Responsible tourism has become an established area of the tourism industry. This study aims to identify the factors that influence re-participation in responsible tourism in rural Korea. On-site survey was conducted on 436 tourists by seven responsible tourism agencies in Korea. The motivation for responsible tourists was categorized into seven types: family togetherness, escape and relaxation, personal growth, social interaction, various experiences, learning, and natural experience. The estimation of a binary logistic regression model determined the characteristics of responsible tourists who are most likely to opt for re-participation in responsible tourism. Results indicated that important factors for re-participation in responsible tourism were 'age', 'educational level', 'accompany', 'length of stay', and 'motivation'. The results implied that tourists' internal and external factors are important for re-participation in responsible tourism. It is expected that this study will contribute to the market expansion of responsible tourism.

Since the Discussion on responsible tourism sector began in the 1980s, the interest in responsible tourism has increased. Responsible tourism aims to preserve the local culture and environment, and make the benefits return benefits to local stakeholders. This study aims to obtain an empirical understanding of the responsible tourism market by using a segmentation approach to provide better information for responsible tourism marketers in Korea. A self-administered survey was obtained from 471 tourists in seven responsible tourism sites. As for the motivations of responsible tourism, seven factors ('faimly togetherness', 'escape relaxation', 'personal growth', 'social interaction', 'various experience', 'learning' and 'natural experience') were extracted. Six distinct segments were identified based on the motivation: escape from daily life relaxation seekers (19.15%), overall low motivation (7.8%), family togetherness seekers (21.18%). various experience seekers (12.77%), noverlty learning seekers (22.46%) and want-it-all (16.55%). Socio-demographic characteristics and tourism behaviors of each segmentation were also analyzed. The findings should be of interest to practitioners of responsible tourism marketing and operation.

Responsible tourism attracting worldwide attention has supported local economy and community development as a type of alternative tourism. This study explored the perception toward fairness in tourism and operation status of responsible tour operators in South Korea by conducting in-depth interviews with probe questions. Ten responsible tour operators were interviewed with a semi-structured interview questionnaire for one upto two hours. From the interview data, six themes were identified as difficulties of responsible tour operators: lack of manpower, advertising and promotion, absence of marketing strategy, regulation, lack of budget and lack of recognition of responsible tourism. As government support identified through the interviews, there are the followings seven themes: a low entry barrier market, investment in human resources, resource utilization, community-based policies, connection with local produce, community support and connection system of responsible travel agencies with intermediate support organizations at a local level, The findings of this paper implicate the underlying subject of responsible tourism from a tour operators' perspective.

This study examines the structural relationships between service quality, satisfaction, and behavioral intentions in responsible tourism. In particular, the study focuses on moderating effects of age. Data were collected from 471 tourists from seven responsible tourism agencies. SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used for frequency, reliability, exploratory factor, confirmatory factor, and path analyses. The results of a exploratory factor analysis yield two dimensions of service quality (functional quality and technical quality). The results of structural equation modeling indicate that functional quality and technical quality had positive effects on satisfaction, which in turn had a positive effect on behavioral intentions. In addition, age moderated the relationships between service quality, satisfaction, and behavioral intentions such that functional quality had a positive effect on satisfaction in the group of tourists in their twenties and thirties and that functional quality and technical quality were important factors for tourists in their forties. The results are expected to help responsible tourism communities better manage service quality to increase tourist satisfaction.

Purpose: This study aims to examine the implications of aviation tourism by considering practical and ethical issues in order to achieve academic goals for research ethics. Through this, we intend to derive the direction of research ethics in aviation tourism in the future. Research Design, data and methodology: This study examined ethical issues to examine the current status of research ethics in consideration of the goals of aviation tourism and to analyze and explore the status of research ethics, including various research results and researchers. Results: Aviation tourism is focused on the autonomy of research without strict sanctions. There was a perception that there was no monitoring or control of research ethics, and related scholars did not need to discuss research ethics because the establishment of an academic system was a priority. However, it is now responsible for complying with research ethics limited to integrity and leading research ethics education in domestic aviation tourism. Conclusions: Research ethics problems that may arise in aviation tourism research were explored and issues and tasks were derived. Aviation tourism needs to develop into a more responsible research culture, such as redefining research ethics regulations, changing research culture, and raising researchers' ethical awareness

In recent years, UNWTO and academics have called for the development of responsible, sustainable, and universally accessible tourism to promote equal human rights and social inclusion. Prior studies have also revealed the potential and value of smart technologies in reducing, if not removing, barriers to people with access requirements during travel and in their everyday lives. However, a guiding framework of how smart technologies assist in building an accessible destination is still absent, thereby hindering the progress of building accessible tourism. This paper aims to fill this knowledge gap. A conceptual model of smart accessible destination (SAD) was proposed drawing from the intersection of accessible tourism and smart tourism. With the guidance of this conceptual model, tourism destinations and stakeholders can recognize and utilize the synergies of accessible and smart tourism to enhance the social inclusion, competitiveness, and sustainability of a destination.

