밀배아유 원료 O/W 유화액의 제조 및 안정성평가: CCD-RSM을 이용한 최적화 (Emulsification and Stability of Wheat Germ Oil in Water Emulsions: Optimization using CCD-RSM)

  • 천연 밀배아유와 복합 sugar ester를 이용하여 밀배아유 원료 O/W (oil in water) 유화액을 제조하였다. HLB 값, 유화제의 첨가량 및 유화시간이 O/W wheat germ oil 유화액의 평균 입자크기, 유화점도 및 ESI에 미치는 영향을 조사하였으며, 반응표면분석방법인 중심합성계획모델에 의해 제조된 유화과정의 파라미터를 모의하고 최적화하였다. O/W wheat germ oil 유화액의 제조를 위한 최적의 공정조건은 HLB 값(hydrophile-lipophile balance value)은 8.4, 유화제의 첨가량은 6.4 wt%, 유화시간은 25.4 min이며, 최적조건에서 중심합성계획(central composite design, CCD-RSM) 모델을 통한 예측 반응치는 7일 후의 유화액을 기준으로 MDS (mean droplet size)= 206 nm, 점도 = 8125 cP, ESI 98.2%이었다. 또한 실제 실험을 통해 얻어진 유화액의 MDS, 점도 및 ESI는 각각 209 nm, 7974 cP 및 98.7%로 나타났다. 따라서 중심합성계획 모델을 통해 밀배아유 원료 유화액의 안정성을 평가하는 최적화 과정을 설계할 수 있었다.

마이크로금형 구배각 제어를 위한 절삭가공조건 예측모델에 관한 연구 (A Study On Prediction Model of Cutting Conditions for Draft Angle Control)

  • It is very difficult to determine suitable cutting conditions in order to obtain accurate cutting profiles because machining errors caused by tool deflection depend upon cutting conditions. In this study the relationship between real cutting profiles (inclined shapes and machining errors) and cutting conditions was modeled in order to fabricate draft angle on micro molds. CCD (Central Composite Design) of DOE (Design Of Experiment) and RSM (Response Surface Method) were applied in order to model the relationship between cutting conditions and machining errors. In order to use CCD the range of radial depth of cut was chosen by $10-90{\mu}m$ and the range of feedrate was chosen by 200-300mm/min, and 9 points of cutting conditions were chosen inside determined ranges. Then, actual cutting processes were carried out as respect to 9 points of cutting conditions, draft angles and real cutting profiles were measured on cutting profiles, each response surface function was determined by conducting response surface analysis and the functions were represented by 3-dimensional graphs, contour lines and $101{\times}101$ matrices. Consequently it is possible to determine suitable cutting conditions in order to obtain arbitrary given draft angles and cutting profiles by using modeling. To validate proposed approach in this study suitable cutting conditions were determined by modeling in order to obtain arbitrary given draft angle and cutting profile, and actual cutting processes were carried out. About 95% of good agreement between predicted and measured values was obtained.

  • 본 논문은 GHP 에 사용되고 있는 이중 쉘-튜브형 배기가스 열교환기의 설계 변수의 변화에 따라 열전달 및 마찰특성 변화를 알아보기 위해 CFD 와 RSM 을 이용하여 최적화를 수행하였다. CFD 해석은 복잡한 형상의 열교환기 해석에 유용한 도구이나, 해석결과를 얻기까지 많은 시간이 소요된다. 이러한 해석시간을 줄이고, 유용한 결과를 얻기 위해 RSM 과 병행하여 최적화 설계를 진행하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 이용한 RSM 해석결과, 배플 6 개, 튜브 25 개에서 최적화되었으며, 기존 보다 차압 및 열전달 성능이 약 12.2% 개선되었다. 이러한 CFD 와 RSM 을 이용한 최적화 기법은 다양하고 복잡한 형상의 열교환기 해석에 유용함을 확인하였다.

감성조명 환경 설계를 위한 감성평가 연구 : LED조명을 적용한 사무 공간을 중심으로 (Affective Evaluation for Human-centered Lighting Environment Design : Focused on Office Spaces using LED lighting)

  • LED lightings combined with IT technology can provide variable illumination environments that can be controlled by users according to their emotional need and preferences. This is one of the most beneficial functions compared with conventional lightings offering only fixed color and brightness. There is however lack of analysis data for creating practical lighting solutions satisfying user preferences in a wide range of applications from residential to commercial places. To materialize the technical advantages of user-controllable LED lightings, more observation data are required in various situations. Therefore, dissimilar emotional needs are determined in the present study for compartmental office spaces (staff lounge room, meeting room and desk job place) through subjective experiments by 45 observers. The optimum lighting conditions (CCT and illuminance) are finally obtained using Response Surface Method and relevant prediction functions are also deduced. The final outcome can be applied for making user-preferred office illumination products.

