods. They were monitored by using HPLC with photodiode array detection and tentatively identified. Including (all-E)-lycopene and trans-$\beta$-carotene as predominant carotenoids in red grapefruit, 5Z-lycopene, 9Z-lycopene, 13Z-lycopene, and 15-cis-$\beta$-carotene were formed at 4.5$^{\circ}C$, 23$^{\circ}C$. Degradation of all-tarns lycopene was more susceptible to light-exposure and temperature a than that of all-trans $\beta$-carotene. The formation of lycopene cis isomers was favored under lighted condition. Respectively, (5Z)-lycopene was formed in greater amounts than other isomers at 23$^{\circ}C$ storage. The concentration of 15-cis-$\beta$-carotene was significantly increased during storage at 23$^{\circ}C$ storage. The concentration of 15-cis-$\beta$-carotene was significantly increased during storage at 23$^{\circ}C$.

The abnormal brown sunken lesions were observed on cv. RubyS apple fruits in an orchard located in Gunwi, Gyeongbuk province, Korea. The primary observed symptoms such as small round sunken lesions and small black dots on the symptomatic area were different from the reported apple diseases. The affected apple fruits were sampled and subjected to isolation of the causal agent. Cultural and morphological characteristics of isolated fungal strain, designated KNUF-20GWA4, were similar to that of Colletotrichum spp. Based on multilocus sequence analyses using internal transcribed spacer regions and partial sequences of β-tubulin, glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, chitin synthase, and actin genes, strain KNUF-20GWA4 showed 99.2-100% similarities with C. aenigma ICMP 18608 and the isolate clustered together with several other strains of this species in the phylogenetic tree. To our knowledge, this is the first report of bitter rot on apple fruits caused by C. aenigma.

본 논문은 루비(Ruby) 언어를 바탕으로 만들어진 게임 제작 도구 RPG Maker VX Ace를 이용하여 제작한 방탈출 게임의 구현 논문이다. RPG Maker VX Ace는 기존의 게임 개발 도구나 게임 엔진과는 다르게 낮은 진입장벽으로 비전문가들도 원활히 게임을 제작할 수 있도록 하는 환경을 제공한다. 본 연구에서는 비전문가들도 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 게임 제작 도구를 이용하여 RPG게임 시장에 접근성을 높이고 게임의 다양성을 확대하여 IT강국인 한국의 게임 시장 경쟁력을 강화할 수 있는 방안에 대해 고찰한다. 또한 RPG Maker VX Ace를 이용한 방탈출 게임의 프로토타입 개발 사례에 대해 분석함으로써 게임의 프로그램 구성을 제시하며 다른 RPG게임들과 차별화된 특징을 제시함으로써 게임이 상용화되었을 때의 기대효과에 대해 다루고 있다.

최근 모바일 디바이스의 웹 접근 환경이 PC환경과 동일한 프로토콜을 이용하는 형식으로 변화하고 있다. 이에 따라 많은 곳에서 모바일 웹 애플리케이션을 개발하고 있으나 모바일 웹 표준을 도입하여 개발을 수행하는 곳은 많지 않다. 본 논문에서는 최근 각광을 받고 있는 경량화 웹 애플리케이션 개발 프레임워크인 Ruby on Rails[1]를 기반으로 하여 최근 W3C에서 정의된 모바일 웹 표준을 준수하는 애자일 개발방법론을 제안한다. Ruby on Rails기반의 모바일 웹 개발 아키텍처를 정의하고 이를 바탕으로 모바일 웹 표준을 준수하는 애자일 개발방법론을 제안한다. 제안한 프레임워크를 통하여 개발을 수행할 경우 애자일 개발방법론을 도입함과 동시에 모바일 웹 표준 환경을 준수하여 모바일 웹 애플리케이션의 품질을 보증할 수 있으며 신뢰도도 획득하게 된다. 또한 다양한 디바이스에서 정상적인 구동이 가능하다.

Mobile web applications are being used and changed rapidly due to the growth of mobile device performance. But, cost of development environment and standards make the high development cost and low productivity. It is main reason that the design and implementation of the applications are more time consuming than general computing environments. In this paper, we propose MWeb(MobileWeb)-Framework based on the agile methodology and Ruby on Rails that is a kind of framework for supporting mobile web application development using mobile web standards. This work consists of the mobile web development architecture and agile process model. MWeb-Framework will support the same user experience to the different devices. We validates the framework by implementing the case studies through suggested mobile web development framework. As a result, we can develop the mobile web applications with productivity and quality. In the future, we will suggest how to make the MWeb-Framework standardization and practically apply the frameworks the various case studies to improve framework potentially problems.

Ruby single crystals of 6-7 mm in dialneter and 20-25 mm in length were grown by the xenon-arc type floating zone method using a self-designed FZHY1, Calcination and sintering conditions were investigated and optimum growth conditions were established for controlling the factors such as growth rates, rotation speeds and cooling rates. Also the available energy levels of $Cr^{3+}$ were calculated from transmission data. The growth direction of the crystals was [1010] direction identified by Laue back reflection pattern. The distribution of refractive indices on the wafer of the grown crystals was homogeneous except for the edges of the wafer. The crystals could be used as a laser material with a wavelength of 693 nm and a metastate level.
