군인가족(배우자) 취업 지원 (Job-seeking Support for Military spouses)

  • 지금까지 군인가족(배우자) 복지를 주제로 한 연구는 주로 소극적 복지차원에서 군인아파트 개선, 별거가족 치료 및 심리안정, 복지시설 개선 등에 한정됨으로써 군인가족의 취업지원 등과 같은 적극적인 지원 정책과 노력은 미흡하였다. 군인가족에 대한 최고의 복지는 수혜적 복지가 아니라 취업을 통한 능동적인 복지라 할 수 있다. 때문에 군인가족의 취업 확대를 위해서는 잦은 이사, 별거, 격오지 거주 등 열악한 취업 환경에 처해 있는 군인가족의 취업제약 요인들을 극복하기 위한 방안이 강구되어야 한다. 또한 군인가족 복지에 대한 인식의 전환, 군인가족에 대한 제대군인 취업지원 프로그램 확대 적용의 법제화, 지자체 및 관련 기관과의 협업을 통한 취업기회 확대, 국방개혁과 연계한 군인가족 유망 일자리 창출 등과 같은 적극적인 정책이 추진되어야 한다. 이를 위해 이 글은 정부기관 및 지방자치단체, 군부대의 협업 노력을 강조하고 있다.

농촌지도공무원(農村指導公務員)의 전문성(專門性) 향상(向上) 방안(方案) (Directions for Professional Development of Agricultural Extension Educators in Korea)

  • Agricultural extension programs in Korea had focused mainly on increased production, and the biggest pride of extension was the achievement of rice self-sufficency in 1970s and abundant vegetable and animal production in 1980s. Farming in Korea has changed rapidly in recent years and extension system on commercialized crops have not been satisfactorily developed to mete farmers` demands. Facing the emerging challenges of international competition and trade liberalization for agricultural commodities, the goals of extension should be focused on increased income and the welfare of coral communities. The transfering of agricultural extension educator from central government jobs to local ones has emerged recently under the trends of localization which resulted unstable job environment of extension educator. Intensive pre-service and in-service training of extension workers on current and advanced techologies are essential to upgrade the quality of extension services, and the future directions for professional development of agricultural extension educators in Korea were suggested as follows: 1. Establishing a national network on agricultural extension system to promote exchanges of information among counties and provinces, to conduct meetings and to publish information on agricultural extension. 2. Determining the implications of recent national and global trends on agricultural extension, and strenthening communication at local, national and international levels for an effective extension system in the era of localization, internationalization and globalization; 3. Recognizing the effect of number and quality of extension staff on the impact of extension and providing opportunities development and advancement of extension personnel through education, training, incentives and rewards; 4. Giving a higher priority to agricultural extension in national policies in order to ensure the adequacy of budgetary support and recognition of importance of extension by the ministries concerned and mass communications.

생활폐기물 재활용 활성화 방안: 재활용품 현금보상시스템을 중심으로 (A Study on the Measure to Encourage Household Waste Recycling: Focused on the Cashback System for Recyclables)

  • 전 세계적으로 재활용에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있는 가운데, 각 가정의 분리배출 노력에도 불구하고 폐기물의 양은 점점 늘어나고 있으며, 생활폐기물 재활용에 관한 정확한 데이터는 찾기 어려운 실정이다. 또한 재활용품 분리수거는 이미 우리 일상에 정착되었지만 수거된 재활용품중 상당량이 다시 폐기물화 되는 심각한 문제에 직면하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 생활폐기물 재활용 활성화 방안으로, 재활용품을 깨끗이 씻어 배출하면 현금을 지급하는 재활용품 현금보상시스템을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 현금보상시스템은 배출된 재활용품을 100%재활용하여 개인에게는 공익적 행위에 대한 보상을, 기업에는 더 많은 수익을 그리고 지자체에는 폐기물 감소로 인한 처리비용 절감효과를 가져올 수 있다. 더불어 생활폐기물 재활용관련 데이터를 확보할 수 있어 향후 국가차원의 재활용품 관리에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Partially Observable Markov Decision Processes (POMDPs) and Wireless Body Area Networks (WBAN): A Survey

