Influence Analysis of Deep Excavation on the Nearby Undercrossing Road by Centrifuge Model Test

  • An excavation with the depth of 32.7m will be constructed as a ventilation shaft in Shanghai metro Line 9. The excavation induced effect on a nearby undercrossing road in operation must be properly evaluated. A centrifuge model test was conducted to study the impact of deep excavation on this existing undercrossing. Detail simulation works are described in this paper. The excavation steps could be simulated in the no-stop state of centrifuge machine. And induced settlements of the undercrossing road in both parallel and vertical directions were analyzed. Protective partition cement soil piles were also simulated in the tests. Simulation test shows deep excavation has a great influence on undercrossing road and the partition pile can obviously deduce the influence.

교통소통 정보기반 신호교차로 운영평가를 위한 혼잡강도 지표 임계값 연구 (Study on threshold values of a intensity-of-congestion measure for operations evaluation at signalized intersections based on traffic flow information)

  • PURPOSES : In this study, analyze the characteristics of IOC indicator 'threshold' which is needed when evaluating the traffic signal operation status with ESPRESSO in various grade road traffic environment of Seoul metropolitan city and derive suggested value to use in field practice. METHODS : Using the computerized database program (Postgresql), we extracted data with regional characteristics (Arterial, Collector road) and temporal characteristics (peak hour, non-peak hour). Analysis of variance and Duncan's validation were performed using statistical analysis program (SPSS) to confirm whether the extracted data contains statistical significance. RESULTS : The analysis period of the main and secondary arterial roads was confirmed to be suitable from 14 days to 60 days. For the arterial, it is suggested to use 20 km/h as the critical speed for PM peak hour and weekly non peak hour. It is suggested to use 25 km/h as the critical speed for AM peak hour and night non peak hour. As for the collector road, it is suggested to use 20 km/h as the critical speed for PM peak hour and weekly non peak hour. It is suggested to use 30 km/h as the critical speed for AM peak hour and night non peak hour. CONCLUSIONS : It is meaningful from a methodological point of view that it is possible to make a reasonable comparative analysis on the signal intersection pre-post analysis when the signal operation DB is renewed by breaking the existing traffic signal operation evaluation method.

도로건설 현장에서의 드론 운용방안 (Drone Operation Plan at Road Construction Site)

  • Recently, the drone's equipment development and software technology have dramatically improved. With such developments, the applicability is increasing in various fields that require rapid geospatial information, and in practice, regulations and systems have been established, and the fields in use are increasing. Also, in Korea, corporations and public institutions are actually using and researching drones in fields such as aircraft development, communication technology development, construction site use, and surveying. However, there are no fields where drones are actually used in road construction sites. Therefore, in this study, to utilize drones that have been actively used in the civil engineering and construction fields for road construction, we investigated the current status of the Korea Highway Corporation's field drone use research and classified the possibility of drone introduction by road construction. Finally, a method of using drones at road construction sites was proposed to prepare a method for using drones at road construction sites.

스마트 모빌리티를 적용한 제설장비 개발을 위한 사례분석 연구 (A Case Analysis Study on the Development of Snow Removal Equipment Using Smart Mobility)

  • 연구목적: 본 연구는 대설 상황 발생시 신속하고 효율적인 도로 제설을 위해 제설 차량과 장비 등에 정보통신기술과 스마트 모빌리티 기술을 활용한 사례들을 찾아보고, 활용방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법: 국내 및 해외 제설작업 방법에 대한 사례를 조사하고 신 기술을 접목한 제설운영방법을 제시한다. 연구결과: 우리나라 제설장비 운영은 GPS와 CCTV, 도로교통 정보시스템을 활용한 방법이 대부분이며 해외의 경우 도로기상 정보시스템과 도로제설모니터링 시스템을 활용한다. 향후 스마트모빌리티인 자율주행 제설차량을 활용한 제설기술이 개발 될 것을 기대한다. 결론: 본 연구의 결과는 지자체 및 관련 기관의 제설 장비와 제설 차량 활용 정책에 기여할 수 있다.

평균이동분할과 연결요소를 이용한 도로추출 알고리즘 (A Road Extraction Algorithm using Mean-Shift Segmentation and Connected-Component)

  • 본 논문은 평균이동방법과 연결요소방법을 이용하여 도로 영역을 추출하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 평균 이동 방법은 중심 모드를 찾기 위한 비모수적 통계 방법으로 컬러 영상을 분할하는데 효율적이다. 일반적으로, 영상의 중 하단에 위치하는 정보를 활용하여 도로의 특징점이 추출된다. 이 특징점과 분할된 컬러 영상을 이용하면, 도로의 영역을 추출할 수 있다. 그러나, 도로의 위치정보와 색상정보만으로 도로영역을 추출할 경우, 잡음과 도로 이외의 영역까지 추출되는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 모폴로지 열기 닫기 연산을 이용하여 잡음을 제거하고, 연결요소 방법을 통하여 가장 큰 영역의 부분만을 추출하여 도로 영역으로 결정하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 실험을 통하여 잡음 제거와 보다 정확한 도로 검출됨을 검증한다.

