In ad hoc networks, position-based routing schemes, that use geographical positions of nodes, have been proposed to efficiently route messages. In these routing schemes, the location service is one of the key elements that determines and effects security and efficiency of the protocol. In this paper, we define security threats of location service and propose a new quorum based location service protocol. In our proposed protocol, nodes register their public keys in other nodes during the initialization phase and these registered keys are used to verify locations of other nodes and the messages exchanged. In this paper, we prove that our protocol is robust against traditional attacks and new attacks that may occur due to the use of position-based routing. We also analyze the efficiency of our protocol using various simulations.
MANET composed wireless nodes without fixed infrastructure provides high flexibility, but it has weak disadvantage to various attack. It has big weakness to DDoS attack because every node perform packet forwarding especially. In this paper, packet transmission information control technique is proposed to reduce damage of DDoS attack in MANET and search location of attacker when DDoS attacks occur. Hierarchical structure using gateway node is adopted for protect a target of attack in this study. Gateway node in cluster is included like destination nodes surely when source nodes route path to destination nodes and it protects destination nodes. We confirmed efficiency by comparing proposed method in this study with CUSUM and measured the quantity consumed memory of cluster head to evaluate efficiency of information control using to location tracing.

MANET is composed of only the mobile nodes have a limited transmission range. The dynamic topology by the frequent movement of nodes makes routing difficult and is also cause exposed to security vulnerabilities. In this paper, we propose the security routing technique consisted of mechanism of two steps in order to respond effectively to attack by the modification of the routing information and transmit secure data. The hierarchical structure is used and the authentication node that issues the key of the nodes within each cluster is elected in this proposed method. The authentication node manages key issues and issued information for encrypting the routing information from the source node. The reliability value for each node is managed to routing trust table in order to secure data transmission. In the first step, the route discovery is performed using this after the routing information is encrypted using the key issued by the authentication node. In the second step, the average reliability value of the node in the found path is calculated. And the safety of the data transmission is improved after the average reliability value selects the highest path. The improved performance of the proposed method in this paper was confirmed through comparative experiments with CBSR and SEER. It was confirmed a better performance in the transmission delay, the amount of the control packet, and the packet transmission success ratio.

We aim to propose the prediction modeling method of ship's position with extracting ship's trajectory model through pattern recognition based on the data that are being collected in VTS centers at real time. Support Vector Machine algorithm was used for data modeling. The optimal parameters are calculated with k-fold cross validation and grid search. We expect that the proposed modeling method could support VTS operators' decision making in case of complex encountering traffic situations.
NEMO 기본 지원 (NEMO-BS, NEMO Basic Support) 프로토콜에서 MNN(Mobile Network Node)가 CN(Correspondent Node) 과 통신을 하기 위해서는 항상 MR(Mobile Router)과 HA(Home Agent) 사이의 양방향 터널을 이용해야 한다.
Today, group research efforts are increasing for cutting edge technologies related to climate, radio astronomy, co-utilization of high performance computing resources and more. Accordingly, networks for cutting-edge researches a re also regarded as means for cutting-edge researches nowadays. Therefore, it is necessary for administrating cutti ng-edge network to be considered, reflecting such a current trend. In this sense, 'Research which can help to admin istrate the networks which are usually used as means for a lot researches' was set as a goal of this paper.
This paper propose CAR-TO-CAR protocol which can prevent the cars at high-speed from a multiple clash accident at highway with exchanging information. we construct cluster be linked with distance took from GPS(Global Positioning System) because there is no connection at cars on the road. The proposed method solved the overload problem by establishing route because construct the cluster at the IEEE 802.11 MAC class. 'Multi-hop Routing protocol' based on Active Network enable stable Network to be formed by using Active Network.
선행 연구개발한 집단감시 디지털 시스템(Group Digital Surveillance System for Fishery Safety and Security, GDSS- F2S)은 대단위 양식장에 침입하는 도적을 방어하기 위하여 레이더 추적정보와 적아식별 정보를 제공하는 시스템이다.
A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a collection of mobile nodes communicating in an infrastructure-less environment without the aid of a central administrating authority. Such networks entail greater dependency on synergy amongst the nodes to execute fundamental network operations. The scarcity of resources makes it economically logical for nodes to misbehave to preserve their resources which makes secure routing difficult to achieve. To ensure secure routing a mechanism is required to discourage misbehavior and maintain the synergy in the network. The proposed scheme employs a partially distributed dynamic model at each node for enhancing the security of the network. Supplementary information regarding misbehavior in the network is partially distributed among the nodes during route establishment which is used as a cautionary measure to ensure secure routing. The proposed scheme contemplates the real world scenario where a node may exhibit different kinds of misbehavior at different times. Thus, it provides a dynamic decision making procedure to deal with nodes exhibiting varying misbehaviors in accordance to their severity. Simulations conducted to evaluate the performance of the model demonstrate its effectiveness in dealing with misbehaving nodes.
The damage is increasing due to many encroachment accidents caused by increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks. Many institutions and businesses lack early response to invest a lot of resources in the infrastructure for incident detection. The initial response of an intrusion is to identify the route of attack, and many cyber attacks are targeted at software vulnerabilities. Therefore, analyzing the artifacts of a Windows system against software vulnerabilities and classifying the analyzed data can be utilized for rapid initial response. Therefore, the remaining artifacts upon entry of attacks by software are classified, and artifact grouping is presented for use in analysis of encroachment accidents.