  • Wireless body area network (WBAN) is a promising candidate for future health monitoring system. Nevertheless, the path to mature solutions is still facing a lot of challenges that need to be overcome. Energy efficient scheduling is one of these challenges given the scarcity of available energy of biosensors and the lack of portability. Therefore, researchers from academia, industry and health sectors are working together to realize practical solutions for these challenges. The main difficulty in WBAN is the uncertainty in the state of the monitored system. Intelligent learning approaches such as a Markov Decision Process (MDP) were proposed to tackle this issue. A Markov Decision Process (MDP) is a form of Markov Chain in which the transition matrix depends on the action taken by the decision maker (agent) at each time step. The agent receives a reward, which depends on the action and the state. The goal is to find a function, called a policy, which specifies which action to take in each state, so as to maximize some utility functions (e.g., the mean or expected discounted sum) of the sequence of rewards. A partially Observable Markov Decision Processes (POMDP) is a generalization of Markov decision processes that allows for the incomplete information regarding the state of the system. In this case, the state is not visible to the agent. This has many applications in operations research and artificial intelligence. Due to incomplete knowledge of the system, this uncertainty makes formulating and solving POMDP models mathematically complex and computationally expensive. Limited progress has been made in terms of applying POMPD to real applications. In this paper, we surveyed the existing methods and algorithms for solving POMDP in the general domain and in particular in Wireless body area network (WBAN). In addition, the papers discussed recent real implementation of POMDP on practical problems of WBAN. We believe that this work will provide valuable insights for the newcomers who would like to pursue related research in the domain of WBAN.

온-오프라인 채널에서 운영하는 고객보상프로그램의 보상채널과 보상시점에 따른 효과 분석 -백화점과 온라인 종합몰을 중심으로- (The Effect of Reward Channel and Reward Time of Customer Loyalty Programs for On-offline Channels -Focusing on Department Stores and Online Shopping Stores-)

  • The study examined the main effect of the reward channel and reward time of customer loyalty programs for on-offline shopping channels; in addition, it investigated the interaction effect of the reward channels and merchandise as well as the interaction effect of the reward time and merchandise. An online apparel shopping web experiment was conducted with a 2 (reward channel: online channel reward vs. offline channel reward) ${\times}2$ (reward time: immediate vs. delayed) ${\times}2$ (merchandise: online channel product vs. offline channel products) between-subject factorial design. An online shopping channel was considered the core-shopping channel and a department store was considered the cross-shopping channel. Loyalty program value, core-channel loyalty and cross-channel loyalty were measured as dependent variables. A total of 845 shoppers (who had experiences in shopping in both channels) participated in the experiment. The results of the study revealed (1) the main effect of the reward channel on loyalty program value, core-channel loyalty and cross-channel loyalty [online>offline channel rewards], (2) the main effect of reward time on loyalty program value, core-channel loyalty and cross-channel loyalty [immediate>delayed reward], and (3) the interaction effect of the reward channel and merchandise on loyalty program value, core-channel loyalty, and cross-channel loyalty. (4) Finally the study found that loyalty program value affected cross-channel loyalty indirectly through core-channel loyalty. This study suggested diverse theoretical and managerial implications for multi-channel retailers.

ICT를 활용한 프로젝트기반학습 연수 참여 교사들의 활용 실태 및 촉진 환경 조건 분석 (An Analysis of ICT Implementation and Environmental Conditions after a Teacher Training for Project-Based Learning with ICT)

  • 본 연구는 초 중등학교 교사들이 ICT를 활용한 프로젝트기반학습(Project-Based Learning) 연수를 참여한 후 수업에 ICT를 어떤 방식으로 어느 정도 활용하는지와 이 과정에서 ICT 활용을 촉진하는 환경 조건들에 대한 교사들의 인식을 조사하였다. 연구 걸과에 따르면 연수 후 수업에서 프로젝트기반학습의 수업 적용도와 수업 진행을 위한 준비 활동에 대한 변화가 있었으며, ICT활용 수업을 하지 못한 교사들의 경우, 적용을 못하는 가장 큰 이유는 수업 계획 및 준비를 위한 시간의 부족이었다. ICT의 활용을 촉진하는 환경 조건들에 대해서 교사들은 현 상태를 불편하게 인식하고 있지 않으며 시간과 보상을 주요 부족 요인으로 인식하였고, 정보통신기술 활용 교육을 위한 지식과 기능, 하드웨어, 소프트웨어, 그리고 휴먼웨어(자원), 참여의식, 제도적, 행정적, 인력 뒷받침(위임), 지도력에 대해서는 어느 정도 갖추어져 있다고 응답했다.

한국 패션 디자인 진흥 정책이 신진 패션 디자이너의 브랜드 운영에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Korean fashion design incubation policies on new fashion designer's brand management)

  • With the increased importance of design creativity in global fashion marketplaces, there have arisen numerous promotional strategies for new fashion designers in Korea, yet little research has been done on this subject. This study examines the new fashion design promotion policies in Korea and their effects from the designer's perspective. First, we analyzed the contents of twenty-one strategies from thirteen organizations regarding the types of support from the strategies. As a result, four distinct types are identified: new designer recognition; information and consulting support; brand incubating; and marketing support. Next, we performed in-depth one-on-one interviews with eleven designers who had been awarded from one or more of the fashion design incubation policies. The results reveal that the incubating policies' cash rewards and space support are found to be most effective. In terms of the revised fashion and brand consulting policy, "brand operation" had an influence. In addition, fashion the new brand advertisement and marketing policy had positively influenced the "brand development." However, throughout the interview, designers note that the quality of education and information provisions need some improvement. Furthermore, the designers indicate the lack of supervision and professionalism from the marketing departments. Based on this content, this study emphasizes the necessity of an effective fashion design promotion policy, and strategic and consistent support for the whole fashion promotion team. At the minimum, an integrated and united supervision by the organization is necessary and should be taken into consideration.

