Purpose: In modern radiotherapy technology, several methods of image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) are used to deliver accurate doses to tumor target locations and normal organs, including CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) and other devices, ExacTrac System, other than CBCT equipped with linear accelerators. In previous studies comparing the two systems, positional errors were analysed rearwards using Offline-view or evaluated only with a Yaw rotation with the X, Y, and Z axes. In this study, when using CBCT and ExacTrac to perform 6 Degree of the Freedom(DoF) Online IGRT in a treatment center with two equipment, the difference between the set-up calibration values seen in each system, the time taken for patient set-up, and the radiation usefulness of the imaging device is evaluated. Materials and Methods: In order to evaluate the difference between mobile calibrations and exposure radiation dose, the glass dosimetry and Rando Phantom were used for 11 cancer patients with head circumference from March to October 2017 in order to assess the difference between mobile calibrations and the time taken from Set-up to shortly before IGRT. CBCT and ExacTrac System were used for IGRT of all patients. An average of 10 CBCT and ExacTrac images were obtained per patient during the total treatment period, and the difference in 6D Online Automation values between the two systems was calculated within the ROI setting. In this case, the area of interest designation in the image obtained from CBCT was fixed to the same anatomical structure as the image obtained through ExacTrac. The difference in positional values for the six axes (SI, AP, LR; Rotation group: Pitch, Roll, Rtn) between the two systems, the total time taken from patient set-up to just before IGRT, and exposure dose were measured and compared respectively with the RandoPhantom. Results: the set-up error in the phantom and patient was less than 1mm in the translation group and less than 1.5° in the rotation group, and the RMS values of all axes except the Rtn value were less than 1mm and 1°. The time taken to correct the set-up error in each system was an average of 256±47.6sec for IGRT using CBCT and 84±3.5sec for ExacTrac, respectively. Radiation exposure dose by IGRT per treatment was measured at 37 times higher than ExacTrac in CBCT and ExacTrac at 2.468mGy and 0.066mGy at Oral Mucosa among the 7 measurement locations in the head and neck area. Conclusion: Through 6D online automatic positioning between the CBCT and ExacTrac systems, the set-up error was found to be less than 1mm, 1.02°, including the patient's movement (random error), as well as the systematic error of the two systems. This error range is considered to be reasonable when considering that the PTV Margin is 3mm during the head and neck IMRT treatment in the present study. However, considering the changes in target and risk organs due to changes in patient weight during the treatment period, it is considered to be appropriately used in combination with CBCT.
Purpose: The biomechanics and kinematics of knee joint were reviewed in this article. And then the common sports injuries were presented. Anatomy and Kinetics: None of the pairs of bearing surfaces in the knee joint is exactly congruent This allows the knee six degrees of freedom of motion. Tibiofemoral Kinematics: In flexion and extension, the axis of motion is not perpendicular to the medial-lateral plane of the joint, nor is it perpendicular to the axis of longitudinal rotation. This results in coupled varus angulation and internal rotation with flexion and in valgus angulation and external rotation with extension. Patellofemoral Articulation: Loads across the patellofemoral joint are indirectly related to the angle of knee flexion and directly related to the force generated within the quadriceps mechanism. Fractures of the Patella: Nonoperative treatment is indicated if the extensor mechanism is intact and if displacement of fragment is minimal. The specific type of internal fixation depends on the fracture pattern. It is important to repair retinaculum. Acute and Recurrent Patellar Instability: The degree of dysplasia and the extent of the instability play a large part in determining the success of nonoperative treatment. Patients who experience recurrent dislocations and patients with major anatomic variations require surgery to minimize their instability. Sports Injuries in School-age Atheletes: Patellar pain in young athletes groups a number of conditions, including Idiopathic Adolescent Anterior Knee Pain, Osgood- Schlatter Disease, and Sinding-Larsen-Johansson Disease.
