This writing is for the purpose of investigating the specific character and problem point of China arbitration system which has near 90 years history and overviewing the drift of system improvement which happens recently. The arbitration system of China which traditionally does not acknowledge ad hoc arbitration, unlike most of the other nations that employ The UNCITRAL model law and make it their own legislation, is restrictive to the parties concerned principle of private autonomy considerably. Also the independence of arbitration is delicate, because of a civil characteristic weakness of the arbitral institutions and the intervention of the courts on the arbitration procedure and award. The dual system of domestic and international arbitration which maintains after enforcement of 1994 arbitration law is often to be a primary factor interrupting the development of Chinese arbitration system and making it vulnerable to challenges. The system improvement demand of the recent time reflects this point and makes the arbitration system of China to a international standard rather than now, so it is a desirable direction for China to be as the member of the world economy to be globalization.

The purpose of this study is to review the use of a new standard impactor, the impact ball, in evaluating heavy-weight impact noises in reinforced concrete structures. A survey revealed that children running and jumping are the major heavy-weight impact sources in multi-story residential buildings. The noise from the impact ball was measured and psychoacoustically assessed. The relationship between the noise levels and the subjective responses was also investigated. Results showed that the noise from the impact ball is similar to the noise of children running and jumping. It was also found that the noise level of the impact ball is slightly higher than the noise level of a bang machine, although the impact ball has a lower impact force.

KTX is going to directly operate on the existing plate girder bridges before the complete construction of new high-speed line. Also the speed and traffic volume is increased after electrification of conventional line. Then, it is necessary to check the dynamic behaviors of these bridges. Therefore, this paper reviews the dynamic behaviors of welded plate girder bridges designed by L-22, a standard load type of KNR. The span lengths of plate girder analyzed here are 6.6m, 9.7m, 12.9m, 16.0m, 19.2m, 22.3m, 25.4m and 31.1m. Using 2-D dynamic analysis, vertical deflection ratios of plate girder and maximum accelerations of car body are calculated. And the analytical results are compared with those of design criteria.

The purpose of this study is to develop an efficient algorithm for the management of the shift schedule in nuclear power plants in consideration with the ergonomic criteria and the regulatory codes. The ergonomic criteria considered are the work hours, overtime-work frequency and working time, start and finishing time of works, allocation of rest times and duty-offs, rotating of shifts, etc. to comply with the regulations such as the Labor Standard Act, the ILO Convention No. 171, 178, "the detailed content of a periodic safety review," enforcement regulations 19-2 of the Atomic Energy Act. The developed algorithm for the shift schedule program adopts a heuristic method to minimize the difference the workload for shift workers in nuclear power plants.

This paper presents the research on the development of Generic modeling system as a 3D CAD customizing system for the elevator design. This system enables to create a generic model which gives birth to many models. The generic model is expressed as a non-scale model or a standard model in this paper. Using the parametric design techniques, all their relationships are explicitly represented in the tables, not represented in implicit embedded coding. Owing to this method, designers can easily extend the generic model to contain more model families. All parametric relations are stored in relational database. A designer can retrieve various models from a generic model automatically, by using some key input values.

Purpose: To evaluate the emergency medical protocols and need assessment through the case report Method: The study investigated the emergency call system through the 1339 emergency patients information center in 1997. Results: The emergency calls tend to follow general trends of the type of cases : abdominal pain (13.5%), unconsciousness(12.0%), traffic accidents (7.4%), bleeding (6.6%), respiration difficulty (5.9%). This was all collected through emergency medical protocols injury and poisoning (22.3%), symptom (51.6%), others (26.1%). Conclusion: The results suggest that a specific training program for emergency medical dispatchers should be established, and emergency medical dispatcher managers must review the cases on the basis of emergency medical protocols every year. Emergency medical services, furthermore, will continue to raise the standard for emergency medical dispatching.

TMJ reconstruction is one of the most challenging surgical treatment, and many methods using autogenous and alloplastic materials have been reported for making neocondyle. Although alloplastic materials which include aclylic, synthetic and total joint system are recently widely used, many surgeons agree that autogenous TMJ reconstruction is gold standard until now. In this article, classification of the TMJ defects and the various TMJ reconstruction methods using autogenous source were introduced with review of literature.

The Swyer-James syndrome is a relatively uncommon disease entity presented with unilateral hyperlucent lung due to hypoplasia of a pulmonary artery and bronchiectasis of the affected lung. The main finding is a hyperlucent lung with small hilar shadows on the chest X-ray. Pulmonary angiography is the standard method for diagnosis. We report a case of the Swyer-James syndrome with a brief review of literature.

The subject is to find green roofs' location as stepping stones in green-network in fine scale. The study site is Junggu, Seoul, which has core areas(Bukaksan and Namsan) and green areas(parks, etc.). Through literature review, the closer to core areas and green areas, target species reach green roof easier, and target species must be avifauna(flying species) and high class in food chain, because of possibility of reaching. So, Great Tits, inhabited in Namsan and urban bird, is target species. The location standard of green roofs, realized birds' reaching distance, consists of home range(horizontal range and vertical range) and roof-greening capable area. The green roofs' distribution of location was resulted through GIS analysis of feasible site finding, and classified with weight of score. In discussion, Namsan gives more effect to locate green roofs than Bukaksan does and selected buildings which are grouped in some parts need to be managed with group, green roof district.

The importance of a science park as an instrument of economic development has been realized by developed economies for past three decades. To comprehend the same, developing economies are also planning and implementing science park ventures. However, in terms of planning, science parks are not objects of global consensus because unlike hotel and restaurant chains, which could be planned with similar standards in different regions or countries, there is no single global standard that can be best-fit for science parks. To meet the need for a better understanding of planning, this research studied science parks in developed and developing economies to identify factors that are globally used in this context. This research also extends our knowledge of best practices for growth, governance and sustainability in science parks, and highlights future trends and external factors that may contribute significantly during planning.