  • 본 논문에서는 15,000 마력급 원심식 압축기 임펠러 블레이드에 대한 단방향 유체-구조 연성해석 및 응답표면법을 이용한 형상최적설계를 제시하였다. 임펠러 블레이드의 형상은 공력 성능에 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라, 유체의 압력과 원심력에 의한 임펠러의 구조적 안전성에도 큰 영향을 미치므로 유체-구조 연성해석을 함께 고려한 형상최적설계가 필요한 분야이다. 본 논문에서 유체-구조 연성해석의 유체영역과 구조영역을 ANSYS CFX와 Mechanical을 사용하여 각각 해석하였다. 실험계획법을 기반으로 유체 및 구조해석 결과에 대한 응답표면을 생성하여 구조적 안전성 및 압축비를 제한조건으로 하고 임펠러의 효율을 최대화하는 임펠러 블레이드의 형상최적설계를 수행하였다.

반응표면법 및 비지배 분류 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 취배수문의 응력 및 변형 최적화 (Optimization of Stress and Deformation of Culvert Gate by using RSM and NSGA-II)

  • A valve is a marine structure that is subjected to multiple seawater loads. Therefore, it is necessary to define the kind of loads applied to it to confirm whether the structure has sufficient strength. In this research, we aimed to find the optimal solution for the stress and deformation of valves under various loads. We first selected design variables and implement a finite element analysis according to changes in the thickness of each component of a valve based on a central composite design. Next we developed a regression model of the response surface. Using this model, we calculated the optimal objective value based on NSGA-II. Finally, to confirm the correspondence between the optimal objective value and the real FEM value, we compared the optimal result and structural analysis result to verify the performance of NSGA-II.

반응표면분석법에 의한 정제어유 미세캡슐화 공정의 최적화 및 미세캡슐 저장안정성 분석 (Optimization of Fish Oil Microencapsulation by Response Surface Methodology and Its Storage Stability)

  • ${\omega}3$계 고도불포화 지방산의 한 종류인 DHA(docosahexaenoic acid, $C_{22:6},\;{\omega}3$)를 함유하는 정제어유를 중심물질로 하고 agar와 waxy corn starch를 피복물질로하여 미세캡슐화 공정을 수행할 때 반응표면분석법(response surface methodology, RSM)을 이용하여 최적 조건을 확립하고자 하였다. 이때 정제어유 미세캡슐화의 수율을 정량화하기 위하여 5% cupric acetatepyridine 용액에 발색정도가 뛰어난 oleic acid를 정제 어유내에 20%(w/w) 농도로 첨가하여 중심물질로 사용하였다. 반응표면분석결과 최적화된 미세캡슐화 조건은 [중심물질, Cm]:[피복물질, Wm]의 비율 =4.9 : 5.1(w/w), 유화제(sorbitan monolaurate, H.L.B. 16.7)의 농도 = 0.48%(w/w), 분산매의 온도 = $19.4^{\circ}C$이었고, 실제 이 조건에서 99.9%의 수율을 보였다. 또한 최적 조건하에서 제조된 미세캡슐물질 저장을 위한 최적 온도 및 pH는 각각 $25{\circ}C$와 pH 7.0인 것으로 나타났으며, $25^{\circ}C$, pH 7.0의 분산매내에서 7일간 저장한 후에도 99%이상의 미세캡슐이 안정한 상태로 존재함을 확인하였다.

  • This paper deals with the characteristic analysis & optimum design of Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor(PMASynRM) for Premium Efficiency Performance. The focus of this paper is characteristic analysis of d and q-axis inductances and torque according to magnetizing quantity of interior permanent magnet for PMASynRM. The d and q-axis current component ratios, load angles of a PMASynRM are investigated quantitatively on the basis of the proposed analysis method and the experimental test. Comparisons are given with output characteristic curves of normal SynRM and those according to the load in PMASynRM, respectively. And optimum design of PMASynRM is performed by Response Surface Methodology(RSM).

  • Fatigue reliability problems are nowadays actively considered in the design of mechanical components. Recently, Dimension Reduction Method using Kriging approximation (KDRM) was proposed by the authors to efficiently calculate statistical moments of the response function. This method, which is more tractable for its sensitivity-free nature and providing the response PDF in a few number of analyses, is adopted in this study for the reliability analysis. Before applying this method to the practical fatigue problems, accuracies are studied in terms of parameters of the KDRM through a number of numerical examples, from which best set of parameters are suggested. In the fatigue reliability problems, good number of experimental data are necessary to get the statistical distribution of the S-N parameters. The information, however, are not always available due to the limited expense and time. In this case, a family of curves with prediction interval, called P-S-N curve, is constructed from regression analysis. Using the KDRM, once a set of responses are available at the sample points at the mean, all the reliability analyses for each P-S-N curve can be efficiently studied without additional response evaluations. The method is applied to a spring design problem as an illustration of practical applications, in which reliability-based design optimization (RBDO) is conducted by employing stochastic response surface method which includes probabilistic constraints in itself. Resulting information is of great practical value and will be very helpful for making trade-off decision during the fatigue design.

  • This paper proposes a design method by varying rotor pole shape to reduce cogging torque, torque ripple and harmonics of back emf in Spoke type brushless DC(BLDC) motor. In the process of design and analysis, Response surface method(RSM) and finite-element method(FEM) are employed to get the rotor geometry and verify the results of new pole shape.