관광객이 관광지를 선택할 때 안전이 매우 중요한 요인으로 고려되고 있으며 이는 관광 산업에서 안전에 대한 욕구가 매우 높다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 관광산업의 안전을 위한 전문분야가 필요하다. 이미 다양한 관광산업분야에 안전을 책임지는 요원들이 배치되고 있지만 전문적인 교육이 이루어지지 않고 단편적인 업무 경험에 의존한 지식을 통해 이어져 오고 있다. 관광산업의 안전을 책임지는 전문가 양성을 위해서는 관련 학문의 연구가 필수적이며, 연구와 교육을 책임지는 대학에서는 관련 분야의 학문을 체계적으로 구축하여 그에 따른 교육을 통해 전문가를 양성해야 한다. 관광보안을 의미하는 분야로는 Hospitality Security가 있다. Hospitality는 '환대하다', '접대하다', 라는 의미로서 Hospitality Industry는 관광산업을 아우르는 의미로 쓰이고 있다. 또한 Security는 안전, 보안을 의미하는 단어이다. 따라서 그 두 개의 뜻이 합쳐진 Hospitality Security, 즉 우리말로는 환대보안, 관광보안 정도로 말할 수 있겠다. 이미 미국에서는 Hospitality Security 분야의 전문가가 관련 서적을 통해 중요성을 설명하였다. 현재 우리나라에는 관광관련 유명대학에서 이미 Hospitality분야의 교과목을 운영하고 있으며, Security분야도 여러 대학에서 교과목을 운영하고 있다. 이에 본 연구자는 각각의 대학에서 운영하는 교과목을 수집하고 분석하여 Hospitality Security의 교과목을 선정하였다. Hospitality Security분야의 지속적인 연구를 통한 연구결과가 축적이 된다면 학문으로서의 가치가 더욱 높아질 것이며 그에 따른 전문가들을 배출해 관광산업의 안전을 책임지는 역할을 해낼 수 있을 것이다.

Rural Experiential Tourism is the medium that connect a town and country. Through the form of these Rural Experiential Tourism people live in country sell indigenous products and tourism services. Both people maintain friendly relations with their friendship based on mutual trust. The aim of space planing for experience and development of experience program is make visitors learn many valuable lessons in countryside. So, Two things must discussed closely related. Also it is necessary to mention people to conduct in there. Visitors who live in Gyonggi and Chungcheong province come to frequently Geumgang Nongbau village for a day. They enjoy going for a swimming and fishing in Geumgang. In order to activate specialized experience program, it is necessary to increase the number of those exclusively responsible for that experience program and organization visitors make stay overnight in village. Also to enhancing village people's income must have agricultural stand and activate village internet site.

생태환경을 보존하고 문화관광활동을 촉진하는 방안으로 최근에 대두되고 있는 생태관광은 인류의 지속가능한 발전을 위한 최선의 방안으로 요즈음 연구가 늘어나고 있다. 본 논문은 생태환경과 문화 축제라는 양면의 성격을 가진 "봉화송이축제"참가자를 대상으로 만족도를 조사하여 차후 생태관광을 통한 문화행사 추진으로 지역경제활성화를 위한 방안을 모색하여 보았다.

생태관광은 환경을 보존하고 지역주민의 복지를 유지하는 자연지역으로의 책임 있는 관광이라고 정의할 수 있으며, 지속가능한 관광을 위한 대안관광의 하나로 최근에 들어 생태관광에 대한 연구와 생태관광 활동이 활발해지고 있다. 본 연구는 정교화 가능성 모형(elaboration likelihood model: ELM, Petty and Cacioppo, 1986)이론을 바탕으로 생태관광활동에 참여하는 관광객은 높은 정교화 수준의 고관여 집단으로 이미 친환경 태도를 형성하고 있는 집단이며, 이들의 신념과 태도에 일치하는 생태관광활동 참여는 순환적으로 친환경 태도를 강화할 것으로 가설을 설정하였다. 이를 검증하기 위하여 2010년 9월에 람사르 등록 습지로 우리나라의 대표적인 생태관광지라 할 수 있는 우포늪 습지에서 방문객 183명을 대상으로 실증적으로 생태관광활동에 따른 관광환경태도의 변화를 논의하였다. 생태관광활동 참여 이전과 이후의 관광환경 태도의 변화는 '반환경적 행위동조 요인' > '추억 표상 요인' > '반환경적 일탈 요인'의 순으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 생태관광활동 참여자는 관광활동 중에 생태관광 자원의 본질적 속성에 의한 영향과 다양한 환경교육 및 체험프로그램 등을 제공받음으로써 방문 전에 형성하고 있는 친환경적인 태도를 보다 정교하게 강화하는 것으로 이해할 수 있다. 또한, 본 연구의 조사대상지인 우포늪 생태관광지는 생태관광 개발 및 운영에 있어서 기본적으로 친환경 태도의 형성과 강화의 목적을 달성하고 있다고 평가할 수 있다. 특히, 요인별 변화에서 생태관광활동 참여가 양극단의 환경태도보다는 '반환경적 행위동조'라는 중간적 환경태도 변화에 더 크게 작용하는 것으로 나타났는데, 이는 생태관광활동 참여를 통하여 '반환경적 행위동조'태도를 친환경적으로 완화할 수 있다는 것으로 생태관광의 역할을 확인하는 중요한 결과이다.