A rockburst is a common disaster in deep-tunnel excavation engineering, especially for high-geostress areas. An anomalously low friction effect is one of the most important inducements of rockbursts. To elucidate the correlation between an anomalously low friction effect and a rockburst, we establish a two-dimensional prediction model that considers the discontinuous structure of a rock mass. The degree of freedom of the rotation angle is introduced, thus the motion equations of the blocks under the influence of a transient disturbing force are acquired according to the interactions of the blocks. Based on the two-dimensional discontinuous block model of deep rock mass, a rockburst prediction model is established, and the initiation process of ultra-low friction rockburst is analyzed. In addition, the intensity of a rockburst, including the location, depth, area, and velocity of ejection fragments, can be determined quantitatively using the proposed prediction model. Then, through a specific example, the effects of geomechanical parameters such as the different principal stress ratios, the material properties, a dip of principal stress on the occurrence form and range of rockburst are analyzed. The results indicate that under dynamic disturbance, stress variation on the structural surface in a deep rock mass may directly give rise to a rockburst. The formation of rockburst is characterized by three stages: the appearance of cracks that result from the tension or compression failure of the deformation block, the transformation of strain energy of rock blocks to kinetic energy, and the ejection of some of the free blocks from the surrounding rock mass. Finally, the two-dimensional rockburst prediction model is applied to the construction drainage tunnel project of Jinping II hydropower station. Through the comparison with the field measured rockburst data and UDEC simulation results, it shows that the model in this paper is in good agreement with the actual working conditions, which verifies the accuracy of the model in this paper.
This study was designed with the purpose to analyze the bias and the factor structure of Need of Living and to clear the influence of related variables on Need on Living. The Degree of Importance(Di) and of sufficiency(Ds) of 65 indicators which were the constituent components of Need of Living and were extracted from the 51 preceeding studies was estimated by the 1084 samples including 614 urban and 470 rural residents through the questionaire. The indicators with higher Di and lower Ds than average were considered to show the high level of Need of Living. The main results are as follows; 1. Generally speaking, the level of Di was higher than that of Ds. Specially this was serious in the case of the indicators related with social-economic equity, employment, housing and environment. 2. Di level of the indicators such as physical health, judicial equality, the life of planned expenditure was highest. Specially the equity of income allocation was considered to be more important than the increase of income or asset itself. 3. Ds level of the indicators such as the life of plannel expenditure, the development of transportation and communication and the relationship between parents and children was highest, adn that of the use of leisure time, socialactivity, economic equality and social welfare was lowest. 4. Through the oblique rotation of Factor analysis, 12 factors were extracted (total eigen value 32.663, total variance 50.251%). Specially Factor 1 which was christened as the equality and development of social-economic life was related with 11 indicators and its common variance was 51.68%. 5. The rural residents, the lower income group and the lower educated group, who were told of being under disadvantage and unfair treatment of social-economic status, showed higher suffiency on the equity of income allocation, the freedom of living and expression, and judicial equality. 6. Generally speaking, the urban residents, the group under 39 years old, the higher educated group had more intensive Need of Living than the other groups.
In recent years the monitoring of structural behavior through acquisition of vibrational data has become common practice. In addition, recent advances in sensor development have made the collection of diverse dynamic information feasible. Other than the commonly collected acceleration information, Global Position System (GPS) receivers and non-contact, optical techniques have also allowed for the synchronous collection of highly accurate displacement data. The fusion of this heterogeneous information is crucial for the successful monitoring and control of structural systems especially when aiming at real-time estimation. This task is not a straightforward one as measurements are inevitably corrupted with some percentage of noise, often leading to imprecise estimation. Quite commonly, the presence of noise in acceleration signals results in drifting estimates of displacement states, as a result of numerical integration. In this study, a new approach based on a time domain identification method, namely the Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF), is proposed for correcting the "drift effect" in displacement or rotation estimates in an online manner, i.e., on the fly as data is attained. The method relies on the introduction of artificial white noise (WN) observations into the filter equations, which is shown to achieve an online correction of the drift issue, thus yielding highly accurate motion data. The proposed approach is demonstrated for two cases; firstly, the illustrative example of a single degree of freedom linear oscillator is examined, where availability of acceleration measurements is exclusively assumed. Secondly, a field inspired implementation is presented for the torsional identification of a tall tower structure, where acceleration measurements are obtained at a high sampling rate and non-collocated GPS displacement measurements are assumed available at a lower sampling rate. A multi-rate Kalman Filter is incorporated into the analysis in order to successfully fuse data sampled at different rates.

