$H_{\infty}$필터를 이용한 2관성 공진계의 2자유도제어 (Two-Degree-of-Freedom Control of Two-Mass Resonant System using $H_{\infty}$ Filer)

  • In the industrial motor drive system, a shaft torsional vibration is often generated when a motor and a load are connected with a flexible shaft. This paper treats the vibration suppression control of such a system. In this paper, two-degree-of-freedom(TDOF) control of the two-mass resonant system using the $H_{\infty}$ filter is proposed. TDOF control method satisfies the command following property and the internal stability at the same. The $H_{\infty}$ filter is robust in noise and disturbance. Simulation results show the validity of the proposed control method.

  • In case that the perfect model following conditions are not satisfied in the system, a perfect model-following controller is difficult to apply to the system. To deal with this problem, in this paper, a robust imperfect stable model-following controller is designed by combining time delay controller and sliding mode controller based on the concept of two degrees of freedom(2-DOF) controller design method. The experimental dynamic modeling of the commercial overhead crane with capacity of two tons is carried out. To remove the noise of the measuring signals from the swing angle measurement device and estimate the state of the swing angles of the transported object at each time instant, realtime tracker is designed using Kalman filter. The performance of the designed robust controller is tested through the commercial overhead. The experimental results show that the designed controller is robust and applicable to real systems.

  • This paper deal with a fault detection algorithm for front wheel passenger car systems by using robust $H{\infty}$ control theory. Firstly, we present a unified formulation of vehicle dynamics for front wheel car systems and transform this formulation into state space form. Also, by considering the cornering stiffness which depends on the tyre-road contact conditions, a multiplicative uncertainty for vehicle model is described. Next, the failures of sensor and actuator for vehicle system are defined in which the fault .lter is considered. From the nominal vehicle model, an augmented system includes the multiplicative uncertainty and the model of fault filter is proposed. Lastly by using $H{\infty}$ norm property the fault detect conditions are deefi.ned, and the actuator and sensor failures are detected and isolated by designing the robust $H{\infty}$ controller, respectively.

  • In this paper, an experiment of weighted robust least squares frequency estimation for the Gaussian envelope chirp signal which is used in the time-frequency domain reflectometry system was carried out. By incorporating the forgetting factor to the frequency estimator, the weighted robust least squares filter achieved good enough frequency estimation performance for the chirp signal and it can be adopted to implement not only low cost time-frequency domain reflectometry but also real-time time-frequency domain reflectometry implementation.

  • In the Industrial motor drive system, a torsional vibration is often generated because of the elastic element in torque transmission. Such system is simply modelled as a two-mass system. In this paper, it is proposed control system which is based on the two-degree-of-freedom PI control and resonance ratio control with the $H^{\infty}$ filter which is robust in disturbance and noise. The control performance of the proposed control system are examined by the computer simulation.

  • An $H{\infty}$ controller with a roll eccentricity filter is proposed to alleviate the effect of entry thickness variation and roll eccentricity occured in rolling stands themselves of tandem cold mills. A robust controller to the disturbances is designed by H$_{\infty}$ control techniques, which can reflect the input direction of disturbances and the knowledge of disturbance spectrum in the frequency domain. First, fundamental problems in tandem cold mills such as process transport delay inherent in the exit thickness measurement and the feedforward loading of roll eccentricity signals on the exit thickness be overcome by the roll eccentricity filtering and the compensation for the error of gaugemeter thickness estimator. And non-satndard $H{\infty}$ control problem caused by the selection of weighting function having poles on the $J{\omega}$-axis is discussed. The resultant controller composed by an $H{\infty}$ controller and an estimator for the roll eccentricity is evaluated through computer simulations. The effectiveness of the proposed control method is compared to that of the conventional LQ controller method and a feedforward controller for the roll eccentricity, which has been already studied.

  • In this paper, the automatic steering system for unmanned vehicle was developed. The vision system is used for the lane detection system. This paper defines two modes for detecting lanes on a road. First is searching mode and the other is recognition mode. We use inverse perspective transform and a linear approximation filter for accurate lane detections. The PD control theory is used for the design of the controller to compare with $H_{\infty}$ control theory. The $H_{\infty}$ control theory is used for the design of the controller to reduce the disturbance. The performance of the PD controller and $H_{\infty}$ controller is compared in simulations and tests. The PD controller is easy to tune in the test site. The $H_{\infty}$ controller is robust for the disturbances in the test results.

Fast Envelope Estimation Technique for Monitoring Voltage Fluctuations

  • Voltage quality problems such as voltage sag, swell, flicker, undervoltage, and overvoltage have been of great concern for both utilities and customers over the last decade. In this paper, a new approach based on the $H_{\infty}$ algorithm to monitor voltage disturbances is presented. The key idea of this approach is to estimate the amplitude of the fundamental component of distorted and noisy voltage waveform instantaneously, and then the information can be extracted from the estimated envelope to identify and classify different voltage related power quality problems. The $H_{\infty}$ algorithm is characterized by a fast tracking, unlike that of existing techniques. The $H_{\infty}$ algorithm outperforms the Kalman Filter (KF) by its fast convergence and robust tracking performance against non-Gaussian noise. The paper investigates the effects of various types of noise on the performance of the $H_{\infty}$ algorithm. Digital simulation results confirm the validity and accuracy of the proposed method. The proposed $H_{\infty}$ algorithm is examined by tracking the flicker produced by a resistance welder simulated in the PSCAD/EMTDC package.

다중 $H_\infty$ 필터에 의한 강인한 음성향상 (Robust Speech Enhancement By Multi $H_\infty$ Filter)

  • 칼만/위너 필터 같은 기존의 음성향상 알고리즘은 잡음의 선험적 지식을 요구하고, 음성신호와 추정신호의 오차분산을 최소화하는데 중점을 두었다. 따라서, 잡음에 대한 통계적 추정에 오류가 있을 경우 결과에 악영향을 미칠 수 있다. 그러나 $H_\infty$ 필터는 잡음에 대한 어떠한 가정이나 선험적 지식을 요구하지 않는다. $H_\infty$ 필터는 최소상계(Upper Bound Least)를 적용하여 추정된 모든 신호들로부터 최소 에러 신호를 갖는 최상의 추정신호를 찾아내므로 칼만/위너 필터보다 잡음의 변화에 강인하다. 본 논문에서는 학습 신호로부터 은닉 마코프 모델의 파리미터를 추정한 후, 오염된 신호를 고정된 개수의 $H_\infty$ 필터를 통과시켜 각 출력에 가중된 합으로 향상된 음성 신호를 구한다. 음성의 통계적 특성을 이용하여 모델 파라미터를 추정하는 은닉 마코프 모델과 잡음의 변화에 강인한 $H_\infty$ 알고리즘을 사용해서, 다중 $H_\infty$필터에 의한 강인한 음성향상 방법을 제안하였다.

  • 이 논문에서는 이산형 상태공간 모델에 대한 $H_2$, $H_{\infty}$, 및 혼합 $H_{\infty}$ FIR 필터를 선형행렬부등식(LMI)를 이용하여 제안한다. 제안되는 필터는 FIR 구조로서 $H_2$$H_{\infty}$ 관점에서의 성능기준을 만족함과 더불어 선형성 및 불편향성의 특성을 지니고, 초기 상태에 관한 정보를 필요로 하지 않는다. 그리고 FIR 구조로 인해 기존의 FIR 형태의 필터에 비해 불확실성에 대해 보다 견실하며 빠른 수렴성을 갖는다. 모의 실험을 통해 이러한 장점을 예시한다.