대학도서관의 주제전문사서제 운영방안 연구 - 3개 대학도서관의 서비스 사례 분석을 중심으로 - (A Study on Operational Plan of Subject Specialist Librarian at Academic Libraries : Focus on Case Analysis of Three Academic Libraries)

  • 대학이 학문적 주제를 기반으로 하기 때문에 대학도서관의 서비스도 주제를 기초로 이루어지는 것이 바람직하다. 이에 따라, 최근 몇몇 대학도서관을 중심으로 주제전문사서제가 도입되고 적용 사례가 소개되고 있지만, 제공서비스에 대한 충분한 장 단점 분석과 도입에 따른 방향성이 점검되고 있지는 못한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 주제전문사서제를 도입한 3개 대학도서관에 대한 사례 분석을 통해 적용을 위한 선결과제와 효과적인 운영방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 분석결과, 주제전문사서제를 도입한 3개 대학도서관은 역할, 인사, 평가 등에서 도입초기에 따른 다양한 문제를 보이고 있는 것으로 나타나 향후 이에 대한 보완이 시급한 것으로 조사되었다. 또한, 주제전문사서제의 도입을 위해서는 도서관내부의 합의과정과 교내 구성원에 대한 홍보가 필수적이며, 지속적인 주제전문사서 충원 및 평가, 보상체계의 마련과 함께, 장기적으로는 서비스의 지속성과 효과를 담보할 수 있는 주제전문사서 및 서비스 제공대학 간 협력체계가 필요한 것으로 조사되었다.

댄스게임에 내재된 학습과 재미요소 분석 (Analysis of Learning and Fun Elements Inherent in Dance Game)

  • 본 연구는 댄스게임에 내재된 유익한 가치를 살펴봄으로써 학습과 재미의 양상을 살펴보고자 하였다. 댄스센트럴2의 분석은 게임행위를 통한 교육적 의미를 고찰하는 데에 댄스게임이 가질 수 있는 교육적 기능에 초점을 두었다. 따라서 댄스게임을 통해 학습효과를 창출할 수 있는 요소와 몰입을 통해 지속적이고 자발적으로 참여할 수 있는 재미요소로 살펴보았다. 학습요소에는 신체적, 인지적, 정서적 측면에서 재미요소는 그래픽, 사운드, 동영상, 보상, 목표설정 및 난이도, 제어로 분석하였다. 댄스센트럴2의 연습 공연모드를 잘 활용한다면 플레이어의 댄스실력을 향상시킬 수 있는 요소가 내재되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 물론 댄스게임은 플레이어의 목표와 목적에 따라 게임 참여행태와 효과측면에 차이가 발생할 수 있다. 따라서 참여자의 실력과 의지 그리고 댄스게임의 활용이 지속될 때 댄스게임의 학습향상이 이루어질 수 있을 것이다.

물리치료사의 직무관련 근골격계 통증과 직무 스트레스 (Work-Related Musculoskeletal Pain and Job Stress in Physical Therapists)

  • This study investigated the relationships between Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs), contributing factors, and the occupational stress of physical therapists. Self-reported questionnaires were given to 180 physical therapists in Gangwon Province. Variables examined included the prevalence of pain sites related to WMSDs; pain intensity; pain pattern; and job stress, which is thought to involve the physical environment; job demand; insufficient job control; interpersonal conflict; job insecurity; organizational system; reward system; and occupational culture. Among physical therapists, work-related musculoskeletal pain commonly affected the low back (30.1%), shoulder (29.3%), and wrist (12.2%). The sites of work-related musculoskeletal pain treated medically were the low back (22.8%), shoulder (19.8%), neck (12.7%), and wrist (12.1%). "Repeating the same work constantly" was suggested to be the major cause of the pain. The younger therapists were significantly more likely to feel high job stress due to the physical environment (p<.05), job demand (p<.05), and organizational system (p<.01). Women were more likely to feel greater job stress related to job demand, insufficient job control, the organization system, and job rewards. Men were more likely to feel greater job stress related to job insecurity. Weak positive relationships were observed between work-related musculoskeletal pain and job stress, which is thought to involve the physical environment; job demand; insufficient job control; interpersonal conflict; job insecurity; organizational system; reward system; and occupational culture. Physical therapists appear to be at higher risk of WMSDs because 80.1% of the physical therapists studied experienced work-related musculoskeletal pain. To reduce the risk, we need intervention strategies such as preventive education, ergonomically designed medical equipment, a psychosocial approach to work conditions, improved mechanical conditions related to therapeutic patterns, and an institutional infrastructure with sufficient personnel and scheduling.