In fine-particle injection processing, hard fine particles, such as silicon carbide or aluminum oxide, are injected - using high-pressure air, and a small amount of material is removed by applying an impact to the workpiece by spraying at high speeds. In this study, a two-axis stage device capable of sequence control was developed to spray various shapes, such as circles and squares, on the surface during the micro-particle jetting process to understand the surface-shape micro-particle-processing characteristics. In the experimental device, two stepper motors were used for the linear movement of the two degree-of-freedom mechanism. The signal output from the microcontroller is - converted into a signal with a current sufficient to drive the stepper motor. The stepper motor rotates precisely in synchronization with the pulse-signal input from the outside, eliminating the need for a separate rotation-angle sensor. The major factors of the processing conditions are fine particles (silicon carbide, aluminum oxide), injection pressure, nozzle diameter, feed rate, and number of injection cycles. They were identified using the ANOVA technique on the design of the experimental method. Based on this, the surface roughness of the spraying surface, surface depth of the spraying surface, and radius of the corner of the spraying surface were measured, and depending on the characteristics, the required spraying conditions were studied.

In this paper, we propose the dynamic modeling, path planning and tracking algorithms of 4-wheeled 2-d.o.f.(degree of freedom) mobile robot(WMR). The gaussian functions are applied to design the smooth path of WMR. To calculate the WMR position in real time, we use three components of inertial measurement units(IMU). These units have initial error because of the rotation rate of earth, gravity acceleration and so on. Therefore we derive the initial error model of IMU, and compare the fitness diagnosis about probability characteristics of real data adn estimated data. The performance of IMU with error model and Kalman filter is compared to that without filter and error model. The simulation results show that the proposed dynamic model, path planning and tracking algorithms are more useful than the conventional control algorithm.
Based on a variational principle of the consistent shear deformable discrete laminate theory derived in the companion paper Part I, a finite element procedure for the vibration analysis of laminated composite plates is presented. The present formulation takes the in-plane displacements of an arbitrary layer, the rotations of the cross section of each layer and transverse displacement of the plate as the state variables at a nodal point of finite element, resulting in total nodal degree of freedom of 2(n+l) +1 for the n-layered laminate. Thus, it allows to specify displacement boundary conditions of layer stretching and/or rotation of layer cross sections around the plate edge and/or lateral displacement. The developed procedure is applied to the free vibration problem for sandwich-type hybrid laminates composed of layers with drastically different material properties whose elasticity solutions are known. Comparison of analysis results with other FEM solutions showed that the present formulation yields better accuracy.

Seats in autonomous vehicles must be able to rotate to fully utilize the interior space. Generally, ultra-high strength steel is used for the rotation module because it should have high strength and high rigidity. In addition, the rotating parts are difficult to form because they have complex shapes. In this study, the upper plate of the rotating module, whose complex shape makes it difficult to form, was formed by applying the hot stamping method. The drawing method and the form-drawing method, which are generally used to form components of complex shapes, were compared. We showed that the form-drawing method increased the degree of freedom of the material flow to improve the formability, thus enabling the forming of the plate. In addition, the die and blank shapes were found to be important factors in determining the success of the hot stamping. The validity of the analysis results was confirmed through forming analysis and experiments.

In this study, an approximate multi-objective optimization of a wall-mounted monitor bracket arm was performed. The rotation angle of the bracket arm was determined considering the inplane degree of freedom. We then formulated an optimization problem on maximum stress and deflection. Analyses of mean and design parameters were conducted for sensitivity regarding performance with orthogonal array and response surface method (RSM). RSM models of objective and constraint functions were generated using central composite (CCD) and D-optimal design. The accuracy of approximate models was evaluated through $R^2$ value. The obtained optimal solutions by non-dominant sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) were validated through the finite element analysis and we compared the obtained optimal solution by CCD and D-optimal design.