노면 종.횡단 요철 자동 측정 시스템 개발 (Development of an Automatic Transverse and Longitudinal Road Profile Measurement System)

  • 도로 노면상태와 관련된 신뢰성 있는 데이터는 도로 유지 및 관리 당국과 운전자에게 도로 노면상태에 대한 정보를 제공하기 위해 그 중요성이 날로 증대하고 있다. 본 논문은 새로운 고속의 자동 노면 데이터 획득장치의 개발에 관한 것이다. 개발된 장치는 100km/h의 주행속도에서 도로노면 청단 전체 폭에 대해 30cm 간격으로 종단 노면 데이터를 수집하고, 수집된 데이터로부터 국제평탄성지수(IRI)를 계산하여 노면요철 데이터와 함께 스크린상에 디스플레이 한다. 이 같은 시스템의 구현을 위해 광학적 거리측정기, 계측차량의 진행거리 및 움직임 계측기, 데이터 처리 및 디스플레이 모듈을 고안하였다. 70km/h의 주행 속도로 측정한 결과, 개발된 시스템의 측정 정확도는 표준 노면에 대해 IRI에서 ${\pm}0.1m/km$ 정도의 오차를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 개발된 장비의 성능을 검증하기 위해 이미 포설된 노면에 대한 측정을 수행하여 기존 장비 및 육안 측정 결과와 비교하였다.

비포장 노면의 가혹도 관리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Severity Control of Unpaved Test Courses)

  • The vibration environment essentially companied by vehicle operation on the road is determined by the shape of road surface, which is called profile. In general, the profile and severity of unpaved road is an important issue in the reliability of durability test for vehicles. In order to maintain severity of unpaved road, it is necessary to develop profilometer system. We developed profilometer system which is composed of data processing computer, power unit, air compressor and sensors. This paper focuses on the severity management of unpaved test courses using neural networks. This paper presents the maintenance range for cross-country course in CPG(Chang-won Proving Ground) and the evaluation of similarity degree between unpaved roads.

CTIS를 장착한 대형차량의 동역학 해석 모델 (Full Vehicle Model for Dynamic Analysis of a Large Vehicle with CTIS)

  • Appropriate vibration model is required to predict in advance the vibration level of a large vehicle which carries sensitive electronic/mechanical equipments and drives often on the unpaved and/or off-road conditions. Central tire inflation system(CTIS) is recently adopted to improve the mobile operation of military and bulletproof vehicles. In this paper, full vehicle model(FVM) having 11 degrees of freedom and equipped with CTIS has been developed for a large vehicle which has $8\times8$ wheels$\times$driving wheels. Usability of the developed model is validated via road tests for three different modes (i.e. highway, country, and mud/sand/snow modes) and for various velocity conditions. The developed FVM can be used to predict the vibration level of the large vehicle as well as to determine the driving velocity criterion for different road conditions.

고속도로 노면 청소에 따른 강우시 유출오염부하 저감 효과 분석 (Effect of Road Sweeping on the Abatement of Runoff Pollution Loads from in the Highway)

  • In this study, to evaluate the abatement of runoff pollution loads by the road sweeping(cleaning), various investigations are implemented at the sample area of the highway. As the results of evaluating the removal efficiency of pollutants along road cleaning, TSS showed about 78 % of the removal efficiency and COD showed 49 % of removal efficiency through the operation of cleaning vehicle of vacuum suction method. In case of TN and TP, they showed the relatively-lower removal efficiency by 30~35 %. TSS removal efficiency along the number of cleaning appeared about 60 % in case of one time of cleaning and the additional removal effect did not appear though the number of cleaning increased to two times. With running speed of cleaning vehicle, TSS removal ratio is lessened from 60 % to 20 % when cleaning vehicle speed up to 20 km/hr from 6 km/hr. It seems that the reasons why the removal efficiencies are inversely proportional to its speed are related to the lower vacuum efficiencies and the disturbed particles on the road. In the pollutant build-up analysis, it is showed that it takes more time to the critical pollutant build-up in the shoulder than the center of the road. It is also showed that the proper cleaning cycle is recommended as 4~6 dry weather days without rainfall events.
