  • With supplied computers and the development of information and communication thropugh the Internet, the space of personal home pages in potal sites has been filled with photos taken by digital cameras, and 'the introduction of privacy' done in the personal home pages has become a general trend in society. As the use of Photoshop, available to edit and modify digital photos, in this social atmosphere, has grown general, they have shown their interest in the retouching technique of Photoshop. Computer graphics, marked based on the treatment of a variety of information into pictures or a technology to mark it, recently various application methods have been found in make-up. Especially, Adobe Photoshop, used to edit and modify images, is a sofetware program proper to perform beauty make-up in correcting and creating images in an effective way. The purpose of this study is to express each factor in Adobe Photoshop CS2 about the beauty make-up. As a result, I can say, the process that digital image is retouched by Adobe Photoshop CS is similar work to beauty make-up. The process of Photoshop retouching can be used as the materials for educating of make-up and as the materials for presentation of beauty make-up trend. And also we can serve the simulation to the customer before real make-up. Therefore, this study is for the effective performance of diverse beauty makeup integrating retouch technique with Photoshop CS.

  • In the last decade, digital image processing technics have been rapidly developed according to the advancement of electronic technique, and total scanner and DTP system were developed. Specially, there is need to retouch the color and image on the CRT. In this paper, we described a method to display surface color of printing on the CRT, and an algorithm to simulate the color reproduction by offset printing. The experimental results show that the described method and algorithm are useful and valid on the computer simulation of the multi-color printing adapted process ink characteristics.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the social and cultural background of hand-knitting things with handcraft feeling which is appeared conspicuously after 2000. And to analyze the types and characteristics of hand-knit design. The resorts of this study is as follows: First, it is found that the pattern of stitch in their forms and ornament technique of handcraft feeling are the remarkable factors to decide the specific designs in the most of hand-knit designs. The major forms are plain stitch, rib stitch, cable stitch, lace stitch, relief stitch and pile stitch and the ornament techniques such as patch work, fringe, embroidery and collage are being widely used. Second, after 2000, due to peoples' preference for handcraft feeling manufactures, pursuit trend of artless luxury by retouch appeared, it made feeling for recurrence of the past and the warm humanity. In addition, the pro-eco trend using pro-environment materials and capturing the nature as images are on its way to advance. Through the mix & match of materials, details and items, it becomes possible to express many kinds of images. Thanks to those characteristics, the hand-knit designs are now acknowledged as luxurious with the couture sense attached and are shaking off their previous image of recycling.

  • As the major source of information, digital images play an indispensable role in our lives. However, with the development of image processing techniques, people can optionally retouch or even forge an image by using image processing software. Therefore, the authenticity and integrity of digital images are facing severe challenge. To resolve this issue, the fragile watermarking schemes for image authentication have been proposed. According to different purposes, the fragile watermarking can be divided into two categories: fragile watermarking for tamper localization and fragile watermarking with recovery ability. The fragile watermarking for image tamper localization can only identify and locate the tampered regions, but it cannot further restore the modified regions. In some cases, image recovery for tampered regions is very essential. Generally, the fragile watermarking for image authentication and recovery includes three procedures: watermark generation and embedding, tamper localization, and image self-recovery. In this article, we make a review on self-embedding fragile watermarking methods. The basic model and the evaluation indexes of this watermarking scheme are presented in this paper. Some related works proposed in recent years and their advantages and disadvantages are described in detail to help the future research in this field. Based on the analysis, we give the future research prospects and suggestions in the end.

  • Shop drawing tasks conducted after finishing coordinated or engineering design have great influences on the quality and cost of a project. However, despite the development of commercial BIM applications, shop drawings have mainly produced manually in certain engineering fields. Incorrect shop drawings with human errors have occurred various problems such as cost overrun, time delay and reworks. An automated shop drawing publishing from BIM is expected to resolve these problems. Despite attempts for automate shop drawing production, the field of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) is yet regarded challenging due to complexity of components and connection. In this research, we develop a process for automated producing 3D MEP shop drawings in BIM environment as following steps: to analyze conventional MEP shop drawing process, to identify detailed process that can be automated, to classify existing MEP objects and assign codes usable in BIM, and to develop an application. The validation of automated process is conducted against 10 clean room projects in which MEP is more complex and its cost is higher than other projects in terms of productivity and workers' satisfaction. Results show that the number of manpower for shop drawing is reduced by 30%, and the working time is shortened by 31%. Personal opinions of involved practitioners is interpreted as positive as the average rate of agrement on practicability, easy-to-use and necessary retouch tasks is around 66%.

  • The purpose of this research is to show how to use the patternist's CAD system in order to make design patterns efficiantly. Using the PAD System Technologies company's PAD System Module, which is very officiant in designing patterns, the basic pattern or design pattern can be designed and applyed to the Sample Module, thus, then it could manufacture, retouch or choose a model, making it posible to go to the next level which is seam patterns for industrial use. By understanding the change of the design that is chosen through the design pattern making and Sample Module process', this study is presentated a plan on how to utilize the patternist's working adaption ability by the CAD system, and also considered the problems in using it. Ability of Design Confrontation of CAD System: 1) The result of an operation can be saved and retouched. On a saved list the patterns can be chosen and changed, thus, making it posible to complete a design very quickly. 2) When sewing every designed pattern in Sample Module, the model can be operated merely by selecting each sewing position, thus creating the same effect of a designer's muslin sample process in a much lesser time. Point at issue in the utilization CAD system: 1) When combining two darts into one place the amounts of darts that are already these have to be erasers, and then, the two darts points are moved that place, thus, containing them, which is very conplicated. 2) When making a gathering, because system can only be recognized in a opend line, the pattern should be separated in order to put a gathering inside a pattern. 3) In order to readjust the amounte of dart. The dart is erased first and then made new dart again. 4) When making tucks in a Sample Module, the form that gets narrow towards the pivot point can not be recognized so the sewing lines of the tucks is adjusted into parallel lines. 5) The Sample Module 3D operation can not attach the bodice to the shirts, instead they become fixed into each other. In the case of shoulder line tucks the amounts of pleats can not be expanded draperary naturally, thus, making it hard to showing the silhouette accurately. If these problems are solved, especially if the silhouette of a model can be created to have natural drapery in the 3D Module, models can be shown on the screen in possible to compare and examine even a change of a detail, by designing this 3D Module Production sample process will be more effective, thus, making the CAD system more useful in sewing design process.
